Hindi Heroes Rushing For ‘VV’ Remake
All the gossip around ‘Vikram Vedha’ Telugu remake has been turned down in the recent times as we heard that Nagarjuna and Venkatesh are teaming up initially and later Raviteja is said to be doing it. But this multi-starrer featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan in the leads got no going in Tollywood.
Unlike Telugu heroes who are unable to leave their egos to choose this film, two top Bollywood heroes are now contemplating to take the film forward. Reports are coming that Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan want to take up ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake. When quizzed about the same, Saif gave a surprising answer, which is indirectly confirming this.
“I can’t say anything about Aamir Khan or the film, but there is no smoke without fire. You have to wait for a while to know the official update” said Saif, during a TV show. But if these two heroes pick it, then surely making the Telugu version of the film will not be that easy, as the remake rights will be soaring.
Directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikram Vedha was made with 11 crores and struck gold at the box office by collecting 60 crores.
Whistle Director’s Dream is to Direct NTR!
Bigil/Whistle director Atlee is in town. NTR Jr’s fans showed their strength at the pre-release event of ‘Whistle’ held in Hyderabad.
When he started speaking on the stage, the fans chanted the name of Tarak and the director didn’t disappoint them.
“My longtime dream is to direct a Telugu film. The good news is that it is going to happen very soon,” he said amidst fans cheering for him.
He was quick to add that it is NTR Jr who has been pushing him to excel in his work right from his first movie.
“Every time my Tamil film got released, I had received a call from NTR. He always appreciated my work and pushed me to excel. He is such a sweet-hearted person,” he said.
This has made NTR’s fans very happy. However, the combination of Atlee and NTR may not happen next year as well.
Atlee will be directing a Hindi film with Shah Rukh Khan next year and NTR will be immersed with Rajamouli’s “RRR”.
NTR and Atlee combination may materialize two years later. Ashwini Dutt is said to have given an advance to Atlee to direct NTR.

Coming down heavily on CM Jagan over the dilemma surrounding AP capital Amaravati, Nara Lokesh has given ultimatum to Jagan asking him to clarify his stand on AP capital.
Breaking his long-timed silence, Nara Lokesh has shot off series of questions to CM Jagan. Lokesh criticized Jagan of building a King’s Palace for himself, but he asked whether the people of AP doesn’t deserve a capital city.
As Amaravati’s foundation was laid four years ago (Oct 22, 2015), Lokesh raised the sad state of Amaravati today after Jagan assumed the CM office. Former Panchayat Raj & IT minister Nara Lokesh said Amaravati is badly affected with Jagan’s poor decisions.
Calling Jagan as “devil”, Lokesh said people are leaving Amaravati due to lack of employment and the city is sporting a deserted look.
Lokesh concluded saying whether Jagan has any plans for the capital city. He also asked whether Jagan is planning to shift the capital from Amaravati.

Actress steps out with price tag attached to outfit
Actress Janhvi Kapoor was recently clicked wearing a dupatta with a price tag on it. Netizens were quick to spot the fashion faux pas and crack jokes about it.
In a video posted on Instagram, Janhvi was seen wearing a salwar suit with a dupatta. The camera followed her till her car. At one point, when she turned around, the price tag could be seen on the dupatta.
The comments section is full of people writing on her dupatta’s price tag.
“tag ..bhul gyi nikalna,” one wrote.
Another wrote: “Did she or her stylist rob that suit from a shop? It has that sensor wala thing attached to dupatta.”
“Myntra return will not pick it up if it doesn’t have tag… that’s y,” a user wrote in jest.
Myntra was quick to respond. A comment was posted on behalf of the fashion e-commerce company on Wednesday. It read: “Flag it, tag it, bag it. Clothes returned without a tag are as good as rag! We don’t wanna brag, but if you follow the steps, your return will be without a snag!”
These Telangana Congress Leaders Never Learn!
If at all the Congress party is losing one state after the other and has plunged into an irrecoverable situation, the blame has to go only to the Congress leaders and nobody else.
Apart from the leadership crisis at the national level, there are always some leaders who do not tolerate if any other leader gains popularity with his aggressive actions. They feel threat to their positions and try to run him down, even at the cost of the party prospects.
In Telangana, the Congress has every chance to bounce back by the next assembly elections, if the leaders display unity among themselves, since the people’s mood is gradually turning against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Though the Congress could get only 19 assembly seats in the assembly elections held in December, it managed to bounce back in the Lok Sabha elections by winning three MP seats. It has provided that the party has all the chance to get back its glory by next elections.
Only thing is that the party needs dynamic leaders like A Revanth Reddy, who won the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat fighting against all odds.
He is trying in his own way to bring back life into the party, but the seniors who are virtually spent forces are not able to tolerate his aggressiveness, for the simple reason that he might emerge as the chief ministerial candidate if he is allowed to take pro-active steps.
On Monday, Revanth hit the headlines with his aggressive move to lay siege to Pragati Bhavan, the camp office of the chief minister, in support of the RTC strike.
In fact, PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, former ministers Ponna Lakshmaiah and Shabbir Ali and many others participated in the Chalo Pragati Bhavan rally and courted arrest at different places.
But some seniors like V Hanumantha Rao, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Kodanda Reddy and Madhu Yashki did not like the aggression of Revanth and others.
They strongly questioned the unilateral decisions of a select few leaders, ignoring the seniors. They decided to lodge a complaint with the high command.
The leaders felt that Revanth should have convened a meeting of the seniors at Gandhi Bhavan and should have discussed the programme.
They said that it was an insult to them as they were not taken into confidence while finalising the programme. They also reportedly discussed on the ways to control Revanth Reddy in the party.
Similarly, it was a different scenario a few days back. Leaders including Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy found fault with V Hanumantha Rao and former MLA A Sampath Kumar for attending the all-party meeting convened by Jana Sena Party chief on Uranium mining.
As long as these leaders quarrel among themselves, there is definitely no future for the Congress party!

