Inside the Grand Udaipur Wedding of Netra Mantena & VThe internet is abuzz with conversations about the lavish Udaipur wedding of Netra Mantena, daughter of NRI industrialist Rama Raju Mantena, and tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju. Spanning three opulent days across The Leela Palace and the iconic Jagmandir Island Palace, the celebrations have captured global attention for their extravagance, star power, and meticulous grandeur.

The wedding guest list included high-profile names such as Donald Trump Jr., Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranveer Singh, making it one of the most talked-about events of the year. Social media platforms are flooded with photos and videos highlighting the breathtaking décor, extravagant ceremonies, and world-class performances.

The haldi, mehendi, and sangeet events set new benchmarks for luxury, featuring show-stopping acts by Madhuri Dixit, Nora Fatehi, and Ranveer Singh—whose energetic performance even had Donald Trump Jr. joining in on the dance floor. With international entertainers, heightened security arrangements, and unmatched hospitality, the wedding is widely being hailed as one of the most opulent celebrations of 2025.

Who Is Rama Raju Mantena?

At the centre of this grand affair is Rama Raju Mantena, Chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, and a prominent figure in the American pharmaceutical landscape. Originally from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Mantena moved to the United States in the 1980s. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTU before pursuing clinical pharmacy at the University of Maryland.

Over the decades, he has founded and led several successful healthcare ventures, including:

ICORE Healthcare – specializing in specialty healthcare cost management

International Oncology Network (ION)

OncoScripts – an oncology-focused pharmacy

Mantena began his career as CEO of P4 Healthcare in Florida before launching multiple companies that have grown into major players in the healthcare and oncology sectors.

While he is often described as a “billionaire,” public records estimate his net worth at around $20 million (₹167 crore). Despite this, he reportedly purchased a ₹400-crore, 16-bedroom luxury estate in Florida in 2023, complete with a private beach.

He is also known for his philanthropy. In 2017, Mantena reportedly donated a garland made of 1,008 gold coins (28 kg) to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams temple. He is married to Padmaja Mantena.amsi Gadiraju

Prabhas’ Rebel Saab: A Catchy Anthem but a Weak Composition

Share

Rebel Saab, the first single from Raja Saab, was released today, offering a mix of English and Hindi lyrics with only a faint touch of Telugu flavour. A short segment featuring a grandmother’s prayer to Goddess Durga briefly shifts the mood, but the song quickly returns to its dominant tone of hero elevation.

The standout line, “Pan India Number One Bachelor nene le,” fits Prabhas effortlessly and serves as the song’s primary hook. Rather than functioning as a thematic track for Raja Saab, Rebel Saab comes across as a self-celebratory anthem crafted around Prabhas’ persona.

Musically and lyrically, the song carries strong shades of early-2000s Tamil dubbed numbers. Thaman’s composition feels underwhelming, and the writing falls short of expectations—surprisingly so, considering Ramajogayya Sastry’s involvement. At times, it even resembles the work of a newcomer.

Yet, Prabhas’ presence overpowers every shortcoming. His slimmer look, renewed energy, and stylish dance moves give the video a distinct charm. The track may accumulate views and likes due to his massive stardom, but it remains far from a solid musical outing. Vocals are rendered by Anjith Hegde and Blaaze. The film is directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad.

AI Fan-Made Celebrity Images Go Viral Across South India

Share

AI photo-generation apps have become a major trend among young users and tech-savvy movie enthusiasts, enabling them to create hyper-realistic images of celebrities with just a simple prompt. While actresses like Janhvi Kapoor, Keerthy Suresh, and Rashmika Mandanna have expressed concern over AI-generated pictures that distort their physical features or portray them in revealing ways, male actors are experiencing a different wave of creativity from fans.

In Tamil cinema circles, a viral AI image recently surfaced showing legends Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, Dhanush, and Ajith Kumar casually sipping tea at a roadside café, dressed in shorts and lungis. This humorous portrayal quickly captured social media attention.

Following the trend, Telugu fans created their own set of AI photos. One widely circulated image featured Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna in a similar casual setup. Soon after, additional AI-generated images of Prabhas, NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu began to flood online platforms.

What makes these images particularly striking is their life-like appearance — so convincing that many viewers initially mistake them for authentic photographs. The trend reflects both the creative potential and the growing concerns surrounding the use of AI in the entertainment space.

Reuniting with star director Boyapati Srinu—his most successful collaborator—Balakrishna is gearing up to deliver another powerful, high-voltage entertainer. The film’s trailer has already generated massive buzz across the country, further raising expectations for the sequel.

As part of their nationwide promotional journey, Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu, and the film’s core team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Impressed by what he watched, Yogi Adityanath appreciated both Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu, expressing genuine excitement for the film’s release.

He emphasized that films highlighting the greatness of Indian Dharma, culture, traditions, and divine heritage play an important role in society. He commended the team for bringing such a meaningful narrative to the forefront and promoting it on a national scale.

As a gesture of respect, the team presented him with an Akhanda souvenir and a specially crafted Akhanda Trishulam. Given Yogi Adityanath’s role as a prominent representative of Sanatana Dharma, the filmmakers felt it was significant to share the film with him ahead of its release.

