‘సక్సెస్ అనేది రెండు రకాలు. ఒకటి డబ్భుతో వచ్చేది, మరొకటి పేరుతొ వచ్చేది. ‘పైసా పరమాత్మ’ నాకు మంచి దర్శకుడిగా శాటిస్ ఫ్యాక్షన్ ఇచ్చింది. ఒక దర్శకుడిగా నేను ఏదైతే స్క్రిప్ట్ అనుకున్నానో దానిని పర్ఫెక్ట్ గా వందశాతం స్క్రీన్ పై ప్రెజెంట్ చేయగలిగాను. సినిమా చూసిన ప్రేక్షకులు వందశాతం మార్కులు దర్శకుడికి వేశారు’అని అన్నారు పైసా పరమాత్మ దర్శకుడు విజయ్‌ కిరణ్‌ తిరుమల.

యువకులు, బ్రహ్మతో క్రియేటివ్ స్టార్ గా ప్రేక్షకుల్లో మంచి గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న విజయ్ కిరణ్ తిరుమల కొంతకాలం గ్యాప్ తర్వాత మెగా ఫోన్ పట్టి రీసెంట్ గా ‘పైసా పరమాత్మ’ చిత్రానికి దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. సాకేత్, సుధీర్, కృష్ణ తేజ్, జబర్దస్త్ అవినాష్, ర‌మ‌ణ‌, అనూష‌, అరోహి నాయుడు, బ‌నీష, జబర్దస్త్ దీవెన ప్రధాన పాత్రలలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ల‌క్ష్మీ సుచిత్ర క్రియేష‌న్స్ ప‌తాకంపై టి.కిర‌ణ్ కుమార్ నిర్మించారు. మార్చి 12న విడుదలయిన ఈ చిత్రానికి ప్రేక్షకులనుండి మంచి స్పందన లభిస్తోంది. కాగా ఈ చిత్ర దర్శకుడు విజయ్ కిరణ్ తిరుమల మీడియాతో తన ఆనందాన్ని పంచుకున్నారు.

పూరి జగన్నాద్, త్రివిక్రమ్, కృష్ణ వంశీ గారు వాళ్ళ మార్క్ ఏంటో క్రియేట్ చేసుకున్నారు. అలా నాకంటూ నా స్టయిల్ లో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించగలిగాను. క్యారెక్టర్స్ ఎలివేషన్ హైలెట్ గా చూపించడం జరిగింది. ఆర్టిస్టుల దగ్గరనుండి పాత్రకు తగ్గట్లు పెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ రాబట్టుకోగలిగాను. అన్ని ప్రధాన పాత్రలు బాగా ఈ చిత్రంలో పండాయి. టైటిల్ కి ఎంత మంచి పేరు వచ్చిందో సినిమాకి కూడా అంతే హ్యుజ్ రెస్పాన్స్ వస్తోంది. త్వరలో ఓటిటి లో కూడా రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నాం. ఇక నుంచి నేను చేయబోయే చిత్రాలు కొన్ని ప్రముఖ నిర్మాణ సంస్థలతో కలిసి టయ్యప్ అయి చేయాలనీ ప్లాన్ చేస్తున్నాను. ప్రస్తుతం రెండు కథలు సిద్ధంగా వున్నాయి.. ప్రాపర్ గా అవి బౌండ్ స్క్రిప్ట్స్ రెడీ చేసి ప్రీ-ప్రొడక్షన్ వర్క్ జరపాలి. మా లక్ష్మి సుచిత్ర బ్యానర్ లో కొత్త కంటెంట్ వున్నా అన్ని జానర్ మూవీస్ చేయాలనీ నిర్ణయించుకున్నాం. నా జీవితం అంతా సినిమానే.. సినిమా అంటే నాకు విపరీతమైన ఇష్టం. మంచి స్టార్ కాస్ట్ తో బ్లాక్ బస్టర్స్ మూవీస్ చేయాలనీ దర్శకుడిగా నా గోల్. త్వరలో డి యమ్ కే టైటిల్ తో ఒక పవర్ ఫుల్ కాఫ్ స్టోరీ తో సినిమా చేయబోతున్నాను’అని అన్నారు.

Covid-19 Fear: Maharashtra Re-Imposes 50 percent restriction

Maharashtra, the worst-affected state in India with the Coronavirus outbreak is going through a rough phase with the second wave of the virus spread. Maharashtra is one of the major contributors to the massive spike in fresh infections.

To curb the fresh Coronavirus infections, the Maharashtra government announced the re-imposition of Corona restrictions. The restrictions will remain effective in the state till March 31st.

As per the new announcement, the cinema halls/hotels/restaurants have been directed to follow 50 percent restrictions till March 31st. The government has also warned that if the restrictions were violated, they will be shut till the pandemic outbreak ends.

According to the Standard operating procedure(SOP), the offices will work with only 50 percent attendance till March 31st. The remaining staff will be work from home. The offices have been directed to make the required arrangements to check the body temperature and hand sanitizers should also be made available.

