Karnataka By-Polls: BJP wins majority seats
In a boost to the ruling party in Karnataka, BJP has won majority of the seats in the by-elections. These results will help BJP to retain the government as it needed six seats strength in the assembly.
After Congress and JD(S) coalition government failed to prove their majority, 17 rebel Congress MLAs were disqualified. For 15 seats the by-polls were held on December 5th.
So far seven constituencies’ results are declared and BJP has won six among while Congress confined to just one. Congress leader DK Siva Kumar accepted the defeat after the majority trends are in favour of the saffron party and added that he and the party are not disheartened by the result.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa celebrated the victory with party cadre and he was joined by his son BY Vijayendra.
‘Kashmir Episode Shot in Minus 4 Degree Celsius’
As Venky Mama is all set to hit the marquee this week, all eyes are on this big-budgeted star-studded film. The film marks the first collaboration of real Mama and Alludu Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. Amidst this, here is the interesting detail about a crucial episode in the film.
It is learnt that the film has a crucial 40 minute episode which plays a significant part in the movie. The entire 40 minute episode has been shot at various locations in Kashmir and it was shot at minus 4 degree Celsius to minus 5 degree Celsius which is extreme cold temperature.
The important episode of Venky Mama was shot at Sonamarg of Kashmir. And the only way to reach the location was through horses. The Kashmir schedule is said to be most tough and extensive one. Apart from Sonamarg, the film was also shot in Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Crucial action episodes and some key scenes were shot in Kashmir schedule. Director Bobby and the whole cast and crew had worked hard to get the best output at this extreme temperature. It is heard that the visuals of this Kashmir episodes would stand out in the film and enthrall. Meanwhile, the technical aspects would further elevate these scenes shot in Kashmir. SS Thaman said to have scored perfect background score for the film.
Karthikeya Scores 4 Flops In A Row In 2019
Seeing the kind of response he gets on social media after the blockbuster success of RX100 last year, young hero Karthikeya might have thought that he became a star already. This was evident in his speech during Hippie’s release. Even though the film had bombed, he thought that it was misfire.
Even though Guna 369 was a decent outing, it failed to make money at the box office. He then thought that his popularity will increase if he acted as a villain in Nani’s Gang Leader. But even that film flopped big time.
Finally, Karthikeya has pinned all his hopes on his latest release ’90 ML’. Since the film is based on an alcoholic youngster, Karthikeya thought that the mass and youth audiences will throng the theaters in large numbers. But critics have given a collective thumbs down to 90 ML and declared that there is no ‘kick’ in the movie.
90 ML fell flat at the ticket counters by the evening shows on the release day itself. The film was sold for 7 crores and getting back the investments looks highly impossible. With this, Karthikeya has scored his fourth straight flop in 2019. Whatever fame he had earned with RX100 has evaporated due to the miserable flops of the four movies. At least from now on, the young hero should concentrate on the stories rather than projecting himself on the screen.
Rajahmundry Touch To Chiru’s Acharya!
The long delayed Koratala Siva and Chirajneevi’s film is finally going onto the floors. It is learnt that the film’s shoot is beginning from December 26. The first schedule is going to take place in Hyderabad. The shoot will begin at Chiranjeevi’s farm house in Kokapet where Sye Raa was predominantly shot. The first schedule will be completely shot in Hyderabad.
However, for the second schedule, Koratala has done a recce and scouted some scenic locations in Rajahmundry. It is going to be an extensive schedule where the principal cast and crew would take part.
Acharya is almost fixed as the title. Chiru is said to be quite impressed with Koratala’s script which has been fine tuned. More details are awaited.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot has got this amazing fanbase after she gave that spicy glamour touch mixed with adrenaline rushing action feats to the “Wonder Woman” character she plays. Back to doing the same as the Amazonian Goddess, Gal Gadot is now coming up with “Wonder Woman 1984” whose trailer was released other day.
As the title of the film itself indicates, the action takes place in the year 1984 now and director Patty Jenkins made sure that the vintage elements are quite intricately woven into each and every scene. More than the action sequences or the peppy one-liners, glamour of Gal Gadot is once again being talked about as she flaunts her ravishing looks like a princess for the fourth time.
As 2017 released ‘Wonder Woman’ was huge with almost $800 million box office collections, the makers are now aiming big with this new film. The film is set for a massive release on June 5, 2020, where it is going to be released on a big scale in 3D, IMAX across India.
Buzz: Heroine Sent ‘Stay Free’ Bill to the Producer!
Producers are the ones who put in money but they have to face all the problems and bear all the tantrums stars throw.
When we recently met a filmmaker he narrated us the woes of today’s producers. He produced a film with a couple of heroines in the central characters.
The producer revealed that everyone is commenting that he wrapped up his upcoming release on a shoestring budget. In reality, he ended up investing more money than he planned due to the ‘extra expenditure’ of heroines.
He narrated us how actresses send a huge bill to the producers while the film is under production and how they make their life miserable.
This heroine (she hails from the neighboring state and her first name has two letters and last name has three letters) comes to Hyderabad accompanied by her mother. Both demand business class air tickets.
The production company has to foot the bill for their extra luggage. They keep the car with them always and the food and beverage bill is equally high.
The worse part is this: the bill for buying ‘Stay Free’ (sanitary napkin) was also sent to this producer.
If a producer refuses to pay personal expenses, heroines cancel their shoot citing some issue or the other, leading to further burden on production costs.
According to this producer, he spent nearly Rs 20 lakhs for this heroine’s expenditure. And she is not event a big heroine. She has not tasted much success in Tollywood yet.
This is how producers end up in losses with high production costs.
Yash Gave Mind-Blowing Offer To Prabhas?
Rumours and Prabhas go hand in hand, as the Baahubali star became a national level hero with that super hit fantasy film, and since then Bollywood media loves to write a lot about him. Narayana apologises for backing ‘encounter’
Hyderabad: Communist Party of India (CPI) leader K. Narayana on Sunday apologised to his party for supporting the alleged ‘encounter’ killing of the four accused in a veterinarian’s gang-rape and murder case.
The CPI leader tendered the public apology for going against the party’s stand on ‘encounter’ killings by police.
After the police gunned down four accused in the sensational case near Shadnagar town on December 6, Narayana had welcomed and supported it saying such punishment is essential to ensure that such ghastly crimes do not recur.
The senior leader had to face wrath within his own party for supporting the ‘encounter’. They alleged that Narayana went against the party’s well-known stand against killings in ‘encounters’ by police.

