Salman Khan Plans Mega Film Studios in Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City

Share

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has spent a significant part of his film career shooting in Hyderabad, particularly at Ramoji Film City, with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan being one of his recent projects. However, the current buzz around the city feels different. Industry insiders are whispering that Salman is planning a major collaboration with Dil Raju and Vamshi Paidipally. But even bigger than that is the rumor that he intends to build massive film studios within Hyderabad’s new Bharat Future City.

Reports suggest that SKF Films has already met Telangana CM Revanth Reddy in Mumbai to discuss the project. These are not small setups—each studio is expected to occupy around 50–60 acres. The Telangana government appears ready to provide land along with attractive incentives to make the vision a reality. If all goes as planned, the MoUs are expected to be signed at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 on December 8 and 9.

CM Revanth Reddy has also laid the foundation for several major projects in Bharat Future City at Mirkhanpet in Kandukur Mandal. The area is being developed into a futuristic creative hub, so Salman’s involvement fits seamlessly into the bigger picture of Hyderabad becoming a film and entertainment powerhouse.

For Tollywood filmmakers, especially smaller production teams, this development could be a boon, offering more options for shooting without the usual logistical hassles. Salman’s affinity for Hyderabad is longstanding; he even hosted his sister Arpita’s wedding at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in a grand affair. Clearly, the actor keeps returning to the city he connects with the most.

Share

Social media buzzed with excitement on Monday as fans worldwide celebrated the birthday of Nayanthara, widely hailed as the Lady Superstar of South Indian cinema. One of the most influential actresses in contemporary Indian film, Nayanthara has delivered numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies, including Aramm, Raja Rani, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Maya, Bigil, and the pan-India blockbuster Jawan. Known for effortlessly balancing performance-driven roles with mass entertainers, she has been a favorite among filmmakers for nearly two decades.

Her personal life has also captured public admiration. Nayanthara married filmmaker Vignesh Shivan in 2022, and the couple welcomed twin boys via surrogacy the same year. Despite her superstar status, she remains grounded and private, connecting with audiences primarily through her work.

Over the years, she has earned multiple accolades, including Filmfare Awards South, Nandi Awards, and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, further cementing her legacy as one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated performers.

As birthday wishes continue to pour in, fans and celebrities alike are honoring not just a superstar, but an enduring icon whose presence makes every screen “light up a little extra.”

iBomma Admin Immadhi Ravi Arrested: Rs. 20 Crore Seized

Share

The arrest of iBomma admin Immadhi Ravi has been making headlines across the Telugu states in recent days. Shocking revelations are now emerging about Ravi’s life and the circumstances that may have shaped his path into crime. Reports suggest that severe emotional abuse and constant humiliation played a key role in turning him into the criminal he is today.

Back in 2016, Ravi reportedly entered into an inter-religion marriage. According to sources, he was repeatedly mocked and belittled by his wife and in-laws over his modest income. Until then, Ravi worked honestly, earning through domain services, server management, and website development. However, the relentless humiliation affected his self-esteem and eventually led him to file for divorce.

Seeking quick money afterward, Ravi turned to movie piracy and gradually got deeper into the criminal world. At one point, he even revoked his Indian passport and applied for citizenship of St. Kitts and Nevis. Many believe that the pressure and mistreatment from his family contributed significantly to his descent into this dark path.

Ravi’s story bears some resemblance to that of Ashwani Kumar, a college dropout previously arrested for hacking unreleased movies through digital cinema distribution networks like QUBE and UFO. Ashwani, bullied for his physical appearance and a squint eye, stopped attending school and taught himself hacking via YouTube tutorials. He eventually used his skills to breach servers and pirate films.

Ravi’s arrest occurred dramatically when he returned to India a few days ago to liquidate his assets. Authorities discovered Rs. 20 crores deposited across two bank accounts, seizing Rs. 3.5 crore at the time of arrest. His accounts have been frozen, and notices have been issued to banks regarding his credit cards, debit cards, and chequebooks seized from his apartment.

