Two Heroines Rejected Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog?
Nagarjuna appeared to be truly exciting to be part of a true-life inspired drama, with Wild Dog, wherein he is playing an NIA Officer. With new director Solomon and in a new format film making, Nag will be seen as ACP Vijay Varma.
We believe that excitement will last throughout the film-making only if everything falls in place as expected. But there seems to be a hiccup in the form of the heroine, who needs to play Nagarjuna’s wife in the movie.
Reports say that the team approached two noted heroines for the role, for which they rejected right away leaving the team on the search again. If we look back into Nag’s recent filmography there are no top league heroines in his recent films, while Manmadhudu 2 is an exception.
Finding a lead woman for senior heroes is always a tough task and looks like the team Wild Dog is having the toughest time convincing the happening heroines to pair opposite Nagarjuna.
Vizag Capital Is Jagan’s Guru Dakshina
Former Finance minister of state Yanamala Ramakrishnudu found fault at AP CM YS Jagan for the decision to change capital from Amaravati to Vizag. In fact Yanamala raked up Jagan and Vizag Sarada Peetham Swaroopanandendra Saraswati swamiji’s association.
‘More than AP Bifrucation Act and the constitution of India, it’s Swaroopanandendra Saraswati’s words are more important for CM Jagan. This is Jagan’s Guru Dakshina to the Swami ji at the cost of Amaravati farmers’s sacrifice. Telangana CM KCR, Jagan and Swaroopanandendra are riding in the same ship,’ said Yanamala.
On KCR and Jagan’s meeting, Yanamala opined that this meeting will bring more harm to Andhra Pradesh. ‘Jagan’s actions prove that he is benefiting neighboring states more than the Andhra Pradesh and this is not good at all for the future of state,’ added Yanamala.
Also the TDP leader said Amaravati capital was approved by Parliament and Jagan should not dare to do so.
Big Hero Sent Her Without Giving Appointment
Recently an incident between two senior heroes has surely stunned everyone. Those who have seen the thing first hand has advised the wife of one of the senior heroes to go to the other ‘super popular’ senior hero’s house and apologise. But where does that end?
Actually this particular wife of one of the senior heroes went to the residence of other senior hero’s wife in order to give some explanation. But then, the ‘super popular’ senior hero is said to have made the wife of other hero wait for almost two hours at the gate of his residence. Though she is more than happy to wait, in order to meet him, the super-popular hero’s manager later told her that he will not be meeting her as there are other prior scheduled appointments.
Disappointed by the way she was treated, she left the place, but then SMSed the super popular hero to not shed his anger on them. While the super popular hero has seen the WhatsApp message, he hasn’t replied to it, says a source close to both the heroes.
Looks like egos have got hurt in this incident and we have to see what turns it will take in the near future.
Parasuram and Chay Waiting For Heroine’s Answer?
A blockbuster like Geeta Govindam too could not make Parasuram very busy, as the director failed to convince many top league heroes with a story.
With wheels under his feet, Parasuram is heard gone to Prabhas, Mahesh, Akhil and narrated the same line but finally stopped at Naga Chaitanya’s thumbs up.
Naga Chaitanya getting aboard did not distance the troubles for Parasuram yet, as he needs to get a happening heroine for the film. And that would be so obvious that Rashmika Mandanna remains the only option as Raashi Khanna paired up Chay in the very recent Venky Mama.
The producers of 14 Reels Plus are said to have approached Rashmika for this film and the actress is yet to respond, as she is having four films in making including Allu Arjun20 and Nithiin’s Bheeshma, while she is awaiting the release and result of her biggest film Sarileru Neekevvaru. So, with her diary filled up, chances are bleak that Rashmika signs this movie.
It is also rumored that Allu Aravind got his hands on the script earlier with which he wanted to convince Mahesh Babu and later moved away due to reasons unknown.
Bunny’s Craze In Kerala Reached New Heights
We have been seeing from years that actors from neighbor states manage to attain stardom and fandom here, but none from our Telugu star actors could never really win many hearts anywhere except in Telugu. Things changed a bit in the last few years as our Prabhas and Bunny cracked that code and broke the jynx.

Team Aswathama’s unique wishes to Sankranthi releases
Naga Shourya’s Aswathama is hitting the theaters on January 31st and promotions are in full swing for the action thriller. The teaser of the film was released recently and it garnered a good response.
Today, the makers have released a new video with ‘Sankranthi Kodi Pandalu’ theme.
