తమిళనాడు ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా జయలలిత ఉన్న సమయంలో చిన్నమ్మ శశికళ ఆడిందే ఆట పాడిందే పాట అన్నట్లుగా సాగింది. ఆమె మంత్రులపై కూడా పెత్తనం చేసి షాడో సీఎంగా వ్యవహరించింది. జయలలిత మృతి చెందిన సమయంలో అనూహ్యంగా శశికల సీఎం అవ్వాల్సి ఉన్నా కూడా అక్రమాస్తుల కేసులో అరెస్టు అయ్యి జైలుకు వెళ్లింది. నాలుగు సంవత్సరాలు జైలు జీవితం అనుభవించి వచ్చిన శశికళ తిరిగి రాజకీయాల్లో ఒక వెలుగు వెలగడం ఖాయం అనుకున్నారు అంతా. కాని అనూహ్యంగా ఆమె రాజకీయ సన్యాసం తీసుకుంటున్నట్లుగా ప్రకటించింది. ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేయలేదు సరి కదా కనీసం ఆమె ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో ఓటు కూడా వేయలేక పోయింది.

YS Sharmila faces a major setback for Khammam meeting in the form of Covid-19!
YS Sharmila, who is making elaborate arrangements for her first meeting to mark her entry to Telangana politics faced a serious setback in the form of novel Coronavirus.
Ahead of her maiden political meeting, Sharmila received GO no 68 and 69 served by the Khammam police stating that the permission granted for the meeting earlier has been canceled with the Covid-19 fear, reports claimed.
It is said that the Khammam Police issued notices to Lakkineni Sudheer, the serving district in charge of the yet-to-be-announced political outfit of YS Sharmila.
As a response to the notices issued by the Police department, the organisers of the political meeting said that they would conduct the political meeting by following the Covid-19 guidelines.
With the Police serving GOs stating the cancellation of the permission, YS Sharmila supporters have reportedly decided to cut short the number of invitees to the meeting and re-applied for permission to hold the meeting.
YSR supporters are eagerly waiting for the maiden political meeting of Sharmila as she is expected to unveil the party name and flag of her political party.

Where is Balka Suman? This is the question that the people in general and TRS party workers in particular are asking in Chennur assembly constituency. For the last 40 days, Balka Suman has not visited Chennur. He is said to be available only to a close coterie of party leaders.
Balka Suman, a young MLA known to be close to the KCR family, has not been visiting his constituency. As of now, he has the alibi of working in Nagarjunasagar assembly constituency, which will go to bypolls. But, even otherwise, his visits to the constituency are fewer and far between. Even when he visits the constituency, he meets only a handful of key leaders and then rushes back to Hyderabad. He is spending most of his time in Hyderabad to remain in the good books of KCR and KTR. Currently, he is busy with Nagarjunasagar assembly constituency where a prestigious electoral battle is on.
At least two leaders in Chennur, who are known to be staunchly opposed to Balka Suman are taking advantage of the situation and are trying to create negative opinion about Suman. Yet, Suman, it appears, doesn’t seem to care. He is still pre-occupied with Hyderabad affairs. The BJP has already taken this issue up and has staged demonstrations.
Massive Pre-Release Business For ‘Acharya’!
After a periodic film like ‘Sye Raa’, Megastar Chiranjeevi is arriving this summer with a social drama like ‘Acharya’. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, this film has Ram Charan playing a crucial role while Kajal Agarwal is the heroine. Being a Megastar’s film, there are massive expectations on this movie and the teaser got a very good response.
The first song ‘Laahe Laahe’ which came out recently got a lot of views on Youtube. The film is set to release on May 13th and it is in the last leg of its production. Talk in the tinsel town is that ‘Acharya’ is doing great pre-release business. As per reports, the theatrical rights of Nizam were sold to Warangal Sreenu for 42 crores while the Andhra and Ceded rights summed up to 60 crores.
Since both ‘Khaidi No 150’ and ‘Sye Raa’ did well in overseas, the buyers are showing a lot of interest in grabbing the rights of ‘Acharya’ too. If sources are to be believed, the pre-release business of the film may go till 140 crores and it needs to get at least 150 crores to earn the tag of a hit. Let us see if it happens or not.

CM Jagan announces ex-gratia to kin of 2 soldiers from AP martyred in Maoist Attack
In a heart-wrenching incident, 23 security personnel were killed and 33 injured on Saturday in one of the deadliest Maoist ambushes. This incident has shaken the entire nation, and two soldiers from Andhra Pradesh were also among the martyred.
Jawan Routhu Jagdeesh of Gajularegaku in Vijayanagaram district and Shakhamuri Murali Krishna of Gudipudi village in Sattanapalli Mandal of Guntur district were shot dead by Maoists.
AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed deep shock over the incident. He said violence is not acceptable in a democracy.
Expressing his deep condolences to the families of the two soldiers, the CM announced financial assistance of Rs 30 lakh to the families. He directed the officials to promptly grant financial help to the families of the victims.
On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited Jagdalpur this morning to pay homage to the bodies of 14 martyrs. Amit Shah then visited the area where the jawans were attacked. He also visited the families of the victims who were receiving treatment.

Vakeel Saab’s pre-release event had multiple special attractions and it build good buzz to the film ahead of its release. Now, the makers of the Pawan Kalyan starrer are releasing the fourth and final song from the audio album today.
The song is titled Kadhulu Kadhulu and it appears to be a hard-hitting number. In the poster we see a masculine hand upholding a woman’s hand which could be an indication that this song is based on women empowerment.
Given the fact that Ramajogayya Sastry penned the lyrics for this song we can expect it to have deep and impactful libretto.
The song will be out at 3 PM tomorrow and it is one of the last promotional material to be unveiled by the unit as the film gears up for theatrical release on 9th of this month.

Shashikala cannot cast her vote today !!
Shashikala, who was expelled from the AIADMK, lost her right to vote. Her name was deleted from the voter list. As a result, she lost the opportunity to exercise her right to vote in today’s polling.
In addition to Sasikala, 19 other names were deleted on the voters’ list along with J.Ilavarasi. Poise Garden, in which Shasjikala is currently living, comes under the Thousand Lights constituency.
AMMK candidate Vaidyanathan questioned how Shashikala’s name could be removed from the voters’ list. Vaidyanathan alleged that Shashikala’s name was removed from the voter list on the advice of CM Palaniswami.
On the other hand, election officials made it clear that Shashikala has not lived in Chennai for many years, and that her name has been removed from the voters’ list.
Election officials said they have already informed her relatives about this, but no one has responded.
Exclusive: Sai Dharam Tej in talks with Sukumar’s associate, again..?
Sai Dharam Tej is presently shooting for SDT15, a rural drama based on supernatural elements which is being directed by Karthik Varma Dandu who was once an associate of Sukumar. In fact, the star director is penning the screenplay for this film.
Now, our sources say Sai Dharam Tej is in talks with another one of Sukumar’s associate.
Reportedly, Jayanth, an associate of Sukumar narrated a story to Sai Dharam Tej very recently and the young actor is impressed with it. He is yet to sign the dotted line though.
Noted production house, SVCC is in advanced talks with Sai Dharam Tej and Jayanth. The project is likely to materialize.
Sai Dharam Tej will take the final call on the project once he is done with SDT15.