Charan’s B’day Wishes To ‘Bad Boy’ Prabhas
Saaho star Prabhas is celebrating his 40th birthday today. Fans and industry friends from South to Bollywood have been wishing Prabhas on this special occasion. Amongst all, Ram Charan’s wish for Prabhas has left their fans amused.
Charan took to his Instagram earlier today and extended his birthday greetings to Prabhas. “BAD BOY wishing u a very happy birthday!!! Lots of love to u,” Charan posted. Interestingly, Prabhas was addressed as ‘Bad Boy’ during Saaho’s release, as the song with the title become a chartbuster.
Charan also posted a picture in which he was seen shaking a leg with Prabhas at some party. Prabhas and Charan share a close rapport with each other. They even made a joint appearance during Saaho’s release in Mumbai.
NHRC panel to visit Palnadu on TDP complaint!
For quite some time, Telugu Desam Party leaders in Andhra Pradesh led by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu have been making a hue and cry over the alleged attacks on their party workers in the state by YSR Congress party leaders and also the alleged violence in Palnadu region targeting the TDP leaders.
Naidu went to the extent of alleging that senior TDP leader and former assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao had committed suicide due to alleged harassment by the YSRC leaders by filing police cases against him.
As if it is not enough, the TDP leaders even lodged a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in Delhi last week, alleging that the party workers had been under attack by the YSRC.
Acting on a complaint from TDP MP Galla Jayadev, the NHRC ordered a probe into the complaints.
It has also appointed a two-member panel to visit four villages in faction-ridden Palnadu region in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, where the TDP accused that their party workers were hounded out from the villages by YSRC supporters.
The NHRC teams would visit Pinnelli, Atmakur, Jangameswarapadu and Punugupadu villages to study the situation.
The commission also called for a report from AP government chief secretary and director general of police within six weeks on the TDP’s allegations that the YSR Congress government was subjecting its leaders and cadres to harassment.
The TDP also complained to NHRC that the government had released 13 prisoners who were involved in heinous and gory offences to threaten, harass, intimidate and annihilate the TDP leaders and cadres.
RP team instigates protests against TV9?
Former chief executive officer of popular television channel TV9 V Ravi Prakash has been in jail in connection with various cases for cheating the new management of the channel, but his team is very actively working behind the screen to malign the channel.
On Wednesday, scores of activists belonging to Bajrang Dal staged a lightning protest in front of TV9 office at Banjara Hills and raised slogans against anti-Hindu propaganda allegedly made by the channel a few days ago.
Apparently, the channel telecast a promo against bursting of crackers as part of promoting Green Diwali celebrations this year. However, the promo had allegedly depicted people bursting crackers as donkeys.
Bajrang Dal activists said this had hurt the sentiments of the Hindus and the channel had been frequently airing such anti-Hindu propaganda.
The agitators burst crackers in front of the channel to register their protest. They were later arrested by the police.
A couple of hours later, the channel management gave a clarification that the promo had been withdrawn immediately after it came to know that it would hurt the sentiments of a section of people.
“However, some vested interests have been spreading the same promo through social media to instigate Hindu groups against TV9 channel. They have deliberately made it viral so as to malign the image of the channel deliberately. It is unfortunate that some people are still trying to project the channel in bad light, though we took off the promo a week ago,” the management said.
Apparently, the channel management believes that it is the handiwork of Ravi Prakash’s team which is working all through the day to run down the channel.
“We have all respect towards the Hindu festivals and their customs. Our intention was only to promote Green Diwali without crackers, as called upon by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the clarification said.
