Sources say the real reason for most leaders staying away from the campaign is the feeler that Jana Reddy would be made the PCC chief if he wins from Nagarjunasagar. So, a large section of the leadership, which does not want Jana Reddy to grow stronger, has kept away from the campaign.
As a result, Jana Reddy is forced to campaign all alone. Jana, however, is a veteran of many a battle and knows the constituency like the palm of his hand. Yet, the absence of key leaders in the campaign is sure to rattle him. The TRS has put up Nomula Narsimhaiah’s son Nomula Bhagat as its candidate.

Fans Disappointed With No Benefit Shows For ‘Vakeel Saab’!
Post lockdown, ‘Vakeel Saab’ is the biggest film releasing in Tollywood. Also, Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback into films after a brief sabbatical which makes this film even more special. The teaser, trailer and songs have all impressed the audience and this film is all set to hit the screens on 9th April.
The trailer launch of ‘Vakeel Saab’ was done in a grand manner by screening it in a large number of theatres. Fans flocked into the theatres to watch the trailer and there was a lot of Hungama around. Fans were excited to take this mania to another level during the day of its release. Much to their disappointment, the coronavirus has forced the governments of both the Telugus states to cancel all the benefit/extra shows for this film.
This means that ‘Vakeel Saab’ will only have four shows per day. On the other hand, there is still no clarity over the grand pre-release event considering the present situation. The makers are planning to organize a low-key event at a hotel in front of the media. This is surely disheartening news for fans but it is a lot better than reducing occupancy or stopping the shows as the other states.

Boycotting the polls will be a backfire for TDP??
TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu‘s decision to boycott the Parishad elections in the state of Andhra Pradesh seems to have a negative impact on TDP.
The TDP suffered a devastating defeat in the Gram Panchayat elections in Chandrababu’s own constituency Kuppam.
Chandrababu decided to boycott the Parishad elections. Not only the TDP but other parties like Janasena are also demanding that a new notification be issued for the conduct of ZPTC and MPTC elections.
They are demanding the SEC to cancel the process that has taken place so far. However, the new AP SEC Neelam Sawnheyi decided that the process should continue and no new notification was required.
It seems Chandrababu has given a better chance to the BJP-Janasena alliance by keeping the TDP out of the race. Janasena boycotted a meeting organized by the SEC with political parties. However, it remains to be seen whether the BJP-Janasena alliance will compete and win over the ruling party.
Some of the political pundits are of the view that even if defeated, the cadre needs to compete to survive in AP. However, Chandrababu’s decision was not politically encouraged.
Pushpa Prelude: A glimpse of Allu Arjun aka Pushpa Raj
As announced yesterday, the makers of Allu Arjun‘a Pushpa unveiled a prelude of the film at 11 AM today. It gives a small peek into the world of Allu Arjun aka Pushpa Raj.
The 18-second video shows Allu Arjun running in a forest with his hands tied behind his back. Also, his face is not revealed in the video as it is covered with a piece of cloth.
This prelude is more of a glimpse of the first teaser that is to follow.

The first teaser of Pushpa featuring Allu Arjun will be out on 7th April, a day ahead of his birth, which falls on 8th April.
Allu Arjun‘s look and physical appearance in Pushpa is said to be one of the very best in recent times and we will be getting a glimpse of the same with the teaser which will be out on 7th of this month.
The Sukumar directorial is slated for release on 13th August. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faisal in important roles.

BJP will be the major opposition for YSRCP in Parishad polls, says Somu Veerraju
AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju has announced that he will definitely compete with the ruling party, YSRCP in the upcoming Parishad elections.
Veerraju said that the BJP would be the major opposition for YSRCP in the Parishad elections. Somu Veerraju made it clear that he would fight the YCP atrocities together with the people.
Earlier, Somu Veerraju wrote a letter to AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy. During the TDP regime, there were manipulations in the manufacture of medical devices. The case was asked to be completed expeditiously.
Somu Veerraju demanded that the accused be produced in court. The CBI has already registered a case against the TBS scam in the medical department. The case was registered on a complaint lodged by a man named Venkata Ramaraju. The accused included TBS and several staff members.
Shankar planning to settle Indian 2 issue and move on to RC15
It is known that Lyca Productions lodged a case against acclaimed director Shankar for delaying Indian 2 shoot. They filed a case in Madras High Court and Shankar was ordered to revert back to the court by 15th of this month.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Shankar who is baffled by the case filed by Lyca Productions wants to settle the issue at the earliest.
It is said that Shankar is fully committed towards RC15, starring Ram Charan. This project was officially announced a couple of months ago.
Apparently, Shankar wants to take RC15 onto the floors by August this year. He is acting accordingly.
The maverick filmmaker wants to settle the dispute with Lyca Productions very soon so that he can move onto other projects.
The star director and the noted production house are expected to come to an agreement in a month or so and that should put an end to the controversy surrounding Indian 2. More details are awaited.
