Mohan Babu And Friends To Rob A Big Bank?
Veteran star Mohan Babu is not coming up with back to back films these days. He’s said to be thinking about delivering some content-oriented films now rather those entertaining masala movies, hence the break. Here is an interesting snippet about his next.
Reports are coming that Mohan Babu will be seen in a crime comedy in his next. How about he and his two friends trying to rob a big bank? Well, that’s going to be the storyline of his upcoming movie which is said to be loosely based on Hollywood film ‘Going In Style’, if some reports are to be believed.
Actually the film deals with the life of three veterans who live on their pension money. When the bank ceases to give them a pension, they rob the same bank, thus settling down in life. We have to see how the writers of this film are going to adapt this story to Telugu nativity.
Recently we have seen Gang Leader with a similar plot where five people suffering from cancer rob a bank, so there should be some newness added to the concept to make it catchy.
Jagan, 151 Seats, 51% Votes Not Permanent: Vundavalli
Known as YSR’s close aide and YCP’s sympathiser, former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has warned Jagan administration over growing anti-incumbancy. Cautioning that 151 seats and 51 percent votes are not permanent forever, Vundavalli said the power cuts in last 100 days have brought bad name to the government. He said the people are not bothered about the reason and efforts of government, but he said the people are only bothered about the final result – power crisis.
Recalling history, Vundavalli reminded that PV Narasimha Rao had got 219 seats out of 275 seats in 1972 and he lost power within six months. He reminsced that in 1994 NTR had got 54 percent votes but NTR was dethroned by Chandrababu in just 9 months. He warned Jagan that nothing is permanent in politics and he asked Jagan to learn from history. He advised Jagan to be in the goodbooks of MLAs and act as if MLAs are important to him. He said the leader should also listen to his party MLAs and make an impression that they are important to their leader.
With such honest advise coming from none other than Jagan’s admirer and well-wisher Vundavalli, these comments gained a lot of political significance. Even YCP leaders and MLAs are murmuring that Vundavalli is correct and hoping that Jagan would follow senior politician’s advise. Will Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy heed to Vundavalli? Only time will tell.
Jagan’s speed in delivering poll promises ‘unmatchable’!
The speed at which Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has been implementing his poll promises seem to be unmatchable in the entire country.
Normally, any government is elected to power in the country for a period of five years. This means that any government has a time of five years to implement poll promises.
However, most of the governments in the country try to implement their poll promises towards the end of their five-year term with an eye on subsequent elections and to seek votes on the plank of fulfilling poll promises.
But AP CM YS Jagan has been adopting an entirely different path in delivering poll promises.
It’s just four months since Jagan became CM of AP with a thumping majority in May 2019 Assembly polls.
Within this short period, Jagan delivered most of his major poll promises like providing government jobs to 4 lakh unemployed youth, launching of village/ward secretariats, regulation of fees in private schools, 75 per cent jobs to locals in private industries, merger of APSRTC with state government, phased-wise ban on liquor etc.
Jagan has decided to deliver one of his major poll promise of YSR Rythu Bharosa on October 15, for which he is inviting Prime Ministe Narendra Modi.
Today, Jagan fulfilled yet another major poll promise of ‘vahana mitra scheme’ to provide financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to drivers running autos, cabs in AP. Jagan sanctioned Rs 400 crore for this scheme.
Jagan has launched the drive to identify beneficiaries for allotment of plots to all the homeless in AP very soon.
With this, Jagan will complete fulfilling all his major poll promises even before he completes one year in office in May 2020.
Telangana CM KCR on the other hand is sitting on all his major poll promises of Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver scheme, enhancement of retirement age for government employees to 60 years, unemployment allowance of Rs 3,016 per month. reduction of age limit for Aasara pensioners to 57 years etc.
When Opposition parties are criticising him for non-fulfillment of poll promises even after nearing completion of one-year in office in December, KCR is attacking them saying, “Where is the hurry to implement poll promises. I have time till five years. I can implement poll promises any time in these five years.”
But Jagan on the other hand is delivering all his poll promises even before the completion of one year in office.

Village secretaries to execute 3-yr bond?
The Village Secretariats launched with a lot of fanfare on Wednesday, coinciding with the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, was hailed as a revolutionary step in Andhra Pradesh for taking the administration to the door steps of the common man.
The appointment of over 1.20 lakh employees were as village secretaries in a single recruitment drive was also an unprecedented move.
However, there were reports in a section of media that the appointment has disappointed several village secretaries, instead of making them happy.
Reason: there is a clause in the appointment letter that the new recruits should serve a probationary period of two years and compulsorily continue in the job for a period of three years.
The order said if the village secretaries, for any reason, leave the job midway, they should return their salaries for the period they had worked along with the training expenditure to the government.
According to this media report, this particular condition of three-year compulsory job will prevent the village secretaries from taking up any other better job offer they get during this three-year period.
“Since chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy himself has announced that there will be a series of recruitment drives to fill up the government jobs, this new rule will ruin the chances of village secretaries in getting better jobs,” the report said.
So far, there is no complaint from village secretaries about this clause. In any case, it is better the government gives a clarification on this three-year compulsory rule for the village secretaries.
