Ravibabu Reveals Real Side Of ‘Avunu’ Shower Scene
Actor and director Ravibabu’s latest film “Aaviri” release is around the corner, and certain controversies engulfed the director for unknown reasons. Recently some negative news started engulfing and one of them is a rumour that he has harassed heroine Poorna (originally Shamna Kasim) who has acted in three movies of him. Talking about the same, Ravibabu gave clarity once and for all in a TV interview.
“After initially accepting to act in the shower scene in Avunu movie, where her physical depiction shot from outside of bathroom through a curtain will be projected as if someone is watching her, she created a scene. We have shown her a test shot, for which she said okay, but later during main-take she has run away in between the shot, saying that she couldn’t feature in it”, says Ravibabu, explaining the incident.
So what happened later? “I said nothing but asked my team to send her back to Cochin and get a new actress, such that we will reshoot all the 12 days work done so far. But then, Poorna and her mother came back to me, saying sorry, and finished her work. Later we worked in three more films” he added. We must say that there is nothing sort of any controversy or Ravibabu torturing the actress.
It looks like the villainous onscreen acts of Ravibabu are giving an unwanted perception to people, but in reality, he is someone very diffrent.
Jagan Govt Experimenting with APSRTC Merger: KCR
Right after taking charge as CM, AP CM YS Jagan has initiated the process of merging Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) with AP government. Jagan appointed a committee and asked them to look into the possibilities of merger and allotted about three months time.
With this decision, APSRTC employees who called for strike, withdrew their protest and are carrying on with their work. Taking cue from it, Telangana State RTC employees have demanded the merger with government and went for strike just before the Dasara festival.
Telangana CM KCR did not speak to the media till on RTC strike and on the occasion of Huzurnagar by-election results, the media asked about the RTC strike. When asked about APSRTC merge, KCR replied that AP government is doing an experiment and they are yet to merge APSRTC with the government. “Even I’m waiting to see what happens. This is an experiment and not sure whether it will work or not,” said KCR.
The TRS chief also said there is a huge demand for private travels in Telangana and the government will take a call on them very soon.
Sandeep Reddy Is Not Comfortable With Lust Story
Though director Nandini Reddy has rejected the news that she’s making the Telugu version of Lust Stories, actually they are making an anthology film that has ‘lust’ as the central concept. Apart from Nandini’s part, there are three more short films within this movie that are supposed to be directed by Sandeep Reddy, Sankalp Reddy and Tharun Bhascker.
Talking about the same, director Sandeep Reddy revealed that he has actually walked out of the film as he felt uncomfortable to direct a ‘lust’ based movie. “Actually they (Netflix) told me that the story is about honour killings in Telugu states. But later I’ve come to know that it is a lust story and I’m not comfortable in handling that. So I’ve walked out” said Sandeep, who is preparing the script for his next crime thriller to star leading Bollywood hero Ranbir Kapoor.
Already Nandini Reddy has finished shooting for her part in ten days, as she shot with Amala Paul and other cast. We have to see which new director will now join this gang of four and when would the shooting of other parts will get finished. Meanwhile, Netflix hasn’t made any announcement about this Telugu anthology film so far.
Thalaivi In LA: Kangana’s Bond With The Team
With bang-on amazing films like Queen, Tanu weds Manu, Revolver Rani and Manikarnika, Kangana Ranaut has proved her versatility and her terrific talent. Once again, Kangana is all set to entertain the audience with the long-awaited biopic on late Jayalalithaa, titled Thalaivi.
Earlier, photos have gone viral where the actress is seen undergoing prosthetic makeup to look like Jayalalithaa replica. For a realistic transformation, Kangana is making sure to put maximum efforts for the film. With her dedication, we too fell she will live up to people’s expectations. For the film, Hollywood prosthetics expert, Jason Collins, of Captain Marvel fame, has been roped in by the filmmakers.
The prosthetic pictures earlier have been taken in LA and now, once again the team went to LA for the second round of look test. Hoping that Thalivi will turn out to be one of the biggest successes of 2020, the pictures show Kangana with her sister Rangoli, producers Vishnu Induri, Brinda Prasad and Shailesh R Singh and renowned costume designer Neeta Lulla. The gang is seen partying hard and having fun amid their busy schedule.
The combination of the names mentioned above are sure to bring out the masterpiece ahead and we only hope that Kangana is due for her next biggest blockbuster that we are all waiting for. Also, Kangana, who is prominently known for her alleged arrogance and bad attitude with film fraternity is seen mingling really well with team Thalaivi. A big thumbs up for the amicable team.
Watch: Telangana RTC heading for privatisation?
It looks like Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has finally made up his mind to privatise the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), taking advantage of the indefinite strike by 48,000 employees and workers.
KCR, who addressed a press conference to react on the victory of the TRS in the by-election to the Huzurnagar assembly seat, came well prepared to make a statement on the RTC strike.
So, soon after a reporter raised the issue, the chief minister made it clear that there was no way to revive or save the RTC which had collapsed completely due to unreasonable and illegal strike of the employees.
“It is a gone case. The strike will end only with the end of the RTC. Nobody can save the RTC,” he said.
Stating that it is impossible to restore the pre-strike situation in the RTC, KCR said he would take a decision in four or five days.
“It doesn’t require a cabinet decision. Myself and transport minister will sit and decide the fate of the RTC with a simple signature. The very next day, 7,000 private buses will come into operation in Telangana for which I will give permits with a simple order,” he said.
