Rashmi Rocket: Yet Another Makeover For Tapsee!
Films done by Tapsee Pannu since her migration to Mumbai has been pretty impressive. She has now become the first choice for either hard-hitting or inspiring female-centric films. After ‘Baby’, ‘PINK’, ‘MULK’, ‘Badla’ and ‘Soorma’, She now turned into Rashmi Rocket which is the fictional story of an Athlete.
Runner Rashmi hailing from Kutch is fondly called as ‘Rocket’. This sports-backdrop flick is based on the path travelled by Rashmi to showcase her talent and the battle fought for honour. Akarsh Khurana is the director of this flick. RSVP and Mango People Media Network banners bankrolled this project jointly.
While launching the motion poster, Akshay Kumar wrote, ‘This ROCKET is set for her next MISSION and she’s off to the tracks!’
Dad Must Watch Sye Raa In This Theatre: Charan
Ram Charan inaugurated V Celluloid in Sulurupeta Town. The Multiplex comprises of Asia’s Biggest and 3rd Biggest Screen in the World.
Post the inauguration, Charan opined: ‘Watching a movie on such a gigantic screen guarantees wonderful experience. I congratulate UV Creations Vamshi and Vikram for building a worldclass theatre. ‘Sye Raa’ will be screened in this theatre from October 2nd. I wish to watch the prestigious project on this big screen. Even Dad should watch ‘Sye Raa’ in this theatre. Producer NV Prasad should take the responsibility of bringing him to here’.
YCP MLAs Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Kakani Govardhan took part in the inauguration. They were all praise for the state-of-the-art infrastructure in the multiplex.
UV Creations spent Rs 40 crore for building the 3-screen Multiplex. While giant screen theatre is 647-seater, Other two theatres have 140 seats each. Trailers of Saaho and Sye Raa were screened during the inauguration.
After Agnyaathavaasi, Saaho Copied Largo Winch!
‘Largo Winch’, 2008 French Action Thriller, led to a serious discussion after the release of ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. Director of the French Flick had even initiated legal action against makers of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer for lifting many scenes without acquiring the rights.
On the release day of ‘Saaho’, Hashtag #LargoWinch kept trending. The plot of the Prabhas-starrer looks similar to that of ‘Largo Winch’. Undercover Cop sub-plot was used by Sujeeth to make audience believe that it’s an original script. Movie Buffs are intelligent enough analyse the similarities between both the projects. Wat will the makers of Largo Winch do now? Will they initiate legal action against yet another Indian flick?
‘Saaho’ opened to mixed response at the Box Office. Majority of the Movie Lovers who watched the biggie reacted negatively. Yet, ‘Saaho’ is expected to created All Time Day 1 record in the Telugu States with a mammoth opening. It has to collected as much as possible in the first weekend or else the losses could be massive.

Screams:
First of all, fans felt it a high today morning in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as they screamed in excitement. Fans in towns like Bhimavaram and far away places like UP and Bihar got the excitement about Prabhas and his coming back to the silver screen after Baahubali series. People have spent lots of time waiting for the film, and a bit of hiked money to own the tickets.
Thrills:
The interval twist and the climax sequences of the film are a bit thrilling for sure in this otherwise haphazard narrative that only succeded in testing patience of Telugu audiences. And the major thrill came before entering theatres as well as hundreds are people stormed to theatres on Friday morning to catch up the show.
Disappointments:
Some fans even resorted to destroying the makeshift furniture inside a theatre, and that explains the volumes of disappointment that clouded up Prabhas’ fans after they watched the film. At the same time, some first-day records are also not happening for the film as they have expected.
NBW Against Renuka Chowdary
A Khammam court has issued non-bailable warrant against former MP and Congress leader Renuka Chowdary in a cheating case. A woman by name Kalavathi has filed a case against Renuka and she alleged that the Congress leader assured to give MLA ticket to her husband and took money. However, Kalavathi’s husband did not get MLA ticket and so she demanded her money back.
With Renuka refusing to repay the lady, the latter approached the court. After filing the cheating case, the court summoned Renuka with notices. But Renuka declined to accept the notices and also failed to appear before the court on a couple of occasions.
Expressing anger on Renuka, the second additional first-class magistrate has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against her. Kalavathi claimed that she pleaded Renuka to repay her money and even knocked AICC leaders to complain against Renuka and Khammam police. The cops refused to file a case as Kalavathi has no evidence. With minimal options, Kalavathi directly filed a court case.
Lokesh Credits Chandrababu For PV Sindhu’s Gold: Troll Fest Follows
A couple of days ago, ‘golden girl’ PV Sindhu created history by clinching India’s first ever gold medal at the World Badminton Championships in Switzerland. The entire country is proud of Sindhu’s glorious achievement.
Meanwhile, former TDP minister and Nara scion Nara Lokesh pulled off a hilarious stunt what he took to his Twitter and credited Sindhu’s gold medal feat to his father and former AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
Calling his father a ‘visionary’, Lokesh said that Chandrababu, when he was the CM of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, had allotted 5 acres of land to PV Sindhu’s coach and Indian badminton legend Pullela Gopichand. Lokesh went on to say that Gopichand had set up a badminton academy in that land and shaped up several gems like Sindhu.
While Lokesh’s tweet has found some support among the TDP’s loyal followers, it also led to a troll festival. Many YSRCP supporters and netizens trolled Lokesh for his opportunistic tweet. Many said that Chandrababu may have given the land but it was Gopichand’s commitment and Sindhu’s hard work that made all the difference.

