Hrithik Spoiling Megastar’s Big Dreams
Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have teamed up for the first time and the first film in their combination is “War” and it is ready to hit the screens.The film’s teaser is out and it is sending jitters to Ram Charan’s camp. The teaser is magnificent, looks like a treat for action lovers.
What has it got to do with Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi? The answer is simple.“War” is releasing on 2nd October, the same day Megastar Chiraneevi’s epic period drama “Sye Raa” would hit the screens in multiple languages worldwide.
Ram Charan who is producing the film has locked October 2nd as release date considering various aspects. The film’s Hindi version has also been sold off to Farhan Akthar’s company for a big price.Now that Hrithik Roshan has declared box-office war on that day, “Sye Raa” will suffer opening collections in North Indian market.
“Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” is being produced with Rs 200 Cr. The film’s story has pan-India appeal. This is Chiranjeevi’s dream project.Will ‘Sye Raa’ change its date or go ahead as per the original plan?
Gang Leader First Look: Nani & His Gang
The very collaboration of Nani and critically acclaimed director Vikram Kumar, of Manam, 24 and Hello fame, with Mythri Movie Makers has raised many eyeballs. Here is the first look of the film which sees Nani and his gang – women of various age groups.
Nani’s Gang includes Baamma..Varalakshmi..Priya..Swathi..Chinnu. However, the eyes and faces of the gang members have been smartly covered with binoculars. Vikram shows his creative side in the first look poster that appeals to family audiences. The caption – Revengers Assemble – indicates that the film has revenge element. This is kept under the wraps for now.
Billed to be a family entertainer like Manam, Vikram said to have imbibed an interesting point in Gang Leader. The film has Karthikeya, of RX 100 fame, in a crucial negative avatar. The cast also has Priyadarshi, Vennela Kishore, Sathya, Raghu Babu, Priyanka, Lakshmi, Saranya and Aneesh Kuruvilla.
Anirudh Ravichander, who composed music for Agnyathavaasi, has composed the music. The first Song from the film will be unveiled on July 18th and the teaser to be released on July 24th.
Huge Betting On Manmadhudu 2 In The USA!
Rumours about the postponing the film might have hurt fans, but other day Akkineni Nagarjuna himself clarified that they are coming on August 9th with Manmadhudu 2. Releasing a new poster with a date which is in line with the theme of the movie, he confirmed the same.
The main reason for the postponement rumours is that the arrival of Saaho on August 15th is not making many filmmakers dare to release their flicks a week in advance. However, Nag seems to be unfazed by such threats as he is going for a release for the kind of release machinery he had. While Annapurna Studios itself is releasing the film in AP and Telangana, US Telugu Movie LLC is bringing the film in the USA territory. These two know how to grab the right number of screens, right locations and make the release a big one.
Featuring Nagarjuna as a 50+ guy who fails to find love and marry yet, the film has Rakul Preet as that spicy lead girl, while Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh and Vennela Kishore are plying other crucial roles. Both Samantha and Keerthi Suresh will be seen in interesting cameos.
Penna Cements row: Huge relief for YS Jagan
The Appellate Tribunal for Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) has found fault in Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the quid pro quo investment case between AP CM YS Jagan and Penna Cements. ED has alleged that for 45 crore of investment in Jagathi Group at a benefit of Rs 1.1 crore is beyond imagination.
The tribunal said the investments are genuine and ED cannot take the allegations made in CBI chargesheet and FIR into consideration without verifying the facts as they are not proved in the court or tribunal. There are very little allegations of PMLA investigation and ED can’t take over the 231 acres of Penna cements in Anantapur.
ED has accused that Penna company made investments in Jagathi to get the land and other benefits. This was challenged by Penna cements and eventually, the verdict came in their favour. This is a huge relief for Jagan.
In the 2011, ED had booked both Jagan and Penna Cements in the quid-pro-quo investment row and after eight long years, the step was laid forward.
Its YSR, But Not Chandrababu Behind Kia Motors
Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Monday debated about the expenses of previous CM’s foreign tours. The ruling party in the house, claimed that Chandrababu’s international trips cost was Rs 39 crore of public money but they did not convert into investments for the state.
Countering these statements, Chandrababu said, any CM in the country will go to places looking for investment opportunities. Not just CM, our PM too toured throughout the world. I wanted to make AP as a preferred destination. Our government had signed MoUs with several national and international companies worth Rs 16 Lakh crore and about 32 Lakh people might get employment. Already five lakh of them got jobs. This government should work for the rest of the things to happen. Instead of that, they are questioning about my foreign tours. Yes I had been to South Korea and got Kia Motors to AP. Under our government, we brought South Korean township to Anantapur. This is our credit.”
In reply to Chandrababu’s statements, Finance Minister Bugganna Rajendranath Reddy said, “We don’t hear about Karnataka or Maharashtra CM’s foreign tours. We did a lot about AP CM’s trips in the last five years.”
Further Bugganna added that one more important thing he would like to bring to the notice of the Assembly is Chandrababu is claiming that he got Kia Motors to AP. “We a received a letter from Kia Motors President and CEO Han-Woo Park dated June 13th, 2019. The Kia Motors boss congratulated YS Jagan on his victory in elections and then recalled his association with YSR back in 2007 when Han-Woo Park was leading the Hyundai Motors R&D in Hyderabad. YSR requested Han-Woo Park to invest in an automobile manufacturing unit in AP and the latter gave his word. The long standing relation between YSR and Han-Woo played an important role in locate its first plant in AP,” is what mentioned in the letter.
