Yesterday, popular producer Dil Raju arranged a press meet along with the producers of Gang Leader and Valmiki and announced that Valmiki’s release has been pushed from September 13th to avoid clashing with Gang Leader. Now, the film will hit the screens worldwide on the 20th of September.

Starring Mega Prince Varun Tej in the lead role, Valmiki is a gangster comedy directed by Harish Shankar. Varun is in a phenomenal form by scoring hits like Fidaa, Tholiprema, and F2. His market has expanded and people are eager to watch his new film. On the other side, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Syeraa Narasimha Reddy is slated for the release on October 2.

Thus, within a gap of 12 days, two big films are coming on the screens from mega family. The festivities for the fans begin right from September 20th and if both the films perform big at the box office, there will be no boundaries for their ecstasy. The celebrations will continue till Dussera if both the movies manage to click at the box office.

Sandalwood star, Action Prince Dhruva Sarja (Action King Arjun Sarja’s Nephew) is all set to come up with a power-packed film, ‘Pogaru’.

Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in the movie. Nanda Kishore is helming this project. As per the latest reports, the movie is going to feature international bodybuilders for the film. According to the reports, Morgan Aste, Kai Greene, John Lucas and Jo Linder etc are playing crucial roles in this film. The shooting of the movie is currently in its final stage. There is also a buzz that the movie is also going to feature a major fight between Morgan fights Dhruva Sarja during the climax.

Dhruva Sarja is now busy training with Morgan Aste and the shooting is currently taking place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Dhananjaya is on board for playing a negative role in the movie.

But Valmiki could have written a sad history for the film had it clashed on the same day with it. September 13th was locked as the date and Harish Shankar wasn’t ready to avoid the clash.

He termed it as a celebration but Mythri Movie Makers asked Ram Charan to say a word about the film postponement to Varun and Harish, as they have a good rapport with Rangasthalam.

Ram Charan asked Harish Shankar and Varun Tej to consider the request and Dil Raju, went to Gopi Achanta of 14 Reels plus to set the deal straight it seems.

So, the team Valmiki agreed for releasing on 20th September and Nani’s Gangleader got some breathing space to survive Saaho and a weekend to recover to costs, if it manages to get good talk.

Among many recent interviews and interactions with macho man Prabhas these days, one incident where the actor meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015 post his humongous Bahubali success has been recalled. Prabhas expressed his joy over having a healthy conversation with PM.

Prabhas said that Modi praised his film and garnered many compliments which left him grateful. He also said that Modi felt very happy when Prabhas told the film was 90 per cent shot in India only.

Later, Modi suggested a few Muslim countries for shooting next time. “I don’t recall those names now.. he said the locations are good and people in those countries are like Indians”. Prabhas also confirmed that Saaho was not shot in any of those countries when asked by the interviewer.

Another question was asked on joining politics to which the actor replied “never”. He said it is not his forte’ and won’t suit him at all. To recall, Prabhas’ uncle, Krishnam Raju was a former MP, BJP leader and also served as a Minister of State for Ministry of External Affairs in the Vajpayee Government from 1999 to 2004.

The important point urged by Modi to the Indian film industry, both South and North, is to shoot films in Jammu and Kashmir in order to improve tourism and economy.

From the media sources we have been hearing that My Home Group chairman Jupally Rameshwara Rao is in race to be part of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) governing panel and confirming it, the list of new members is out.

The new panel will have 25 members. Earlier TTD governing body used to have 19 members but the state government made few changes and increased the number to 25. My Home Jupally is very close to Telangana CM KCR and in the recent times, the friendship between KCR and AP CM YS Jagan had blossomed to new heights. Accordingly, Jupally got a gift from Jagan.

The 25 members panel are picked based on several categories. In local MLA quota, Tirupathi MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and TUDA chairman Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy are picked while in SC category Gundur MLA Varaprasad got a place. In woman’s quota, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy’s best half Prashanthi Reddy while Subba Rao, Krishna Murthy, Yalamanchili MLA Kanna Babu, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy were picked in others category.

Also as per TTD’s norm, the governing body should have a person from Telangana and Tamil Nadu states. Chennai Super Kings owner N Srinivasan who is also the head of Indian cements is included in the list of TTD board.

Very recently CM Jagan has appointed his uncle YV Subba Reddy as the chairman of TTD and now the full-fledged board is ready to take charge.
