PV Sindhu’s Brand Value Is At All Time High

It is a well-known fact that professional athletes get paid well for the sports they play but, some earn more from endorsements than actually playing the sport. The young and dynamic 24-year-old PV Sindhu, after bagging her latest achievement by winning India’s first gold at the BWF World Championships is busy in the selection of new brand endorsement deals. It is reported that Sindhu is keen on choosing credible and long-term partnerships that are not fortuitous only after her massive wins.

Her brand endorsement fee is already Rs 65-85 lakh per day and now her recent achievement will bring a drastic hike of 50-70%. So, this makes Sindhu the highest-paid woman athlete in India. She also commands fees comparable to some leading cricketers. Moreover, the market is always looking for cricketers as their brand ambassadors and Sindhu’s recent triumph makes her a promising candidate.

As per Forbes, Sindhu ranked 13th on the list of highest-paid female athletes in the world. In fact, she is the only Indian athlete to feature in this list. This year, Sindhu scored a Rs 50 crore sponsorship and equipment deal from Li-Ning in February which is the biggest deal in the world of badminton. Annually she earns nearly Rs 35 crore from brand endorsement deals. Her current brands include Bank of Baroda, PNB MetLife, Vizag Steel, Bridgestone, Stayfree, Moov, Nokia, JBL, Gatorade and Panasonic Batteries.

With Sindhu having very high potential as a woman brand ambassador, it is also essential to realize that whenever Sindhu plays on the field, it brings more sales and revenue to the company. And having a popular or a top-ranked athlete is the perfect gateway for these companies to reach targeted demographic

However, one picture where Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu interacting, while sitting on a couch, went viral in a jiffy on the internet. Both actors were seen chitchatting jovially with big smiles and fans noticed something unusual on Mahesh’s right forearm. An injury with mild scratches, mostly looking like a small bruise, has worried his fans and started raising concerns on social media, asking what happened to him, In no time this pic went viral.

One might wonder that Prabhas went off the hook after the release of ‘Saaho’ and only met his fans through an Instagram post. But today he has thrown a massive surprise to everyone by turning up at AMB Cinemas to catch a show of his own movie.

Along with some of his ardent supporters and fans, Prabhas is right now watching the 12 PM show of ‘Saaho’ at AMB Cinemas. Without any hungama or fanfare, he has reached the theatre and took the special lift from the parking lot to the M-Lounge, through which he entered inside the theatre.

All the fans are advised not to publicize about his arrival to the theatre and they took kept the news of the social media circles. After watching the show, Prabhas is likely to pose for selfies with some of his fans and then leave the theatre. As media got a whiff of his arrival to AMB already, we have to see if they reach there for a byte.

Meanwhile, Saaho has collected a share of 190+ crores worldwide in its 10 days run at the box office so far, while it has to collect 276 crores to paddle all the distributors to safe shores.

On occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday (2nd September), fans of the actor turned politician have decided to donate a fund of Rs 100 Crore for Jana Sena Party. Even though fans haven’t achieved the target, their attempt has fetched a positive result. Besides making hefty donation, fans of Pawan Kalyan broke the internet by making more than 1 Cr tweets (a worldwide trend) to wish their favorite man on Twitter.

Pawan Kalyan, who left movies for his political career, is totally flattered with what his fans have done for the party. In total, fans and party sympathisers donated around 3 Cr and showed their love for their leader. Reacting to it, Pawan Kalyan emotionally said: “On my birthday, close to 33,000 people donated around 3 Crore party fund. Each one might have given Rs 10 or 100 or 1000 or one lakh, but it is highly valuable and I will consider it as thousands of Crores”.

He further added, “This tells our strength and it did not just come from the movies. So, let’s take inspiration from it and continue to work for the people.”

For the matter of fact, the current day politics are so costly that a measly 3 Cr donation isn’t enough to run a party. Even for a candidate to win as an MLA, it is costing around 20+ Crore. But, considering that Pawan wants to do cashless politics, this is definitely a big achievement for him.

Deva Katta’s Strong Script For Mega Hero!

One one side, mega hero Sai Dharam Tej needs a solid hit as Chitralahari hasn’t fulfilled his thirst to the full. At the same time, director Deva Katta, whose fame still hops around Prasthanam but other films flopping at the box office, is in need of a solid movie to bounce back. These are now joining hands for a film.

“Those who pave the way first will bleed first” is the theme on which this social drama featuring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead is being developed. Though there are very less commercial elements, we hear that Deva Katta has come out with a strong script this time such that they will score a staggering hit at the box office. It has elements related to society, corruption and how few good acts from everyone could lead to a better world.

As the mega hero is busy for shooting Maruthi’s Prathiroju Pandage now, he will be joining the sets of Deva Katta’s movie from December. They haven’t finalised other star cast for the now, but some big names are likely to join the movie. Meanwhile, Deva Katta is also waiting for his Hindi version of Prastaham to release.