This means, Chandrababu has nothing to do with Kia Motors coming to AP but in the last few years, he did wide publicity regarding the same which is completely untrue!
Why will I watch ‘Kabir Singh’: Vijay Deverakonda
‘Kabir Singh’ this film has defied the critics reviews and went on to become the biggest blockbuster of the year by raking up over R 200 crore. We all know ‘Kabir Singh’ is the remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ and it made Vijay Deverakonda an overnight star.
But Vijay Deverakonda is in no mood to watch the Hindi version of ‘Arjun Reddy’ and he has his own explanation. Vijay is in Chennai for the promotions of his next movie and when confronted by the media, he made some strange comments about ‘Kabir Singh’ leaving the media in wonder.
“There is nothing for me to watch it again. I know the story, I have done that film, why will I watch again? No more discussion,” said Vijay. Further he added that he wanted the Hindi film to be a big hit, because Sandeep is my man and it really did.
Not sure how many actors will watch their remakes in different languages but Vijay clearly gives thumbs down for this idea.
Amala Paul On New Lover, Ex’s Marriage & Lucky Career
Waiting for the release of Aadai in Tamil and Aame in Telugu, which is set to hit cinemas this week, actress Amala Paul is having a gala time. While her dare-bare acts in the movie’s teaser got her all the attention, she’s saying that the film will have many such hair raising moments thought she doesn’t walk stark naked all the time.
At a time when Amala is in the news this way, her former husband, director AL Vijay has tied the knot yet again this time with a girl his parents found for him. As the photographs of Vijay’s marriage are doing rounds everywhere, Amala’s response is sought by media folks.
“I’m happy for Vijay, he is such a cute and loving man. I wish the couple a happy married life and lots of babies” said Amala Paul. Talking about her own personal life, she added, “I’m seeing someone already, found my new love. He’s not from the film industry, so no need to talk about him much”.
On the career front, Amala stated that she’s quite upset when she got divorced regarding her career. “I’m worried that maybe now I will get only heroine’s friends roles and small character. I’ve even thought of becoming a TV actress. But it is proved that hard work will make luck shine on you” she stressed.
We have to see what Amala Paul will do in theatres anyway!
Venky Leaves Three Directors In Waiting
Venkatesh’s Sankranthi entertainer ‘Fun and Frustration’ was not only his career biggest hit, but also one of the top Tollywood grossers of all time. Buoyed by F2’s success, Venky had lined up at least 4 projects under his home banner Suresh Productions. The first among the four movies, Venky Mama, is gearing up for a Dasara release.
On the other hand, Venky has also given his green signal to the scripts narrated by action family entertainers specialist Sriwass, light-hearted romantic comedy entertainers specialist Trinadha Rao Nakkina and young filmmaker Tharun Bhascker. All the three directors are ready with fully bounded scripts.
However, Venky has not yet decided which project to take on floors first, thereby leaving all the three directors waiting without any clue. The pre-production work for the above projects is underway slowly and some clarity may emerge in a month, once Venkatesh is totally free from Venky Mama’s responsibilities.

For the last few years, director VV Vinayak has been seen in a heavily built body. But undoubtedly, this latest picture showcases him in his best and the most fittest avatar ever. For the last couple of months, Vinayak has been hitting the gym with vengeance and lost all the extra kilos.
This is all part of Vinayak’s debut film as a hero. This September, Dil Raju will be producing an intense social drama featuring Vinayak and directed by Narasimharao who had earlier made the socio-fantasy drama, Sharabha. In the past, Vinayak was seen in 1, 2 scenes in Tagore and Khaidi No 150, both directed by him and starring Chiranjeevi.
AP CM Jagan to go on US tour
AP CM YS Jagan will fly to the United States next month. As per his YSRC party sources, Jagan is expected to tour for a week in America from August 17th to 23rd. These are tentative dates and the YSRCP will confirm Jagan’s trip schedule in the coming days.
As part of his US tour, Jagan will be meeting YSRCP NRI wing from Detroit, Michigan. Cobo Convention Centre will host this meeting and a large number of YSRCP supporters are expected to grace it. Having taken oath as CM, this is Jagan’s first international tour and that too US. He might ask NRIs to look at the opportunities in AP for investments.
Jagan’s family is also accompanying him for this tour. He might take out some time for his daughters who recently took admission in US universities for higher studies.
Ahead of this trip, Jagan has applied for a diplomatic passport in Vijayawada couple of days back.
Chandrababu garu, Please control your pet dog: Kesineni Nani
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani is upset with TDP leadership since a month or so. But he maintained his patience and then targeted the YSR Congress government with his tweets and Facebook status. Nani did not even spare TDP MPs who joined BJP. So everyone thought that Nani will certainly stick to TDP.
But this weekend things seems to have changed. On Sunday, Nani targeted TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna in a series of Tweets though not directly. While this topic is still in discussion among the political circles, Nani has made shocking tweets on the wee hours of Monday and this time, Nani directly hit at Naidu.
In this tweet, Nani offered to quit the party and also to the MP seat. “Chandra Babu Garu if you don’t want people like me in the party you can let me know I will resign as Member of Parliament and also to the Party membership, if you want people loke me to continue please control your pet dog” wrote the Vijayawada MP. If Nani wants to stay with the party, he asked Naidu to control the pet dog. Once again Nani made indirect comments on the TDP MLC calling him a dog.
Well, this is certainly a big crisis kind of situation in TDP. Chandrababu has been maintaining silence on Nani issue but it’s time for him to react as it is getting bigger and bigger with each day passing.
