KCR’s Hospital Visit: Rumour Mill Goes Into A Tizzy
Telangana CM KCR’s sudden visit to a hospital for a medical checkup was the biggest news on Thursday. The political class went into a tizzy over the visit. There were wild guesstimates doing the rounds in the capital over whether this was part of a plan to prepare for the succession in the TRS.
Rumour mills went abuzz saying that KCR would cite the health issue and relinquish his post to make way for KTR to take over. There has been a buzz for quite some time that KTR would be anointed the chief minister while KCR would go on to play a key role at the national level. However, given the ascendance of the BJP at the national level as also at the state-level, there are serious doubts as to whether KTR would have any role at the national level.
However, by evening everything fell into place and this turned out to be a false alarm. KCR did have some lung infection and that he is otherwise hale and healthy. Also, it became clear that he needed some rest and that was it. So, the rumours died a natural death and KCR was back to Pragathi Bhavan.
Same Hacksaw Used For Three Temple Attacks
Strong evidence is emerging to show that the attacks on the temples are part of a major conspiracy to defame the government and to create communal discord in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, the attacks are all falling into a pattern.
The officials say that the same electrical saw used to decapitate the Lord Rama statue in Ramatirtham was used in other similar attacks in Rajamahendravaram and several other places. This shows that the same gang was involved in these attacks at different places, according to chief secretary Adityanath Das. He said that forces inimical to the State Government, which was in the forefront of undertaking welfare and developmental programmes, were resorting to these atrocities.
He pointed out that there were attacks on the temples even earlier. He said there were two attacks in 2017,three in 2018, one in 2019 and 29 in 2020. He also pointed out that at least six incidents that had happened in 2019 were being shown as latest incident. This shows the wrong motives of those peddling these stories.
The AP Government has issued GO No 6 to form all-religion committees to ensure that there are no further attacks on the Hindu temples. As part of this committees would be formed at various levels to visit any places where such incidents happen. The chief secretary also strongly decried the attempts to impart motives to government officials on the basis of their religion.He said that the Government officials work for the welfare of the people regardless of the caste, creed, region and religion.
PIL Filed To Remove Amitabh Bachchan’s Voice From Caller Tune
Since from the beginning of the pandemic in India, the central government has been taking several safety measures and promoting the Covid-19 awareness through various medium.It is known that Amitabh Bachchan’s voice is heard as a caller tune for a long time. Now, a PIL has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking removal of Bachchan’s COVID-19 awareness caller tune.
The petition was filed by Delhi resident and social worker Rakesh saying that the star actor and his family couldn’t escape the pandemic, but making people aware of preventive measures to fight the pandemic. On Thursday, the plea was heard before a bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh.
The plea said the government of India has been paying fees to Mr Bachchan for spreading preventive measures on the caller ringtone while some famous corona warriors were willing to give their services for free.The petitioner said he approached the authorities in November 2020 in this regard but no reply was given to him after which he moved the court with the grievance. The bench has now listed the matter for January 18.
Pawan-Rana’s AK Remake To Kickstart From This Date!
The Telugu remake of Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum has been in the new for a long time now. The remake will star Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles under the direction of Sagar Chandra. Popular director Trivikram is overseeing the script and currently penning the screenplay and dialogues of the film.
The latest we hear is the first schedule of AK remake will kick-start from the 20th of January. As per reports, the makers are currently erecting a sumptuous lodge set at the Aluminium Factory on the suburbs of Hyderabad. Both the actors will shoot here for nearly 25 days and some important scenes will be canned in this schedule.
The duo will reprise roles played by Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the original. Pawan will step into the shoes of Biju Menon while Rana plays Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character.Music director Thaman S is composing the music. Presented by PDV Prasad, the film will be produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sitara Entertainments.
Who Will Be Dushyanta In Samantha’s ‘Shaakuntalam’
Senior director Gunasekhar is fond of our Indian mythology and history. During his early days, he made ‘Bala Ramayanam’ featuring Jr NTR as Lord Ram. After making a few regular movies, he made a biopic on queen ‘Rudramadevi’ with the same title. He is also planning ‘Hiranyakashapa’ with Rana playing the title role.
He recently announced ‘Shaakuntalam’ which will show us the story of Shakuntala and her love story with Dushyanta. Star actress Samantha was roped in to play the Shankuntala in this big-budget film and sources say that Gunasekhar is on the lookout for an other language hero who has a pan-Indian appeal. Since Sam is a star in Tamil and Telugu, he is trying to get a star hero from either Malayalam or Kannada as per reports which makes it easy for the film to have a universal appeal.
Let us wait to find out who plays the role of Dushyanta in this movie. Mani Sharma is composing music while Gunasekhar himself is producing this flick.
Sankranti Vibes Are Finally Here With Two Big Updates!
Despite some crazy films releasing this Sankranti season, the audience are not entirely feeling the vibe as the usual hype and hungama surrounding this season is missing. It may due to the fear of the virus but there are no big updates or announcements for Tollywood.
But it looks like the scenario is changing now. After a thunderous ‘KGF 2’ teaser, a couple of our Tollywood films are coming up with announcements too which is making the fans quite excited. On the other hand, we have the teaser of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ coming out on 10th January at 10:08 AM. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead, the film has is arriving with decent expectations. The first glimpse and ‘Hey Pilla’ song were highly impressive and the makers released a poster where we can see Sai Pallavi whispering something in the ears of Chaitanya.

