Pawan Kalyan Stresses Development Over Welfare in Andhra Pradesh

Share

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan addressed a massive public gathering today, emphasizing the difference between development and welfare while outlining his vision for Andhra Pradesh.

He explained that true progress occurs when fewer people rely on welfare schemes, and governments should prioritize employment creation and social development over handouts. Kalyan noted that development generates opportunities and improves living standards, whereas welfare can foster dependence.

He also highlighted the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, pointing out that despite challenges, funds are being allocated for development projects and roadways—an example of responsible governance. Kalyan urged the youth to become politically aware and vigilant so that any politician attempting wrongdoing faces consequences.

His speech was widely seen as informative, progressive, and focused on empowering people through sustainable development rather than temporary welfare.

Share

Bhagyashri Bhorse, one of the promising young actresses in the industry, is eagerly awaiting her first big success. After a string of unsuccessful films including Mr Bachchan, Kingdom, and Kaantha, she is pinning her hopes on Andhra King Taluka, which is set to release tomorrow. This release could mark a turning point in her career.

Bhagyashri was appreciated for her glamour and dance performances in Mr Bachchan, but the film’s overall failure overshadowed her talent. She then took on a notable opportunity in Kingdom, but her role and the film itself failed to leave a mark. Her latest release, Kaantha, came out a few weeks ago, where she earned praise for her performance, yet the film flopped, adding to her streak of setbacks.

With Andhra King Taluka, Bhagyashri hopes to finally achieve the success she has been seeking. The pre-release buzz has been positive, and the promotional material has been well-received by audiences. Now, all eyes are on tomorrow’s release to see if Bhagyashri can secure her long-awaited breakthrough.

Keerthy Suresh Highlights Health Impact of Long Film Shifts

Share

Keerthy Suresh has added her voice to the ongoing debate about long work shifts in the film industry, highlighting the toll it takes on actors and technicians alike. Following comments by Deepika Padukone and Rashmika Mandanna, Keerthy explained in detail how 9-6 and extended work schedules affect health and daily routines.

She shared her personal experience, recalling how she balanced multiple films at once during Mahanati, including Agnyathavaasi, Saami 2, Sandakozhi 2, Sarkar, and TSK. “There was a time when I would shoot one film in the morning and another at night. I have done all kinds of shifts,” she said. Keerthy described a typical 9-6 schedule, where actors must reach the set around 7:30 am, start shooting by 9 am, wrap by 6-6:30 pm, and reach home by 8:15-8:30 pm. Following workouts, dinner, and personal time, bedtime often comes only around 11-11:30 pm, giving just six hours of sleep. Extended 9-9 shifts further reduce rest to 4-5 hours, not accounting for technicians and crew who start earlier and finish later.

She also noted differences across industries, explaining that while Telugu and Tamil films usually maintain a 9-6 shift, Hindi and Malayalam productions often have 12-hour schedules. In Malayalam cinema, the tight timelines mean people sometimes get only 3-4 hours of sleep. Keerthy emphasized that clear explanations like hers are necessary to contextualize these debates and reduce misinterpretation on social media.

On the work front, Keerthy Suresh will next appear in Revolver Rita, scheduled for a worldwide release in Tamil and Telugu on November 28.

Renu Desai Makes a Joyful Comeback with 16 Days of Festival

Share

Renu Desai is making headlines again, signaling what seems like a proper comeback. After her last film, Tiger Nageswar Rao, she stepped away from the limelight for two years to focus on her health. That film’s underperformance also contributed to her hiatus. Now, she appears healthier, more relaxed, and genuinely excited about returning to work. Sharing new pictures from her upcoming project, she captioned them, “And the పదహారు రోజుల పండుగ fun begins🥳😻.”

