Archrivals India and Pakistan are at logger heads over Kashmir issue. The coming Republic Day is going to be yet another battle between both the countries but on the silver screen with the film ‘Street Dancer 3D.’

Starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudeva in the lead roles, the trailer of the film is out. Here Shraddha plays the role of a Pakistan girl who comes all the way to London to take part in an ultimate dance competition. Guess what she has to compete with Indian contestant Varun Dhawan.

This tussle of India and Pakistan in a dance film is not explored so far and for sure is going to be watched out for.

When critics have put it down, what made “Venky Mama” such stunning success at the box office is the big question now. Because there are many big films earlier that got a solo release but still they haven’t made as much money as this Venky and Chay starrer did. So what is it?

Apparently many got connected to the double entendre comedy in the first half where Raashi Khanna thinks that Venky is someone who lures every single girl out there. And then, Chay’s double meaning comedy with Payal Rajput, and finally Venky taking Payal’s invitation in a double-meaning mode, have all worked out in theatres. Also, this is nothing but the ‘Jabardasth’ comedy audiences regularly watch and it has the likes of Chamak Chandra and Hyper Aadhi doing it on the silver screen too. Maybe that’s what did the difference.

For people who are loving to watch double entendre comedy all the time, surely the first half of Venky Mama is hilarious and that’s the reason they have endorsed it more than expected. Coming to the second half, the film ran for the second half, and those who don’t logic are enjoying it without any interruption. Fraudster couple’s false allegations on Hyd cops, Apologizes

The other day a couple from Vijayawada made sensational allegations against Banjara Hills police that they were harassed when they approached the cops to file a complaint regarding a civil case. The videos of the couple explaining the assault with date, time and day went viral in the social media. Many thought the couple were speaking the truth as they claimed that they have evidence of police misbehaving with them.

On Tuesday, the media confronted the police on these allegations. West Zone DCP AR Srinivas has denied any such incident and added that they would take severe action against the couple for making false allegations.

Cut to the scene in no time, the couple took a ‘U’ turn and accepted that there is no truth in their allegations. When the police dug deep into the case, it is learnt that Atluri Suresh Kumar is a big fraudster and in the past he duped many unemployed youth in the name of jobs abroad.

On Wednesday the Hyderabad police shared a video of the couple apologizing for making wild accusations against the cops and they added that they realized their mistake.

Well this has become a trend sort of thing to blame the police for everything. In this case the police acted smartly and did not fall for the fraudsters. Now they will look into all the wrongdoings of Atluri Suresh and his wife Pravija and go ahead with legal action.

#Disha Rapists Killed Nine Women Earlier?

The four accusers of lady doctor Disha rape and murder are heard to be involved in more crimes. A day before the encounter, the police have questioned the four and recorded their statements. From the police sources we hear that Mohammad Arif, Shiva, Naveen and Chennakeshavulu have hand in nine rape and murders.

Among the four, Arif had accepted that he was involved in six rape and murders while Chennakeshavulu has involvement in three. All these crimes have had happened on the highways of Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Sangareddy, Rangareddy and Karnataka regions. Based on their statements, the police are digging old mysterious cases and getting DNA reports of the victims.

Before the charge-sheet gets filed, the police want to investigate all the nine incidents and include these things too in it. About four teams are formed to probe the nine crimes and the police are likely to file charge-sheet before the month ends.

Mathu Vadalara has garnered a lot of attention as the movie marks the launch of Keeravani’s younger son Koduri Simha as the lead actor and elder son Kaala Bhairava as the music composer. After promising teaser, the makers have unveiled the trailer today. The trailer indicates that the film is a gripping heist thriller. Let’s find out what’s more the trailer offers.

Young bunch of friends, who are finding it difficult to make ends meet with their meager wages, decides to earn quick money to settle in their lives. They plan a minor theft. But little did they know that it turns out into a big robbery. All their plans go haywire. What forms next is the crux of the story.

Going by the trailer, the film has multiple layers. It deals with multiple issues like unemployment, quick money, drugs. The trailer instantly connects to the youth as it is the prevailing problem. Looks like, the film’s story has more than what it is offered in the trailer. It seems to have enough twists in the tale. Debutante writer and director Ritesh Rana has done an impressive job. He ensured that the trailer is a bit different from the teaser and thus it offers a good food for thought.

Debutante Koduri Simha scores brownie points. He fits the bill. Newcomer Kaala Bhairava’s background score is laudable. Bhairava has put in a good effort. Comedians Satya, Vennela Kishore seem to be giving comic relief in this serious, gripping thriller. The film also has a message to the youth it seems. Apparently young hero Karthikeya is said to have given an offer to Puri Jagan. They say he offered him 10 crores remuneration to direct him, and also likely to put another 15 cores for the film’s production budget. But then, Puri is not in a mood to oblige it and politely declined the offer, they say.

