Dear Comrade Anthem: Fight For What You Love!
The film ‘Dear Comrade’ comes up with the caption ‘Fight For What You Love!’ Matching this tagline comes the anthem song. Sung by none other than happening hero Vijay Deverakonda himself, the song is out.
This is Vijay’s second song as playback singer and he ignites the spirit with his voice. On the first hearing, the song gives goosebumps as it has the raging vibe.
Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran and it’s a terrific composition while lyrics are penned by Chaitanya Prasad. The words are deep with strong meaning.
This song is also simultaneously released in the Malayalam and Tamil versions. Dulquer Salmaan has crooned the Malayalam version while Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi did the Tamil.
A film by Bharat Kamma, ‘Dear Comrade’ is releasing on July 26th.
Naidu’s Loss Cast Shadow On Heritage?
The humiliating defeat faced by the Telugu Desam Party in the just concluded assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh seems to have cast its shadow on the performance of Heritage Foods, the family enterprise of TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
According to market reports, the stock prices of Heritage Foods have fallen by 25 per cent since May 23.
On Monday, the company registered a steep fall of more than five per cent, which was a 30-month low, to Rs 390, despite the fact that the market was buoyant with regard to other scrips.
Reports said the stocks of Heritage Foods had come down by 19 per cent in the past seven trading days.
Compared to last year (June 2018), when its market price was Rs 720, the stock has almost fallen by 50 per cent.
The Heritage Foods, presently being run by Naidu’s daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani, has been engaged in dairy business that includes procurement of milk from dairy farmers at village level, and distribution of processed milk to the households in 15 states.
While electoral debacle of the TDP could be one of the reasons for the fall in share value of Heritage, market reports attribute it to a slump in milk supply for the year, which led to lower milk sales prices as the unorganized dairy firms entered the urban market to sell excess milk, thereby increasing undercutting and competition.
Brahmani, in fact, was planning to register a revenue growth run-rate of 15-20 per cent over the next five years by territorial expansion in milk-rich regions and areas where consumption of milk is high, penetrate deeper in existing regions, and increase the value-added products portfolio. But the growth was in tune with the expectations.
Vijay Deverakonda disappoints his fans
Happening hero Vijay Deverakonda never fails to disappoint his fans but he did this time.Going into details, the ‘Dear Comrade’ musical festival events in Bengaluru and Kochi witnessed a large number of fans.
As the entry being free for the music fest, fans of Vijay thronged at the venue in unexpected number.
The event organizers failed to make adequate arrangements and also could not control the crowd who reached the venue.
The police stepped into action and held a lathicharge too. Couple of them got hurt and were seen crying.Noticing this Vijay Deverakonda called a lady fan who was sobbing uncontrollably and tried to pacify her. He also went out of the venue and was shocked to see the crowd.
Vijay has asked the organizers of Chennai and Hyderabad music fest events to take necessary steps so that the scenes like in Bengaluru and Kochi will not get repeated.
Pawan made paid appearance at TANA?
Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan announced long ago that he had quit acting and taken to full-time politics.
But people still acknowledge him as an actor from the Mega family, rather than politician. If people across the world are still interested in attending his meetings notwithstanding his humiliating electoral debacle, it is only because of their craze for his films.
Probably, Pawan also wants to cash in on this craze among his fans for his films, So, like any other popular actor, he has started demanding money for his public appearances.
The other day, the Jana Sena Party chief attended a session at the annual convention of Telugu Association of North America at Washington D.C. as a special guest.
The session was well attended by Telugu NRIs in big numbers and there was a huge response for his speech.
So far so good. Since he is a full-time politician now, rather than a film celebrity, one might have thought he had attended the TANA convention like any other guest. But, sources said it was a paid appearance by Pawan Kalyan.
Apparently, Pawan Kalyan had charged US dollars 50,000 for attending the TANA convention, apart from the first class air ticket and other facilities. The “appearance fee” is said to be in the name of party fund, sources said.
But what would TANA gain by paying such a huge money to Pawan Kalyan, a failed politician?
It is learnt TANA organisers had collected entry fee for Pawan’s session and since there is still a lot of craze for him among the NRIs, the organisers made a quick buck from the entry tickets to make up for the expenses on the power star!
