Director Puri Jagannadh and Energetic hero Ram Pothineni’s ‘iSmart Shankar’ was a blockbuster. The film made huge noise at the box office and it did the same on television.

‘iSmart Shankar’ was aired on television on the occasion of Dussehra festival. The channel, Zee Telugu received 16.63 points surpassing other Telugu entertainment channels.

Hero Ram’s mannerism, style are presented differently by director Puri and so the film generated a lot of buzz.The buzz turned into box office collections and now into television ratings.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar has met AP CM YS Jagan’s best half YS Bharati at Tadepalli. Namrata took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of her with Bharati.

The purpose of this meeting is nowhere related to politics. Namrata wrote in her Instagram that she met Bharati to discuss the developmental works undertaken in Burripalem village. As we all know Mahesh Babu adopted this village in the year 2015 and ever since then many progressive works were held and are still taking place in the village.

Namrata added that she had a productive meeting with Bharati and is looking forward to work in collaboration with the AP government for Burripalem. Namrata is said to have put forward a few proposals which need the government’s consent and Bharati assured all the possible help.

PVP’s Share In Mahesh Babu’s 27th Flick?

While making ‘Ooopiri’, Prasad V Potluri entered into an agreement with Vamshi Paidipally to produce his next flick as well. Prior to the release of ‘Brahmotsavam’, PVP received the consent of Mahesh Babu to produce yet another flick starring him. However, The equations changed after the disastrous result of the Srikanth Addala-directorial.

Actually, PVP was supposed to be the solo producer of ‘Maharshi’ but Mahesh Babu and Vamshi Paidipally preferred Dil Raju & Ashwini Dutt. After PVP moved the court, A decision was taken to make him one of the Producers of the Silver Jubilee Flick of Superstar. PVP obtained Nizam, Uttar Andhra and Krishna Theatrical Rights of ‘Maharshi’ as his share. He, however, failed to get any profit from this biggie.

Grapevine in the Industry is that PVP holds 50 percent share in Mahesh Babu-Vamshi Paidipally-Dil Raju’s next flick. If this is true, You could see the names of PVP in the title cards of #Mahesh27.

‘Sleepwalkers’ stars Gulshan Devaiah and Shahana Goswami. Honey Trehan, Abhishek Chaubey and Lalit Sharma has jointly produced it.

Radhika Apte says the decision to direct the Short Film happened all of a sudden with the Producers showing confidence in her soon after she completed the writing. She claims to have learnt a lot in the process of making a Short Film and willing the accept the outcome however it might turn out.

‘Sleepwalkers’ is based on everyday actions of humans and their expectations from the Mother Nature. It not only entertains, but makes you think with the questions raised. Basically, This Short Film deals with the issue of Climate Change.

What’s Your Stand on Capital : HC Questions Jagan Sarkar

The quandary over AP capital has paralyzed the business sector and several industries including construction, infrastructure industry in capital region. As the government appointed an Experts Committee to look into the options for new capital, tense situation prevailed in Amaravati. Taking a serious note over the dilemma, AP High Court has questioned Jagan Sarkar to clarify its stand on the capital.

Stating the list of problems being faced by judges and lawyers in the High Court, the Court stressed the necessity to end the confusion surrounding capital. It made serious remarks on Jagan administration and cautioned that if State Government fails to create basic facilities and infrastructure, it said it would ensure that the AP government takes appropriate action.

The HC said how judges are facing problems due to lack of official residences and how they are adjusting in guest houses. It said there’s a parking crunch and the judges, lawyers are facing problems to park their cars in the High Court as there is no dedicated parking area. The HC said that there are no seating either for judges, lawyers. It said the judges and lawyers have moved to Amaravati with great difficulty and facing a lot of problems. The HC said AP government should be committed to provide these facilities. In a strict warning, the HC said if AP government fails to provide, it said it would ensure that the government would provide those basic facilities.

The HC also asked the state government about its stand on Capital City.

Remember Upasana Konidela’s tweet over non-inclusion of South Indian film stars in the event organised by Bollywood biggies with Prime Minister Modi? She created quite a flutter with the tweet and got support from various quarters, including DMK leader-actress Khushbu.

But, it now emerges that there were nine South Indians in the group of film personalities who met Modi. Ace Telugu producer Dil Raju, close relative of yesteryear music director Saluri Rajeshwar Rao Vasu Rao and others were very much present and Dil Raju was in the first row when the selfie was taken with the Prime Minister. The fact is the meeting was organised at the instance of director Rajkumar Hirani. Sometime ago, he tweeted to Modi saying he has made a short film to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and wanted Modi to release it. Modi readily agreed and invited them to his home in Delhi. So, starting from the guest list, everything was fixed by Hirani himself. Dil Raju is making the Telugu version of the film and was hence invited to it.

So, why was Upasana Konidela upset? The real reason, if sources are to be believed, is that Prime Minister Modi did not give time to Chiranjeevi to show his latest flick Syeraa. Chiru somehow managed to show the movie to Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, but could not secure an appointment with Modi. Hence the anger, say folks. Well! Upasana herself should clarify if this is real!!

In a picture Varma shared recently, one could notice that a politician is giving his speech and some foreign cheerleaders are dancing around him in some sleazy way. The politician’s white dress with a red towel around the neck, his body langue and hairstyle is mimicking Pawan Kalyan for sure, while the background flex signboard that has a logo which closely resembles in shape and colour to that of Janasena party.

One wonders why RGV is taking every step downwards to make such sleazy films like how he did it with Lakshmi’s NTR earlier. He might have no legal implications, but that doesn’t mean audiences will love this work and support it at the box office. “Resemblance to any person is purely coincidental” mocks Varma, after adding the salt on wounds.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan fans are of the opinion that if they troll Ram Gopal Varma now for this picture, tomorrow the director will turn up on TVs for a debate on this, thereby creating hype for the film without spending a rupee. Hence they chose to ignore him.

He’s said to have shouted on the director and others that he should be called to the spot only after everything gets sorted, but not before.

As director KS Ravikumar don’t want to lose his temper in front of Balakrishna, who is sitting nearby, cameraman Ram Prasad is said to have warned Prakash Raj, saying that it is not his house to shout that way. Later, Prakash Raj left the shooting spot but only to come back after 10 minutes to finish the work.

Had he left the shooting spot forever, surely it would have done more damage to his already dwindling career.