In the video, Sankranthi releases, Darbar, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and Entha Manchivadavura are seen as raging roosters which are set to indulge in a ferocious ‘Cockfight’. It indicates that these films are set to fight it out at the box office.

Cong to prosecute prospective defectors!
It has become a common phenomenon in the Congress party in Telangana for the last five years that most of its leaders who get elected in any election are quickly jumping into the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
In 2014 assembly elections, the Congress had won 23 assembly seats, of which eight MLAs defected to the TRS within a year.
Then assembly speaker S Madhusudhana Chary did not take any action despite repeated petitions filed by the party seeking to disqualify them.
Again, in 2018 December elections, the Congress won 19 MLA seats, but 12 of them defected to the TRS within a few months.
This time, they defected to the TRS en masse, so that they could escape disqualification under the anti-defection law.
Even in the last year’s mandal parishad and zilla parishad elections, many elected representatives of the Congress defected to the TRS without facing any disqualification.
This time, the Pradesh Congress Committee has come out with an innovative idea. It has decided to put a pre-condition to all the candidates who are being given tickets for the municipal elections scheduled to be held on January 22.
The condition is the candidates, before filing their nominations for the posts of municipal councillors and corporators should submit an affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs 20 denomination, stating that they would not defect to other political parties once they get elected on behalf of the Congress.
They should give a written undertaking on the bond paper that they would abide by the party whip during the election of municipal chairpersons and mayors in their respective municipalities and corporations.
“If they violate the party whip and vote for the TRS or other party candidates, they would not only lose the post, but also be liable for criminal prosecution. This clause will be clearly mentioned in the affidavit they would be signing,” the PCC said.
The notification for elections to 120 municipalities and nine municipal corporations in Telangana was issued on Wednesday and the nomination process commenced simultaneously. The State Election Commission announced the schedule late on Tuesday night.
The SEC would take up scrutiny of nominations on January 11 and appeals if any against the rejection of nominations would be disposed of the next day.
The last day for withdrawal of nominations would be January 14 and the final list of contesting candidates would be announced the same day.
Polling would be held on January 22 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and counting of votes and declaration of results would be on January 25.
Why did Pawan disappear from Amaravati stir?
Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan might have stopped acting in films, but in his political life, he has been making guest appearances now and then whenever serious issues crop up, before withdrawing into his shell quickly.
This has been proved once again during the ongoing agitation by farmers of Amaravati, the capital region of Andhra Pradesh, in protest against the proposed shifting of the administrative capital to Visakhapatnam.
Initially, Pawan opposed the idea of three capitals for the state and later declared that he would take a clear stand after the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government took a final decision. But when the farmers of Amaravati intensified their agitation in the last 15 days, Pawan decided to take a plunge.
He visited a few dharna camps in Amaravati, violated the police restrictions at Mandadam village and addressed a couple of meetings, expressing his solidarity with the agitating farmers.So far so good. But within a day, Pawan quietly disappeared from the scene and is nowhere to be seen in Amaravati.
While his “big brother” Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is sweating it out on the streets of Amaravati, Pawan remained elusive.Even his party leaders like Nadendla Manohar and others are also making just guest appearances and are not to be seen regularly participating in the agitation.
Ironically, their own party MLA Rapaka Varaprasad has wholeheartedly extended his support to the three capitals plan of Jagan.If Pawan has no clear strategy as to what political stand he has to take, it is better he withdraws from politics!
Indians under 20 must renew OCI cards after each passport renewal: Govt
New York: The Indian government is advising Indians under 20 years of age who hold Overseas Citizen of India or OCI cards to get them re-issued each time they get their passport re-issued.For OCI card holders above 50 years, the card needs to be re-issued only once after passport renewal, according to details in a press release issued by the Indian Consulate in New York.
OCI card holders between the age of 21 and 50 years don’t need to get the cards re-issued each time after passport renewal.The Indian government is allowing “temporary relaxation” till June 30 this year for selected cases where any OCI card holder less than 20 years old travels with a copy of the new passport, the OCI card and the old passport which is linked to the OCI card.
For OCI card holders over 50 years old too, the same relaxation applies until June 30, the statement said.
The OCI card works as a multiple entry, multi-purpose life-long visa to India, and exempts card holders from the need to register with local police authorities even for long India stays and can be used as identity proof for application of PAN card and driving license and for opening a bank account if the OCI card holder is residing in India.
The OCI card came into being after the Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) Scheme was introduced by amending the Citizenship Act, 1955, in August 2005.