Of late, several rural places in Telangana have turned out to be favorite locations for shooting films. Sai Pallavi & Varun Tej starrer ‘Fidaa’ was shot in Banswada (Nizamabad district) and the director Shekar Kammula also captured rural essence very beautifully.

Now, Rana Daggubati’s upcoming political drama titled ‘Virata Parvam’ is being filmed in Parakala town in Warangal district. In order to capture the scenes realistically, the makers chose a natural way to film a scene on lead actress Sai Pallavi.

With a view to avoid the shooting hoopla, the movie unit silently filmed a scene on Sai Pallavi at the Parakala bus stop. The scene involving Sai Pallavi, dressed as a normal rural woman, was shooted from near by shop without public notice. The people in bus stop couldn’t notice Sai Pallavi untill she boarded the bus and finally, a girl who recognised her has took a selfie with her in the bus.

Budding filmmaker Venu Udugala is directing the film, which is said to have emergency period as its backdrop. The film will begin in the emergency period and ends in 1992. The super talented Sai Pallavi is said to be seen as Rana’s love interest in the film. Virata Parvam is likely to touch deep ideologies of democracy, Marxism and human rights.

#BiggBoss3: An Emotional Exit For Ali

It’s a twisted eviction as Nagarjuna announced that Ali Reza is going to be out of the show. There is a logic by Ali for his exit as he says, “Those who got nominated for the first time amongst others got always eliminated. Tamanna, Ashu, Rohini are the examples, and I too faced the same thing”.

However, the moment Ail’s name is announced, the likes of Sreemukhi and Siva Jyothy got shocked and shouted ‘No’ ‘You must be joking sir’ ‘Something wrong’ and so on. Because of Ravi, Mahesha, and Ali, the latter is the strongest contestant who is even expected to win Bigg Boss title like Kaushal last year. But his exit is just a shocker.

The moment the announcement came, Sreemukhi and Siva Jyothy started crying inconsolably until Ali took the exit door. Both were shocked by Ali’s exit like all others, but they are unable to control their emotions it looks like. Siva Jyothy was shattered we have to say.

As the release date of Sye Raa is nearing, there are various tidbits about the film coming out and one such thing is about the ‘hanging’ scene of Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy. It is heard that this scene is going to be the climax of the movie and is likely to give umpteen goosebumps to the audiences.

Apparently, the scene gave a high to Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan when they heard it for the first time, and the output of the scene is said to have come out terrific. As Britishers hang Uyyalawada to death, they ask him if he has any last wish to be done. And the dialogue Chiru says is what amazing, but it took literally 100 years from then to get his wish fulfilled.

Learning a bit of English during his rebellion, Uyyalwada says his last wish as ‘F**k off from my country’. And for British people to do that, it took almost 100 years as they left the country in 1947 while Uyyalawada was hanged around 1850 or so. That type of dialogue coming from a top star like Megastar is going to give a superior kick to the audiences for sure.

Directed by Surender Reddy, Megastar Chiru’s Sye Raa will hit cinemas on October 2nd across the globe in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Nagarjuna Shows Off His New Tattoo

Hero Nagarjuna celebrated his 60th birthday two weeks back with family and friends in Spain. He returned to the Bigg Boss show during the weekend and in the Sunday’s episode, he revealed what he got himself for this sweet ’60th’ birthday.

It’s a tattoo and Nag showed it to the audience in the show. The tattoo has a big snake symbol and on top of it is an eye surrounded by a compass. There is a deep meaning in the tattoo and Nag explained it in detail. Like how a snake gets rid of its dead skin, Nag said he leaves his bitter past behind and moves forward in life. The eye means that it always searches for something new and Nag too wants to do something refreshing all the time eventually it has to satisfy his heart.

That’s a big definition of the tattoo and guess what it was first noticed by Natural Star Nani who arrived in the show as guest as part of promotions of his latest film ‘Gangleader.’ Then Nagarjuna showed the tattoo to the viewers and added he just celebrated his 30th birthday.

The video of Nag getting inked to his left hand was also screened in the show. He underwent a lot of pain as it is a big tattoo but it’s worth that as it resembles his mindset.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is busy shooting for Sarileru Neekevvaru which will release for Sankranthi 2020. The actor is lined up with an interesting bunch of projects that will roll next year.

Prashanth Neel who created a sensation with KGF met Superstar Mahesh Babu in his residence yesterday. Prashanth Neel narrated a script to Mahesh and the actor replied on a positive note. The project will be made on a pan Indian scale.

Prashanth Neel will now work on the script and will narrate the complete script to Mahesh Babu soon. The project may start rolling next year once Mahesh completes his current commitments and Prashanth Neel turns free from KGF: Chapter 2.

Mahesh Babu’s home banner GMB Entertainment will produce this project. Earlier, there are speculations that Prashanth Neel will direct NTR but the talented director meeting Mahesh Babu created a sensation.

Prashanth Neel met Mahesh Babu for the first time on the sets of Sarileru Neekevvaru and this is the second time the duo met to discuss about teaming up for a project.
