‘Fitness Queen’ Samantha Akkineni pulls off floor aerobics in the gym
There is no denying the fact that Samantha Akkineni is one of the fittest female celebrities in Indian cinema. Known to be a fitness fanatic, her daily routine in the gym usually workouts oscillate between cardio exercise and weight training. At present, she is shooting for Vignesh Shivan’s Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal in Chennai and seems to be exhausted after working for 15 hours in the day. However, whatever might be the circumstances, she never misses out on her daily workout routine and the below video is proof.
Taking to Instagram Story, the 33-year-old bombshell shared a few clips in which she can be performing aerobics on the gym floor with the song of Fever composed by Dua Lipa in the background. Draped in a sports top and yoga pants, Sam looked committed as usual in her workout session and she thanked fitness coach Ashwin for monitoring her exercise.
Recently, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Samantha participated in the spiritual celebrations at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore and she was accompanied by Rakul Preet Singh, Manchu Lakshmi and Shilpa Reddy. Slipping into a green coloured kurta with a pink dupatta on her neck, she can be seen meditating and dancing alongside Sadhguru in the clips from the event.

Gearing up for the release of her maiden digital show ‘The Family Man’ (Season 2), Samantha is occupied with the Tamil film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She is also headlining Gunasekhar’s upcoming mythological drama ‘Shakuntalam’ which is based on Kalidasa’s eponymous work. ‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’ fame Dev Mohan has been confirmed to essay the role of Dushyant in the mythological drama.

Has Chandrababu destroyed TDP?
Nara Chandrababu Naidu is a fierce leader and an experienced politician without doubt, however, if the recent municipal elections are anything to go by, then the ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has been the main reason for the TDP’s debacle in the recently concluded municipal elections.
Chandrababu Naidu, at a recent speech, asked the people of the state if they are shameless. This was with regards other people supporting and voting for the YSRCP. Naidu said that the people would not vote for YSRCP if they wanted development and if they wanted Amaravati to be the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Politicians are supposed to make sure that they are always on the side of the people no matter what. For politicians, people are Gods in a lot of ways, beginning with their votes. If these people are treated badly by the politicians, then the politicians will become inconsequential, and will not become leaders at any point.
Chandrababu is someone who functions well when he is in power. He does everything to stay in power and takes down any opposition to him. However, this is not the case when he is not in power, as evidenced by the recent happenings. A lot of political analysts say that Naidu has managed to bring a horrible name to the party that Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao started and made huge, thereby tarnishing the image of TDP.
Perhaps it’s time for Naidu to re-asses his actions and take a different route if he wants the support of the people.
Samantha Akkineni on meditation: It will be the greatest gift you can give yourself
It’s not just rigorous workouts that keeps Samantha Akkineni fit as the actress also swears by yoga and meditation.
After attending festivities for Mahasivaratri in Chennai, the actress took to social media and revealed the importance of meditation in her life. Sharing a picture with her friends and colleagues Rakul Preet Singh and Manchu Lakshmi which sees all three of them meditating, she wrote, “Every time I sit down to meditate, there’s a surreal feeling that passes through me. It changes the way I look at things and frees me from internal thoughts that hold me back. Meditation brings a sense of calm and positivity in my life.” (sic)

