George Reddy Wins Pawan Kalyan’s Support

Not just common movie audiences, but a top league star like Pawan Kalyan who has watched the trailer got so mesmerised that he extended his support to it now. Slated for a November 22nd release, Director Jeevan Reddy and his other producers are all super happy with Pawan Kalyan agreeing to promote the movie.
Here’s Why SP Balu’s Fans Are Having A Feast
If we touch any vintage Telugu movie fan, the first name that comes to their mind and heart is that of SP Balasubramanyam. He’s such a legend that most of the super hit songs composed by other legends like Ilayaraja, Chakravarthy and others are sung by him.
But in the era of AR Rahman, followed by Mani Sharma, Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, surely Balu did not sing a lot of songs. Of course, he has sung many songs in recent times but they are either serious ones, situational pathos songs or inspiration songs, but never the new generation feasted on his voice. However, both the new generation and his old fans are having a feast now.
“Nuvvu Naatho Emannavo Nenem Vinnano” is the romantic melody that is resonating with hearts and echoing in ears recently. This song is from Raviteja’s Disco Raja and composed by Thaman, and is about to clock 2 million views on YouTube for the lyrical video.
For this retro themed song, surely Balu’s voice is adding the magic and bringing a liveliness sort of. Old fans of Balu proudly say, “in an era where singers who can’t pronounce Telugu words properly are rendering many Telugu songs, surely Balu’s pure diction wins over all”.
Prabhas Disappointed His Fans On Three Counts
Other day it happens to Prabhas’ 40th birthday and the hunk hero’s fans across the country are endlessly waiting for a special treat on this day. As there are earlier rumours that the Saaho star has planned various things, they felt excited, but in the end, it’s only disappointment that welcomed them.
We must say that Prabhas has actually disappointed them on three counts as fans are expecting that any of these three things will happen. First one is that there is no news about his impending marriage as many strongly believed that Prabahs is going to announce something about it. Let’s say it is his personal thing.
Moving forward, the second one is that there is no title revelation poster about his next film, which is tentatively titled to be ‘Jaan’, regarding which some say that ‘Amour’ is another title under consideration. Amour is an old English word that stands for ‘love affair’. Anyway, no such poster came.
And the third one is that many thought that PRabhas will at least post something on his Insta page, regarding his fans, but the actor shared the video of Katrina Kaif’s new cosmetic line and wished her the best.
That way, Prabhas’ fans got disappointed on three counts, as the actor doesn’t give any special treat on his birthday eve.

MAA Controversy: Jeevitha Says Naresh Has No Majority
Looks like, there is no end to the ongoing MAA controversy in near sight. Responding to MAA president Naresh’s reaction and clarification, Jeevitha Rajasekhar has fired on Naresh’s remarks. Quashing Naresh’s comments that the Movie Artistes Association was run successfully under his leadership, general secretary Jeevitha, vice president Hema, EC members Jaya and Sameer have said that all is not well in MAA.
Jeevitha fired on Naresh stating that he had run as per his whims and fancies. He said there was never a discussion or debate on anything and she said he would dictate as the President and he asks everyone in MAA to toe in his line. Jeevitha said Naresh’s high-handedness and head-strong nature has upset the MAA members deeply. Jeevitha said if any member raises something, instead of answering them and clarifying their doubt, she said Naresh would reply that they don’t know and he only knows everything.
Out of 950 members in MAA, 26 people were elected including President, two Vice Presidents, two Joint Secretaries, one General Secretary, one Executive President and 18 Executive Members. Of 26 members, the decisions should be taken based on majority. And it is said that all have equal responsibilty and equal power.
Jeevitha said 18 members are on their side and only 8 members are supporting Naresh over the differences. Jeevitha says Naresh has no majority and asks how can he passes orders to MAA when he lacks majority.
Pic talk: Shocking age gap between Salman and Dabangg 3 heroine
As we know, Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 shooting is going on a fast pace and fans cannot wait to meet their Chulbul Pandey all over again. With amazing posters and trailer, the audiences are extremely curious for the release. Apart from Salman and Sonakshi Sinha, the national-award-winning actor Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter is also playing a lead in Dabangg 3 as Khushi.
