స్టార్ డైరెక్టర్ సుకుమార్ తన శిష్యులను దర్శకులుగా పరిచయం చేస్తూ తాను కథ స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అందిస్తూ నిర్మిస్తున్న సినిమాలు మంచి విజయాలను దక్కించుకుంటున్నాయి. ఇటీవల వచ్చిన ఉప్పెన ఆ కోవకు చెందినదే. సుకుమార్ శిష్యుడు బుచ్చిబాబు ఉప్పెన సినిమాతో దర్శకుడిగా పరిచయం అయ్యాడు. ఉప్పెన సినిమాకు స్క్రీన్ ప్లే మరియు దర్శకత్వ పర్యవేక్షణ సుకుమార్ అందించారు. దాంతో ఉప్పెన భారీ విజయాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకుంది. అందుకే సుకుమార్ తో కలిసి సినిమా చేయాలని చాలా మంది నిర్మాతలు ఆశ పడుతున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు సుకుమార్ రైటింగ్స్ నుండి కొత్త సినిమాకు రంగం సిద్దం అయ్యింది.
సుకుమార్ కథ, స్క్రీన్ప్లే మాటలు అందిస్తూ నిర్మిస్తున్న సినిమా లో కార్తికేయ హీరోగా నటించబోతున్నాడు. ఆర్ఎక్స్ 100 సినిమాతో హీరోగా గుర్తింపు దక్కించుకున్న కార్తికేయ ఆ తర్వాత పలు సినిమాల్లో నటించి మెప్పించాడు. వరుసగా సినిమాలు చేసుకుంటూ వెళ్తున్న కార్తికేయ త్వరలో చావు కబురు చల్లగా సినిమాతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతున్నాడు. ఈ సమయంలో సుకుమార్ రైటింగ్స్ లో కార్తికేయ సినిమా అధికారిక ప్రకటన వచ్చింది. ఈ సినిమా కు దర్శకుడు ఎవరు నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ఏంటీ అనే పూర్తి వివరాలు అతి త్వరలో రాబోతున్నట్లుగా ప్రకటించారు. మొత్తానికి ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రేక్షకుల్లో ఆసక్తిని రేకెత్తిస్తోంది.
ఆ రెండు విషయాలపై ఒక్క ఫొటోతో క్లారిటీ ఇచ్చేసిన ‘ఆదిపురుష్’
పాన్ ఇండియా మూవీ ఆదిపురుష్ లో రాముడిగా ప్రభాస్ రావణుడిగా సైఫ్ అలీ ఖాన్ నటిస్తున్నట్లుగా అధికారికంగా ప్రకటన వచ్చింది. కాని గత కొన్ని నెలలుగా సీత పాత్రలో ఎవరు లక్ష్మణుడిగా ఎవరు కనిపించబోతున్నారు అనే విషయమై సస్పెన్స్ గా ఉంది. కృతి సనన్ పేరు వినిపిస్తూ వచ్చింది కాని కన్ఫర్మ్ చేయక పోవడంతో పుకార్లే అయ్యి ఉంటాయని అనుకున్నారు. కీర్తి సురేష్ పేరును కూడా పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్లుగా వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. కాని చివరకు కృతి శెట్టి పేరును కన్ఫర్మ్ చేస్తూ అధికారిక ప్రకటన వచ్చేసింది.
ఇక లక్ష్మణుడి పాత్రకు గాను బాలీవుడ్ యంగ్ హీరోల పేర్లు చాలా వినిపించాయి. చివరకు ఈ సినిమాలో లక్ష్మణుడిగా సన్నీ సింగ్ ను ఎంపిక చేసినట్లుగా అధికారిక ప్రకటన వచ్చింది. కృతి సనన్ మరియు సన్నీ సింగ్ తో ప్రభాస్ కలిసి ఉన్న ఫొటోలు ప్రస్తుతం సోషల్ మీడియాలో ట్రెండ్డింగ్ లో ఉన్నాయి. ఒక్క ఫొటోతో గత రెండు మూడు నెలలుగా జోరుగా ప్రచారం జరుగుతూ ఎంతో మంది జుట్టు పీక్కునేలా చేసిన రెండు ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానం లభించింది. ఓం రౌత్ ఈ సినిమా ను ఇప్పటికే శరవేగంగా చిత్రీకరణ జరుపుతున్నాడు. అతి త్వరలోనే షూటింగ్ పార్ట్ ను ముగించే అవకాశం కూడా కనిపిస్తుంది. వచ్చే ఏడాది ఆగస్టులో ఈ సినిమా విడుదల కాబోతున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. విజువల్ వండర్ గా ఈ సినిమాను చూపించేందుకు దాదాపుగా 350 కోట్ల రూపాయలను విజువల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ కోసం ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నారని వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju accepted and re-challenged Peddireddy!!
