సోనూసూద్పై ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన ముంబై అధికారులు
ముంబై: కష్టాల్లో ఉన్నవారికి కాదనకుండా సాయం చేసుకుంటూ పోతున్న రియల్ హీరో సోనూసూద్ వివాదంలో చిక్కుకున్నారు. తన నివాస స్థలాన్ని హోటల్గా మార్చినందుకు ముంబై అధికారులు ఆయన మీద పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. వివరాల్లోకి వెళితే.. సోనూకు ముంబైలోని జుహు ప్రాంతంలో శక్తి సాగర్ అనే పేరుతో ఆరంతస్థుల భవనం ఉంది. అధికారుల అనుమతులు తీసుకోకుండా దీన్ని హోటల్గా మార్చారంటూ బృహన్ముంబై మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్(బీఎంసీ) అధికారులు ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సదరు భవనానికి నోటీసులు పంపించారు. అయినా సరే తమ ఆదేశాలను ఏమాత్రం లెక్క చేయకుండా దాన్ని హోటల్గా రన్ చేయడంతో పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు.
అయితే నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా వ్యవహరించారన్న ఆరోపణలను సోనూసూద్ ఖండించారు. తన దగ్గర అన్ని అనుమతులు ఉన్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు. కేవలం ఎమ్సీజెడ్ఎమ్ఏ(మహారాష్ట్ర కోస్టల్ జోన్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ అథారిటీ) నుంచి మాత్రమే అనుమతులు రావాల్సి ఉందన్నారు. అది కూడా కోవిడ్-19 వల్ల ఆలస్యం అవుతుందన్నారు. ఒకవేళ అనుమతులు రాకపోతే దాన్ని తిరిగి నివాస సముదాయంగా మార్చేస్తానని చెప్పారు. మరోవైపు దీనిపై పోలీసులు స్పందిస్తూ ప్రాథమిక విచారణ చేపట్టాకే ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ నమోదు చేస్తామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇదిలావుంటే గతంలో బాలీవుడ్ ఫైర్బ్రాండ్ కంగనా రనౌత్ ఆఫీసును బీఎంసీ అధికారులు కూల్చిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా కార్యాలయాన్ని నిర్మించారనే ఆరోపణలతో బాంద్రాలోని ఆమె ఆఫీసును సగానికి పైగా నేలమట్టం చేశారు. దీన్ని ఆమె రూ. 48 కోట్లు వెచ్చించి కొనుగోలు చేశారు. కళ్ల ముందే తన కలల సౌధం కూలిపోవడంతో కంగనా ప్రభుత్వంపై మండిపడ్డారు. దీంతో ఆమెకు, శివసేన పార్టీకి మధ్య కొంతకాలం పాటు మాటల యుద్ధం జరిగింది.
KCR to undergo major tests at Yashoda!
It is well known that the health of Telangana Chief Minister KCR has not been keeping well for the past few months. He has been in and out of hospitals, and has been taking a lot of rest, with very limited public appearance.
According to the latest reports, KCR has been asked to undergo several tests at the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad, on Thursday afternoon. These tests include several diagnostic tests, after the CM complained of a burning sensation in his lungs.
His personal physician, pulmonologist and cardiologist have conducted the preliminary tests for the CM, after which they are said to have advised him to get an MRI and a CT scan, followed by several other tests.
What the problem could be is still unknown, but once the tests are done, and the reports are generated, the full picture may come out. However, what information will be given to the public has to be seen. For now, all we can hope is that the CM turns out to be healthy, without any major problems.
RRR unit to shoot a crucial song once Ram Charan returns
Ram Charan is currently home quarantining as he had tested positive for Covid-19 recently. He is expected to get back to full health very soon and he will join RRR shoot after he tests negative for the virus.
Incidentally, team RRR is planning to shoot a crucial song once Ram Charan is back on sets.
Apparently, Rajamouli wants to shoot a song which features the lead stars, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ram Charan as soon as Charan is fully fit and joins the unit.
This song will be shot on a lavish scale and it will hold a lot of prominence in the narrative of the film. Special arrangements are underway for the shooting purpose.
In all likelihood, Charan might join RRR unit from the end of this month and same might be the case with Alia Bhatt as well.
Rajamouli is hoping to complete RRR shoot by this summer so that Charan and Jr NTR can ahead with their future projects without much further delay.