Further stating that meditation is the best gift for oneself, she added, “Whatever may be the method of meditation or the school of yoga that you follow. Start your journey now ..It will be the greatest gift that you can give yourself.” (sic) Quoting spiritual entrepreneur Jaggi Vasudev aka Sadhguru, she wrote, “Meditation is the only way to freedom from stress as it is a dimension beyond the mind. Buckingham Palace to get law firm to conduct Meghan Markle bullying probe: Report
LONDON: Buckingham Palace plans to hand over an investigation into allegations that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, may have bullied staff during her time as a frontline royal with Prince Harry in Britain to external investigators, a UK media report said on Sunday.
Earlier this month, the palace had confirmed that a probe would be conducted after ‘The Times’ published a leaked email from a staff member alleging that the former American actress drove two personal assistants out of the royal household and undermined the confidence of a third member of staff.
Now, ‘The Sunday Times’ reports that it has been decided that the inquiry would be handed to a third-party law firm to conduct an independent investigation, rather than an inhouse inquiry.
“Our commitment to look into the circumstances around the allegations from former staff of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is being taken forward but we will not be providing a public commentary on it,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said.
Several former and current royal aides who could not give evidence in court during Meghan Markle’s recent legal case about privacy against a British newspaper are expected to speak to the inquiry.
“The actual worst incidences haven’t come out. There are some harrowing stories to tell,” the newspaper quoted a royal source as saying.
The complaint against Meghan dates back to October 2018 when an email was sent by a member of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s staff to a senior courtier.
The email was forwarded to the HR department, but the complaint did not progress.
The palace inquiry into the exact circumstances was announced days before Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey was aired last weekend, in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a series of shocking claims around the lack of mental health support offered to a suicidal Meghan and unnamed royals raising concerns about the skin colour of their mixed-race son Archie.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members,” read a Buckingham Palace statement, days after the interview.
Prince William, Harry’s older brother, is the only senior royal to directly comment on the allegations as he responded to reporters’ questions with: “We are very much not a racist family.” The relationship between the brothers has been strained for some time and it emerged this weekend that they had “been in contact” for the first time since the Oprah Winfrey interview, reportedly via text message.
Meanwhile, their father Prince Charles is said to be “upset and cut up” after Harry had spoken of his hurt at the Prince of Wales not taking his calls after he announced his decision to step back as a frontline royal last year and cut him off financially.
“It was a surprise to hear he’d been cut off, given the bank statements.
The prince continued to provide Harry and Meghan with financial support after their move to America, while they found their feet,” a source close to Charles told ‘The Sunday Times’.
Paris may face new lockdown as ICUs fill up
PARIS: Officials say the Paris region may be headed toward a new lockdown as new variants of the virus fill up intensive care units and limited vaccine supplies drag down inoculation efforts.
Special medical planes dispatched patients from the Paris area to less-saturated regions over the weekend.
“If we have to lock down, we will do it,” the head of the national health agency, Jerome Salomon, said on BFM television Sunday. “The situation is complex, tense and is worsening in the Paris region.”
Salomon acknowledges that a nationwide 6 p.m. curfew “wasn’t enough” in some regions to prevent a spike in cases, notably of the variant first identified in Britain.
The French government has been relying on curfews for months — along with the long-term closures of restaurants and some other businesses — to try to avoid a costly new lockdown. But localized outbreaks are raising questions about the government’s virus-fighting strategy.
Salomon says France has more people in intensive care for COVID-19 and other ailments – about 6,300 — than the overall number of ICU beds it had going into the pandemic.
France has reported 90,315 virus-related deaths, among the world’s highest death tolls.

Simran Kaur Mundi rubbishes rumours about her role in Prabhas, Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam
Actress-model, Femina Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi, is playing a key role in Radha Krishna Kumar’s Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam.
However, recent rumours stated that the entire plot of the film will revolve around her character and the actress rubbished these rumours on social media, making it clear the main plot has nothing to do with her. Alleging that she’s being misquoted, she posted a clarification on social media that reads, “I am not playing a crucial role opposite Prabhas and neither does the plot revolve around my character! Can we please stop twisting words and misquoting! Thank You.” (sic)
The actress had wrapped up shooting for her character in February. Sharing a picture with the director, she had written, “And its a wrap for me was lovely working with you @director_radhaa on #RadheShyam cannot wait to watch the magic you have weaved.” (sic) However, it is unknown what role the Potugadu actress plays in the film.
Shooting for Radhe Shyam was wrapped up after the lockdown and shooting in Italy, Georgia, France and Hyderabad. Bollywood actress Bhagyashree is also making a comeback to films by playing a key role in the film. Radhe Shyam is slated to hit screens on July 30.
Jc Brothers Save Tdp From A Major Embarrassment
TDP faced one more humiliating loss in the civic body polls after suffering a big loss in the local body polls. The common point in both the losses is TDP lost the elections without giving a tough fight to the YSRCP.
The only relief for the opposition TDP is, the party winning the Tadipatri municipality, thanks to the efforts of the JC brothers, who enjoy a good hold on the region despite losing the 2019 polls.
JC brothers helped Telugu Desam Party(TDP) win the Tadipatri municipality by winning 18 divisions out of the 36 divisions. YSRCP came close to the mark with 16 divisions. Two others claimed the remaining wards.
JC Prabhakar Reddy, who once served as MLA stood in the 24th ward of Tadipatri municipality and emerged victorious in the polls with a majority of 304 votes. He holds a stronghold in the constituency as he served as Municipal corporation and MLA from Tadipatri.
On the other hand, TDP had also claimed the Mydukuru Municipality in the Kadapa district.TDP emerged victorious in 12 wards, while YSRCP and Janasena claimed 11 and 1 division respectively.
One more challenge TDP will face is to elect the chairperson for the two municipalities. Stopping leaders from jumping to other camps will be the main task for the TDP.

In what it could be a hammer blow to the TDP, the party suffered a major setback in the civic body polls.TDP failed to win the Municipalities and Corporations where it had a good hold.
TDP Chief, former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reacted to the humiliating loss of TDP in the Municipal polls. He thanked the cadre and leaders who worked hard in the campaigning activities.
