Mumbai: Hindi TV actress Sejal Sharma commits suicide

Hindi TV star Sejal Sharma, who is popularly known for her role in “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji” show as Simmy Khosla, allegedly committed suicide on Friday. The actress committed suicide at her friend’s house at Meera Road’s Royal Nest society of greater Noida. Also, the cops have found a suicide note in her room.

Sejal mentioned that no one is responsible for her death and she is taking the drastic step out of her personal issues. Taking the news to the public, Sejal’s co-star from the show, Aru K Verma said, ”I am shocked to hear the news. It’s very difficult for me to believe since I met her just 10 days ago and we even chatted on WhatsApp on Sunday. When I met her 10 days back, she was absolutely fine”.

Aru K Verma played as Sejal Sharma’s brother in the show. He also revealed that that Sejal’s family got to know about her suicide today morning, nearly after 8 hours. Her family has taken the body to Udaipur for her last rites, her hometown.

Sejal Sharma came to Mumbai in 2017, aspiring to be an actress and she was passionate about acting. Before her debut on the Star Plus show “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji”, she was seen in a few commercials. She had also featured in a web series titled “Azad Parindey”.

Sankranthi blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo goes past Saaho to enter the all time top 5 highest grossing movies in USA.

It is now behind Baahubali 2, Baahubali 1, Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu.

On Friday, AVPL has grossed $56,785 to take its over all tally to $3,234,396, thus helping it go past Saaho, last year’s highest grossing Telugu film in USA.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has high chances to beat Rangasthalam in full run to become the highest grossing Non-Baahubali movie in this region.

KTR rocks in Davos, where is Gautam?

At a time when Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and Information Technology minister K T Rama Rao was rubbing his shoulders with top industrialists and business honchos of the world at the four-day World Economic Forum meeting that concluded at Davos on Friday, sadly there was none to bother about Andhra Pradesh.

One does not know whether there was any invitation to Andhra Pradesh for the WEF summit this year and whether the state government had many any attempt to put up its pavilion at Davos to attract investors. But there was no talk about AP nor was there any show from the state.

KTR met several leaders from across the globe, including central Ministers from various countries, top executives of global corporations, including Alphabet Inc. and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Coca Cola CEO James Quincey, Salesforce founder, Chairman Marc Benioff and YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, besides Singapore business delegations led by minister Ishwaran.

KTR showcased Telangana to multinational investors with an intention to draw investors by setting up an exclusive Pavilion on the Davos Promenade.

The visit also fetched Rs 500 Crore worth investments from Pharma major Piramal group. Several business entities have evinced keen interest in investing in Telangana state.

One wonders why the AP government had not taken any such initiative.

While chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is understandably busy with his welfare schemes and also efforts to create three capitals for the state, industries minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy should have taken the initiative to go to Davos and showcase AP.

At a time when the investment climate has taken a beating in the last few months due to certain harsh measures taken by the Jagan government, it is the responsibility of leaders like Gautam to make use of such opportunities like WEF and take confidence building measures.

After all, Andhra Pradesh needs industrial development as well, apart from welfare schemes!

The hit combination of ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ might team up again if everything falls in the right place.

Director Vamshi Paidipally who has locked a script for his next film with Mahesh Babu is said to be working on the casting process.

Vamshi has earlier worked with Pooja Hegde in “Maharshi”. So, he is now looking to cast Kiara Advani opposite Mahesh Babu.

Even though Kiara has refused to allot dates to Vijay Deverakonda – Puri Jagannadh’s movie, Vamshi Paidiappy believes that she would agree to his movie because it is Mahesh Babu starrer.

She made debut opposite Mahesh Babu. So, she would adjust her dates for her first superstar.

After two massive hits – “Kabir Singh” and “Good Newzz”, she has become a top league actress in Bollywood.

Society inspired me to become writer: Naga Shaurya

Young hero Naga Shaurya is also a part-time writer too but with his upcoming movie ‘Aswathama’ he is emerging as a full-time writer.

When asked about this thing of a hero getting involved in writing, Shaurya replied that it is purely accidental.

“Society inspires me to write. It all started with ‘Chalo’ when there was Andhra and Telangana row.But it was a big issue, so we confined the film to two villages,” said Shaurya.

About ‘Aswathama’ he added that this is based on true events and it happened to one of my friends’ sister but I can’t reveal the name.

“Though this is a crime thriller, as we are in entertainment world, we added all the commercial elements and made a feature film,” quipped Shaurya.

