On the eve of Diwali, when almost every big film released a poster to celebrate the occasion, director Anil Ravipudi has come up with a skit video with Sarileru Neekevvaru actors. While the skit brought some laughs, industry biggies are said to have advised people close to Anil Ravipudi to tell the director to stay cautious and not poke others. Wonder why?

Apparently the comedy skit has Vennela Kishore and Subbraju discussing the script of the film. As they are revealing more details about the entry of various stars, Anil Ravipudi interferes to say, “Our film is coming from Sankranthi, not Diwali or any other festival”. In fact, this sounded like an answer to fans of Mahesh who are demanding the movie makers to release some songs and lyrical videos.

Also, some understood this as a satire on their competitor flick Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which is doing viral promotions three months ahead of the film’s release. Though the director might not have such intention, the timing of the video’s release will make anyone think so.

regarding the same, some bigwigs who don’t an animosity created between Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo camps is said to have advised the director to refrain from coming up with such stuff.

Pressure Cooker Teaser: Plight of Engineers

‘Pressure Cooker’ is a film based on the lives of engineering graduates who are forced by their parents to go to the USA and make a life in Dollars.

The teaser of the film is out and it is cut by director Tharun Bhascker who really liked the concept.

Right from the word go we can see how the protagonist is pressured by his father whose dream is being fulfilled by his son.

The latter events in the teaser are quite often seen in our real lives and lastly the teaser concludes with hero and his friends discussing about how to party in Florida.

Sushil and Sujoi are directing ‘Pressure Cooker’ while Sai Ronak and Preethi Asrani are playing the lead roles.

Director Tharun’s teaser edit is great here as he narrates in the entire plot in limited time.

‘Pressure Cooker’ is releasing this November.

Is Uma The Reason For Vamsi’s Exit?

The resignation of Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan is causing ripples in the TDP in Krishna district politics.

Though the TDP leadership is making all out efforts to convince Vamsi and keep him active, the MLA is unwilling to stay back. Interestingly, he is not contact with the party leaders for the past three days.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas Nani, who was asked to hold talks with Vamsi by Naidu, could not establish contact with the MLA.

While the future of Vamsi in particular and the TDP in Gannavaram in general is debated, some people in the TDP point an accusing finger at former minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao as the reason for this disaster.

Uma is accused of dominating every leader in the district politics. It was Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani, who had quit the TDP in July 2012 and joined the YSR Congress.

Kodali Nani had been the darling of the Kamma youth in the district and he enjoys this patronage even now.

He left the party because of the domination by Devineni Uma in the party affairs.

Interestingly, when Kodali Nani became a Minister in the Jagan’s cabinet, MP Kesineni tweeted saying that Nani should thank Uma for this success, meaning that Nani left TDP only because of Uma.

In fact, Kesineni was in dark facing hardships in the party before the 2019 general elections because of Uma and his vindictive politics.

Several leaders from Krishna district feel the heat from Uma as he dominates the party affairs.

The same heat is being felt by Vamsi, which had prompted him to quit the party, besides other reasons.

Though Naidu wanted Kesineni to hold talks with Vamsi and bring him back, the MP himself is not convince. He is understood to have told Naidu that more leaders would leave TDP in Krishna district, if Uma is not cut to the size.

A similar view was reportedly expressed by several senior leaders in the district that the party has no future if Uma continues to be the face of the TDP in the district.

Vicky, Katrina spark off rumours at Diwali party

A video gone viral shows Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal coming out of a mutual friend’s Diwali party together.

Although the two actors emerged from the party together, they eventually left in their cars, reports timesofindia.com. They did a brief photo-op for waiting lenspersons and media crew before going their ways.

In the video, both the stars cut an ethnic style statement. While Vicky teams a sherwani with a kurta-pyjama ensemble, Katrina opts for a stunning ghagra-choli.

Unconfirmed rumours have linked Katrina and Vicky for a while now, although sources close to both stars have maintained that they are “very much single and are not dating”.

The rumours further gained fuel when reports cropped up a while back that the two stars could very soon be working together in a film. However, there has been no update on such reports yet.

Both Vicky and Katrina are officially single as of now. For now, their coming out from the party together has only set off the Diwali sparks in the gossipvine.

Big jump for this dynamic IAS officer!

Remember dynamic and enthusiastic young IAS officer Amrapali Kata?The officer, who had earned an excellent name for her pro-active measures as Collector of Warangal was later shifted to Hyderabad as deputy commissioner in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

Later, Amrapali was pushed into a further loop line post of joint CEO officer in the office of chief electoral officer Rajat Kumar. Since then, she has been lying low.A 2010-batch IAS officer, Amrapali got married to her friend Sameer Sharma, an IPS officer of Diu and Daman Union Territory, during her stint as Warangal Collector.

