Video Talk: Samantha’s Impressive Parkour Act

Share

In many Hollywood movies, we have seen heroes and villains doing the ‘parkour’ stunts which involve rapidly moving over the obstacles using physical techniques inspired by the military discipline. Telugu heroes like Manchu Vishnu and Akhil tried doing parkour in their movies and impressed to do a bit.

Here comes the spicy siren Samantha who is on a high after scoring some back to back hits like Majili and Oh Baby. Though she’s not so active on social media from a month or so, the moment she shared this, it is going viral. It is none other than the slow-motion video of Samantha doing a parkour act.

At a special training facility in Hyderabad, currently, Samantha is said to be training in parkour activities as part of her fitness regime. While she loves to hit the gym and pump heavy iron, from a long time she wants to do something new. Looks like she found a new job to do as she impresses her fans with these acts.

Jagan’s Dallas Speech: We Will Create History

Share

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on his US trip, has made a stentorian speech at Dallas Interacting with NRIs at Hutchinson Convention Center, Jagan thanked the NRI Telugus for his victory.

He said NRIs have played a crucial role in his win in 2019 elections. Jagan quoted Marthin Luther King and said he is his inspiration. “Marthin Luther King’s ‘I have a dream’ is my inspiration. I would like to see a state with no corruption, no bribes. It is my dream. Farmer who is feeding us shouldn’t die of hunger. It is my dream. Every government scheme should reach the poor, untrodden with no bribe and with no bias. It is my dream. Every acre land of the state should get water and it should happen through canals. It is my dream.

If people in power put their heart and soul, nothing is impossible. In just two-and-half months into the administration, we are taking steps towards creating history. ‘Amma Vodi’. ‘Rythu Bharosa’, ‘Arogya Sri’, and House Pattas for poor have been implemented.

By Gandhi Jayanthi (October 2nd), Grama Sachivalayams will be completed and will start functioning. Full fee reimbursement to students and closure of liquor belt shops were implemented. 50 percent reservation to women in nominated posts have been provided. We have introduced a law that 75 percent reservation to locals in jobs,” said YS Jagan.

Jagan continued to claim credit and achievements of his government. “Judicial commission has been appointed for tender finalization with no partiality. Reverse Tendering has been ordered like never before in the history of the country. English medium is being made mandatory in all government schools.

Currently, we are showing photos of government schools and government hospitals. After development, we will show the ‘Then and Now’ photos of the schools and hospitals. Although there was possibility, the previous government has not bought the power at lower price. For the last 13 months, bills were not paid to Discoms. Nearly Rs 20,000 crore we owe to Discoms.

Sea Ports, Airports, Railways are big strengths of the state. We are taking steps to erase the gap between towns and villages. I’m inviting the NRIs to visit AP at least once or twice a year. With the collaboration of NRIs, government wants to develop villages.

We are starting a special portal in government website and the portal will be directly linked to Chief Minister’s Office. If you would like to invest, you could share it in the portal. We will appoint an officer exclusively for the portal to lead.”

Jagan’s Dallas meet witnessed a huge turnout of people. Several prominent Telugu NRIs have attended and met Jagan personally after the meet.

Lachanna…CM KCR’s Phone Call

Telangana CM KCR never hesitates to call people, farmers in distress directly to enquire about the on-ground situation. On Friday, KCR has done similar when he had called Sirisilla district’s Boyinapalli Mandal ZPTC former member Lachcha Reddy to enquire about he Madhyamaneru Inflow water.

Lachcha Reddy was shocked when KCR had called him personally. First Lachcha Reddy got a call from CMO (Chief Minister’s Office) who told him that CM KCR wants to talk to him. As phone was transferred to KCR, Lachchanna was surprised. KCR asked him, “How are you Lachchanna? Where are you?” When Lachchanna replied him that he was in his farm and busy in rice seeding (Vari Natlu), KCR asked him whether there is any benefit to farmers with the flood water arriving to Madhyamaneru Reservoir. KCR asked Lachchanna to go near Madhyamaneru Reservoir and talk to him.

After Lachchanna called KCR from Madhyamaneru Reservoir, KCR enquired how are the local farmers after the flood water. KCR asked whether all the farmers are happy and any benefit to them? Lachchanna replied that the farmers are very happy. He said the farmers have begun the rice seeding (Vari Natlu).

Lachi Reddy requested KCR that there are some minor problems related to R&R package for expats and urged him to resolve them for their benefit.

Adivi Sesh: Time To Change?

Share

Adivi Sesh has been doing good movies. He has done some author-backed roles and script-driven films in the recent times. Of late, he is choosing more suspense thrillers and mystery crime thrillers which are usually considered as safe bet in film industry.

Be it Kshanam or Goodachari or now Evaru, thriller has been the common element and Sesh has been repeating the genre. While Ami Thumi was an exception, but it was a multi-starrer. And Sesh’s next film Major, touted to be the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is again a serious film.

No doubt, Sesh is choosing good films and impressing audience with food-for-thought. But it is high time, he should also try his hand at different genres. He can’t just reply on similar genres and roles as he is getting monotonous and type cast. Isn’t it time for Sesh to change and rediscover himself by choosing different scripts?

AP to lose heavily if Yeddy follows Jagan!

Share

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision to reserve 75 per cent of the jobs to locals is likely to backfire on the state, independent analysts say.

The main reason for this observation is the decision of Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa to follow Jagan’s formula and to enact a legislation to reserve 75 per cent of jobs to industries and other private sector enterprises.

Yediyurappa made this announcement while addressing the people of the state on Independence Day on August 15.

He assured that a lion’s share of jobs in the private sector would be reserved for Kannadigas in Karnataka.