In the photos, Renu is all smiles in a bright red saree, taking a selfie with the team during the pooja ceremony. The film, titled 16 Days of Festival, is directed by Sai Kiran Adivasi and produced by D. S. Rao’s son, Krishna Dammalapati. The ensemble cast includes Anasuya Bharadwaj, Krishnadudu, Parvatheesham, Kerintha Bhavana, and Satya Krishna. Judging by the vibrant energy in the pictures, the film may lean towards comedy, though no official confirmation has been made.

The launch took place today, and a group selfie featuring the hero, heroine, Anasuya, and Renu is already circulating on social media. So far, Renu has acted in just four films: Badri (2000), the Tamil film James Pandu, Johnny, and Tiger Nageswar Rao after nearly two decades. This upcoming project will mark her fifth film. At 43, she looks content and genuinely happy to be back on set.

Prabhas Fans Criticize Ramajogayya Sastry Over ‘The Raja Saab’ Lyrics

Share

Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry has faced severe criticism from Prabhas fans for the lyrics of the first single from the actor’s upcoming film The Raja Saab. Fans described the lines as amateurish and felt they fell short of the expectations set by a big-budget Prabhas project.

In response to the backlash, Ramajogayya tweeted: “Katha, sandarbham, director vision thaginattu paata untundhi. Prathi paata elevation ayinaa bore koduthundhi kadha. Adhe kaavaalante marosari raasukundhaam. Mana daggara leni saruka enti; mana darling kosamegaa.” The phrase “Mana daggara leni saruka enti” in particular drew ire, with many netizens interpreting it as arrogant.

Several fans expressed their displeasure online. Some commented, “Don’t overrate yourself. Learn to be humble. Your so-called ‘saruku’ is nothing compared to great poets like Seetharama Sastry, Veturi, and Chandrabose. Even newer lyricists are writing better than you.” Others wrote, “Elevation or feel-good, whatever the genre, lyrics must be catchy enough to sing along. If there’s another song, please write better lyrics this time,” and “Sirivennela Sitaramasastry garu wrote lines like ‘height enthuntaado kolavalani pisthe…’ and ‘mechanical lab lo metals ku rekulu…’. On the other side, you wrote ‘chalore chalore chal…’. There should be variation, guruji.” Some fans even asked bluntly, “Lyrics meeru raasaraa? Mi abbayi raasaraa? All experiments should be on us only aa?” while others criticised, “If a song gets praise, Ramajogayya takes credit. If it flops, he blames the director’s vision. A big escapist.”

This is not the first time Ramajogayya has been trolled. Previously, Mahesh Babu fans reacted angrily to a tweet that allegedly referred to fans as “dogs.” He also sparked controversy with remarks about Devara and Acharya, which some interpreted as jabs at the mega fan community.

Unlike previous incidents, this backlash is focused directly on his professional work as a lyricist. Fans feel that given the high expectations surrounding a Prabhas film, Ramajogayya must put in more effort and prove himself.

Kalvakuntla Kavitha Challenges BRS Leadership Amid Electoral Setbacks

Share

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) continues to navigate a turbulent political phase, marked by back-to-back electoral setbacks and rising internal friction. After losing power to the Congress in the 2023 Assembly elections and failing to secure even a single seat in the subsequent Lok Sabha polls, the party faced yet another blow with its defeat in the recent Jubilee Hills by-election.

While this string of losses has undoubtedly dented party morale, the bigger concern for the leadership is the sharp criticism coming from within—particularly from party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and Telangana Jagruthi chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha.

In their attempts to counter Kavitha’s political re-emergence, several BRS leaders appear to have unintentionally amplified her influence. Their frequent remarks targeting her have, according to political observers, only strengthened her visibility and narrative.

The situation escalated after senior leader and former minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy made controversial comments, likening Kavitha to a “rotten brinjal” and using an offensive metaphor about something “bursting.” Kavitha responded with a sharp retort, warning that such remarks could “boomerang” and issuing what she termed a “mass warning.” Her assertive stance has put several BRS leaders on the defensive.