With Puri having the likes of Vijay Devarakonda in hand, and many other star heroes willing to team up with him again, why would the director pick up someone who is struggling to make a mark? TDP Leaders Welcoming Jagan’s Move, But Not Naidu

AP CM YS Jagan announcing three capital cities for the state, created a huge storm in the political circles. Opposition leader and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu called it a ‘Tughluq’ act and YSRCP government is confusing the farmers of Amaravati who have lent their land for the capital construction.

Surprisingly no surprises here, Vizag (North) MLA Ganta Srinivas Rao has welcomed AP CM YS Jagan’s decision to make the beach city as Executive capital. In fact Ganta is the first from the TDP to back Jagan’s announcement and slowly one leader after the other are coming out in support of this idea.

On the last day of winter assembly sessions, CM YS Jagan said that to decentralize the development, the state might have three capitals i.e, Vizag as Executive Capital, Amaravati as Legislature capital and Kurnool as Judiciary capital.

Ganta took to his official Twitter handle and added that Vizag has all the credentials to become the Executive capital of the state. “Vizag is connected by land, road and water ways and if it is made Executive Capital, the city will develop into a world class space and will definitely become an aspiration for the people of Andhra Pradesh,” tweeted Ganta.

On the contrary, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu lashed out CM Jagan and questioned where will the CM stay if there are three places as capitals i.e, in Amaravati, Idupulapaya or Vizag? TDP needs to come out with a united decision that can corner the YSRCP government on the capital. But if leaders say something and Chief has different opinion, then it would be advantage YSRCP.

#Nirbhaya: Supreme Court rejects convict’s plea

The Supreme Court of India has rejected the plea petition to review death penalty of Akshay Kumar Singh who was convicted in Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case in the year 2012.

A bench comprising Justices R Banumathi, Ashok Bhushan and AS Bopanna were formed after Chief Justice of India SA Bobde refused to hear the petition on personal grounds. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing on behalf of Nirbhaya’s mother and Delhi government told the court that there are certain crimes where God would feel ashamed and this is one of them.

Convict Akshay Kumar Singh’s lawyer AP Singh told the court that the age of citizens in Delhi-NCR is reducing due to severe pollution and there was no need of death penalty to the convict.

After hearing the arguments, the Supreme Court bench read out its decision. “We find no grounds for review of 2017 verdict upholding the death penalty of the convict,” said the bench.

The President of India has already rejected the mercy plea of Nirbhaya murders and now with Supreme Court too declining to consider forgiveness, very soon, they might be hanged.

Five men and one juvenile were convicted in the Nirbhaya case. Among the give, Ram Singh died in Tihar jail in the year 2013.

The ongoing mass protests all over India, especially in Assam and New Delhi, against the Citizenship Amendment Act has been building up tensions. The government is being questioned on why the act is violating the right to equality guaranteed under Article 14 of the Constitution, calling it as a differential treatment to illegal migrants on the basis of their religion.

The outrage and uproar over the students’ protest at Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University are bringing in more tension and chaos. But, the so-called activists, feminists, extremists of Bollywood fraternity are seen in utter silence while the students are being tortured. Only a few like Vicky Kaushal, Parineeti Chopra, Taapsee Pannu and Ayushmann Khurrana have spoken on the issue. Big celebrities like Khans, Kapoors, including Deepika, Alia, Ranveer, Ranbir have failed to take a stand or voice their opinions.

On this, netizens and fans fired on B-town celebrities pointing out how they stayed apathetic when thing are going worse in the country. Also, the viral selfie of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Bollywood celebs, taken a few months ago, is being circulated, trolling them. The hashtag #ShameonBollywood started trending on social media with many questioning the Bollywood industry. They blamed celebrities for working in a selfish manner and only think about their profits.

One user wrote, ‘They have no business with our society, they only look at their own work’. Another user said that celebrities like Deepika or Kangana will later do a movie on this issue but will not speak now. The students claim that the act is brazenly discriminatory and it is only a matter of time before its constitutionality is subjected to severe judicial scrutiny.

The proposed amendment singles out a community for hostile treatment. The act aims to ensure that Hindu, Sikhs, Buddhist, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh are no longer considered as illegal immigrants even if they enter the Indian premises without a valid visa/document. Jamia Protest against this law and demand to NO NRC NO CAB as this is not only about Muslim this law violent our constitutional rights.

Venky Mama: 10 Cr More Needed

Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya-starrer Venky Mama has shocked the trade experts. Notwithstanding the mixed reviews from critics, the movie has struck a chord with masses. The film has made around Rs 20 Crore share in AP and Nizam until Monday. As per trade reports, Tuesday is also said to be good.

Now, the distributors of the Telugu states need another Rs 10 Crore share i.e around Rs 20 Crore gross to get into profits. The film’s theatricals for AP and Nizam is sold at 31 Crore and the world-wide theatricals is estimated at Rs 36 Crore.

However, there is a sudden drop in the collections. This is a bit worrying. But strong hold on theatres and Suresh Babu is in no mood to give up the theatres even after the first week are keeping the hopes of the distributors alive. As per trade, Venky Mama would sail through and would be in safe zone.
