The Director of Largo Winch Responds On Saaho!
Director Sujeeth claimed Saaho as his brainchild, but it is clear that he was heavily inspired by French action film Largo Winch.
Interestingly, Trivikram’s disastrous Agnyathavaasi was also based on the same film. Sujeeth went ahead with his inspired version in spite of seeing the fate of Trivikram’s film.
While Saaho is receiving flak as well as setting box office on fire at the same time, the director of Largo Winch took to Twitter to respond on his work being ‘copied’ by an Indian director for the second time.
“It seems this second “freemake” of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly? And as my “Indian career” tweet was of course ironic, I’m sorry but I’m not gonna be able to help. (sic)” tweeted Jerome Salle, the director of the French film Largo Winch.
Before that he responded “I think I have a promising career in India,” when one of Saaho audience tweeted him about the Largo Winch inspiration in Saaho.
It seems this second “freemake” of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly?

Jr NTR & Allu Arjun: Why You Don’t Pick Such Films?
With hero Nithin signing the Telugu remake of “Andhadhun” movie, one more film that should have got more craze if a top star okays it, has gone. Earlier many big heroes rejected to star in the Telugu remake of Vikky Donor until Sumanth picked it up. The film didn’t work at the box office.
Coming to Andhadhun movie, if heroes like Allu Arjun and Jr NTR, who are sitting idle for more than a year before their current ventures, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo and #RRR respectively, went on to the floors. One wonders what made them not pick Andhadhun as that film has a lot of scopes to show acting mettle with Ayushma Khurana winning National Award for his blind man’s portrayal.
In case if one of them had picked Andhadhun, the shooting would have been done in just two months time and easily under 6-10 crores of production expenditure excluding hero’s remuneration. Also, the film would have easily collected 50-60 crores even though only one section of audiences will like it. If Bunny or Tarak produced the films themselves, then surely it would have become a 40-50 crores profitable venture for them.
Tamilisai As Telangana Governor, Dattatreya To HP
In a major rejig, the centre has announced the appointment of the Governors for five Indian states. 4-time BJP MP from Secunderabad constituency and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
On the other hand, Tamil Nadu BJP President Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has been made the Governor of Telangana. Dr Tamilisai has been a loyal BJP supporter since 1999. She will replace the former Governor K Narasimhan in Telangana.
The centre has also appointed Kalraj Mishra, the present Governor of Himachal Pradesh, as the Governor of Rajasthan. And then, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the current Governor of Maharashtra, has been transferred as the Governor of Maharashtra. Finally, Arif Mohammed Khan, former Union Minister of Civil aviation and Energy, is appointed as the Governor of Kerala.
All the above five leaders are senior BJP leaders, and the Modi-led government’s latest move to appoint them as the Governors is being seen as a giant step to consolidate the party’s prospects in the respective states.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Buchipudi Sambasiva Reddy has been appointed as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. In the presence of Deputy CM and Health minister Alla Nani, Sambasiva Reddy took oath as the chairman.
Dr. Sambasiva Reddy was the key person in CM YS Jagan’s infamous ‘Kodi Katthi’ case. He was the one who examined Jagan’s injury and prescribed the medication for Jagan.
On Thursday, the YSRCP government has cancelled the old council appointed by the previous TDP government and formed a new council with 10 members. Except for one person, the rest of the members have took oath with the assistance of Health Department chief secretary Jawahar Reddy.
The new council members are Dr. Rajyalakshmi, Somasekhar, Registered Medical Practioners Sambasiva Reddy (Guntur), Varaprasad Rao (Eluru), Vijay Kumar Prasad Reddy (Anantapur), Dr. Babji, Public Health Manager Geetha Prasadini, Health Vidana Parishad commissioner Durga Prasad and NTR Health University Vice-Chancellor CV Rao.
After the swearing-in ceremony, the council met and elected Sambasiva Reddy as chairman and Dr. Rajyalakshmi as vice-chairperson. After this Alla Nani called on the new council and held a review meeting and sent directives to them based on CM Jagan’s instructions.
205 Crs In 2 Days: Saaho Storm Is Unstoppable
It looks like the Saaho storm is unstoppable at least for the next few days. The film’s box office collections across the globe reiterate Prabhas’ humongous popularity, which is almost on par with some of the top league Bollywood stars.
Yesterday, UV Creations, the production house that bankrolled Saaho with a staggering budget of Rs 350 crores, announced that the film had grossed Rs 130 crores across the globe on its opening day.
And now, UV Creations has released yet another poster, announcing that Saaho has grossed Rs 205 crores in just 2 days.
Needless to say, these numbers will surely put a smile on the buyers’ faces, even as Saaho is all set for yet another humongous outing on Sunday, and is expected to collect another Rs 75 crores gross.
On the other hand, Bollywood trade analysts and stars are awestruck by Saaho’s collections increasing with each passing day despite the underwhelming reviews given by noted Bollywood critics.
Sukumar Failed To Impress Allu Arjun?
Star director Sukumar is yet to impress Allu Arjun who announced his twentieth film with the Rangasthalam director.
According to the buzz, Sukumar couldn’t come up with a convincing second half for his script based on Red Sanders smuggling.This was the reason why Mahesh decided to let go off this script and apparently the director hasn’t find a way around to get a nod from Allu Arjun.
Sukumar is under tremendous pressure with Mythri Movie Makers waiting to launch this film as soon as possible.But the director seems to be struggling with ‘writer’s block’, which has kept him off the sets for more than a year now.
Sukumar was confident that his fresh draft will get the thumbs up from Allu Arjun, but that didn’t happen.Time is running out for Sukumar as Allu Arjun will move on to his next film from December. Sriram Venu and Dil Raju are ready with Icon that is almost done with its pre production work.
If Sukumar cannot come up with a convincing script in his next sitting with Allu Arjun, then Icon will be announced as the actor’s immediate film after Ala Vaikuntapuramulo.