Director Bobby shared a secret with us visitors in his exclusive chitchat session with Naga Chaitanya on Venky Mama. Music director Thaman got emotional and broke down after watching the second half of the film it seems.
“Thaman gives very genuine feedback and I was tensed when he was watching the film. He said first half was good at the intermission and didn’t say anything and sat there silently after the movie was finished. I was so worried that he would give negative feedback to Suresh Babu garu. But Thaman was actually in tears after the film is complete and I took him to Suresh to show his reaction to him,” Bobby told to Chaitanya.
Bobby also wants to make his own love story into a film and Chaitanya has encouraged him to do that soon.

WhatsApp blocks Cyberabad police’s helpline number
Hyderabad: WhatsApp has blocked the helpline number of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, forcing it to switch to an alternate number for time being, after it received a flood of messages following November 27 gang-rape and murder of a veterinarian.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar tweeted on Sunday that WhatsApp has blocked Cyberabad Police’s WhatsApp number 9490617444. “We are now using 7901114100 for receiving citizens’ grievances temporarily,” he added.
WhatsApp apparently deactivated the number after it received a flood of messages following the November 27 incident of gang-rape and murder of the veterinarian by four youths at Shamshabad on the city outskirts under the limits of Cyberabad Commissionerate.
Cyberabad Commissionerate officials have sent a mail to WhatsApp, requesting it to activate the number.
The gruesome rape and murder had shocked the entire nation.
All four accused were killed by police in an alleged ‘encounter’ at Chatanpally near Shadnagar town on December 6.

You might have heard about this Telugu web series everyone is talking about. And there is a secret that this web series has buried deep inside, but people are not fools to find it out.
Actually this web series deals with the story of a poor labourer rising to power by illegally acquiring a mining region. And how his elder son is averse to politics, while the younger one is quite interested in them, and indulges in murders and other illegal activities, forms the rest of the story.
There was a buzz two years ago that the story of a present day top politician’s grandpa is being made into a web series. Though that talk died down gradually, it looks like the makers of the web series have just changed the names but made the biopic. And as the web series is quite close to the real story, which people refuse to speak about openly, the political outfit that the top politician belongs to is a bit worried, we hear.
As the web series is made without taking any direct reference, there is no legal way to take action on it. But the members of the political party are trying to make sure that the Season 2 won’t come into existence.
