ప్రస్తుతం కీర్తి సురేష్ నటించిన రెండు తెలుగు సినిమాలు రిలీజ్ కి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాయి. అలాగే.. కోలీవుడ్లో సెల్వ రాఘవన్ తో కలిసి నటించిన ‘సానికాయుధం’ సినిమా కూడా రిలీజ్ కి సిద్ధమవుతోంది. మరో వైపు సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబుతో ‘సర్కారు వారి పాట’ సినిమాలోనూ చేస్తోంది. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ ఇప్పటికే స్టార్ట్ అయ్యింది.

Controversies surround KCR’s favourite temple

What is happening in Yadagirigutta temple? The temple, which CM KCR promised would be modeled as the second Tirupati, is causing controversy after controversy. Initially, there were questions about the quality of construction. Later, there were questions about the Hindu agamas being set aside while constructing the temple. After that there was a controversy over etching of KCR’s image on one of the pillars of the temple.

Now, the differences over rituals and traditions are threatening to blow out into a major controversy. The Sthanacharya of the temple Sandugula Raghavacharya has resigned over the errors in performing rituals and practicing traditions in the temple. Raghavacharya has serious differences with the chief priest Nallantighal Lakshminarasimhacharya. Both the acharyas had fiery arguments over this issue following which Raghavacharya has sent in his resignation. Though the temple authorities tried to patch up the differences, Raghavacharya was unrelenting. On Wednesday, his resignation had to be accepted.

Meanwhile, in another development, Ramprasad, a priest in the Yadadri temple was removed from service for performing black magic and duping devotees in the name of performing special poojas. A spate of controversies is besmirching the prestige of this important temple of late.

BJP’s ‘medical’ army to counter TRS?

The ruling TRS in Telangana is alarmed at the move of its chief rival, the BJP, to mobilize the nurses and doctors. The BJP is reportedly trying to channelize the anger and frustration among the medical fraternity over the TRS government’s insensitive attitude towards them. With the elections to the Graduates Constituencies round the corner, this could upset the TRS apple-cart.

If sources are to be believed, there are over 40000 medical and paramedical staff members in the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates Constituency that will go to polls soon. Similarly, there are around 15000 such voters in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda constituency. The BJP is planning to set up medical cells to mobilize these voters. The cell would be headed by senior doctors with BJP leanings. They will sensitise the medical fraternity and make them vote for the BJP.

The nursing fraternity is upset that the government has not constituted the nursing directorate so far. Similarly, though the TPPSC has issued notification for nursing posts three years ago, not one has been filled. Similarly, there is no talk of regularizing the temporary staff. All these are making the nursing and medical community angry and their anger could be reflected in the upcoming elections. So, TRS is worried as to how to counter the BJP aggression in mobilizing the medical fraternity.

Will double-deckers be back on Hyderabad roads?

Old-timers in Hyderabad still fondly remember the majestic double-decker buses that rode on the roads of the city. They were an eye-feast and offered an unforgettable experience to the commuters. Especially, double-decker rides on roads like Tankbund road were a great experience.

The double-deckers, introduced in 1972, were a common feature on Hyderabad roads for about 32 years. Later, they slowly disappeared. However, recently KTR suggested to Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay to consider bringing them back on Hyderabad roads. Accordingly, 25 new buses are likely to be introduced in the twin cities. The government is already finalizing the bidding process for buying new buses. A pre-bid meeting would be held on February 18, sources said. The last date for submitting the tenders would be February 25.

RTC sources said that the double-decker buses would be plied on Hyderabad-Medchal via Suchitra, Secunderabad-Patancheru via Balanagar, CBS to Jeedimetla via Ameerpet and Afzalgunj to Mehadipatnam routes.

TS Government announces incentives for electric vehicles

The Telangana government led by Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, which is not leaving any stone unturned to develop the state in all aspects has focused on encouraging electric vehicle manufacture and usage.As part of this, the government has announced Telangana Electric and Energy Storage Policy 2022-30. Under the Policy, the first 2 lakh electric vehicles in the state will get incentives.

To encourage the usage of electric vehicles, three-wheelers and three-seater auto-rickshaws, electric four-wheelers, tourist cabs, and other vehicles will not be charged by road tax and registration fee as part of the incentives.Out of the first two lakh electric vehicles in the states, the two-wheelers will be completely barred from road tax and registration fees. They need not pay a single penny for the registration process and road tax.