Renu Desai Clears Air About Her Role In Mahesh Babu’s FIlm
Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to join the sets of ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ from January end. The pre-production works are in full swing and MB is also prepping his looks for the character.Meanwhile, interesting speculation is making rounds that Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife and former actress Renu Desai is playing a key role in this Mahesh starrer. The superstar fans thought it was true to some extent as the film unit did not give any clarity. It was also heard that this combination is really perfect.
Finally, Renu Desai has broken her silence and clarified on these rumours. Desai said that she doesn’t know where these rumours are originated but they surprised her. A few weeks back, a similar kind of speculation went rife that Renu will be starring in Adivi Sesh’ Major film. However, she denied the rumours.Renu Desai has now made it clear that she is not part of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The yesteryear actress also said that she will notify her fans if she signs any projects in near future.

Bollywood macho hero to turn villain for Prabhas’s Salaar
Prabhas will be wrapping up Radhe Shyam very soon and he is expected to join the sets of Adipurush and Salaar by the end of this month or early next month.Coming to Salaar, the film has Prashnath Neel at the helm and the latter will set full focus on the project now that he has completed KGF 2.
As per latest buzz, Bollywood macho star John Abraham is apparently in talks for the antagonist role in Salaar.Prashanth Neel who prefers to pen strong antagonist characters has apparently designed a menacing role in Salaar as well. He wants to rope in an actor who can match Prabhas in terms of physique and screen presence, hence the decision to approach John Abraham.
Prabhas is one of the biggest superstars in the country presently and even John Abraham might respond positively to the the request of Salaar team.However, nothing is certain for now and John Abraham will be taking the final call in this regard sooner or later.
The makers of Salaar have commenced pre-production works already and are planning to kick-start regular shooting at the earliest.
Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 Teaser – Goosebumps Ka Baap
The very much anticipated teaser of KGF Chapter 2 has just landed on YouTube, much prior to its release time. It was initially supposed to have been released on YouTube tomorrow, at 10:18 AM, but has been released at 9:29 PM, due to several leaks.
The teaser is everything a fan of KGF would hope for, and so much more. It looks like a lot more about the lead’s (Rocky) backstory will be revealed in this installment. The action looks just as breathtaking as the previous one, and the cinematography is top notch, and stands out even more than the first one.
The way that Rocky is introduced in the teaser increases your anticipation, and while Sanjay Dutt‘s Adheera has not been shown fully, just his back shot will give you all the feels. Raveena Tandon seems to be playing a very powerful role as well.
On the whole, the teaser of KGF Chapter 2 gives you instant goosebumps, and gets your expectations higher than they already are, with its powerful punch.

ఎమ్మెల్యే రోజా, నాగబాబు కలిసి జబర్దస్త్ షో ను చాలా సంవత్సరాలు విజయవంతంగా నడిపారు. అసలు ఒక కామెడీ షో ఇంత సక్సెస్ అవుతుందని ఎవరూ అనుకోలేదు. దాదాపు ఏడేళ్లు జబర్దస్త్ నెం 1 ప్రోగ్రాం గా నిలుస్తూ వచ్చింది. అయితే వివిధ కారణాల వల్ల నాగబాబు ఈ షో నుండి తప్పుకున్నాడు.
జీ తెలుగు ఛానల్ లో అదిరింది, బొమ్మ అదిరింది అంటూ కామెడీ షోస్ ను మొదలుపెట్టాడు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాలకు నాగబాబు బ్యాక్ బోన్ గా నిలిచాడు. అయితే జబర్దస్త్ కు రోజా బ్యాక్ బోన్ గా నిలిచారు. నాగబాబు విడిచి వెళ్ళిపోయినా రోజా జబర్దస్త్ కు అన్నీ తానై వ్యవహరించారు.

KCR to undergo major tests at Yashoda!
It is well known that the health of Telangana Chief Minister KCR has not been keeping well for the past few months. He has been in and out of hospitals, and has been taking a lot of rest, with very limited public appearance.
According to the latest reports, KCR has been asked to undergo several tests at the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad, on Thursday afternoon. These tests include several diagnostic tests, after the CM complained of a burning sensation in his lungs.
His personal physician, pulmonologist and cardiologist have conducted the preliminary tests for the CM, after which they are said to have advised him to get an MRI and a CT scan, followed by several other tests.
What the problem could be is still unknown, but once the tests are done, and the reports are generated, the full picture may come out. However, what information will be given to the public has to be seen. For now, all we can hope is that the CM turns out to be healthy, without any major problems.