Since then, she had been quietly trying for her deputation to the Centre so as to be with her husband.

On Monday, the Central government issued orders, appointing Amrapali as the deputy secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, which directly reports to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She would be on deputation in this post for a period of four years.

Apparently, the Telangana government itself has recommended her name for deputation to the Centre following her request. And Amrapali got the lucky posting!

Ravi Babu Interview: ‘I Never Liked TDP’

Actor-director Ravi Babu of “Allari” and “Avunu” fame is generally believed to be an ardent supporter of Telugu Desam Party.

For, his father Chalapathi Rao, a close associate of TDP founder and former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh late N T Rama Rao, had been associated with the party for a long time.

Ravi Babu also directed quite a few political advertisement films for the TDP during the 2014 general elections in Andhra Pradesh, soon after bifurcation. So, it is nothing but natural to believe that like his father, Ravi Babu also has a strong affinity towards the TDP.

But Ravi Babu has a different story to tell. In a candid talk with Greatandhra.com, he said he had never liked the TDP.

“Frankly speaking, I don’t like that party at all. I told the same to the party leaders, when they approached me for making ad films for the party during 2014 general elections,” he said.

He said he had also explained to the TDP leaders as to why he hated the party.

“It was during Babu’s regime that roads were expanded in Hyderabad, leaving no room for the footpaths. I felt he was more like a rich man’s politician, not of the common people,” he recalled.

However, the TDP leaders requested him to do the ad films for the TDP, since Naidu needed an image makeover and only I could do justice to that.

“I agreed to do the job reluctantly and I had done my part,” said Ravi Babu, who designed the concept of “Job kaavalante, Babu raavali” (If you want a job, bring Babu to power).

Ravi Babu said the TDP leaders had approached him again for 2019 elections, but this time he was firm on not doing any work for the TDP.

“I refused to direct the ad films for the TDP. In fact, I was not interested in doing any political ads. One experience was enough for me,” he said.

Talking about his upcoming movie ‘Aaviri’ that is going to hit the screens on November 1, Ravi Babu said the film was not an extension of ‘Avunu’.

“No part of this movie has a resemblance to Avunu. The reason I didn’t cast Poorna again is that people might think this is the third part in the series of Avunu,” he explained.

The story of ‘Aaviri’ is fresh though the spirit angle is genre-specific, he said.

Namrata Had Best Meal at Raju Gari Thota

Namrata Mahesh can’t stop raving about the food here now.She recently went to Vijayawada to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife Bharathi to explain to her the development activities they undertook at Burripalem village.

While returning to Hyderabad, Namrata visited Raju Gari Thota. She said she had the best meal in a long time.

“For all u foodies !! About two days back I visited a restaurant enroute to Vijaywada called ‘raju gari Thota’ …ate some sensational andhra food ???drank some amazing tandoori chai and sealed it with a Meenakshi paan !! It was the best meal I’ve had in a while … next stop make sure u try this place out !! My favourite so far,” she posted on Instagram.

Incidentally, the restaurant is owned by producer-entrepreneur Anil Sunkara who is now producing “Sarileru Neekevvaru” with Mahesh Babu’.

Rashmika will showcase her glamorous angle in her upcoming two movies which will hit the screens in the first two months of the new year 2020.Until now, Rashmika has been playing demure roles. Has Allu Arjun’s ICON Movie Been Shelved?

Allu Arjun is basking in the viral success of “Samajavaragamana” and “Ramulo Ramulaa” songs.Excited by the massive response to these two songs from “Ala Vaikunthapuramlo”, Allu Arjun has now decided to launch a new movie.

Allu Arjun had long back announced a film named Dil Raju and Venu Sriram’s “Icon”. Also, he said he would begin the shoot of Sukumar’s rustic action drama this year.However, he kept them on hold for months. As “Ala Vaikunthapuramlo” is nearing completion of the shoot, he is launching one of these movies.

Sukumar’s rustic action drama that is being referred to AA20 will be formally launched tomorrow. Sukumar’s film has Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.On the other hand, Venu Sriram’s “Icon” to be produced by Dil Raju has been shelved.

Reliable sources have informed us that Bunny was not convinced with the second half of “Icon” that Venu Sriram had written.When he came up with the basic idea, Allu Arjun was quite excited. Later, Venu Sriram narrated the first half of the story, Bunny asked him to go ahead. However, after hearing the full narration, Allu Arjun convinced that it would not work as the second half lacks excitement.

Hence, Allu Arjun is going ahead with Sukumar’s movie shelving “Icon”.
