The first look of his upcoming movie ‘World Famous Lover’ is out and Vijay Deverakonda is once again spotted with beard and long hair.

The blood marks on his face and the agony in his face says it all and Vijay really scores.

This is a love story and has four heroines i.e, Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle.

What the protagonist has do with four ladies forms the plot and we have to see how the title justifies itself.

Written and directed by Kranthi Madhav, the first look is overall impactful.

The film has music of Gopi Sundar and is being produced by Creative Commercials banner.

No place to stay for Kishan Reddy in Delhi?

It has been nearly four months since senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Secunderabad G Kishan Reddy was sworn in as Union minister of state for home in New Delhi.

Except during the Parliament sessions, Kishan Reddy could be seen most of the times in Hyderabad attending local programmes.

Except when there are important meetings and official assignments, he is going to Delhi for two or three days before returning to Hyderabad.

Inquiries revealed that the reason for Kishan Reddy not moving to Delhi permanently is that he has not been given official accommodation in Delhi. Whenever he goes to the national capital, he has been staying in Telangana Bhavan.

According to some media reports, the Union urban development ministry has allotted a minister’s quarters to Kishan Reddy at Tuglaq road in Delhi. But it is still being occupied by a former union minister Jayanth Sinha, who has not vacated it yet.

It is learnt Jayanth has made a request to the town planning department to allocate another house to him and he was given a bungalow in front of BJP office where the party senior leader Radha Mohan Singh is staying. And Jayanth has no option left but to stay at Tuglaq road.

As per the rules, the former union ministers have to vacate their bungalows within a month after the dissolution of Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha was dissolved on May 25, 2019.

The centre has already issued notices to former ministers to vacate the bungalows. They are now said to have been given a week’s time failing which basic needs like water and power supply will be stopped.

Seniors stall Revanth attempts to grab PCC

Firebrand leader and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee working president A Revanth Reddy is facing a stiff resistance from seniors within the party for his attempts to ascend the throne of PCC chief.

Revanth, who won the Malkajgiri parliament seat braving a tough contest, has attracted the attention of the party high command. He is not only an affluent leader, but also has a strong fan following across Telangana.

Apparently, he was hinted at being made the PCC chief in November, after he met AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi recently in New Delhi. He took it for granted and started dominating the party leaders with his aggressive comments.

But even before he returned to Hyderabad, several seniors like V Hanumantha Rao and K Jana Reddy raised strong exception to Revanth’s claims.

And AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana R C Khuntia watered down Revanth’s enthusiasm saying Uttam will continue as the PCC chief.

But Revanth has not given up his efforts. When Uttam announced the candidature of his wife Padmavathi for the by-elections to Huzurnagar assembly seat, the PCC working president became furious and questioned how Uttam can make unilateral announcement.

He even asked Khuntia to issue a show-cause notice to Uttam for announcing his wife’s name. Instead, Revanth suggested another candidate Chamala Kiran Reddy for Huzurnagar.

This triggered loud protests from seniors like Jana Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka, who supported Uttam and called Revanth an ‘outsider’.

So, it is pretty evident that seniors treat Revanth as an outsider and don’t want to work under him. On Friday, some seniors brought this to the notice of high command.

It remains to be seen how Revanth will take these developments. Whether he will remain in the Congress or go to the BJP will be revealed in a few days to come.

Viral Video: American troops played ‘Jana Gana Mana’ on their trumpets

A spine-tingling moment for all Indians as an American army band played the Indian National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, during the joint Indo-American exercise in Washington. The video on the same is going viral on the internet.

The video shows American soldiers playing the National Anthem on their trumpets on the concluding day of the joint exercise and it is indeed a proud moment for India. Started on Friday in Washington, this joint military exercise between India and the US is all about the ongoing defence co-operation between the two nations.

Earlier too, both Indian and American soldiers were seen merry-making to the popular Indian marching song ‘Badluram ka Badan’ during a joint military exercise. The video went viral in a short span where all soldiers were relishing the music in a joyous state.

Now, this Yudh Abhyas 2019 exercise is one of the largest joint-running military training and defence co-operation endeavours between India and the US. Both the armies of India and the US will be trained together and execute operations for neutralisation of various threats.

The interesting part was that even female Indian officers took part in this exercise. Also, experts from both sides will hold academic and military discussions to share each other’s experiences on varied topics for mutual benefit.

PIL Against Kodelas Death In TS High Court

A fan of former speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao has filed a public interest litigation (PIL) on the TDP leaders death in the Telangana High Court. In the petition, the fan identified as Anil Kumar has included Telangana government, Banjara Hills CI and CBI as respondents.

Speaking after filing the PIL Anil said, “Being a fan of Kodela, I have many doubts on his death. There is a conspiracy in this and moreover Kodela is not that weak person to commit suicide. Many politicians have cases against them and many went to jails in the past. Fearing cases and jail, Kodela will definitely not kill self.”

Adding he suspected that Kodelas son Sivaram to be behind this. “Just to get sympathy factor, and avoid cases, Sivaram might have killed his father while Chandrababu wants a political mileage from this. I request the Telangana High court to summon CBI to probe Kodelas death mystery,” concluded Anil.

Post the death, Kodela’s nephew Sai too claimed that Sivaram might have a hand and even wrote to the top police officer of Guntur. But the police did not take any action on the letter so far and left it to the Telangana police who launched a probe as Kodela committed suicide in his Hyderabad residence.

TDP ex-MP Siva Prasad is Highly critical, On Ventilator

Former Chittoor MP Dr. Siva Prasad is in critical condition. Earlier this month i.e, on September 12th, Siva Prasad fell ill and was admitted in Tirupati SVIMS hospital.