YCP leader, Narasaraopet MP Raghuramkrishnan Raju has targeted YCP ministers and is making criticisms against them. Raghuram Krishnam Raju said that he did not come to YCP by himself.
MP Raghurama Krishnaraja said that he have joined the YCP as the supremacy pleaded with him. He said that he is accepting the challenge given by Minister Peddireddy. If he resigned and contested and won again, he said that Jagan should sack his government and should contest again and win his MLAs.
Earlier, Minister Peddireddy severely criticized Raghurama Krishnaraja. Minister Peddireddy challenged Raghuram, who won from the YCP party, to resign as an MP and win again. Responding to the minister’s challenge, Raghuram Raju accepted and re-challenged Peddireddy. It remains to be seen what kind of reaction will come from the YCP leaders on the MP’s comments.
BJP MP Subramanyaswamy is planning to contest from AP ??

BJP firebrand MP Subramanyaswamy created a sensation in Andhra Pradesh state politics with his sudden visit to AP. He initially had a peaceful darshan of Venkateswara Swamy in Tirupathi ad then he moved to CM’s residence along with the chairman of TTD.
After meeting CM Jagan, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy spoke to the media and made key remarks on the privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel plant.
Subramanya Swamy, on the other hand, filed an Rs. 100 crore defamation suit against Telugu daily, Andhra Jyothi on behalf of TTD. He said it was not right for Andhra Jyothi to damage the reputation of TTD.
Against this background, a lot of speculations are airing in AP regarding Swamy’s sudden visit. Many are of the opinion that Swamy, who is not sure about BJP giving ticket to him this time as he becomes a major critic of Modi policies, is planning to contest from AP and this is the sole reason behind why he criticized Babu and praised Jagan.
As per critics, Swamy’s entire trip was sponsored by the AP govt.
Acclaimed director S.P. Jananathan admitted in ICU
Renowned director SP Jananathan has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai after he was found in an unconscious state on Thursday (March 11) in his room.
As per hospital sources, the health of the director is in critical condition and he is also said to be brain dead. His family members are waiting for a neurosurgeon to confirm further treatment.
SP Jananathan was involved with the editing work of his upcoming film Laabam when he was found unconscious in the room. Laabam stars Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Meanwhile, fans and followers of Jananathan now wish him a speedy recovery on social media.
SP Jananthan made his debut with Iyyarkai in 2003 and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil in 2004. He also directed Jiiva’s E (2006), Jayam Ravi’s Peranmai (2009) and Arya-Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai (2015).
NCPCR ordains Netflix to ban ‘Bombay Begums’ web series
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has ordained Netflix to stop streaming Alankrita Shrivastava’s show Bombay Begums. Two Twitter users denounced few controversial scenes related to the film’s youngest protagonist (Aadhya Anand), which soon grabbed NCPCR’s attention.
Bombay Begum depicts the story of five women whose lives- and battles they face in Mumbai. It is Netflix India’s six part web series that premiered on International Women’s day. A plethora of unaddressed issues- loveless marriages, infidelity, infertility and surrogacy; boardroom politics and work place sexual harassment, teenage depression, substance abuse and alternate sexualities were portrayed.
“We have sought stopping the streaming of Bombay Begums over the inappropriate portrayal of children in the series,’’ NCPCR chairperson Priyank Kanoongo stated. Netflix has been given 24 hours from the time of the notice to delete Bombay Begums from its repertoire.