Actress Jumps To Death From Terrace
An Aspiring Actress by name Pearl Punjabi committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of her apartment in Oshiwara, Mumbai.
Pearl Punjabi wished to prove her mettle in the glamour world but wasn’t able to achieve what she wanted. This isn’t the first instance of the Actress attempting suicide. Earlier, She attempted killing herself on two occasions. Pearl was mentally disturbed and used to fight with her Mother frequently. She might have taken the extreme step due to depression. Police registered suicide case and carrying out the investigation.
As per Apartment Security Guard Bipin Kumar Thakur, ‘This incident took place at midnight between 12.15 am to 12.30. There was a huge sound all of a sudden. We assumed somebody might be fighting on the road. I went upstairs to see what has happened. Saw a lady lying on the floor upon reaching the third floor’
Kavitha to replace KTR as TRS Working President?
The TRS party sources are widely speculating that Working President KT Rama Rao will soon be inducted into the cabinet and Telangana CM KCR will take a final decision on the date for cabinet expansion. This speculation also gave rife to another news and it is related to former Nizamabad MP Kavitha.
Well, Kavitha is likely to replace her brother KTR as TRS Working President. KCR will certainly give important portfolios to KTR if he is made minister and the latter will have no time to handle government and party activities together. So in order to ease things for KTR, KCR is said to be considering Kavitha’s name for Working President role.
There is still no update on Siddipet MLA Harish Rao’s future. But KCR’s plans to prefer Kavitha over Harish Rao will certainly split the cadre. They accepted when KCR chose KTR over Harish but this time it will be different scenario. Already many are upset that Harish is being sidelined and if this continues, the dissent in the party could grow.
At the same time we have to assess whether Kavitha is capable of handling party activities as Working President. She will have to travel a lot all over the Telangana to strength the cadre. It will not be an easy task. KTR tried his bit and he partially failed and succeeded with the Parliament elections getting mixed results. KTR is also in race to shoulder the municipal elections. We have to see what strategies KCR will draw for son and daughter while nephew is taking his own route.
Samantha’s Last Film: PV Sindhu’s Biopic?

Apparently, Samantha will wrap the shooting of Tamil film ’96’ remake after coming back from Spain. RGV: Rajulu’s Caste Feeling On Prabhas Raju
None other would have dared to put it that way, but director Ram Gopal Varma made sure that he gets something from the public to promote his latest ‘Caste Feeling’ song. And here is what he says.
Sharing the video that has a road in Bhimavaram town that displayed a lengthy flex banner wishing Saaho movie a grand success, Varma wrote “Rajulu’s CASTE FEELING on PRABHAS RAJU on Bhimavaram Roads”.
This is definitely a tweet put up to promote the song ‘Caste Feeling’ from his upcoming film ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’. Because in reality, the town of Bhimavaram has a considerable population of Raju community but then it has huge numbers of Kapu community followed by many other castes. And it is foolish to say that Prabhas has fans from the Raju community alone, as we all know Prabhas is now a PAN India star after Baahubali.
It’s not like Varma doesn’t know about this fact, but all he needs is getting some sort of publicity for his own work through the craze Prabhas has.
PV Sindhu’s story takes a turn
On Wednesday India’s ace badminton starlet, Telugu pride PV Sindhu has met Telangana CM KCR as a courtesy and has even gifted him two badminton rackets with which she played World Badminton Championship where she won Gold Medal, becoming the first Indian to do so.
After seeing all these incidents, one couldn’t stop raving about this. Actually, there are two films coming up, of which is PV Sindhu’s biopic and the other one is coach Pullela Gopichand’s biopic, and they got a new climax one.
First, we have PV Sindhu biopic that is being produced by Sonu Sood where the actor will also play the role of coach Gopichand. Though an actress is yet to be locked to play Sindhu, Sonu Sood confirmed that they are changing the film’s climax now. Because Sindhu is the first Indian to win BWF World Champion, what could be a better climax than this.
Looking at this feat, now the film that features Sudheer Babu in the role of Gopichand, a biopic that will be directed by Praveen Sattaru, is also going for a climax change. With Gopi being the man behind Sindhu and also the first witness of her Gold feat, surely the scene needs to be added.
Saaho USA Premiere Collections
‘Saaho’ released Today with high expectations. Advance Bookings has been good all over the World and the film is expected to cross at least few opening records.By 10 PM, ‘Saaho’ collected USD 800K from 290 locations in the United States. There is every possibility of joining the $1 million club with the premieres itself.
Considering the budget and high expectations, ‘Saaho’ USA Premiere revenue could have been much better. The revenue generation in Overseas isn’t fantabulous but just decent. No way ‘Baahubali 2’ record will be shattered in this territory.
As per the early reports, ‘Saaho’ is getting mixed response. Fate of this Prabhas-starrer depends a lot on the First Weekend Revenue.
