Sometime back, actor and filmmaker Krishnam Raju has planned to make a film with Prabhas and even got readied a terrific script with the star. After magnum opus Baahubali, Krishnam Raju has decided to take off the project and the plan was that he himself would direct Prabhas. The film was even titled as Okka Adugu. This had created a lot of attention from Prabhas fans as it would mark the collaboration of Krishnam Raju and Prabhas.

However, due to some practical reasons, it film didn’t get materialize. And Prabhas has moved forward to collaborate with Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame and it was none other than Saaho, a pan-Indian film after Baahubali : The Conclusion and Baahubali : The Beginning.

As he couldn’t direct Prabhas for Okka Adugu, Krishnam Raju has decided to use Prabhas dates and that’s how the film with Radha Krishna took off under Krishnam Raju’s Gopikrishna Movies in association with UV Creations.

Recently, when asked about the shelved project and his directorial plans, 80-year-old veteran actor clarified and humbly accepted, “I can’t direct Prabhas. I’m aged now. I can’t direct a movie.” That’s the story behind Okka Adugu. The title of the film is still endearing to Prabhas fans. Let’s hope the actor would do another movie with the same title.
