Stitches hurt like mad: Sameera on C-Section
Mumbai: Actress Sameera Reddy has shared her postpartum journey. She says it’s hard on the body when it’s a C-Section because her stitches “hurt like mad”.
Sameera on Thursday shared a photograph of herself after delivering her second child, a daughter. She wrote a note alongside her photograph and described her postpartum journey.
“As part of my imperfectly perfect campaign I promised I’d share my postpartum journey so here goes. It’s really damn hard on the body when it’s a C-Section because the stitches hurt like mad,” Sameera wrote.
“Nothing can ready you for the sleepless nights of endless feeding and your body just feels so out of whack it can really get you down.”
Sameera added that the “tummy swelling takes a while to go and this is day 5 post delivery.”
She said that she is thrilled to have her daughter in her arms.
“But I can’t help but feel hormonally challenged because of all the changes. It all bounces back and that’s the silver lining!” she said.
Sameera shared the news of her daughter’s arrival on July 12.
The “Tezz” actress married businessman Akshai Varde in 2014. She delivered her fiest child, a son, in 2015.

‘YSR’ becomes a buzz word in assembly!
There is an interesting observation with regard to the ongoing budget session of the Andhra Pradesh assembly in Amaravati.
Fresh from the massive victory in the elections, the YSR Congress party MLAs are putting up an aggressive posture, pouncing upon the opposition Telugu Desam Party legislators which are forced to go on the defensive.
So far so good. But the interesting part is that every YSRC MLA who gets an opportunity to speak in the assembly is not ending his speech without referring to the name of late chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. In fact, the YSR has become a buzz word for the YSRC MLAs in the House.
“Whether it is out of their real affection towards the departed leader, or it is an attempt to please the party boss and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party MLAs are taking the every name of YSR at every given opportunity. So, though it has been nearly a decade since YSR departed this world, his soul continues to move around in the assembly,” a source close to the party said.
In fact, finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, while introducing the budget in the state assembly last week, named as many as 18 schemes after YSR.
“So, whenever the MLAs talk about the welfare schemes, they are forced to recall the name of YSR invariably,” the source said.
So, more than Jagan, it appears it is YSR who is still ruling the state!
Naidu losing control over party?
Not long ago, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was considered a tough task master in the party.
Having built up the party from grassroots level to the entire state since the days of his father-in-law N T Rama Rao, Naidu had a complete grip over the party for a quite a long time.
It is an undeniable fact that the party could return to power even after being out of it for 10 years between 2004 and 2014, only because Naidu had been able to sustain the party cadre which was very strong at all levels.
However, in the last five years, Naidu seemed to have lost control over the party.
In his eagerness to promote his son as his heir apparent, Naidu ignored his responsibility of strengthening the organisational network, as a result of which the party leaders have behaved independently, indulged in huge corruption and it finally resulted in the humiliating defeat for the party in 2019 elections.
Even after the debacle, the TDP chief seems to be clueless as to how to rebuild the party.
With age catching up fast on him, he is not able to focus much on the party structure, while Lokesh has become unacceptable to leaders and cadre.
Naidu remained helpless as four of his party MPs defected to the BJP and many other leaders at various levels are following suit.
He has not been able to control the leaders like Kesineni Nani and Buddha Venkanna who have been washing their dirty linen in public.
He was not able to say a single word when leaders like J C Prabhakar Reddy said the TDP was ready to be merged with the BJP, as it had no future.
Except a handful of leaders around him, nobody is coming to meet him and discuss party affairs. He has become a virtual loner in the party.
One wonders whether Naidu would be able to sustain the party for another five years, given his present style of functioning!

Polavaram Scam, Report Will Be Out In 15 Days: YS Jagan
The ruling YSRCP and opposition TDP are on a war of words on Polavaram dam construction for the past three days in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Speaking on this CM Jagan said, “We have appointed a committee that will look into all the irregularities that took place during TDP government’s tenure. In just 15 days, the report will come and we will get to know the facts how much TDP leaders have looted in the name of Polavaram.”
Jagan also addressed the assembly about his first ever visit to Polavaram as CM. “When I went there, contractors and engineers have informed me that the works have stopped about four months ago. Our government will resume the works from November this year and are aiming to complete it by June 2021.”
The AP CM also said which were company bids for the lowest budget, we will allot them the contract By doing so, state government can save nearly 15 to 20 percent which could be around Rs 6500 crore.
Jagan lashed out at TDP government’s tender procedure. “TDP government allotted contracts on the basis of nomination. Ex-Finance minister Yanamala’s relative got one sub-contract. Not just this, without even giving the works, the government has transferred Rs 724 crore to contractors. Just wait another two weeks, we will reveal everything about Polavaram,” added Jagan.
Saaho postponement: This Hero Know In Advance?

In the whole fiasco of shifting Saaho release date, the big advantage comes for one film and that is none other Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2. While the senior hero bravely confirmed August 9th as the release date, many wondered why he’s locking horns with Saaho which is release a week later.
Another side of the story is that Nagarjuna actually got the information about Saaho’s postponement a bit in advance. Perhaps that is what made him stick to the original plan of releasing Manmadhudu 2 on August 9th. While all the distributors advised the senior hero to change the date, Nag has contemplated many possibilities for a while. And then, he has confirmed 9th, which makes anyone get a doubt that he might have got a clue from Saaho.
On the other hand, the absence of Saaho is making two films occupy that slot including Ranarangam and Evaru. Now, Nagarjuna has to compete with these two heroes on 15th after having a smooth 1 week at the box office.