Backed by an ambitious promotional campaign across India, Akhanda 2 is set for a grand release on 5th December in both 2D and 3D formats, promising an extraordinary visual and emotional experience for audiences nationwide.

Meenakshi, who impressed audiences during last year’s Sankranti season with Sankranthiki Vastunnam, is set to return to the festive lineup with yet another release. This time, she pairs with Naveen Polishetty for the upcoming film Anaganaga Oka Roju, a combination that has already sparked curiosity among moviegoers.

Her effortless performance in her previous Sankranti outing is still fresh in the audience’s memory, naturally raising expectations around what she will bring to the table this year. Sankranti remains one of the most competitive release windows in Telugu cinema, and Meenakshi’s presence once again adds to the growing excitement.

Adding to the buzz, Meenakshi recently shared a new set of photos that have been well received. Dressed in a bright pink outfit with delicate detailing and understated accessories, she exudes a calm and confident charm. The relaxed vibe of the photos highlights her ability to look striking without appearing overly styled.

India Nominates M. Revathi for Top ITU Leadership Role

Share

India has officially nominated M. Revathi, Joint Wireless Adviser in the Department of Telecommunications’ Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing, for the position of Director of the Telecommunication Standardisation Bureau (TSB) at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for the 2027–2030 term.

Revathi, a seasoned expert in telecommunications and space technology, joins a competitive field of global candidates from France, Japan, Germany and other nations. Her candidacy was announced at the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The TSB leadership role is pivotal in shaping international telecom standards and regulatory frameworks at a time when global digital infrastructure is evolving at unprecedented speed.

Her nomination comes amid intensifying competition in the commercial satellite communications sector. With systems such as Starlink, Amazon Project Kuiper, and other private constellations rapidly expanding their presence, concerns are growing over the shrinking availability of orbital resources. Although outer space is recognised as a shared global asset under the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, experts caution that the dominance of corporations from developed nations risks widening the digital divide and restricting equitable access for emerging economies.

Speaking at the High-Level Segment on Day 1 of WTDC-25, Minister of State for Communications C.S. Pemmasani highlighted India’s nomination as part of its broader strategy to strengthen the voice of the Global South. He emphasised India’s role as a bridge between developed and developing nations, calling for fair access to digital technologies and stronger frameworks for technology transfer that support low- and middle-income countries.

With the ITU’s election process now in motion, the final vote will take place during the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-26) in Doha, Qatar, in November 2026. The result will play a crucial role in shaping the future of global digital governance and influencing how nations protect their digital sovereignty in the years ahead.

New Zealand Launches New Business Investor Work Visa for 2025

Share

New Zealand is set to open a significant new gateway for affluent global migrants through its Business Investor Work Visa, launching 24 November 2025. The visa provides up to four years of residency and a built-in mechanism to transition to permanent settlement, marking a major expansion of the country’s investment-led immigration options.

A More Involved Route for Investors

Designed for high-net-worth individuals keen on contributing directly to New Zealand’s business ecosystem, the new pathway requires applicants to invest in a local company and take an active managerial role. New Zealand’s appeal—its wildlife, landscapes, and cultural identity—has long attracted global travellers, and this program aims to convert that interest into sustainable economic participation.

The scheme offers two investment tracks:

NZD $1 million (~USD $567,300) for a three-year work-to-residency pathway

NZD $2 million (~USD $1,134,480) for a fast-tracked one-year route

Both tracks require an additional NZD $12,380 application fee and hands-on business involvement. After completing the required operating period, applicants may seek permanent settlement through the Business Investor Resident Visa.

Applicant Requirements and Business Criteria

To qualify, applicants must demonstrate:

At least NZD $500,000 (~USD $283,700) in personal maintenance funds

Proven business experience, which may include owning a company generating NZD $1 million in annual revenue or employing five full-time staff

Active participation in business management throughout the visa period

Investments must be made into businesses that are:

At least five years old

Legally operating in New Zealand

Employing five or more full-time workers

Valued at NZD $1 million or more (excluding property and GST)

Able to offer the investor 25% or greater ownership

Certain sectors remain prohibited, including gambling, tobacco, fast-food franchises, and businesses already owned by the applicant or their family.

Comparison With the Active Investor Plus Visa

The Business Investor Work Visa sits below New Zealand’s premium “golden visa”—the Active Investor Plus Visa—which demands substantially higher capital commitments:

NZD $5 million for higher-risk investments

NZD $10 million for lower-risk investments

This premium route is ideal for investors seeking a more passive approach. Interest remains strong: after threshold reductions earlier this year, the category received 189 applications in three months, with US investors accounting for 45%.

In contrast, the new Business Investor Work Visa targets applicants wanting a more engaged, hands-on investment experience within New Zealand.

More Pathways Coming Soon

New Zealand’s immigration system is expanding its toolkit for innovators and global talent. Immigration Minister Erica Stanford has confirmed work is underway on a visa for startup entrepreneurs with scalable and innovative business ideas. Additionally, remote professionals can enter the country for up to 90 days under the existing digital nomad visa, which carries no minimum income requirement.
