Ram’s cryptic tweet on OTT platforms
The lockdown has forced theatres and multiplexes to shut. It’s been nearly 60 days and still there is uncertainty. As the threat of virus is prevailing, the governments are in no mood to open the theatres in near future. So producers are being approached by Over The Top platforms and are lured with fancy amounts.
In the recent times, there came report that many noted Telugu films would release on OTT as the theatrical release is expected to take more time than anticipated. Some of the films that made headlines in this line were Energetic Star Ram’s ‘RED,’ Natural star Nani’s ‘V’ and a few others.

Though the producers of the respective films have clarified that they will not release the films on OTT, the rumours are not stopping. Vexed up such rumours, hero Ram made a cryptic tweet on OTT who are hell bent buy films.
“The thing about the Movie Industry is..It’s a Passion for a few..a Business for most..& a Gamble for the rest..Everyone sees it from their own perspective,” tweeted Ram and in the hashtags he mentioned OTT and theatrical. This shows Ram is not really pleased with OTT platforms for being behind all the time for digital release.
Live With Corona Like You’re Living With HIV: Venkaiah Naidu
Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu said in his latest Facebook post that people need to live with Coronavirus just like they are living with the HIV. Naidu said that people can’t live their lives in confinement and that one needs to bring changes in behavioral patterns, especially when there is no vaccine to contain the virus.
Welcoming the BJP government’s recent announcement of the relaxations for lockdown 4.0, Venkaiah said that life will never be the same for anyone. He opined that the Corinavirus pandemic is more a civilisational issue than that of individual lives.
The Vice President went on to suggest a “Twelve-point guideline of living during the Corona Times,” stressing about the behavioural changes such as wearing masks and maintaining physical distance and hygiene in public.
Naidu recalled the WHO officials’ statement on Coronavirus in which they said that the virus is going to stay with the mankind for longer than expected. However, he expressed hope and said the ongoing crisis due to the pandemic should be used as a course corrector and we equip ourselves with better tools to fight the epidemics – through gene editing, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data etc.
Pic Talk: Sexy Lavanya Exclaims ‘Oh My Back’
Sizzling starlet Lavanya Tripathi is hopeful that she will bounce back big time in Tollywood after the lockdown. While she slowed down due to a couple of flops he has movies like A1 Express and Geetha Art’s Chaavu Kaburu Challaga in hand now. And other day, she gave a spicy treat to her fans with her throwback picture.
Posing on the stairs for the shot captured from the top angle, Lavanya has made sure that she will charm the camera into tracing the best of her curves. Of course, her sports bra and that hourglass waist immediately grab our attention, but the actress there is a lot of pain behind that picture though she is oozing loads of sex appeal quite effortlessly.
“Its an art to pose on stairs and make it look like the most comfortable place on earth”, exclaiming, “Oh My Back!”. Perhaps, she is pretty true, as it takes lots of pain to pose in certain ways but still to give the right shot and flaunt that alluring beauty in the right fashion, heroines and models go through lots of unseen pain.
Privacy activists pleased as Centre softens stance on Aarogya Setu app
HYDERABAD: Free software advocates and privacy activists are rejoicing the Ministry of Home Affair’s apparent change in stance regarding the use of Aarogya Setu. In a notification that was issued on Sunday, the Ministry had announced that the app was not ‘mandatory’ anymore.
Software Freedom Law Centre, in a statement, said, “We welcome the MHA’s notification that nullifies the mandatory installation of Aarogya Setu application for employees and individuals in containment zones. We had earlier sent a joint letter to the Central and State governments on unwarranted, excessive collection and processing of personal data during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.”
Despite the good news, SFLC maintained that the app remained problematic. “Amid security and privacy concerns, the Aarogya Setu app still remains a closed-source application.” Internet Freedom Foundation echoed the concern and said, “We have recorded a small but significant win. The installation of Aarogya Setu has now been changed to a ‘best effort basis’ as per the new guidelines.”
“This change also comes after the Kerala High Court agreed to hear a plea drafted by IFF lawyers on behalf of Jackson Mathew. The petition called for voluntary use of Aarogya Setu,” it added.
City-based independent security researcher Srinivas Kodali said, “Mandatory or not, Aarogya Setu is of no use. Start investing efforts in healthcare, increase wages for staff, provide them with PPE, ventilators and masks. Take care of them so that they take care of us.”
No Short Venture Before #PSPK28
Other day, news has already come out that hotshot director Harish Shankar will be teaming up with 14 Reels Plus production owned by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta. They have earlier produced Gaddalakonda Ganesh with Harish Shankar which has Varun Tej in the lead. And here’s the twist.
Apparently Harish has signed a film with Mythri Movie Makers already which has none other than Pawan Kalyan in the lead. But for this film to take off, actually Harish needs to wait for a long time as the Powerstar has to wrap Vakeel Saab as well as Krish’s movie. In the current scenario, wrapping Krish’s movie might take longer than expected as there are lots of visual effects related shots that are to be done.
As Pawan don’t want to move to any other movie before wrapping Krish’s film, we hear that Harish Shankar is rumoured to do a short venture before taking up #PSPK28. However, the director has stated that all those rants are just rumours only.
“Don’t forget that even I’m also a Pawan Kalyan fan. Power Star movie script work and music work under progress!! Whatever may be the new commitment, it would be only after #PSPK28” he said, officially.

Reel Buzz: Charan’s Daddy Love!
Chiranjeevi was away from the film industry for a period of ten years but he has proved his stamina with ‘Khaidi No.150’ as the movie went on to collect 100 crores.
‘Sye Raa’ has proved his crowd-pulling capacity again. Recharged with the response, Chiru is taking up more projects. Charan is taking the responsibility of Chiranjeevi films.
Choosing Surender Reddy for ‘Sye Raa’, holding Koratal Siva for ‘Acharya’ for a year, handing over the responsibility of ‘Lucifer’ remake to ‘Saaho’ director Sujeeth, all these things are taken care by Charan. He is focusing more on keeping his dad busy rather than his films and career.
Tarak has already finalized his next film after ‘RRR’. Setting up a project with Trivikram even before the release of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ has become a huge advantage for Tarak.
A film with Trivikram after such a blockbuster will have a big craze. But Charan has not taken a decision on his next project. He is going to appear in a cameo in ‘Acharya’ for his dad’s word!
