Jr NTR Fans Not Even Caring About Such Words
In a recent interview, TDP’s Vizag MP contestant Sri Bharat, who happens to be younger son in law of actor and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has fired guns on Jr NTR’s entry into the party. When anchor Jaffer asked him if NTR’s need has arisen for TDP, Bharat stated that there are bigger and better leaders inside the party to handle things.
Naturally, this will lead to doubts if Jr NTR fans got upset with the way TDP leaders are actually making a mockery of him. But a look into the act is revealing that they are not even bothered about it. They don’t mind to care such words from TDP leaders as they know that NTR is rightly heading for bigger stardom in films and politics are not his cup of tea at the moment.
Few NTR fans, however, took a jibe at Sri Bharat. “What’s the qualification and eligibility does Sri Bharat have to talk about TDP’s future leadership in the first place. He got MP ticket just for being Balakrishna’s son-in-law and Ex MP Murthy’s Grand son but hasn’t done anything impressive inside the party”, they ridiculed.
Coming to NTR, looking at the way he’s planing his next set of films including #RRR, the actor will not be in a mood to quit his journey towards superstardom and join the murky politics that already have people like Pawan Kalyan suffering.
Horrible! Varma’s Caste Feeling
To make his latest movie ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ create panic among people, it looks like director Ram Gopal Varma has now come up another attention centric song. This time the song ‘Caste Feeling’ explains that there is no wrong in having such feelings.
Varma makes his point like this: When our country follows the notion ‘Unity in diversity’, why is it wrong to talk about caste feeling and to have a love for own caste people? When the country itself runs on reservations, what is wrong in having ‘caste feeling’?
Media saying that ‘Kulam adigina vaadu gaadidha’ is wrong because our constitution itself is empowering castes and reservations add more to it. Political parties allot tickets based on castes, but how come they say caste feeling is wrong. Varma made a logical point here, but here is forgetting something called ethics.
More on the song, Varma and Ravi Shankar’s voice as they render this ‘caste feeling’ is horrible to listen, while the lyrics don’t sound catchy and rhyming, but only sound like a piece of article that rants against the system that ridicules ‘caste system’. It’s a horrible narrative from Varma on Caste Feeling anyway!

Vidya Balan About Horrible Experiences In South Films
Vidya Balan is one such actress who made it big in Bollywood without any godfathers or a background. Ever since her debut in 2005 with Parineeta, Vidya never looked back.
But she also had flops in her kitty later in her career which had partially affected her already set image. Moreover, the actress is also seen in South films with her sheer hard work and perseverance.
The recent interview made Vidya reveal about one of her bitter experiences faced in the South Film Industry. She stated that there were a lot of rejections down South. She added, “I have been replaced in a lot of Malayalam films. I was also thrown out of a Tamil film after my role has been confirmed. My parents used to come with me because they were so worried about me. I had really begun to fade. We went to the producer’s office. The producer showed us the scenes from the film and said, ‘Just look at her, does she look like a heroine? The cruel attitude left us in shock and the producer also said that he was never really interested in taking me and blamed the director.”
The frequent rejection on her face made Vidya upset and had dealing issues. “I felt ugly…I felt like sh*t for months and I don’t think I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn’t like what I saw because I thought I was ugly…For the longest time, I did not forgive that man, but today, thanks to that I realized that I have to love and accept myself the way I am.”
Vidya also opened up on another appalling experience. The actress, who committed into doing a Tamil film, had to leave it midway as she felt uncomfortable with the kind of humour that was in the film. “I left the film and they sent me a legal notice,” she said.
After all these, the rejection has hurt her confidence and inflicted her psychological well-being, going beyond emotional pain, Nevertheless, this highly talented actress crossed all those bitter barriers and came back with a bang with her new hit release Mission Mangal.
Saaho promises five top-notch action sequences
Superstar Prabhas, who became a global star after the blockbuster success of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise, is back with his new film ‘Saaho’, which promises to be an extravagant action thriller and is rumoured to be made at a budget of Rs 350 cr.
In a bid to ensure that there are no repetitions or similarities in the film’s stunt sequences, the makers even roped in multiple action directors.Here’s taking a look at the top five action sequences in the movie, which has been written and directed by Sujeeth.