The social, cultural, political, and religious gatherings have been suspended in the state until further notice. If the restrictions are violated, the owner of these places will be slapped with a penalty and the property will be closed.

On Monday, Maharashtra witnessed 15,051 new Covid-19 cases which in turn takes the total toll of the pandemic cases to 23,29,464.

As a precautionary measure, the Uddhav Thackeray-led government has earlier imposed curfew and lockdown in a few regions to contain the virus spread. However, these measures remained failed attempts.

Shared climate vision on visit agenda with friend PM Modi: Boris Johnson

LONDON: Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday said the UK and India’s shared vision for a sustainable future will be among the issues on the agenda for talks with “friend” Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his upcoming visit to New Delhi next month.

Addressing the virtual International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) inaugurated by Modi, Johnson hailed the Indian Prime Minister’s “fantastic leadership” in areas such as renewable energy in the global fight against climate change and welcomed the “excellent initiative” of CDRI led by India and co-chaired by the UK.

He said the goal of such coalitions was to learn more from each other and support those particularly at risk from the dramatic effects of climate change, such as small island nations.

“We have a shared vision for a sustainable future for our nations and global community and I very much look forward to discussing this and many other issues with Prime Minister Modi on my upcoming visit to India,” he said, in his video message from Downing Street in London.

Johnson is set to visit India at the end of April.

EU chief says AstraZeneca shortfalls slow vaccine campaign

BRUSSELS: The European Union’s chief executive criticised Anglo-Swedish vaccine-maker AstraZeneca on Wednesday, accusing the embattled pharmaceutical company of delaying Europe’s coronavirus vaccination campaign and warning that the EU is weighing export bans to ensure supplies.

“AstraZeneca has unfortunately under-produced and under-delivered, and this painfully, of course, reduced the speed of the vaccination campaign,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters.

Von der Leyen said the company originally pledged to deliver 90 million doses of its shot in the first three months of 2021, but later said it could only provide 40 million, then more recently only 30 million.

Beyond criticism for its slow deliveries, notably in Europe, AstraZeneca also has had to deal with reports of dangerous blood clots in some recipients of its shot, although the company and international regulators say there is no evidence the vaccine is to blame.

Several countries, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain, have suspended its use.

The EU’s drug regulator insisted Tuesday that there is “no indication” it does so, and von der Leyen said Wednesday that “I trust AstraZeneca, I trust the vaccines.”

AstraZeneca’s formula is one of three vaccines in use on the continent.

But the escalating concern is another setback for the EU’s vaccination drive, which has been plagued by shortages and other hurdles and is lagging well behind the campaigns in Britain and the US.

For the second quarter of 2021, van der Leyen said, AstraZeneca will only deliver 70 million doses, less than half of the 180 million it was “contractually obliged to deliver.

” Two production sites in the UK figure in the EU’s advance purchasing agreement drawn up with AstraZeneca, she said, adding: “We’re still waiting for doses to come from the UK,” she said.

Von der Leyen also noted the EU has exported around 41 million vaccine doses to other countries.

“But open roads run in both directions, and this is why we need to ensure that there is reciprocity and proportionality,” she said.

“If the situation does not change, we will have to reflect on how to make exports to vaccine producing countries dependent on their level of openness,” she added, without naming any country.

She said the EU still aims to vaccinate 70% of all adults by September.

BJP leader Tirath Singh Rawat, who was appointed as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand recently attracted social media trolls after he made disrespectful comments on women about their dressing.

Going into detail, the newly appointed Chief Minister took part in an event organised by the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. The event was held in Dehradun.

In the meeting chaired with Chief Ministers of the states in India over Coronavirus spread in the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said vaccine wastage is taking place in AP, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh and expressed his dissatisfaction over this.

Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender responded to Union Government’s claims on vaccine wastage. The Minister said, no Coronavirus vaccine wastage is taking place in the state.

According to the media reports, Etela Rajender said, there is no truth in the news of vaccine wastage and reportedly said, the state has been carrying out the vaccination drive with utmost perfection.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the meeting with CMs said, more than 10 percent of vaccines are being wasted in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh and directed the states to take a special focus on vaccine wastage and the required measures to bring down the wastage.

Looking at the infections in the state, Telangana’s toll rose to 3,01,769 after 247 new infections were reported. So far, 1,659 patients breathed their last battling the respiratory disease. With 158 new recoveries, total recoveries mounted to 2,98,009.

TDP member JC Diwakar Reddy recently visited the CLP office in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media, JC made several controversial statements against the Congress party and its members.

Former Rajya Sabha member and Congress party senior leader V Hanumantha Rao criticised the way JC spoke about Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the CLP office. He also criticised the way the Telangana congress members failed to defend their own party, and let JC speak trash about the party.

Hanumantha Rao asked JC to show his power in Andhra Pradesh, and challenged him to win in Anantapur or Rayalaseema, and told JC that no one is in need of his predictions in Telangana. Hanumantha Rao also said that it was pretty clear that JC was a KCR covert.