Revanth Reddy Appeals to PM Modi for Telangana Projects

Share

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s style of communication often strikes the right balance, delivering his message effectively while subtly putting pressure on his counterparts. Recently, CM Revanth Reddy made an interesting statement regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi while seeking contributions from the central government.

Addressing a meeting attended by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Revanth appealed directly to the Prime Minister. “PM Modi is like a big brother to all the chief ministers in India. Having been a chief minister himself, he knows how essential the support of the Centre is for a state’s progress. So, it is my honest request to Modi to be more considerate towards Telangana,” he said.

The CM highlighted the need for central support for key projects, including the Hyderabad Metro, Musi river beautification, and the state’s drinking water supply system. His earnest appeal prompted a positive response from Union Minister Khattar, who assured that the central government would honor its commitments on the Hyderabad Metro. He also appreciated CM Revanth for tirelessly advocating for Telangana’s interests.

With this approach, Revanth seems to have once again succeeded in securing attention and support from the Centre, at least verbally for now.

Tripti Dimri’s Tollywood Debut Buzz with Prabhas

Share

Tripti Dimri’s year has had its highs and lows. She appeared in Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi under Dharma Productions, but the film didn’t quite make the mark. Audiences moved on quickly, yet Tripti seems to have bounced back in a big way. She’s all set to make her Tollywood debut with Spirit, starring alongside Superstar Prabhas and directed by none other than Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Naturally, expectations are sky-high.

Recently, she shared a few new photos that instantly caught attention. Tripti sported a black full-sleeve crop top paired with matching black pants and shoes—an all-black, effortlessly chic look. The images had a raw, candid vibe, almost as if she clicked them in a rush while getting ready in her dressing room. The cozy, behind-the-scenes chaos in the background only added to the charm. She looked fresh, confident, and stunning, all without appearing like she was trying too hard.

Fans quickly picked up on the photos, sparking a buzz online. The anticipation around her pairing with Prabhas, combined with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s signature intense filmmaking, has only grown. These small glimpses behind the scenes have heightened the excitement, and everyone is eager to see how Tripti shines in her first major Tollywood role.

Upasana Konidela Sparks Debate on Career vs. Marriage Choices

Share

Upasana Konidela, now in her second trimester, recently inttlyeracted with students at IIT Hyderabad, and a small moment from that session sparked a huge online debate. She asked the students how many wanted to get married, and noticed more men raised their hands than women. Observing that many women seemed more career-driven, she called it a sign of “Progressive India” and encouraged them to set goals and stay unstoppable.

However, her comment quickly went viral, igniting discussions online. Some questioned whether women really need to delay marriage or family planning for their careers, pointing out that many successfully balance work and home life. Others argued that a “career first” mindset sometimes leads women to postpone family life, only realizing later that they wanted children earlier.

Several netizens also highlighted the biological realities: fertility declines with age, and pregnancies after the early to mid-30s can carry higher risks and complications, regardless of societal progress.

On the other hand, many defended Upasana, noting the importance of financial independence and women controlling their own timelines. Upasana herself has consistently emphasized this approach. She married Ram Charan in 2012, focused on her career for nearly a decade, and welcomed her first child in 2023. During that period, she faced questions and rumors about not having children but maintained she would start a family when ready.

Upasana has also openly discussed freezing her eggs early in marriage, calling it an “insurance policy” that allowed her to plan life on her own terms. She believes women don’t have to choose between career and motherhood—both are possible, just not always on the timeline society expects. Her IIT Hyderabad comments reflect this viewpoint, continuing to fuel discussions online.

Reliance to Build 1GW AI Data Centre in Andhra Pradesh

Share

Reliance Industries is accelerating its expansion into India’s digital infrastructure with the announcement of a 1-gigawatt (GW) AI data centre in Andhra Pradesh. The large-scale facility is designed to meet the soaring global demand for artificial intelligence computing, which requires vast processing power and highly efficient, interconnected data clusters.