THE HERO’S ENTRY: This sequence has been designed by internationally acclaimed action director Peng Zhang. He was asked to choreograph a largerthan-life entry scene for Prabhas, and the actor had to train for three weeks to get the shot okayed in a single take.
GUN FIGHT: Directed by Bob Brown, this sequence has been shot like a dance number with the help of a (dance) choreographer. In fact, the makers claim that this is the first time in Bollywood that a choreographer has been roped in for an action sequence.
CAR CHASE: This sequence has been designed by another internationally acclaimed action director Kenny Bates. This particular sequence took over three weeks to be completed.
JETMAN SEQUENCE: The unit flew off to Italy especially for this. Though Prabhas wasn’t required for this sequence, he insisted on accompanying the team and was there throughout the shoot.
THE CLIMAX: This was choreographed by Peng Zhang, and was shot in Europe.
Saaho is an high-voltage action film directed by Sujeeth. The film, also starring Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi, will release on August 30.
KCR’s Mission Bhagiratha ‘fraud’ exposed!
TRS chief and Telangana CM KCR in his first term as CM between 2014 and 2018 boasted that he will not seek votes in elections if he fails to complete Mission Bhagiratha project and provide tapped drinking water to each and every household in Telangana.
Though the project was not completed, KCR openly told lies in all the election meetings during 2018 December polls that he had completed 90 per cent of Mission Bhagiratha project and the balance 10 per cent could not be completed as the Assembly was dissolved in September 2018, which is nine months before its tenue and he could have completed remaining 10 per cent works if elections are held as scheduled in April/ May 2018.
Now after coming to power again, KCR is again claiming in all the meetings that he completed Mission Bhagiratha project by 100 per cent and all people in Telangana are enjoying the benefit of Mision Bhagiratha.
Even in the recent Independece Day speech on August 15, KCR claimed of completing Mission Bhagiratha project.
As the saying goes, “you can fool some people some times, all people some times but not all people all the times”, KCR’s lies have been exposed in the meeting conducted by Centre on “Har Ghar Jal Yojana” (water to every household) in Delhi on Monday.
All the states have been invited for the meeting and asked to submit reports on status of drinking water projects.
The Telangana government submitted a report stating that only 33 per cent of Mission Bhagiratha works are complete.
On the contrary, TS government sought Rs 20,000 crore funds from Centre as they spent Rs 40,000 crore on completing Mission Bhagiratha.
Union water resources minister Shekawat expressed anger at TS how can they claim Rs 20,000 crore when they have completed just 33 per cent works.
He also took a dig at TRS government saying that just laying pipes would not amount to providing water to every household.
TS panchayat raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who was present in the meeting, was for much embarrassment, when Shekawat took TS goverment to task for telling lies on Mission Bhagiratha.
Naidu’s partner is U-turn master!
When he was in power between 2014 and 2019 in Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had earned a sobriquet, “U-turn Babu,” from his political opponents, as he had changed his stands on several issues repeatedly, whether it was special category status or alliance with the Congress.
Now, the YSR Congress party leaders have started targeting power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan for changing his stand on the capital issue.
YSRC general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy described Pawan Kalyan, albeit indirectly, as a U-turn master, for the latter’s outburst against change of capital city from Amaravati.
“Chandrababu’s silent partner seems to have turned a U-turn master. In the past, he roared against Amaravati, saying it was not a people’s capital but the TDP capital. Now, he says he would not tolerate if Rajadhani is changed from Amaravati. How can a person, who cannot stand on his own words, change politics?” Sai Reddy tweeted.
Interestingly, even former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh I Y R Krishna Rao, who strongly opposed the construction of capital at Amaravati and even wrote a book by name: “Whose capital is Amaravati?” has also changed his stand after he joined the BJP.
In his comment for a national media report, Krishna Rao said Jagan should not take a unilateral decision on Amaravati.
“He should not do the same mistake of his predecessor Naidu. He should hold consultations with all stakeholders before deciding on shifting of capital from Amaravati,” he asked.
If Jagan starts taking opinions on every issue, he cannot run the administration!
Paritala family has any properties in Amaravati?
One can understand the anguish of farmers of Amaravati capital region on the reports of a possible shift of capital city to some other place.They had given their lands for the capital and got the plots; and so, they are worried that their land values would go down drastically.