Several Congress members have lodged a complaint against Bhatti, Jeevan Reddy and Rajagopal Reddy, with the high command of Congress, as they did not go to the rescue of the party when JC was talking trash about the party and about Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

JC said that Sonia Gandhi did a major mistake by allowing for the formation of a separate state of Telangana, as the Congress party has faded into oblivion in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh now. He also said that Jana Reddy wouldn’t win in the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections as well.

Santosh Srinivas hoped to put an end to his flop streak and get back to winning ways with his latest outing, Alludu Adhurs, starring Bellamkonda Srinivas, but that did not happen.

Alludu Adhurs, which released yesterday, got off to a rather horrid start. The film opened to a weak word of mouth and Santosh Srinivas is facing flak for his substandard work.

Incidentally, Santosh planned to work with Nandamuri Balakrishna after Alludu Adhurs, hoping the film would do well. But sadly for him, the film tanked.

Now, the big question is – Will Balakrishna give his nod to work with Santosh Srinivas, who is struggling big time?

Well, Santosh had even prepared a story for Balakrishna with the latter’s star image in mind. Now that Alludu Adhurs is not doing well, it is unclear if Balakrishna would agree to work with him.

రాజధాని అమరావతి ప్రాంతంలోని అసైన్డ్ భూముల వ్యవహారానికి సంబంధించి మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబునాయుడికి, ఏపీ సీఐడీ నోటీసులు ఇచ్చిన వ్యవహారంపై టీడీపీ నుంచే రెండు భిన్న వాదనలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. ‘రెడ్డి సామాజిక వర్గానికి చెందిన ఆళ్ళ రామకృష్ణారెడ్డి ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తే.. చంద్రబాబు మీద ఎస్సీ ఎస్టీ చట్టం కింద కేసులెలా పెడతారు.?’ అన్నది టీడీపీ వాదన. అదే సమయంలో, చంద్రబాబు న్యాయ సలహా తీసుకునేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారన్నది టీడీపీ అనుకూల మీడియా నుంచి వినిపిస్తోన్నవాదన.

అయితే చంద్రబాబు, ఈ కేసులో విచారణకు వెళ్ళడం, వెళ్ళకపోవడానికి సంబంధించి పెద్ద చర్చే నడుస్తోంది మీడియా, రాజకీయ వర్గాల్లో. ‘సిల్లీ కేసు’ అని ఓ పక్క నారా లోకేష్ కుండబద్దలుగొట్టేస్తోంటే, ఇంకోపక్క ‘రాజకీయ కుట్ర.. కక్ష సాధింపుల పర్వం’ అని టీడీపీకి చెందిన ఇతర నేతలు చెబుతున్నారు. ఏది నిజం.? సిల్లీ కేసు అయితే, రాజకీయ కక్ష సాధింపు చర్చలకు ఆస్కారముండదు. ‘ఇదేదో 60-40 ఒప్పందాల వ్యవహారంలా వుంది.. ఎస్సీ ఎస్టీ అట్రాసిటీ కేసు పెట్టేందుకు అర్హత సాధించిన ఎమ్మెల్యే రెడ్డి..’ అంటూ సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా అటు అధికార పార్టీపైనా, ఇటు ప్రతిపక్షంపైనా ట్రోలింగ్ విపరీతంగా జరుగుతోంది.

ఇదిలా వుంటే, వ్యవస్థల్ని మేనేజ్ చేయడంలో చంద్రబాబు దిట్ట గనుక, ఈ కేసు నుంచి ఆయన బయటపడటం పెద్ద కష్టమేమీ కాదని అధికార పార్టీ నేతలే వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తుండడం మరో ఆసక్తికరమైన అంశం. తిరుపతి ఉప ఎన్నికల వేళ, అత్యంత వ్యూహాత్మకంగా టీడీపీకి జాకీలేసే ప్రయత్నంలో అధికార పార్టీ ఈ ‘సిల్లీ స్టెప్’ వేసిందనే వాదనలూ లేకపోలేదు.

ఈ మొత్తం రాజకీయ రచ్చ కారణంగా, అసలు అమరావతిలో కుంభకోణం జరిగిందా.? లేదా.? లక్ష కోట్లకు పైనే దోచేశారంటూ గతంలో చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం మీద ఆరోపణలు చేసిన వైసీపీ, తాము అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక.. ఇంతవరకు ఒక్క రూపాయిని కూడా వెనక్కి తీసుకురాలేకపోవడాన్ని ఏమనాలి.? అన్నది ఇతర పార్టీల నుంచి దూసుకొస్తున్న ప్రశ్న.

కొసమెరుపేంటటే, ఆంధ్రపదేశ్ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాలు త్వరలో జరగనుండగా, సరిగ్గా ఈ సమయంలోనే చంద్రబాబుకి ఏపీ సీఐడీ నోటీసులు పంపడం. చంద్రబాబుకి ఏపీ సీఐడీ నోటీసులతో విశాఖ ఉక్కు వ్యవహారం తెరమరుగైపోయిందని అనుకోవచ్చా.?
