PUBG: Teenager hospitalized with brain clots

One of the most successful and trending games, PUBG has left many people as victims of this dangerous addiction. A recent case from Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar district, has nearly cost a life of a 19-year-old due to his harmful obsession towards the game.

The doctors said that the boy developed brain clots called thrombosis. He also suffered from poor nutrition, weight loss and stress. The doctor confirmed that the stress has been developed due to the suspense game in PUBG.

Just a week ago, the teenager was admitted to the hospital after he complained of his inability to move his limbs. The reason behind this case is that the fixation towards the game left him uninterested in eating food and drinking water, leaving him malnutrition and sleep-deprived.

Later, the condition of the teenager went on to become worse, causing thickening of venous blood in the brain and a few clots.

The Sunshine hospital doctor, Vinod Kumar, who treated the boy, said that the case shows the guy used to play the game for six-seven hours every day and lost unhealthy amount of weight. Hs mother vouch for his addiction saying that he starts playing at around 9 pm and ends at 4 am.

The overall cases left the city doctors in complete shock as many are coming into the limelight due to their consequential health issues from PUBG. At the end of the day, one should learn that PUBG is a sheer time of waste and leave you with useless achievements and in rare cases, might cost your life.

Twitteratti Disappointed With Abhinandan’s New Look

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who has been honoured with the Vir Chakra, for his bravery early this year, has flown a joint sortie with Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa in MiG-21 fighter on Monday. During Pulwama attacks and his capture by Pakistan army in February, Abhinandan’s signature gunslinger moustache became the most trending then.

The popularity for his handlebar moustache is massive and in fact, the youth of the nation followed his style religiously. The recent pictures and videos from Monday’s flight of the MiG-21 showed the Wing Commander in a trimmed moustache. On this, netizens expressed their disappointment over their favourite moustache shaving off.

Twitter was poured with sorrow tweets and one user wrote, ‘Happy to see him back but where is our favourite moustache?’ Another user commented, ‘His moustache is the pride of the nation, why did you change the style, sir?’. The news of Abhinandan’s comeback to the cockpit in a newly trimmed look has definitely left many in dismay but the happiness over his joining back is still intact.

Nevertheless, on a serious note, Abhinandan is still our hero, be it with a moustache or without. His valour can never be forgotten. Now that he started flying six months after injuries, people of the country expressed their contentment and happiness over it.

The prestigious Madame Tussauds will unveil legendary actress of India, late Sridevi’s wax statue tomorrow in Singapore and daughter, Janhvi Kapoor has flown to inaugurate her mother’s statue. The paparazzi have clicked some candid pictures of gorgeous Jahnvi at the airport today morning while heading to Singapore.

The announcement on Sridevi’s wax statue has been made by Madame Tussauds on her birth anniversary i.e, on August 13th. However, the date of unveiling is scheduled for tomorrow. On this, Boney Kapoor said that it is an emotional moment for the whole family. Yesterday, both Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi left for Singapore. On the other hand, Jahnvi who left today to attend the ceremony wore a causal ripped jeans and her airport fashion has always been on point. With a simple and elegant loon, she also smiled patiently to the shutterbugs.

One more good news for all Sridevi fans is that the unveiling moment will be live-streamed on the Instagram handle of Madame Tussauds Singapore. ‘I am touched that Madame Tussauds is honouring my wife, Sridevi Kapoor, and her work by having her figure immortalised,’ Boney said. Uddanam Gets A Solution: Good Job YS Jagan

For nearly two decades the people of Uddanam are suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) and due to lack of a proper private and government hospitals in the surroundings, people would reach Srikakulam or Vizag district centre for better treatment.

During the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Jagan had promised to set up a multi-specialty hospital to address the issue. Keeping his word, Jagan had sanctioned a research and Dialysis centre in Palasa along with 200 bed multi-specialty hospital. The YSRCP government has passed on the G.O. sanctioning Rs 50 crore funds for the same.

However, the water for irrigation and drinking needs to be addressed here. Because of the polluted water, the people are getting ill. Jagan also promised to provide fresh and safe water for both drinking and irrigation from the projects nearby. The irrigation projects in Srikakulam needed to be fixed, then only CKD can be completely eradicated.

Saaho Result: All Three Curses Remain As It Is

Before the release of ‘Saaho’, many film lovers are actually looking forward to seeing if the various bad sentiments that do rounds in Tollywood will get crushed. But the result (say the talk around the movie) is not as promising as expected and that might lead Tollywood believing more strongly in sentiments again.

The first sentiment is that heroes who worked with Rajamouli in their last film can’t score a blockbuster with their current one. Charan came up with Orange after Magadheera and so are other heroes. With Saaho going for a toss, even Prabhas has met with the same fate, leaving the sentiment intact.

Another worry that keeps Tollywood people on toes is that films that have Jackie Shroff aren’t going to work at the box office. The likes of Asthram, Shakti, Panjaa featured him earlier, and those films are big disasters. Though Saaho will not be a big disaster, the ‘bad sentiment’ is yet to be wiped out.

Except for some super talented directors like Rajamouli and Koratala Siva, almost every Tollywood director suffered from the second film syndrome. Most directors who scored a hit on debut went on to register a super flop with their second movie. Looks like Sujeeth Reddy who did a splendid job with Run Raja Run tasted this jinx with Saaho.