His statement now comes in the wake of pro-Kannada organisations demanding the chief minister pass a bill to this effect, following a similar move in Andhra Pradesh.

What is more interesting is that apart from job reservations to locals, Yeddy also asked those migrating to the city to adapt to Kannada culture without compromising their identity.

Analysts say youth from Andhra and Telangana would be the biggest sufferers if Karnataka implements the law.

“Thousands of youth from Andhra Pradesh are employed in software industry in Bengaluru and Mysore. If the Karnataka governments enforces the law, they may have to lose jobs to a large extent,” an analyst said.

Though it is very difficult to implement the law, as industries prefer talent and skilled manpower, rather than their nativity. But if the government strictly enforces the law, it will result in non-local skilled employees losing their jobs.

If the youth from Andhra want to return following their job loss in Karnataka, there are not enough software companies in AP to accommodate them. And in the given job slump scenario, it will be a difficult situation, say analysts.

#BiggBoss3: Nagarjuna Gives Awards And Strong Coating

Share

Giving a full-on coating to contestants yet again, host Nagarjuna has once again stunned them all in Season 3’s Episode 28.

“When you want to impress everyone and get that ‘good boy’ tag, it kills you. Don’t be like a pressure cooker, put a whistle and give out the real” said Nagarjuna as he gives ‘Pressure Cooker’ award to Baba Bhaskar.

And then a ‘Loud Speaker’ award to Sreemukhi for being so loud inside the house, but later Nag smoothly scolded her for being insensitive as she earlier told Rohini that the latter might get evicted from the house this week.

Punarnavi got the ‘Umpire’ award for not taking part in any tasks and only limiting herself to commenting on others. Then Rahul Sipligunj got ‘Big Mouth’ award, and Nag pointed out his two-sided talks as he says sorry to Sreemukhi but later makes fun of her when he is with Vithika and Varun.

Ashu is given ‘Banana’ award as Nag says, “Don’t be a spectator, be a player”. Mahesh Vitta gets ‘Match Stick’ award for giving bad ideas to all, and Siva Jyothi got ‘Onion’ award as she puts on tears for every single moment.

Ali Reza bagged ‘Flute’ award for charming everyone with his tunes and Rohini got ‘Scissors’ award as she cuts the opponents with her on-face cutting of conversations. Varun Sandesh got ‘Best Fruit’ award and also got appreciations from Nag for being so sweet. Ravi Krishna took ‘Best Ear’ award as he listens to everyone in the house.

And the last and final award goes to Himaja, ‘The flowerpot’ (Chichubuddi) award. Nag points out, “Himaja explodes for a while and slows down. But she never maintains the energy throughout the day”

Kanna Attacks Jagan on US Trip

Share

BJP, which is aiming to expand its base in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, have started attacking the respective Chief Ministers YS Jagan and KCR respectively. While BJP’s Telangana state unit president Lakshman attacked KCR, now it is the turn of AP BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana to corner YS Jagan.

In his fresh comments, Kanna alleged that Jagan has left the people of AP during floods and left to the US for his personal trip. Kanna found fault with Jagan.

Kanna took pot shots at both Jagan and Chandrababu. He said while Jagan has left to the US during floods, Kanna equally found fault with Chandrababu Naidu who is in Hyderabad. “After pushing the state into debts with his 5 years of rule, he has now fled to Hyderabad after his house sank (kompa munigi) in floods,” said Kanna. He further alleged that the followers of both Jagan and Naidu are crossing swords over the “house” (Chandrababu’s Undavalli residence).

“Leave about the house whether it sank or not. But due to the both (YCP and TDP), the state completely sank,” said Kanna who alleged that the progress of the state took a big hit. Tulasi Reddy also found fault with Jagan over his US trip by leaving the state at a crucial time like floods. He also echoed with Kanna’s views. He said both the parties are indulged in fighting over Naidu’s residence. He questioned what about the other people whose houses were submerged due to floods.

#BiggBoss3: The GK Of Our Celebs Bringing Laughs

Share

You don’t need all the intelligence, knowledge and academic brilliance to become anything in this world, but basics should be good. And long back when heroine Alia Bhatt can’t ever answer who is President of India and many other such simple general knowledge questions, the whole of India laughed. Here is another such moment, this time inside the Bigg Boss house.

When quizzed about ‘what is the most bright planet in the solar system?’, anchor Sreemukhi has an immediate answer, as she says ‘The Sun’. And then the other gang of girls join her in nodding the head. Well, let’s say they don’t answer about it, but naming ‘sun’ is the dumbest answer as the sun is a star but not a planet. The real answer is Venus.

And then, a 7th standard question like ‘What is VIBGYOR?’ can’t be answered by Rohini, while everyone grows up learning that spectrum of light and how a bright light ray emits these colours when passed through a prism. Surely the GK of our celebs inside Bigg Boss 3 house is bringing laughs and also explains how our education system is failing.

Harish Shankar Unfollows PR Team

Share

Director Harish Shankar must be under pressure with so many worries about his current film “Valmiki” as it is having competition from Nani’s “Gang Leader” on September 13. Moreover, he is easily irascible.

When his previous film “DJ” received mixed reviews, he slammed the media on the stage and later repented.

He did the same. It is said that Harish Shankar is now not following his PR team on social media. This is a strange decision.

He is said to have miffed with the team for supporting hero Varun Tej in a matter regarding this film. The team is hoping that he would change his mind after a while.

He easily gets disappointed with people when they don’t agree with his point of view.

Harish also ran into controversies with the movie’s title as a community named Valmiki is raising objections over the film’s name.

Harish also lost his cool when some of the representatives from the community came to him to tell their displeasure. Cooldown Harish!