Adding to the tension, Kavitha has been strategically linking every attack against her to the faction associated with senior leader T. Harish Rao. This has placed Harish Rao and his supporters in a politically awkward position. Party insiders suggest that Kavitha’s long-term goal may be to corner Harish Rao, but her aggressive approach has left many within the party uneasy.

With the BRS already struggling to regain its footing, leaders fear that continued internal power struggles could further weaken the party at a critical juncture.

Revanth Reddy & Allu Arjun to Attend Akhanda 2 Pre-Release Event

Share

If industry buzz is anything to go by, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is likely to attend the pre-release event of Akhanda 2, headlined by Nandamuri Balakrishna. The grand celebration is scheduled to take place in Kukatpally on November 28.

Adding to the star power, Allu Arjun is also expected to grace the occasion, provided plans fall into place. The Stylish Star has kept a low profile at major events ever since the unfortunate stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre last year, after which he was briefly taken into custody before being released on bail.

Earlier this year, Allu Arjun received the Best Actor Gadar Award from CM Revanth Reddy for his impactful performance in Pushpa: The Rule. His powerful dialogue delivery from the film at the ceremony became a highlight. This weekend’s event will mark the first time in a while that the Chief Minister will share the stage with Allu Aravind’s second son.

Balakrishna and Allu Arjun previously entertained fans with their lively chemistry during a special screening of Unstoppable. Their playful banter went viral across social media platforms, with the episode recording impressive TRP ratings at the time.

Naveen Polishetty Turns Singer for Anaganaga Oka Raju

Share

Actor Naveen Polishetty, who stars opposite Meenakshi Chaudhary in director Vamsi’s upcoming romantic comedy Anaganaga Oka Raju, has taken on an exciting new role — that of a singer. The versatile actor is set to make his playback singing debut with the film’s first single, “Bhimvaram Balma.”

On Tuesday, Naveen shared a humorous announcement video on X, revealing his big step into singing. Posting the clip, he wrote:
“ANNAGANAGA OKA SINGER JAANEJIGARS. First song from #AnaganagaOkaRaju releasing on Nov 27. Sankranthiki pandaga ki dance stepulatho ready ga undandi. It’s time for #BhimvaramBalma.”
The clip confirms that the song will be unveiled on November 27, marking Naveen’s first-ever venture as a playback singer.

Anaganaga Oka Raju, produced by Sithara Entertainments, is set against a festive backdrop with Naveen portraying Raju — an overconfident yet charming bridegroom preparing for his wedding. The film promises a colourful mix of romance, humour, and celebration.

The project has been in the spotlight for quite some time, with multiple updates and changes along the way. While the initial teaser hinted at a 2025 release, the makers later announced that the film will now hit theatres on January 14, 2026, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.

With its first single Bhimvaram Balma ready to set the festive mood, fans are eagerly looking forward to more glimpses from this vibrant rom-com.

Rakul Preet Opens Up on SPYder Failure Impact

Share

Sensational actress Rakul Preet Singh opened up in a recent interview about how the failure of SPYder left a personal impact on her. At the time, she was on cloud nine after bagging the opportunity to work alongside Mahesh Babu under the direction of AR Murugadoss. However, the film’s unexpected debacle at the box office came as a huge disappointment.

SPYder was heavily trolled, especially for its second-half proceedings. Rakul revealed that she had high expectations when she signed the project, but its failure made her realise that many things in cinema are beyond an actor’s control. She clarified that she doesn’t consider it her failure, but admitted that the film’s outcome did affect her emotionally.

Rakul added that the experience taught her an important lesson — that failure is an inevitable part of the journey.

“I am not someone who lets sadness consume me. I believe failures make us stronger and more aware. I asked myself how I could do better the next time. At the end of the day, all we can do is make films and move forward. Success is never in our hands. I learned to disconnect from the results. Even when a film doesn’t work, I celebrate myself because I know I gave my best,” she shared.

On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.