Netflix chose to remain silent on the issue. However, one of the actress from the series asserted, ‘inappropriate portrayal of children’ is such a nebulous term. Is the Commission aware of what happens at the rave parties that teenagers regularly attend?”, she questioned. The actress added that these are the issues that need to be addressed in the society and for which one should in fact telecast on screen and downright condemned the child rights commission, who claimed that it doesn’t exist.
Kriti Sanon & Sunny Singh on board for Prabhas’ Adipurush
After a much-needed wait, the speculations finally ended with the official announcement from the makers of Prabhas’ Adipurush. Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh become the latest Bollywood stars to join in the cast of Adipurush helmed by filmmaker Om Raut.
Kriti has been roped in to play the female lead ‘Sita’ opposite Prabhas, and Sunny Singh has been signed to essay his younger brother’s role ‘Lakshman’ in this historical drama. We already know Saif Ali Khan is essaying the role of villain in the magnum opus.
While there were rumours many rumours regarding the female lead, Kriti Sanon’s has been locked to star opposite the Baahubali actor.
The 3D action drama Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, where Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Ram. The film is being shot in Hindi and Telugu and will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada as well. It will hit the theatres on August 11, 2022.

Allu Arjun showers praise on Jathi Ratnalu Team
Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna starrer ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, which hit the screen on Thursday (March 11), is garnering positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The comedy-drama kept the cash registers ringing at the Telugu states box office.
Now, Stylish star Allu Arjun took to Twitter to shower praises on the team of Jathi Ratnalu. Bunny watched the film last night and said that he hasn’t laughed so much in recent years that much. He penned some encouraging words for the stars in the film.
Talking about the main lead Naveen, Bunny said the former rocked the show with a stellar performance. “Rise of a new age stunning performer,” he tweeted.Calling Rahul brilliant and effortless, he complimented Priyadarshi and Faria Abdullah.
“My respect to the producers @nagashwin7, @swapnacinema #priyankacdutt and Dutt garu for their conviction. And last and the most important my respect to the director @anudeepfilm for entertaining everyone. Everybody switch off your brains, watch the movie and enjoy the funnnn”, he added in his tweet.
Jathi Ratnalu also features Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Naresh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. The film has music composed by Radhan and camera cranked by Siddam Manohar.
Box Office: Jathi Ratnalu off to a sensational start on Day-1
Jathi Ratnalu got off to a sensational start at the box office, all thanks to the pre-release buzz built up by the movie unit with good promotions and an impressive trailer.
Jathi Rathanlu has collected Rs 3.82 crores share on its opening day in the Telugu states and this is a remarkable feat.

Nizam: Rs 1.45 crores
Ceeded: Rs 0.55 crores
Uttharandhra: Rs 0.50 crores
Guntur: Rs 0.39 crores
East: Rs 0.29 crores

Total: Rs 3.82 crores
These are exceptionally good numbers and with a positive word of mouth, the film is expected have a fruitful weekend at the box office this weekend.
Jathi Rathnalu has Naveen Polishetty, Faria Abdullah, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Priyadarshi in the lead roles. Anudeep KV directed the film and Nag Ashwin produced it.
Sukumar signs young hero for his next project
Sukumar co-produced Uppena in association with Mythri Movie Makers and the film turned out to be a money-spinner at the box office. The star director is full of energy now and he has already lined up another exciting project.As per latest announcement, Sukumar will be producing a project with young hero Kartikeya who is awaiting the release of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga.
Sukumar already has a story in mind that would suit Kartikeya and he will also be providing the dialogues and screenplay for this project. It will be bankrolled under Sukumar Writings banner.The star director is yet to finalize the director of the project and the final call regarding the same will be taken in a couple of months time. It is said that the regular shooting will commence from November this year.
Apart from Kartikeya’s project, Sukumar is also producing two other films namely 18 Pages and SDT15 which are in various stages of production.Meanwhile, Sukumar is helming Allu Arjun’s Pushpa which is being promoted as a pan-India project. He sure is a busy man these days