Telangana High Court: Hima Kohli to take oath as Chief Justice today
HYDERABAD: Justice Hima Kohli will be sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court on January 7. She will be administered the oath of office by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at 11.30 am in Raj Bhavan. Besides the HC judges and registrars, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Cabinet colleagues are expected to attend the ceremony. Justice Kohli will be the first woman Chief Justice of Telangana HC, which came into existence on January 1, 2019, and Justice TBN Radhakrishnan was its first Chief Justice. In May 2019, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended the Centre to appoint Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan as the permanent Chief Justice. Justice Chauhan was functioning as the acting Chief Justice of TS High Court after transfer of Justice Radhakrishnan as Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court. On June 19, 2019, the Centre issued orders appointing Justice Chauhan as the regular CJ. Justice Hima Kohli of Delhi High Court was recently elevated as the new Chief Justice of Telangana HC and the Centre issued a notification for the same on December 31,2020.
Spl counselling for MBA, MCA admissions sought
The Telangana High Court, on Wednesday, directed the State government to tell whether it would conduct special counselling for admission into MBA and MCA courses for the students who are waiting for results of their semester examinations.A division bench passed this order in the PIL filed by Telangana Republican Party, represented by its students union leader A Anand, seeking conduct of special counselling for backlog students.Petitioner’s counsel N Yadishwar urged the court to declare the decision of State government to conduct TSICET-2020 for admission into MBA and MCA courses before announcing the backlog degree results of first to fifth semesters, which are expected to be announced by end of second week of this month, as illegal. After hearing the case, the bench asked the government counsel whether the State would conduct special counselling for the said students? In reply, government counsel Vani sought some time. In fact, there are several petitions pending before a single judge on the same issue and are expected to come up for hearing after the Sankranti vacation, she added. The bench then posted the matter to January 18 for further hearing.
TS told to respond on vaccines for judicial staff
The Telangana High Court has directed the State government to respond by Friday to the PIL seeking direction to the authorities concerned to administer Covid-19 vaccines to advocates and judicial staff on top priority basis since they frequently interact with people, particularly the litigants, fellow advocates and others on a daily basis. A division bench of Justice A Rajasheker Reddy and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy was dealing with the PIL which was taken up based on a letter addressed to the Chief Justice by Ponnam Ashok Goud, former High Court Advocates’ Association president and ex-Assistant Solicitor General of India. Maintaining the recommended physical distance is not possible in this profession, he noted in his letter. The bench posted the matter to January 8 for further hearing.
Anushka raises her voice against shutterbugs for invading her privacy
Actress Anushka Sharma in many instances had often raised her voice against the shutterbugs who secretly snap her photos. Now once again she posted a furious message on insta story on Wednesday night, after pictures of her and husband Virat Kohli relaxing on their balcony, were published online.

Ex-Andhra Pradesh Minister guided kidnappers all night
HYDERABAD: Former AP Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya was at her Banjara Hills residence on Tuesday night when international shuttler Praveen Rao and his brothers Sunil Rao and Naveen Rao were being kidnapped from their Bowenpally residence.
After confirming that they were picked up successfully, she moved to her other residence at Kukatpally in the wee hours. From the time of the kidnap till the victims were rescued and the accused fled, Akhila Priya was constantly monitoring their movements through her mobile phone.
The suspects, who had kidnapped the brothers, were also receiving instructions over phone. Police suspect that Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargav Ram was constantly in touch with the kidnappers. After the victims were taken to a family friend’s farmhouse at Moinabad, the suspects told them that “boss” would come and meet them, thereby forcing the brothers to sign the documents which looked like property agreements and some blank papers.
Police, who found that Akhila Priya was awake all night, confirmed her role in the kidnap and rushed teams to her Kukatpally residence. For long, she did not open the door and refused to meet the personnel. After a lot of compulsion, she stepped out and was taken to the police station.
Special set under construction for PK’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake
Pawan Kalyan is likely to join the sets of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake from the third week of this month and pre-production works are in full swing presently.
The art department is erecting a special set in Hyderabad now. This lodge set will be completed in a week or so and the shooting will commence soon after.
A sizeable portion of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake will be shot in this lodge set and both Pawan Kalyan and Rana will take part in this schedule.
After the Hyderabad schedule which is expected to go on for 20-25 days, the unit will be leaving to Pollachi, Kerala for the next schedule.
Sithara Entertainments are yet to officially announce the female lead but rumors are rife that Sai Pallavi has come on-board for the project.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is the story of rivalry between a straightforward cop and an egoistic ex-military lad. Both Pawan Kalyan and Rana will be joining the sets from the first schedule itself.
