Mass Maharaja Raviteja teamed up for the first time with Vi Anand for an upcoming Telugu project titled ‘Disco Raja’.
Vi Anand is known for his chills and thrills in his movies like Ekkadiki potavu chinnavada and Okka kshanam. Being produced by Ram Talluri under SRT Entertainment banner, the film has music by SS Thaman.

They decided not to invite any Chief Guests, which is why the event hasn’t created much buzz. They are yet to launch the theatrical trailer too.They are under tremendous pressure after the trailer of Sarileru Neekevvaru turned out to be a big hit. Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev has turned a year old on Monday and wishes are pouring down for him from the sports fraternity and also from fans. The makers of ’83’ film have shared few pictures of real Kapil Dev showing some batting tips to reel Kapil Dev aka Ranveer Singh.
Being directed by Kabir Khan, ’83’ is all about Indian cricket team’s glorious run towards being the winners of the third edition of cricket World Cup. And it was Kapil Dev who captained the team and played a crucial role both with bat and ball in this tournament.
For the role, Ranveer got specially trained in cricket in London and Dharmashala. He also spent some time with Kapil Dev to learn his body language.

Chiru’s Satire Is Something Everyone Should Realise
Hailing Mahesh and his director Anil Ravipudi, Megastar Chiranjeevi has called his director Koratala Siva on to the stage, to take an open promise from him to make sure that their next, #Chiru152, will be wrapped in under 100 days like how Sarileru Neekevvaru team did it. Well, that might have sounded exaggerated for a few, but here is what everyone should understand.
Chiranjeevi is someone who always backs his case with numbers and examples, and other day also he has explained how producer Anil Sunkara would have saved huge interests on the loans he has taken to produce this movie. Chiru even mentioned that as Mahesh didn’t take his pay in advance, and Anil wrapped the movie in the stipulated time, Sunkara would have paid only a single-digit number as interest rather a double-digit number. This explains how much money producer will lose in excess if films are carved for lengthier times and heroes demand all their remuneration much in advance.
If all the directors could drive a film to a superhit like Rajamouli even if they take a huge time, then producers might get some profits. In the other case, almost all the big-budgeted movies are becoming cost-failures due to the delay in their making. So let every big hero takes Chiranjeevi’s words to the heart and makes sure that their films get wrapped like a Sarileru Neekevvaru, and saves producers.
Investors Are After The Farmers In Amaravati
The farmers in Amaravati have a major problem, or rather pressure now, which is why they are fighting on the streets.
Several of the farmers have sold their lands to the prospective investors, when the prices shot up from just Rs 5 lakh an acre to Rs 5 crore when the area was declared capital.
The farmers made huge profits from their lands, except those in Undavalli, Penumaka and the fertile multi-crop soils along the river.
The prospective investors from outside, including the TDP leaders, have paid this money to the farmers in those days and purchased the lands. They believed in the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu and his digital creation of Amaravati as global destination.
Now, with change of government in the State and the government pushing forward three capitals proposal, the prices have come down drastically. There are no hopes of the area becoming a global destination in near future as promised by Chandrababu Naidu.
The decision of the Jagan Mohan Reddy had thus left those prospective investors to spend sleepless nights and run after the farmers who sold the lands.
The investors are now visiting the villages and the farmers and asking them to join the agitation to mount pressure on the government to continue Amaravati as capital so that they can, somehow, get back their money.
Several farmers are now under pressure from these investors, who backed Chandrababu Naidu’s digital presentations and the graphical city in those days.
They are also cursing Chandrababu Naidu for creating such an unimaginable hype making them to buy the lands at such a high price.
Jagan’s Next Move Is On New Districts
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to announce his one more promise of creating new districts in the state, very soon.
Even as the state administration is busy with the election plan for the zilla parishads and mandal parishads, the chief minister is planning to engage people in prolonged discussions and debates before he takes a call on having new districts in the State.
Though creation of new districts is not part of the party’s manifesto of Navarathnalu, Jagan Mohan Reddy had made this promise to the people during his historic padayatra, before the 2019 elections.
He said that he would make every Lok Sabha constituency as a district and thus the state was promised to have 25 districts.
As there are some revenue issues and sentimental issues if the state has to create new districts based on the Lok Sabha constituencies, Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to be thinking of constituting an expert committee to tour the state at least for two to three months and make recommendations.
As of now, the existing Parliamentary constituencies are spread over one or two revenue districts, while some constituencies are spread across the regions or the closest cities and towns for the people, which they like and associate more.
It would be difficult for the people to miss those identities if the new districts are created on the basis of the Lok Sabha constituencies.
Though Jagan Mohan Reddy had already reorganised his party by creating district units at the Lok Sabha constituency level, he has to begin this exercise with the revenue officials.
Having created the village secretariats and brought administration close to the people, the big task before him now is the creation of the new districts.
However, this would happen only after the local body elections are held as the government had already announced the reservations for the next Zilla Parishad chairperson posts.
Though the elections are held now, the new districts are most likely to come any time after the elections and that would only be for the administrative purpose and not to have re-election.

Who is responsible for JNU violence?
New Delhi: Who vandalised the JNU campus on Sunday? Were they insiders or outsiders? Delhi Police’s Crime Branch are trying to solve this riddle.
The big question is, hours before the riots and violence, all the gypsies of Delhi Police control room around JNU were seen by people living here. Then why did the Delhi Police vans within JNU fail to control the situation by reaching the campus in time?
Rena Rai, who lives close to JNU campus told IANS on Monday “I was returning home from tution. During the time, huge amount of police were deployed around the university walls and some gates. I felt that something wrong has happened. But if something happened, police must have taken action.”
IANS spoke to many other local residents. Most said that the police gypsies were circling JNU only after noon. In such a situation, how did the masked people entered the campus?
Did the Delhi Police get the intelligence regarding JNU violence on Sunday morning or in the afternoon? If yes, then why did the police not meet the JNU administration before the situation worsened in the campus.
Another question is whether the policemen present and other police officials on Sunday leave were waiting for the permission of the JNU administration?
An officer of the rank of Special Commissioner in Delhi Police told IANS, “Police is alert from past one month around the JNU campus but yes, it is equally important that the police cannot enter any central university without their permission. The same thing happened on Sunday evening, the police gypsies must have been standing around JNU on Sunday like everyday.”
“By the time the university administration called the police, the students were furious. When police tried to convince the angry students, they got into arguments with them. On the other hand, calls were being made to Delhi Police Control Police from JNU campus continuously. Tell me what would the police do in such a situation? So the police cannot be blamed anywhere in the incident,” added the officer.
If police were already present there, then how did the masked armed men come to the campus to assault students with lathis and weapons? When asked, the same officer said, “It is still unknown whether masked people were insiders or outsiders. Only after investigation something concrete will come out.”
This statement of a top police officer puts the university under the scanner. Has there been any error with the university administration in reacting to Sunday’s horrific incident? The university said “Calling the police inside the campus without reason could provoke the students. Police was called when it was felt that the situation was worsening.”