Saiee aka Khushi will play young Chulbul Pandey’s love interest in the film. But the viral photo shows Salman Khan with Saiee during her childhood days. Saiee, who is 21- year old now is 32 years younger than Salman in real life. This brings attention among netizens as the duo is seen romancing on big screens, leaving us confused.
Now that age difference matters to the audience as the coupling are awkward and could be father-daughter instead. But, Salman Khan might make the chemistry onscreen undisturbed with his age-defying looks, leaving the audience to forget the substantial gap between them. And, this is not the first time, as earlier too, Salman romanced many young heroines on screen like in Sultan with Anushka Shamra who was just 28 and in Lucky with Sneha Ullal who was 17 at that time.
Therefore, Bollywood will perpetually have this eccentric age gap among movie couples and no matter how old male actors get, they will still be paired with young and debut actresses. A few days ago, Salman shared the first-look poster of Saiee Manjrekar and captioned, “Hamari pure innocent masoom Khushi”
Karthi Shortest Work, Hoping For Long Run
How many days will it take for completion of a star hero film? By and large, it will take 6 months to few years.
However, Karthi wrapped up his part of work for his upcoming entertainer Kaithi in just 36 days.
Obviously, this is the shortest ever working-days for Karthi who took two years to finish his debut venture Paruthiveeran and three years for his next- Aayirathil Oruvan (Yugki Okkadu in Telugu).
Kaithi is releasing in Telugu as Khaidi and the film fortunately is carrying good buzz, given that the recently released trailer got good response.
With no noted Telugu film is releasing during Diwali week, Khaidi will certainly have an advantage. Moreover, good number of films with Khaidi in the title has scored super hits.
Karthi who is pretty confident of Khaidi gratifying masses is hoping the film will have long run at the box office affirming the story is unique and the screenplay is engaging.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Khaidi tipped to be an action thriller is due for release tomorrow.
‘Dabangg 3’ is for critics: Salman’s jibe at trailer launch
Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan was in a mood to take potshots at critics at the trailer launch of his upcoming film “Dabangg 3”.
“I have worked on script of this film so, I want all the critics to criticise it. This film is for the critics (laughs). If we get bashing for this film then it will be not only in Mumbai but Chennai and Bangalore and the entire country. But if people will appreciate the film then, it will also resonate in the entire country,” said Salman, while interacting with the media at the launch of the trailer in Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
Co-star Sonakshi Sinha, who was also present at the event, chimed in agreement: “Films which gets bashing from critics becomes super duper hit at box office.”
At the trailer launch event, many of the film’s cast and crew were present, including debutant Saiee Manjrekar, who is actor filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter. The film’s director Prabhudheva, and producers Arbaaz Khan, Bhushan Kumar and Nikhil Dwivedi.
Salman’s jibe at the critics was in reference to the fact that his films have traditionally been blockbusters at the box-office but have been panned by critics for their lack of cohesive script and logic.
In recent times, however, Salman films such as “Bharat”, “Tubelight” and “Race 3” have performed far below expectations at the box-office despite also being heavily panned by critics. Salman will hope to turn the tide in his favour once again with “Dabangg 3”.
Apart from Hindi, “Dabangg 3” is being released in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. Asked why he took so much of time to go pan-India with the release of his films, he said: “We earlier released ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ and quite a few films but from there (South), we used to collect Rs 1 or 2 crore. But this film comes under the genre of heroism and larger-than-life story, which the South is crazy about. We have accepted their films like ‘Baahubali’, ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ and ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. They have been huge hits here. I think they are open to releasing their films here and I hope that our films will also do well over there.”
The third installment of the “Dabangg” series follows the 2012 release “Dabangg 2”.
“I am really excited for this film and I am eagerly waiting for its release on 20th December. We have worked hard for this film as compared to “Tiger Zinda Hai” and my previous other films. We have worked 10 times harder in terms of story, production, direction, action, songs and the whole creative journey, so there has been a lot of work that has gone while making this film,” he said.
He expects the new “Dabangg” film to be bigger than the first two films of the series: “The third one should be the biggest of the lot. Usually, sequels don’t do well as compared to the first one so, we have worked really hard on this film. It doesn’t have only action and entertainment but it also has a story. When you (audience) will see the film, you will get to know there is a lot more than just masala in this film.”
