‘Adipurush’ Dialogue Writer Opens Up About Raavan’s Role
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was lately trolled for his comments about uplifting Ravana in his upcoming film, ‘Adipurush’. After a month later, the film’s dialogue writer and lyricist, Manoj Muntashir have responded on Saif Ali Khan’s incident.
While talking to a media house, the Baahubali writer said, “Saif was misunderstood. Ravana is perceived as an all-black figure, but in Adipurush, he will be portrayed in all his shades. He will be shown as a flamboyant king, who was also ruthless and cruel.”
Manoj Muntashir further added, “Ravana believed that he was more dominant than Ram, and could never understand why Sita couldn’t fall in love with him. Saif is a thinking actor and asks questions to understand his role better. He gets into the skin of the character.”
‘Adipurush’stars Prabhas in the lead role who will be playing the character of Ram in the movie. Directed by Om Raut, the film will roll on January 19 at a studio in Mumbai.

Bhuma Akhila Priya arrested in relation to Boyanapalli kidnap case
A lot of feathers were ruffled, and a lot of shock was caused when Telangana Chief Minister KCR‘s very own relatives were kidnapped in Hyderabad recently. Praveen Rao is the offspring of KCR’s sister, and is someone whom the CM considered to be his own brother.
On the pretense of being IT Officers, a few unidentified people had stormed into Praveen’s house, and kidnapped everyone at the house. This caused some major shock to everyone, considering that KCR is one of the most powerful CMs in the country, and that his own people were kidnapped.
Fact remains that KCR’s family is quite close to Praveen’s family, with all of them meeting up during festive and other occasions. Kalavakuntal Kavitha is said to have recently attended Praveen’s house warming ceremony with her entire family.
As soon as the Police department got to know of this issue, they had jumped into action, and even managed to get all those who were kidnapped out, within the next 2 hours.
However, the reasons and the people behind this incident were not specifically stated by the police department, possibly due to security reasons.
Later on, speculations began that the kidnapping had something to do with real estate affairs as Praveen Rao works in the real estate field. A clash is said to have risen with respect to land in Hitech City, between Praveen and another politician.
As the issue got bigger, and the politician seemed to be on the losing side, this politician is said to have been behind the kidnapping.
What now turned out to be interesting is that Andhra Pradesh ex-minister, and TDP member, Bhuma Akhila Priya has now been arrested with respect to this kidnapping, and her husband Bhargav Ram has also been taken into custody by the police department. Further details about this arrest are still awaited.
Exclusive: Shruti Hassan shifts base to Mumbai
Shruti Hassan is making her comeback to Tollywood with Ravi Teja’s Krack which will be releasing on 9th January. The star actress will also be seen in Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited social drama Vakeel Saab.
Interestingly, Shruti has now shifted her base to Mumbai. She recently acquired a costly flat at an upscale neighborhood in Mumbai and has moved into it.
Shruti recently wrapped up her Telugu projects Vakeel Saab and Krack. She did not sign any new projects post these two big-ticket films.
It seems to be that Shruti is eyeing a career in Bollywood and that could be the reason behind her decision to shift to Mumbai.
It is known that Shruti took a layoff from movies after her bad break-up and them decided to turn busy in acting again.

Jagan finally responds to attacks on temples in AP!
The attacks on temples in Andhra Pradesh are increasing by the day, and the damage that is being done is varying from place to place. So far, the worst has to be the incident, with the head of the Sri Rama idol being removed from the body, at the Ramatheertham temple.
As the people of the state, and the opposition parties are protesting against the government for its lack of action, and for its supposed bias towards only one religion, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has responded to these atrocities.
Jagan said that this is guerilla warfare that is being done against the government, as not a single party is tough enough to face them alone, in person. He said that the opposition parties are conspiring against the YSRCP, and have resorted to religion as its means.
Jagan also said that the government of Andhra Pradesh has installed 36,000 CCTV cameras in temples and around the state, and has asked what more and how many more CCTV cameras could be installed anywhere.
He asked the people to not be swayed by communal hatred, and asked everyone to develop more secural feelings towards the society. He also said that strict action would be taken against those who are responsible for all of these acts, and that their names would be made public as well.
Exclusive: Chiranjeevi prioritizes Lucifer remake over Vedhalam remake
Megastar Chiranjeevi is working on Acharya currently and he has already lined up three other projects including the remakes of Lucifer and Vedhalam. He is also interested in working with Bobby for a commercial entertainer.
Initially, Chiranjeevi planned to take Vedhalam remake onto the floors ahead of Lucifer remake and Meher Ramesh, who will be directing the former had even started finalizing the lead cast and technical crew. If things went as planned, Vedhalam remake would have started rolling by late January or early February.
However, Chiranjeevi seems to have changed his mind after noted director, Mohan Raja came on-board for Lucifer remake. Apparently, Mohan Raja promised to complete Lucifer remake in quick and successive schedules and Chiranjeevi has prioritised this project over Vedhalam remake how. He wants to kick-start Lucifer remake first and then move on to Vedhalam remake.
The makers of Lucifer remake had recently announced that the project will start rolling post Sankranti. Our sources close to the movie unit have confirmed that the regular shoot will commence from February. Chiru will be simultaneously shooting for Acharya and Lucifer remake until he wraps up the former.
Now that Lucifer remake has been pushed forward, Vedhalam remake will start rolling only from April or later.

Chinna Jeeyar Swamy to tour in AP from Jan 17
As AP CM Jagan realized that a series of incidents of vandalism of idols in temples is creating a sensation in the state among the Hindus, he started looking for spiritual gurus and he is seeking their directions.
Recently, as per Jagan’s directions, TTD trust board chairman Y V Subba Reddy went to Vijayawada to meet Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at his ashram to find a solution to this crisis.
In this context, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy held a press conference at his ashram and announced that from January 17, he would be touring Andhra Pradesh.
He told that he would discuss both short-term and long-term measures for the protection of the temples in the state with the help of locals and temple officials.
Salman sells his film Radhe to Zee studios by scrapping third party deals
As per the latest reports, Salman Khan had sold his forthcoming action thriller, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai, to Zee Studios for a whopping Rs. 230 crores, which comprise theatrical (India + Overseas), Satellite, Digital and Music rights of the film completely.
The news that sprung up in the film business made the competitors astonished as to why Salman Khan sold the full rights to Zee Studios. The actor earlier had contract with Yash Raj Films for theatrical rights, Amazon Prime for digital rights, while T-Series for music rights and Zee for satellite rights. However, it appears that Zee studios gave a lucrative deal much better than others.
Renowned production house YRF is known to have had a contract with Salman Khan Films (SKF) to distribute the film around the world on a commission premise, which implied that the pay for SKF would differ based on business the film does dramatically.
Also, he had an agreement with digital giant Amazon, who had restrictive streaming rights for the film, two months after its theatrical delivery. The satellite rights were with Zee, who would premiere it on their channel two months after the OTT release, and music rights were with T-Series.
A source revealed that Salman Khan opted to scrap all the third party deals and gave the responsibility to Zee studios completely as it would be more convenient to take decisions without the involvement of numerous parties.