The project marks a significant step in positioning India as a hub for next-generation AI technologies. Serving as a twin facility to Reliance’s gigawatt-scale AI centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the new Andhra Pradesh site is expected to collectively form one of Asia’s strongest AI infrastructure networks. This combined capacity will create a formidable digital backbone for both domestic and regional AI-driven innovation.

While specific investment figures were not disclosed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the scale of the initiative underscores Reliance’s ambition to compete with leading global technology companies. Major industry players such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon have already committed substantial capital to build large-scale data centres in India, recognising the country as a pivotal market for future digital growth.

India’s Winter Travel Boom

Share

As winter settles across India, the season has clearly solidified its position as the country’s peak period for international travel. Visa applications for the November 2025 to February 2026 window have seen a significant surge, making year-end travel one of the most sought-after periods for Indian holidaymakers, according to data from visa processing platform Atlys.

With Christmas festivities, New Year celebrations, and extended school holidays aligning, families, couples, and groups of friends are embracing the opportunity to reconnect and explore destinations abroad.

“Winter has firmly established itself as India’s favourite travel season, and the reasons are clear: it’s a time for celebration, connection, and exploration,” said Santosh Hegde, Head of Marketing at Atlys. “Our role is to ensure that the visa process is as smooth and stress-free as possible, so travellers can focus entirely on their adventures.”

A notable demographic shift is driving this travel upswing. Millennials account for 54% of all applications, reflecting rising disposable incomes and a strong appetite for experience-led travel—particularly to Schengen countries, which make up 50% of millennial bookings. Gen Z contributes another 25%, showcasing the younger generation’s expanding interest in global travel.

Women now comprise 34% of all applicants, with Sri Lanka emerging as a preferred destination among female travellers. Men, meanwhile, continue to gravitate towards Schengen destinations. While Tier 1 cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru lead demand, Tier 2 hubs including Lucknow, Ludhiana, and Surat are also registering a notable rise in outbound travel interest.

Travellers this season are split between classic winter and tropical escapes. Snow seekers are heading to Switzerland, France, and the UK for festive Christmas markets and skiing holidays. Meanwhile, sun-seeking vacationers are choosing Bali, Dubai, and Sri Lanka for their beaches and adventure experiences. Short-haul favourites such as Vietnam, Thailand, and the UAE remain popular for quick, celebratory getaways.

Additionally, increasing itinerary flexibility is boosting interest in multi-country European trips, especially within the Schengen zone. European destinations are also becoming top choices for honeymoons and post-wedding vacations, as more couples opt for culturally rich and scenic winter escapes.

U.S. Colleges See Sharp Drop in New International Students

Share

A significant decline in new international student enrolments at U.S. colleges this autumn has been driven largely by a sharp drop in students from India, according to a report released on Monday by the Institute of International Education (IIE). As India remains the largest source of foreign students in the United States, its downturn has contributed substantially to the overall 17% decrease in new international enrolments.

The IIE report notes that 96% of institutions experiencing declines attributed the drop to concerns surrounding the U.S. visa application process, while 68% cited travel restrictions as key factors. Stricter student visa policies and enhanced scrutiny under the Trump administration have played a central role, affecting both processing timelines and approval rates.

New measures — including attempts to limit international student numbers, increased vetting, and mandatory social media disclosures for visa applicants — have further complicated entry for prospective students. Lengthy processing delays, earlier pauses in visa issuance, and occasional revocations have added uncertainty to the admissions landscape.

Despite these challenges, international students remain vital to the U.S. higher education system and economy, contributing an estimated $55 billion in 2024, as reported by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. With most international students paying full tuition and receiving little to no financial aid, their presence provides essential revenue for universities already coping with falling domestic enrolment.

The report shows that while 29% of institutions recorded an increase in international intake and 14% saw stable numbers, a majority — 57% — reported declines in new international student enrolments this fall.