He said the government was interested in providing transport facility to public and it didn’t matter whether it was RTC or private.
“In fact, the private services can provide a better service to the people at a lesser price,” he said.
He reminded that the NDA government itself had passed the new the Motor Vehicles Act, according to which the states can decide whether to continue the RTC or privatise it.
“The act came into force with effect from September 1. We shall go by the act,” he said.

Pawan Kalyan Is Naidu’s Adopted Son
YSR Congress MLA and party spokesman, Ambati Rambabu, took a beating at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, for the latter’s criticism on Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Pawan Kalyan, at his party meeting said Jaganmohan Reddy was not able to fight with Central government on State issues because of the CBI and EC cases.
He said Jaganmohan Reddy was at the mercy of Central government, particularly Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Taking a strong dig at Pawan’s criticism, Ambati Rambabu said that the DNA of both Naidu and Pawan was the same.
Pawan is an adopted son of the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and he speaks for Naidu whenever the former CM is in trouble.
Ambati further alleged that the scrip that Pawan Kalyan speaks or release comes out of the Jana Sena office are originally prepared in the TDP office.
The YSR Congress MLA, who is known for his hard-hitting statements against the political rivals, said that the Jana Sena chief is now outdated like the mentor, Chandrababu Naidu.
“With Jaganmohan Reddy making fast moves for the welfare of the people and development of the State. Almost 80 per cent of the election promises are already implemented and people are happy with the new government,” Ambati said and added that both Naidu and Pawan are not required for the State politics.

The 36-year-old actress has recently launched her make-up brand KayByKatrina in association with the beauty and skin-care brand Nykaa.
“I do believe that beauty does not come from make-up. We do make-up to enhance or highlight the beauty that’s already there in every woman. Adi Oka Dikkumalina Samme: KCR on #RTCStrike
Telangana CM KCR came down heavily on RTC employees who are on the strike for the last three weeks. “Adi Oka Dikkumalina Samme,” said KCR and then criticized the RTC unions and its leaders.
“The strike is completely illegal which is directionless. How can RTC employees go for strike before Bathukamma and Dasara festival,” questioned KCR the media. He reiterated that after Telangana formation, TRS government has increased the salaries of employees by 67 percent and still the employees went for strike without no proper agenda.
“There are 57 corporations with the government. If TSRTC is merged with the government, then all the 57 corporations will also demand the same. It would be an impossible task then. RTC chapter is closed and there is no future for it. Our government will take a decision on RTC in five days,” said KCR.
The Telangana CM also added that in the last five years, TRS government has given funds of Rs 4250 crore to RTC and yet the transport authority could not come out of losses. RTC makes a loss of Rs 3 crore with its own buses while with private buses, it is making Rs 4 Lakh profit.
“Dasara was a good season to make money. RTC employees know this but they did not bother and because of RTC unions, employees turned scapegoats. Despite the losses, TRS government continued to support TSRTC,” stated KCR.
On the salaries and cases on RTC strike in High Court, KCR replied that RTC informed that the court that it has no money to pay salaries and with the strike, it is making more losses.
UK: 39 bodies found in a truck
The Waterglade industrial park in Eastern avenue Grays (which is 20 miles east of London), was left in utter shock after 39 people were found dead in a truck. It is reported that the tragic scene was first discovered by ambulance workers who found the bodies in truck, approaching cops at 1:40 a.m.
The identification of 39 victims and their nationalities have remained unknown yet. Also, a truck driver from Northern Ireland was arrested on suspicion of murder. The 25-year-old Morris Robinson, a driver of the truck, was taken into custody and cops have reportedly spoke to Robinson’s father before arresting him.
Essex Police Deputy Chief Constable Pippa Mills told media that their priority is to find out who the victims were and where they were from. However, British Red Cross official told it will assist in the identification process. Also, charity is helping families and forensic team.
Later, the truck was moved to a secure location at Tilbury Docks, about a 20-minute drive away from Grays, to “maintain the dignity of those who have lost their lives.” One British Red Cross official claimed that it’s the hardest thing that he’s dealt with in (his) 30-year-career. Also, a resident of Grays street, Shafi said, his heart was broken for the 39 people who died. “They’re all innocent people — and there was a child on board. I’ve got an 11-year-old son. I was so shocked.”
As the tragedy unfolded, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for the perpetrators and “all such traders in human beings” to be “hunted down and brought to justice.”
Will Aadithya Thackrey become new Maha CM?
For Bharatiya Janata Party, the election results in Maharashra and Haryana did not come out as expected. While the saffron party was hoping more than 200+ seats for BJP and Shiv Sena alliance in Maharasthra, the official trends are showing a lead for BJP in just 101 seats and Shiv Sena in 64 seats. So, out of 288 assembly segments, BJP+ is leading only in 165 seats.
Even though BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has crossed the halfway mark and is all set to form the government for second time, the numbers are little disappointing and unanticipated. There was no decline in performance of Shiv Sena, which won 63 seats in 2014, but BJP had to reduce from 122 seats to 101+ seats. So, Shiv Sena is now planning to take advantage of the numbers and seek Chief Minister post for 29-year old Aadithya Thackeray, who is all set to win his debut election from Worli constituency.
While the numbers are still coming out, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut spoke to media saying they would ask BJP for 50:50 power sharing in Maharashtra. “We will insist BJP to rotate the CM chair for two and half years and will make Aadithya Thackrey as Maharashtra CM in Shiv Sena’s tenure.”