“Dabangg 3” is directed by Prabhudheva, and produced by Salman and Arbaaz Khan under their banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions.

Naidu Stands Exposed On NREGS Funds
Former chief minister and TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu stood exposed on the other day, when he rallied all the contractors of the NREGS works, whose bills are not paid yet.
Shockingly, the contractors were all from the TDP, who enjoyed the contracts during the last five years.
Most of them have served as sarpanches, or MPTCs or ZPTCs from the TDP and have become contractors for the NREGS works in their respective areas.
Naidu rallied them together in the TDP State office in Guntur, where he said that the government has to pay their bills worth Rs 2,460 crore dues.
The TDP chief addressed them at the meeting and accused the YSR Congress government of not paying the bills.
The NREGS bills, though the contracts were enjoyed by the TDP men, is one of the failures that the TDP chief had to his credit in the last five years.
Naidu did not complete the farmers’ loan waiver in five years and wants the YSR Congress government to complete it by paying the last fourth and fifth instalments.
The TDP chief did not pay the annuity to the farmers who have given their lands in pooling for the capital Amaravati. There were about Rs 780 crore dues pending and Naidu wants that amount to be paid.
The TDP chief also did not pay Rs 500 crore monthly pension to the landless families in Amaravati where the lands were taken in pooling. The amount was due for these landless people for the past two years.
The NREGS bills to the contractors, besides the bills to other contractors, including those in Amaravati, were also not cleared by the TDP government, despite availing huge amount of loans from various banks.
The present YSR Congress government is struggling to get loans from the banks as the TDP government had borrowed beyond the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRMB) Act 2003.
TRS heading to wrest Huzurnagar from Congress
The ruling TRS in Telangana appears to be heading to wrest Huzurnagar Assembly seat from the Congress party as its candidate established a huge lead.
S. Saidi Reddy of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) was leading by over 18,000 against his nearest rival Padmavathi Reddy of Congress at the end of 10th round of counting on Thursday.
Election Commission officials said there will be a total of 22 rounds of counting. They have arranged 14 tables for the counting process, which is likely to be completed by 1 p.m.
The constituency, with over 2.36 lakh voters, had recorded 84.75 per cent polling in the by-election held on October 21.
A total of 28 candidates were in the fray in the by-poll, necessitated by the resignation of state Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy following his election to Lok Sabha from Nalgonda constituency in the recent polls.
The Congress party fielded Uttam Kumar Reddy’s wife Padmavathi Reddy. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) also fielded their candidates in the first by-election since TRS retained power in December 2018.
In 2018, Uttam Kumar Reddy had retained Huzurnagar seat by defeating Saidi Reddy of TRS with a margin of 7,466 votes.

Bandla Ganesh Behind The Bars, At Last!
Popular Tollywood producer and actor and politician Bandla Ganesh was on Thursday remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by a Kadapa court.
No, this is not related to his arrest by the Jubilee Hills police on Wednesday in connection with the threatening of financer and producer Potluri V Prasad earlier this month. This is pertaining to a cheque bounce case in Kadapa.
Ganesh had been avoiding appearing before the Kadapa district magistrate despite being summoned several times.
The case pertains to Ganesh taking Rs 13 crore as loan from a person by name Mahesh from Kadapa in 2011. He did not return money despite repeated reminders.
Finally, Ganesh gave a cheque to Mahesh in 2013, but it got bounced. As a result, Mahesh filed a criminal cheating case against Ganesh in the Kadapa police station.
The case went to the court but Ganesh had been avoiding appearing in the court, which had no option but to issue an arrest warrant.
Soon after he was arrested by the Jubilee Hills police on Wednesday, the Kadapa police came to Hyderabad on a PT warrant and took Ganesh to Kadapa. He was produced in the court, which sent him to jail till November 4.
It is learnt another financier from Mumbai also filed a case against Ganesh. If he gets bail in Kadapa case, he would be arrested by the Mumbai police, sources said.
The Jubilee Hills police had already filed a case against Bandla Ganesh under sections 420 (cheating), 448 (house trespass) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.