On the other hand, 15 percent of the retro-fitment cost will be provided to the three-seater electric auto-rickshaws. However, Rs 15,000 was fixed per vehicle under the incentives.The government has decided to waive off the road tax and registration fees for other vehicles like tractors, buses, and other vehicles.

The main agenda behind announcing these incentives is to curb the ait pollution and save the environment. If the consumers opt for electric vehicles, people can enjoy a pollution-free environment.

Ahead of the much-awaited Tamil Nadu 2021 Assembly elections, expelled AIADMK leader, a confidante of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalithaa, VK Sasikala was released from the Parappana Agrahara Prison in the Karnataka capital after she completed four years of jail imprisonment.

Given her health condition, she underwent treatment at the famous Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru. After she recovered, the hospital authorities discharged her from the facility. However, she has been advised by the doctors to take a rest for a few days in Bengaluru.

Now it is said that Sasikala, popularly known as Chinnamma is all set to arrive in Tamil Nadu on the seventh of this month. Her fans are expected to welcome her with a bang.According to the schedule, after reaching Tamil Nadu, Chinnamma will visit the memorial of Jayalalithaa, aka AMMA. Chinnamma is expected to pay tributes at the memorials of other noted leaders CN Annadurai and MG Ramachandran too.

On the occasion of her return to Tamil Nadu, the elaborate arrangements to welcome her grandly are underway reportedly. Sasikala is likely to receive a dreamy reception on her return.However, Chinnamma and her nephew, Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary TTV Dhinakaran faced a rude shock with the move of the ruling EPS-OPS duo.

Ahead of her return to Tamil Nadu, the government has announced that Jayalalithaa’s Memorial will be temporarily closed as work is going on inside the museum complex.It has to be noted that the site where the museum works are going on was the resting place of former CM Jayalalithaa. Surprisingly, the site was the last place Sasakila visited before going to prison.

Now it is interesting to know, whether Sasikala and Dhinakaran will obey the decision of the government and restrict themselves from visiting the memorial or go ahead with their schedule.

Dr. Rajasekhar who was affected with Coronavirus and got hospitalized has recovered completely. He is all set to bounce back into the sets of his upcoming films. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers of his 91st film have released the first look poster. Titled as ‘Sekhar’, the regular shooting of this flick begins from the 3rd week of February.

The senior hero is seen with grey hair and beard in this poster. He looks quite intense and aggressive which brings decent buzz over the film. Debutant Lalith is directing this project. He worked as the Chief Associate Director to Krish and Krishna Vamsi in the past.

Anup Rubens is composing music for this film which is presented by veteran filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja. It is produced under ‘Lakshya Productions’ and ‘Pegasus Cine Corp’ banners. Central government warns Twitter over unbans hateful tweets on farmers’s protests

The farmers’ protests against the farm laws introduced by the Central Government have not gone down well with the majority of farmers of the country. As a result, many have been protesting against the laws ever since they were announced.

Twitter has been at the center of these protests for a little while now, with many tweets pouring in, which are more demeaning towards the Central Government, than supporting towards the farmers. The government had already warned those in question, to be more aware of their actions as severe repercussions would follow them if they kept on demeaning the CG.

The CG said that actions on lines of the social media policy would be taken against those responsible for spreading hatred. The CG even blocked as many as 100 accounts and 150 tweets that were downright outrageous and instilled a great deal of hatred.

Twitter unblocked these accounts and tweets though, without the permission of the Central Government. This greatly enraged the government, which has stated in retaliation to Twitter, that Twitter was just a medium for everyone, and that if this continues, legal actions would have to be taken against Twitter.

The protests against farm laws took a new turn on Republic day, when farmers from Punjab infiltrated the Red Fort, and unfurled a flag that is not the Indian flag.

Self-proclaimed Godman and Bigg Boss 10 Fame Swami Om passed away on Wednesday (February 3) morning. He breathed his last at his residence in Ghaziabad.Swami Om had Covid-19 three months ago and was unwell for the last few months, following which the 63-year-old had some illnesses and was undergoing treatment at a Delhi hospital.

Reports revealed that Swami Om’s condition deteriorated and was paralysed a few days ago, post which he passed away. His last rites were performed today at 1:30 pm in Nigam Bodh Ghat, Delhi.Swami Om participated in the tenth season of Bigg Boss. He was mired with controversies inside the house and thrown out of the show after he splashed his urine on co-contestants Rohan Mehra and Bani J.
