Special Court sentences 15 years imprisonment to Mumbai attacks mastermind
Wanted terrorist and the mastermind behind the series of terrorist attacks in Mumbai dubbed as 26/11 Mumbai terror attack who was arrested in early January was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.The anti-terrorism court in Lahore which heard the petition pertaining to the terror attacks sentenced 15 years of jail imprisonment to Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi on the charges of terror financing.
After the Mumbai terror attack, Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi was proscribed as a terrorist by the United Nations. He was on a bail in the terror attack case since 2015.Based on the information, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab province arrested Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi on Saturday.
The News Agency PTI quoted a court official as saying, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore hearing the case sentenced 15 years imprisonment for Lakshvi under various sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.It has to be noted that a Pakistan court slapped Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar with an arrest warrant. The warrant was issued on the charges of terror financing.
All these developments took place ahead of the much-awaited review meeting of the intergovernmental organisation Financial Action Task Force.The Financial Action Task Force meeting will be held in February 2021 to discuss the demand of including Pakistan in the grey list on the grounds of misuse of funds for acts of terrorism.

If it wasn’t for the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown which resulted in delay in film shootings, Rajamouli’s magnum opus project RRR would have hit the big screens across the globe today, 8th January.
Earlier in 2020, the makers of RRR had announced that the film would release in theatres on 8th January, 2021. But the onset of Covid-19 pandemic led to a change of plans and RRR has been indefinitely postponed consequently.
Now, the fans of Jr NTR and Ram Charan are trending RRR movie topic on Twitter.
A few excited followers of RRR are saying that they would have been enjoying the film in theatres by this time if things hadn’t taken steep turns early last year.
There are rumors that RRR shoot might be wrapped up by March or April this year and the makers will be officially announcing the release date in the next few months.
Balayya Babu says, he will meet CM Jagan very soon
Actor-turned-politician and TDP Politburo Member Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently touring in his Assembly constituency Hindupur to interact with the locals and farmers to know the problems they are facing.After taking note of the problems being faced by the Hindupur locals, the Legend actor told that some of the problems faced by them should be reached to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
To bring the unsolved problems faced by the Hindupur people to the notice of the Chief Minister, Balakrishna said he would meet CM Jagan and see that the issues are solved.Adding further, Nandamuri Balakrishna said the ruling YSRCP government is not concerned about the farmers in the state and the issues they are being faced with, unlike their government.
Balayya said during their government(TDP) this was not the scene and the government used to resolve the issues faced by the problems and the seeds were supplied to the farmers.Balayya Babu’s comments on meeting CM Jagan came days after he has breathed fire on the attacks on the Hindu temples and said the hands of the culprits should be chopped off.
Andhra Pradesh registers all-time low Covid-19 fatalities in 24 hours
When the Coronavirus vaccination drive to cure the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic is expected to start very soon, the Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Department came up with a piece of good news.The Health Department said that Andhra Pradesh has registered all-time low fatalities related to the Covid-19. One person breathed his life battling the virus in the past 24 house. 7,12 people have succumbed to the virus in the state so far.
Looking at the fresh Coronavirus infections, not less than 319 new cases were detected in the past 24 hours, which takes the total toll of the infections in the state to 8,84,490.Though the fresh cases witnessing a sharp rise compared to Thursday, the fatalities being restricted to the recent low gives hope of beating the respiratory disease.
On the other hand, 308 patients have been declared cured of the pandemic in the past 24 hours. So far, a total of 8,74,531 patients have been recovered from the virus. The active cases stood at 2,835.The health bulletin says, so far a total of 1,22,24,202 samples have been tested in the state to detect the pandemic, while 59,671 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut faced a brutal shock after a magistrate’s court in Bandra issued directives to the cops to instigate an inquiry against her and her sister Rangoli Chandel.The sister duo is facing allegations of creating hatred and communal violence through their social media posts.
Following the court orders, the Manikarnika actress reached the Bandra police station on Friday and recorded her statement over the sedition and other charges.She reached the police station around 1 PM. She was accompanied by her sister Rangoli Chandel and her advocate. Upon arriving at the police station, she has recorded her statement.
Before arriving at the police station, the actress took to the microblogging site Twitter and shared a video and alleged that she is being tortured mentally, emotionally, and physically.”Why am I being mentally, emotionally and now physically tortured? I need answers from this nation…. I stood for you it’s time you stand for me …Jai Hind,” Kangana Ranaut’s post on Twitter reads.
In the 1:30 minute-long video shared on Twitter, Kangana Ranaut alleged that she was being tortured, since she has started speaking for the interest of the nation and claimed that the whole nation could see that.She has listed out the problems she faced ever since she went loggerhead switch the government. Her house was broken and cases were filed against her as she spoke for the interest of the farmers, she alleged.

Namrata’s Sister Takes Corona Vaccine In UAE!
The Corona vaccine is slowly coming out in India and people are hopeful that it is going to be successful. It will be first given to people working on the frontline and older people as per reports. But Namrata Shirodkar’s sister Shilpa Shirodkar becomes the first Bollywood actress to take the vaccine shot.
The 51-year-old actress did not take the vaccine in India but in UAE. She posted a photo showing that she took the vaccine. She wrote, “Vaccinated and safe !! The new normal .. here I come 2021.” She even thanked UAE government and the officials for giving the vaccine.

After having a grand wedding in December 2020, Mega daughter Niharika Konidela is back to her work. She signed a new fantasy web series which has YouTuber Nikhil Vijayendra as the male lead. Directed and produced by Bhanu Rayudu, the untitled project got its official launch today in Hyderabad.

SSR: Natural Star Nani Eyeing On Pan India Market
Tollywood heroes are now eyeing to expand their market beyond the Telugu states. When Prabhas already became a Pan India star, Ram Charan and Jr NTR are confident that they would achieve that status with Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’.Allu Arjun, on the other hand, is making a big-budget project with Sukumar which has already grabbed the attention of various industries. Superstar Mahesh Babu is also set to do a film with Rajamouli, which happens to be a pan-India film.
Natural star Nani, who continues to be number one among Tier 2 heroes, is also now focusing on the Pan India market. The young actor is currently shooting for ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ under the direction of Rahul Sankrityan. Touted to be the costliest film in Nani’s career, the film is being made with a massive budget of Rs 40 crores. However, the makers haven’t announced yet whether the film will be released in other languages or not.
As per reports, the makers will take a call on this once the output is delivered as expected. Then it will be translated into all south Indian languages and Hindi.