A day later, Siva Prasad is moved to Apollo hospitals in Chennai but his condition kept degrading. For the last few days Siva Prasad is said to be on ventilator and his condition further went down on Friday. The ex-Parliamentarian is suffering from Kidney related issues since long time.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who is getting the details of Siva Prasad’s health, is already on his way to Chennai. Naidu will meet the family members of Siva Prasad and will also meet doctors who are treating him.

Seems like the whole of the suspended accounts of Janasena Party related think tanks, talk bots and other supporters are back after Pawan Kalyan raised his voice against the suspension on Twitter.

Though some Telugu news media have come up with stories that Twitter India is quite unhappy with JSP supporters for violating rules and publicized that the accounts might not comeback permanently, the micro-blogging site has restored almost all the accounts.

Talking about the same, Pawan said, “My wholehearted thanks to Twitter India for upholding the constitutional right “Freedom of Expression” by unsuspending all the Janasena Party followers twitter accounts and for the timely swift response”.

Also, the Janasena president thanked national journalist Dhanya Rajendran for coming up with a special writeup on the suspension of accounts, which led to many national media discussing it. He praised her for upholding the values of journalism by becoming the voice of the people.

Nirmala announces tax cut, Sensex zooms

The BJP led NDA government in the national capital is doing all that is needed to revive the economy which is said to be inclining downwards. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s fresh announcements have brought a cheer among the investors and the stock markets have started gaining.

The biggest announcement is cutting down the income tax to domestic companies and the manufacturing sector. The new tax rate now stands at 25.17 percent for existing companies while for new companies the effective tax rate will be 17 percent.

Earlier the corporate tax was at 30 percent and considering surcharges and cess, it would go all the way up to 34 percent. For the new companies, the government fixed the tax at 25 percent and with miscellaneous, it would reach 29 percent.

With a difference of nearly 12 percent for the new companies especially in the manufacturing sector, they could benefit huge. At the same time, the new companies should start their operations in the country by March 31st, 2023.

Right after Finance minister Nirmala’s announcement, National Stock Market has gained by 500 points while Bombay Stock Market went up by 2000 points.

How was Sekhar Reddy back in TTD?

The appointment of prominent industrialist Sekhar Reddy as the special invitee in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board in the capacity of Tirumala temple’s local advisory committee chairman in Chennai has raised many eyebrows.

For, Reddy had faced several allegations of indulging in illegal sand operations and other mining works during the Jayalalithaa regime. He was recommended to the TTD trust board by Jayalalithaa during the Telugu Desam Party regime headed by N Chandrababu Naidu.

Two years ago, he was allegedly caught red-handed by the Income Tax authorities while he was in possession of brand new Rs 2,000 currency notes and the CBI, ED also conducted investigations into the cases.

With the YSR Congress party leaders accusing the TDP chief of being hand in glove with Sekhar Reddy and that he had a share in Reddy’s booty, Naidu was forced to remove him from the TTD.

Now that Sekhar Reddy is back into the TTD with the nomination from the YSR Congress party government, the TDP leaders are taking objection.

However, sources said the Jagan Mohan Reddy government was forced to appoint Sekhar Reddy at the recommendation of the AIADMK government, rather than out of its own interest.

“In the past, the NDA government troubled him with cases because they wanted to trouble Jayalalithaa’s aide Sasikala. After she was sent to jail and AIADMK completely surrendered to the Centre, Sekhar Reddy got into the good books of the BJP bosses. So, he came out clean in all the cases and with the help of these bosses, he was back into the TTD as a special invitee,” sources said.

“I expected that the reference of a great sage’s name in the title will add more value to the movie, and also brings good name to the sage as well. But unfortunately, we’re in a position where we can’t dare, and we are changing the title to Gaddalakonda Ganesh” said Harish Shankar, in a press meet late on Thursday night.

“My father who never watches movies called me heartily to praise me for picking up the word Valmiki as a title. But as a person belonging to the Hindu society, today for the first time I’ve been a loser” says an emotional Harish Shankar, who stated that creating disturbances for a film is not good for everyone. He felt sad for the communities of Boya and Valmiki, for not understanding their movie team.

“If we don’t change the film’s title, or if the film doesn’t release in those two districts, there is no direct loss to my producers, my hero or me. We all got our remuneration, producers got profits through business. But if we don’t change the title, those people from those two districts who have bought the film will lose big time. So we’ve decided to change the tile” articulates Harish, adding, “Cinema is above everyone’s ego”.

Harish also gave a knockout punch albeit with lots of humbleness. “Dear Boya and Valmiki community people, go watch the film, and if at any point you feel that the title Valmiki is the apt one for the film, I’ll feel happy”.

Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy reacted sharply on Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy’s comment. Yesterday Revanth said Congress party is unpredictable and also went on to propose Shyamala Kiran Reddy’s name for Huzurnagar by-elections.

This has irked many within the Congress and Komatireddy was the first to react. “Earlier me, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy had differences. Now we have sorted them out and we have unanimously decided to field Padmavati from Huzurnagar and she is the apt candidate. Without any doubt Congress party will retain Huzurnagar assembly seat,” said Venkat Reddy.

Then the MP commented on Revanth’s statements. “We don’t need suggestions of leaders who came in the middle. Moreover, Huzurnagar by-election is Nalgonda district leaders’ matter and Mahbubnagar leaders have nothing to do with it,” added Venkat Reddy.

These comments show that there is opposition growing against Revanth within Telangana Congress. Till where this will go and to what it leads? Tough times ahead for Revanth.