One can also understand the protests by the local TDP leaders, especially those belonging to rich Kamma leaders who had bought huge chunks of land in Amaravati and they are worried about a huge loss they would incur if the capital is shifted.
But one fails to understand why some leaders from Rayalaseema are crying over the shifting of capital from Amaravati.
Take for instance, TDP leader and former minister Paritala Sunitha. She belongs to Anantapur and her family amassed huge wealth in Penukonda region. All her business and political interests are there in Rayalaseema.
So, it was surprising to see Sunitha threatening to take up indefinite fast, if the Jagan government shifts the capital from Amaravati. She warned that she would storm secretariat with thousands of farmers.
Neither Sunitha or nor her Paritala family, who had been ruling part of Rayalaseema, had never bothered about achieving benefits to the region – whether it was setting up of AIIMS in Anantapur (which was later shifted to Mangalagiri), high court in Kurnool, provision of jobs to the unemployed from Rayalaseema in Amaravati, which was promised to be made a free zone etc.
But she is getting agitated when the Jagan government is contemplating over shifting of capital from Amaravati.
This makes one wonder whether Paritala family has any benami properties in Amaravati or Sunitha wants the interests of her community to be protected.
Sleepless Nights Ahead for Prabhas
Prabhas has been interacting with media for the past three days in Hyderabad.He has wrapped up all the promotional interviews of “Saaho” for the Telugu media and has now gone for a whirlwind tour of North India.
As GreatAndhra.com reported earlier, he will tour maximum cities in India to promote the film.Today he is promoting the action-adventure thriller in Lucknow, Jaipur, and Delhi. He will then head to Dubai.
He will return to Hyderabad on the release day. Post-release, he is planning to cover more cities and also will head for London.
Never in his life, he had done such an extensive promotion for a film. If the film becomes a massive hit, he has agreed to do post-release promotions as well. A lot is riding on this action-adventure thriller. Prabhas has openly been telling that this film needs to be blockbuster at any cost. As the film is produced by his close buddies, he has personal responsibility.
“They put in huge money. Any other producer would have made Rs 100 Cr profit on this project but they didn’t compromise on quality and invested more than the current market,” Prabhas said. So, it is his job now that their work gets paid.
He also said he will not rest or sleep until the movie gets released into the theaters on August 30.
Actress reveals she’s having a boy
London: Actress Amy Jackson shared that she is expecting a son at her gender reveal party.The actress took to Twitter on Monday to share a video from the gender reveal party. In the clip, an ecstatic Amy shouts: “It’s a boy.”
The 27-year-old had earlier shared on Instagram that she is in her 35th week of pregnancy. She is expecting her first child with fiance and businessman George Panayiotou.
She made her acting debut with the 2010 Tamil movie “Madrasapattinam” and has featured in several Telugu, Hindi and Kannada films apart from Tamil films.
Her last big release was the Rajinikanth-starrer “2.0” in 2018, which released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu versions. Her notable Bollywood films include “Ekk Deewana Tha”, “Singh Is Bliing” and “Freaky Ali”.
Sindhu thanks fans, promises more medals
Following her historic victory at the World Championships, star shuttler P.V. Sindhu said she is very proud to be an Indian and will try to win more medals for the country in the times to come.
On Sunday, Sindhu became the first Indian shuttler to win gold at the BWF World Championships after she thrashed Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 21-7, 21-7 in the final of the women’s singles event in Basel, Switzerland.
“It’s a great moment for me. I am really very proud to be an Indian. I wish I will get many more medals for the country,” Sindhu told reporters upon her arrival in the national capital on Tuesday.
“Hard work is the key to success. I would like to thank each and every fan of mine. It’s because of their love and support that I am here,” she added.
It was her fifth medal at the World Championships, which is the joint highest in women’s singles in the history of the tournament along with Xhang Ning of China, a two-time Olympic gold medallist.
Apart from the two silvers which Sindhu won in the last two editions, she had also won the bronze in 2013 and 2014.
The 24-year-old had earlier said that after missing out on the previous two occasions where she lost to Okuhara and Carolina Marin in 2017 and 2018 respectively, she was desperate to win the title this year.
