Pawan Kalyan is simultaneously shooting for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake and Hara Hara Veera Mallu. His upcoming release Vakeel Saab will be out in theatres on 9th of this month.

Pawan will be joining hands with Harish Shankar for his next project which was officially announced a long while back.

As per reports, Harish Shankar is contemplating to title the film ‘Sanchari’ which translates to wanderer. He feels Sanchari would be the right title for his story.

Incidentally, the unit wrapped up principal look test in Hyderabad today and Harish Shankar is satisfied with Pawan Kalyan’s look.

The pre-production is being carried out currently and the film is likely to hit the floors in the next few months.

Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the project and the unit is finalizing the principle cast now.

Pakistan to approach IMF for second bailout package: Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has indicated that he would approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a second relief package to help the cash-strapped government reach the needy people amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to a media report.

Dawn newspaper reported that Khan’s remarks came during his address at the launch of the United Nations Development Programme’s Pakistan National Human Development Report on Inequality on Tuesday. “We are going to speak to the IMF because we see disruptions ahead just when our economy is recovering and all the indicators are positive,” the paper quoted Khan as saying.

About funds allocated for dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, Khan said Pakistan having a population of 220 million distributed USD 8 billion among people during the pandemic while the US with a population of 330 million provided around USD 4 trillion to the COVID-hit population. “So I think, this is time for a second package and we will talk to the IMF,” the prime minister said.

Earlier, Pakistan had secured a USD 6 billion loan from the IMF in 2019. Khan said the IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva, too, realized the gravity of the situation, as certain conditions could not be imposed on the people amid the pandemic.

Speaking on inequality, Khan said laundering of money from poor states to tax havens and rich countries was widening the gap between rich and poor states even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of families across Pakistan face economic hardship, particularly those working in the informal sector, who have no savings or are not covered by existing social safety net programmes.

The country has been in dire need of funds after its economy contracted after being hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Pakistan has reported over 700,000 COVID-19 cases with more than 15,000 deaths.

MEXICO CITY: The Mexico Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risk (Cofepris) on Wednesday has granted authorization for the emergency use of India’s first domestically-produced COVID-19 vaccine, Covaxin.

“The decision by Cofepris to authorize the emergency use of the Covaxin vaccine produced in India was made very timely. Mexico’s COVID-19 vaccination opportunities are expanding,” Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said in a tweet.


Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, the Mexican authorities have distributed over 9.6 million doses of vaccines, mainly among the elderly and doctors. The massive campaign began in the second half of February, reported Sputnik.

Currently, there are five different vaccines that are being used in Mexico, either purchased from abroad or produced locally–Pfizer/BioNTech, Oxford/AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Cansino, and Sputnik V. According to Johns Hopkins University, Mexico has a total of 2,256,509 COVID-19 cases. As many as 204,985 people have died so far in the country.

Special Cbi Court Cancels Petition Filed By Raju Garu To Cancel Jagan’s Bail!

YSRCP Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju aka RRR who has been locking horns with the AP government and the leaders from his YSRCP party moved the special CBI court on Tuesday.

In the sensational petition, the Narsapur MP sought directions from the court to cancel, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail in the quid pro quo case.

The special CBI court heard the Rebel MP’s petition today and returned the petition, citing that the petition doesn’t have the required details, and directed him to file a new petition along with all the required documents.

Looking at the sensational petition, the MP maintained that CM Jagan is facing around charge sheets and he wants the cancellation of Jagan’s bail as the opposition parties are targeting the government and showing it in a bad light.

The Narsapuram MP expressed his shock over the slow trail against the Chief Minister despite these many charge sheets pending against him. He even advised Jagan to take the examples of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and ex-Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav ,who stepped down from their posts when the trials against them are going on.

He took a step ahead and said he will not step on Andhra Pradesh till CM Jagan is proved either Lord Rama or Ravan. He called the petition he filed in the court as the first step in his pledge.

Dil Raju clarifies about Allu Arjun – Venu Sriram’s Icon

A while ago, Dil Raju announced Icon, which marks the collaboration of Allu Arjun and Venu Sriram. But the project never really took off and Allu Arjun turned busy with other commitments.

It is said that Icon has been shelved. But Dil Raju has confirmed that the project is very much on.

“Icon movie with Allu Arjun is very much on. I can confirm that Venu Sriram will indeed direct the film. More details will be out when the time comes,” he said.

Speaking about Vakeel Saab, Dil Raju said Pawan Kalyan’s introduction scene will come 15 minutes into the film. He says the film has shaped up really well and adds the rise in Covid cases will not have any effect on the film’s box office prospects.

When asked about RC15, the senior producer said the regular shooting will commence from July this year.

ZPTC and MPTC elections get their verdict!

After a petition was filed in the High Court, obstructing the ZPTC and MPTC elections, the Andhra Pradesh HC ordered the stalling of the elections. However, a new judgment has been passed now, by the HC’s division bench.

A judgment was passed after the division bench heard the arguments of both the parties, the SEC and the petitioner, on late Tuesday night. The division bench ordered that the counting of votes cannot take place on April 10th and that the results cannot be announced. It referred this issue back to the single judge bench, that earlier stalled the elections scheduled for Thursday.

The ZPTC and MPTC elections will now take place on Thursday, as scheduled earlier. Senior advocate C V Mohan Reddy argued on behalf of the SEC and that the petitioner, Varla Ramaiahhad no locus standi as he was not a contestant in the elections. He said that the Supreme Court simply suggested that the model code of conduct be followed, and said that all the developmental works would have come to a halt if the model code of conduct were to be implemented for four weeks.

On a whole, there are 660 ZPTCs and 9,984 MPTCs in Andhra Pradesh. As many as 126 ZPTCs and 2,363 MPTCs were elected unanimously during the beginning of the election process in March 2020.

Director Harish Shankar is loved by Pawan Kalyan fans since he gave them a mass hit like ‘Gabbar Singh’. Nearly after a decade of its release, he is going to work with Pawan again. This film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and fans have high expectations on it. The ‘Mirapakay’ director claimed that it is going to be completely different from ‘Gabbar Singh’.

The project is yet to go on floors since Pawan is busy with ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ remake, ‘Hara Hara Veera Mallu’ and others, News is that Harish’s project may kick-start next year. Grapevine suggests that the makers are considering ‘Sanchari’ as the title of this film. ‘Sanchari’ means traveler or wanderer which is raising a lot of curiosity over this film.

The concept poster which was released long back showed a stylish bike with Peda Baala Siksha book and a rose flower on it. Also, it had Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Subash Chandra Bose’s photos on the poster. This shows that the film could be a social drama with a touch of patriotism. With the name ‘Sanchari’ going around, it is to be seen if it gets confirmed or not.

A 5 pages letter on the name of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s mother, YS Vijayalakshmi, was recently released to the public. In this letter, she talks about YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder, and the various speculations surrounding YS Sharmila’s party in Telangana.

ABN Andhrajyothi’s Radha Krishna has been running several articles in his paper, based on this letter, which is reportedly causing a lot of embarrassment to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. As if in a spirit of revenge, Andhrajyothi’s printing press at Mindi in Visakhapatnam city has been razed to the ground by state government officials, who said that the construction on the site was illegal.

The land is private property, which has been entered out to Andhrajyothi five years ago.