Owing to Saaho’s decent collections, however, some may not agree that these curses have their full-on effect on the Prabhas starrer.

Producer Dil Raju who has achieved many milestones in Telugu Film Industry is actually looking forward to making his foray into Bollywood from some time. Finally, he has decided to join hands with Geetha Arts and remake Telugu film “Jersey” in Hindi with a leading hero.

After a lot of consultations, it is being heard that Shahid Kapoor has now agreed to star in the Hindi version of this Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer where the leading man is a failed cricketer who aspires to make a comeback for the sake of his wife and son. As Shahid just starred in Arjun Reddy remake and made his career-best figures, many thought he will not take another remake soon. But it looks like he is okay to go in the path treaded by Salman Khan earlier when it comes to South remakes.

Another news is that Dil Raju is said to have okayed Rashmika Mandanna and the actress is excited to make her debut into Bollywood with this movie. Though the Kannada siren had her hands full in Telugu with films of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun in a row, it looks like she wants to explore new avenues.

Other details including that of who is going to direct the Hindi version are yet to come out.

Blow to TDP: MLA To Shift To YSRCP?

It looks like a big jolt awaits Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP, as one of the party MLAs Gottipati Ravi Kumar (Addanki constituency) aka Bujji is likely to join his former party YSRCP soon. As per our sources, Ravi Kumar is in discussions with YCP top brass and he might step down as an MLA before taking YCP membership again.

Bujji started his political career in the Congress party as Martur MLA in 2004. Later, he has won for three successive times from Addanki, but contested on three different tickets. In 2014, he won as YSRCP candidate and switched loyalties to TDP later. Now that his prospects in the TDP look bleak, the 4-time legislator seems to be all set to return to his former party. Talks of Ravi Kumar going back to YCP are widely under circulation and doing rounds for a while now.

On other hand, TDP faced a slew of deflections which started off with Rajya Sabha MPs CM Ramesh, Sujana Chowdhary and TG Venkatesh who shifted to Bharatiya Janata Party. Now, this development will be a kind of another blow for TDP.

Congress Troubleshooter DK Shiva Kumar Arrested

It looks like everything is going haywire for the Congress party in Karnataka. After the coalition government (Congress- Janata Dal Secular) lost the trust vote in the assembly.

One of the major troubleshooters and senior Congress leader DK Shiva Kumar, who has put in all efforts to get back the rebel MLAs of his party during turmoil, has been arrested by Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.

ED has been questioning Shiva Kumar in New Delhi from last few days and finally, he’s been taken into custody on Tuesday evening. Given that Shiva Kumar is taken into custody only few days after JDS-Congress govt collapsed, it has become the biggest talking point in political circles.

ED has been questioning DK Shiva Kumar in connection with Rs 8 cr unaccounted amount that was recovered by the Income Tax officials in 2017 when they conducted raids on his properties.

Ajay Bhupathi seems to have frustrated with his non-happening career. He left cryptic tweet ‘Cheap Star’ on his social media platform making everyone wondering who the star is.

Ajay Bhupathi, who is better known as the director of “RX100”, has narrated the story of “Maha Samudram” to Ravi Teja in the recent past.

It was reported that Ravi Teja who was so much impressed with his story even came forward to co-produce it.

When everything was looking great, Ravi Teja has declined to go ahead with this movie and he has given his nod to director Gopichand Malineni in the place of “Maha Saumdram”.

Miffed Ajay Bhupathi, who already did rounds to various stars like Naga Chaitanya and Ram Pothineni, has been waiting for a platform to vent his anger.

It is not clear whether he is talking about Ravi Teja with this tweet but it certainly dragged him into this controversy.

Ajay Bhupati has been struggling to launch his second film despite his maiden film “RX100” turning out to be a roaring hit.

When the film became a huge hit, it seemed that he would become a big director and he would be flooded with many offers. However, he has been going from one hero to another hero to convince them to give dates for his movie.

It looks like he’s disturbed by Ravi Teja’s act of putting his movie aside after giving his agreement initially.

Sonia okays Revanth as PCC chief?

If reports coming from New Delhi are to be believed, firebrand Congress leader and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy is going to be appointed as Pradesh Congress Committee president of Telangana.

Revanth Reddy, who rushed to New Delhi on Monday evening following a call from the party high command, met All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday morning, along with his family members, including wife and children.

“He had a lengthy discussion with Sonia for over half an hour on the prevailing political situation in Telangana and the prospects of the Congress in the coming days. He explained the need for overhauling of the party with young blood,” sources close to Revanth said.

Though Sonia did not make any official announcement on Revanth’s appointment as the PCC chief, she gave enough hints to that effect. She told him to take up the responsibility of strengthening the party from grassroots level to the state level, sources said.

If Revanth’s appointment is confirmed, it might also trigger a lot of revolt in the party, as he was not even a year old in the party and seniors like V Hanumantha Rao and Renuka Chowdary would strongly oppose Revanth’s leadership.

Moreover, it might also antagonize the Dalit and OBC sections, who have been demanding that the PCC chief post should be given to them. However, if Sonia can convince these sections, it might have some effect, sources said.