On the title, the young hero added that he was initially scared to keep ‘Aswathama’ but he had a detailed discussion with his team of writers, director and producers and finally got convinced.

Directed by Ramana Teja, ‘Aswathama’ trailer is trending on YouTube since it was out and garnered over five million views in 24 hours.

The film is releasing on January 31st.

Pawan Kalyan Making Same Old Mistakes!

If there are any film stars who make a mess of their stardom, Pawan Kalyan will be at the top of the list of such stars.

Though he still enjoys tremendous craze among the youth that is enough to make even an average film of him a big hit, he miserably fails to capitalise on the same.

For some strange reason, Pawan has done a series of meaningless films that bombed at the box office.

Otherwise, how did he do flop films like Sardar Gabbar Singh and Katama Rayudu when he was the peak of his career?

Unfortunately, even successful director like Trivikram, who had delivered bit hits with Pawan in the past, also made a big mistake of doing “Agnyathavasi,” much to the misfortune of the power star.

Though Pawan gave up his career in the film industry and took to full-time politics two years ago, he did not achieve any success there. Since he doesn’t have much work in politics now, he is now donning the greasepaint again.

All said and done, Pawan’s films always generate craze even now. But the subject he has chosen for his comeback film has disappointed his fans a lot.

Does the remake of “Pink” suit his image at all?

One can understand how much they are disappointed with his choice that they feel it would be better for him not to enter the industry again, rather than doing such films.

Though Pawan had the choice to return to the film industry by taking up a film with commercial directors like Harish Shankar, he had chosen to do the film with Krish, who doesn’t have a big commercial hit so far.

Moreover, Krish is known for experimenting with roles, rather than creating roles to suit the image of Pawan Kalyan. So, it is unlikely that his fans would evince interest in both his films.

Since Pawan is doing films only out of necessity rather than passion for the films and there is every chance that he might withdraw from the industry any time, the producers are also feeling risky to do films with him.

More than Babas and any other politicians, it is Film Industry that believes and follows lots of sentiments and other religious stuff. Coming to Telugu film industry, here every single move gets linked to some sort of sentiment. Some heroes don’t attend their own movie opening events, some heroes don’t wear particular colour on particular days and some release films only at muhurats that count to total nine.

A couple of years ago when the film Agnyaathavasi flopped at the box office, director Trivikram is said to have felt that the bad vaastu of his newly constructed house in Film Nagar led to the debacle. Without even thinking twice, he has demolished parts of his house and reconstructed them, and also did special homams to get the Vaastu defects corrected. Later he made Aravinda Sametha and now Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo happened.

Believing that Trivikram did fantastic vaastu correction to his house such that he scored an industry hit, now many film biggies are said to be approaching him for advice. Some big heroes and producers are said to have requested him to visit their house in order to find out about Vaastu doshas and help them do the needful changes and homams.

Anushka’s Demands Met- Release Date Changed

‘Baahubali’ starlet Anushka Shetty is trying to prove her mettle as a solo heroine once again as she comes up with “Nishabdam” that has her playing the role of a deaf-mute artist. The film is actually set for January 31st release and we have already revealed that the actress is upset with the final output and hence no promotions so far.

Latest reports are indicating that finally director Hemanth Madhukar and the producers of the film have budged to Anushka’s demands. After watching the final copy of the film recently, the actress is said to have demanded to make certain changes to few scenes, cut out a few scenes and add some other scenes in place of them. Though the makers are reluctant initially to make those changes, the Baahubali siren is said to have warned them of her absence from promotions.

Without any option, they are now doing the changes which will further delay the post-production a bit. For that reason, Nishabdam is now likely to hit cinemas on February 20th rather hitting cinemas on Jan 31st as planned.

Surender Reddy Takes Legal Route Against Konidela Productions?

From a long time, a rumour is doing rounds that director Surender Reddy is quite upset with mega hero Ram Charan who hasn’t cleared his dues related to ‘Sye Raa’ though they have made huge money on the Megastar’s magnum opus.

Buzz has that while Charan agreed to pay Surender Reddy a whopping 8 crores remuneration and GST as well, has given only 2 crores to the director. Though Reddy tried to reach the hero and his father a couple of times to settle down his balance payment, they are said to have avoided meeting him.

Industry people are saying that already Surender Reddy approached Directors Association as well Producers Council to resolve the matter, failing which, he will be fighting in Court against Konidela Productions. As the matter involves the biggest head of Telugu cinema, people like Dil Raju are said to have advised Reddy to go slow on the legal action thing.

For now, there is no confirmation regarding this from either side and we have to see if the director opens up on these, so-called, gossips.