“It’s a very important win for me because after two bronze and two silver medals, I really wanted the title. I was expecting this for a long time and now finally it has happened. So, I’m really happy,” she had said.

Recently, Chandrababu Naidu surprised one and all when he tweeted birthday wishes to mega star Chiranjeevi.
In the film industry, the Kammas look upon the Kapus as a nuisance whereas politically, they are always at rivalry with the Reddys.
Chandrababu’s gesture was amusing because he never remembered Chiranjeevi’s birthday during the five years he was Chief Minister.
Why then this new found love for Chiru? The answer is not hard to guess. The 2019 election result was more a referendum on the Kammas than the TDP.
Kamma casteism had reached such an all-time high that people decimated their Party in the polls.
Even recently, Galla Jaydev was lamenting the fact that an unfair ‘casteist tag’ was affixed to the TDP and a virulent campaign carried out against the Party leading to its defeat. It was not an unfair tag, it was the truth.
Therefore, the TDP has now embarked upon a campaign of shedding this unsavory image as a part of which it is now reaching out to the likes of Chiru and others.
Having said that, we have the recent arrest of TDP ‘paid artiste’ Shekhar Chowdary who uploaded videos on social media criticising YS Jagan and Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav.
Shekhar Chowdary posing as a farmer spoke demeaningly of Anil Kumar Yadav’s community and the TDP leaders like Galla Jaydev wonder why their Party is referred to as highly casteist.
This incident proves beyond doubt that there is absolutely no change in the Kamma mindset and their attitude towards the Telugu society.

‘Caste row’ in PV Sindhu’s BWF victory!
Badminton star PV Sindhu created history on Sunday by becoming the first Indian to win BWF World Championships.The entire world praised her for her stupendous victory. But in Telugu States, people were more curious about to know her caste.
It was revealed that more people in Telugu State searched for her caste on Google and other social media platforms on Sunday more than the news about her victory.The social media platforms have virtually turned into a war zone on Sidhu’s caste and region.
While some netizens claimed her to be from ‘kamma caste’, some others claimed her to be from ‘kapu caste’. People from both the castes tried to own her with their social media postings.Sindhu was not even spared of ‘regional war’ as some netizens claimed her to be from Andhra, while some others from Telangana.
Some social media platforms went on to post news saying that her father is a kapu and her mother is a kamma and since father’s caste counts in Telugu States, Sidhu should be treated as a kapu.
Coming to regional war, few Telangana netizens claimed that she belongs to Telangana as her father worked in Adilabad district in Telangana.
The popular Eenadu daily has also given two versions on Sindhu’s local status.
In its Hyderabad edition, Eenadu given title to Sindhu as “Hyderabad bidda”. In its Vijayawada edition, this caption has changed to “Vijayawada bidda”.
But one thing, they fail to realise is that Sindhu is an Indian and a national star who is loved by one and all irrespective of caste and religion.
When Bonalu comes, Sindhu celebrates as a ‘true Telangana girl’ carrying Bonam to Mahankali temple every year.
She also celebrates festivals in Andhra in a grand manner. But for people in Telugu States, caste and region seem to matter the most than any achievements, how big they may be.
One more Telanganite to get plum post in AP?
Even as the appointment of senior journalist from Telangana Devulapalli Amar as advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government for national media affairs and inter-state relations triggered uproar in the Andhra media circles, here is yet another heart-burning news for them.
According to sources, YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has reportedly approved the appointment of another senior journalist K Ramachandra Murthy as Advisor to Andhra Pradesh government on public policies, besides chairman of Andhra Pradesh Press Academy.
Murthy was till recently functioning as Editorial Director of Sakshi media house.
He hails from Khammam district of Telangana and was a strong votary of separate Telangna movement.
He ran a series of programmes in the name of “Dasha-Disha” to highlight the demand for separate Telangana state.
Already, there is a lot of unrest in the media circles in AP over appointment of Commissioner of Information and Public Relations T Vijay Kumar Reddy from Nalgonda and G V D Krishna Mohan as Communications Advisor to AP government.
The recent appointment of Amar as inter-state affairs advisor has added fuel to the fire.
It remains to be seen how they would react with the appointment of K R Murthy as another advisor in the AP government.
