Prabhas’s previous film Baahubali 2 has not only shattered the Tollywood records but also the Indian cinema records and has set a bar too high for any film to reach.
No wonder other top stars had to compete for the second spot (in fact third place), that are famously referred to as Non-Baahubali records.
Most of the credit of Baahubali was given to Rajamouli’s vision and execution, but we cannot take anything away from Prabhas who brought the fictional character to life.
It is a huge burden on any actor to meet the humongous expectations after such a gargantuan success.
Prabhas is smart enough to choose a film that caters to pan Indian audience and of a scale that is on par with Baahubali.

Director Harish Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to make Valmiki a mass entertainer.He got the super hit ‘Yelluvochi Godaramma’ song from Raghavendra Rao’s Devatha remixed for Valmiki.Mega Prince Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde will step into the shoes of Late Shoban Babu and Late Sridevi for this remix.
The song is currently being shot in and around Rajahmundry on the banks of Godavari river.Varun Tej is playing the role of a gangster turned movie star in this remake of Tamil cult film Jigarthanda.Varun will be rocking various retro getups from the seventies and eighties Telugu cinema in Valmiki.

Trailer Talk: Zoya Factor Looks Like a Refreshing Quirky Comedy
Dulquer Salmaan is undoubteld one of the most exciting talents of the current generation. After proving his talent in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu industries, Dulquer forayed into Bollywood last year with the film Karwaan. Even though that didn’t give him the fame he deserves, the actor managed to grab his second Hindi offer very soon.
He was signed up to star in the lead role alongside stalwart Sonam Kapoor in the film The Zoya Factor. It is an adaptation of the same book written in 2014. The theatrical trailer of this movie has dropped on the internet just a while ago and looking at it, it looks like a full-on romantic comedy.
The film follows the story of Zoya, who becomes a lucky charm for a cricketer and her luck eventually helps him to win the World Cup in the year 2011. The pair of Dulquer and Sonam is amazing and it seems that the film might hit the right chords with the audience. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, this film is all set to hit the screens on September 20.
Akhil, Nivetha & a Thriller
Akhil Akkineni has been eagerly waiting to score a proper hit at the box office. The actor whose previous outing ‘Mr Majnu’ also ended up as a disaster at the box office is now going to join hands with Bommarillu Bhaskar.
Bunny Vaas is bankrolling this project whereas Allu Aravind is presenting this film. The shooting of the movie is going on with brisk pace. After wrapping up this project, Akhil is going to do his next project with ‘Awe’ and ‘Kalki’ fame Prashanth Varma. If the buzz is to be believed, just like ‘Kalki’, Prashanth has penned an interesting thriller for Akhil as well. Many rumours about the female lead of this film came out but the official announcement is still awaited. As per the latest reports, Malayali beauty Nivetha Thomas is who recently scored a super hit with ‘Brochevarevarura’ is on board for this film.

Real Story Behind Janhvi’s Interest In South
A couple of days back, popular producer Boney Kapoor released a press note rubbishing the rumors that his daughter Janhvi Kapoor is ignoring South film offers as she is not interested to get down the South in the very early stages of her career. But the situations seems contrary to whatever Boney has said to the media.
According to the sources, a couple of producers who showed interest in roping Janhvi on board has a different story to tell.
Apparently, Janhvi has been approached by Charmme to play the female lead role in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Fighter, which is being directed by Puri Jagannath. The Dhadak actress quoted Rs. 4 crores as remuneration excluding GST. She charged extra for her flights, accommodation in a 7-star hotel and expenses of her personal staff. All this ends up the pay at Rs. 5 crores. Charmme is trying to negotiate with Janhvi to agree on the whole package at Rs. 2.5 crores but the latter is in no mood to do so.
Another producer is also said to have approached Janhvi but she is said to have put too many conditions and the producer had to call off his plan to introduce her in Telugu.
To be honest, Janhvi is just one film old and her demands are no less than a star actress like Deepika Padukone. If she is very much keen on doing South films, she would focus on content rather than the remuneration. Since the rumors already started floating in the media, Boney Kapoor tried to control the damage by sending the press note that his daughter is keen on doing South films. They must realize that it can only happen when they cut down their demands.
