Young Heroine Blasted For Tiger Pics
Couple of days ago, young heroine Malvika Sharma has boasted a lot about Tiger Park in Pattaya of Thailand as she shared some pictures too. Hugging a tiger and posing by the side of it, the Nela Ticket starlet felt elated to share her pictures from the Thailand vacation.
While Malvika got all the praises in the first couple of days, slowly they started attracting the real persons. Animal activists have slammed the actress for posing with a tiger in that method because there is no way a tiger could be tamed that way. “This tiger is trained to be around people since the time he was born. If you are going to Thailand you should definitely visit to Tiger Park Pattaya, you can play with the tiger cubs. They are so cute and mischievous”, she posted.
An animal activist shot back at her, “Actually tigers are not tamed, but they are actually drugged to keep low and pose for photos. What you have done is animal abuse and it is unethical”. Another netizen asked her to not promote such unethical tourism just for the sake of a few bucks for putting up that tweet.
“This tiger is not a toy. If you want to cuddle with one, go and buy a soft toy tiger. There’s nothing cute about being so ignorant and passively cruel” another Twitter user commented.
Well, some heroines do anything for publicity, but this time it didn’t work for Malvika Sharma as slowly the storm is gathering against her for animal abuse.

‘Dil’ Raju to back Keerthy Suresh film
Happening beauty Keerthy Suresh and Aadhi Pinisetty are pairing for a sports-romedy. This film is being directed by Bollywood filmmaker from Hyderabad, Nagesh Kukunoor and it is his debut in Telugu.
The untitled movie is in final stages of shooting and we have an interesting update. Noted producer ‘Dil’ Raju has joined this team and he will be presenting the movie under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
‘Dil’ Raju is impressed by the content of the film and the team is super happy to welcome the producer with golden hand on board.
The last and final schedule of shooting will resume from August and then the makers will announce the title and first look.

Top 5: It’s A Super Hit Baby – Sam Retains Top Seat

In spite of many new releases, Samantha’s fantasy comedy turned out to be the crowd’s first choice this weekend.
The film has entered profit zone within one week and is looking good to double the tally in its full run.

BCCI to check on Kohli-Rohit rift, split captaincy
London: Ever since Indias ouster in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup, there have been a lot of talks about the areas where the team lacked and also how it was too reliant on the duo of skipper Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma when it came to scoring runs.
While this has been an area that is also highlighted from the scoring charts of the World Cup, another factor that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is also keen to discuss is the idea of split captaincy.
Speaking to IANS, a board functionary said that good teams start preparations immediately after one campaign ends and the biggest result of that is England winning the World Cup on Sunday. So, keeping an eye on the next campaign, India too could look at the option of having Rohit lead the team in the shorter format while Kohli continues in Tests.
“This would be the right time for Rohit to take over the mantle of the captaincy in the 50-over format. There has been immense support to the present captain and the management and it is time to plan ahead for the next World Cup and for that the existing ideas and plans need a fresh look. We all know some areas need a relook. Rohit would be the right man for the job,” the functionary said.
But as per the functionary, the biggest concern that has come up post the exit is the talks of different camps and rumours of a rift between the Kohli and Rohit. That could be detrimental for Indian cricket as the team looks to move forward and the matter is set to be discussed when the review meeting takes place with coach Ravi Shastri, captain Kohli and chief selector M.S.K. Prasad in the presence of the Committee of Administrators (CoA).
“You are aware that Vinod Rai (CoA chief) has already mentioned that a review meeting will take place. This will have to be ascertained when the review takes place and it is important to get to the bottom of these rumours,” the functionary added.
While Rai has claimed that a review meeting will take place to assess the performance of the team, there are clearly more problem areas that need immediate attention.
Interestingly, the last time there was a meeting where the CoA members had met the senior players and coach — during the Test against West Indies in Hyderabad last year — Kohli and Rohit’s difference of thought was visible when it came to resting players in the IPL keeping the World Cup in mind.
Nagarjuna to charge Rs 12 lakh per episode?
Akkineni Nagarjuna is all set to host the third season of Telugu Bigg Boss. The makers took to their social media handle and shared the promo of the reality show.
As per the promo, this year the reality series will feature 14 contestants. Last year, however, there were 15 housemates who fought for the winning trophy.
While the show is garnering all the limelight, there is one additional reason which is adding to it and it is super actor Nagarjuna’s whopping fee.
According to the latest report, Nagarjuna is reportedly charging Rs 12 lakh per episode.
The reports further claimed that Akkineni Nagarjuna had charged about Rs 7 lakh per episode for hosting Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu.
The actor, who got the chance to host Bigg Boss Telugu, will be charging a whopping amount of Rs 12 lakh since the show has a wider audience and digital viewership.
The first season of Bigg Boss Telugu was hosted by Jr NTR, who reportedly charged Rs 10 lakh per episode and apparently the makers, too, were happy with the amount.
The host of the second season Nani was also paid a similar amount. However, the makers feel that the case here with Nagarjuna is different as the veteran actor also draws the mass audience.
YSRC Circulate Bonda Uma’s video to defend
The YSRCP followers have started circulating a video of Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Uma from an earlier assembly session, where he has used objectionable language against the leaders of YSRCP.
Telugu Desam Party’s leaders were successful in annoying Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a result of which he lost his cool in the assembly. The video of YS Jagan is now being circulated by TDP leaders and cadres.
The YSRCP leaders feel that Jagan Mohan Reddy reacted in a decent manner when compared to the behaviour of Telugu Desam leaders during their government rule.
Hence, the video of Bonda Uma is being circulated by YSRCP activists to prove that Mr Reddy was still respectful of the opposition unlike the leaders of Telugu Desam Party.
Though Mr YS Jagan had lost his cool, the leaders of his party and the activists are happy to see him give it back to the opposition.
Everyone must have noticed that Mr Jagan always wears a smile on his face, just as his father did. But the temper goes on to show just how successful the leaders of TDP were in irritating him.
Jagan should learn from fall of family outfits: BJP
GUNTUR: Putting Andhra Pradesh chief minister and YSRCP supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy on notice, senior BJP leader and former MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that people were not ready to back the leaders who promote their own family, caste, religion and region for long.
He said that recent election results have given enough indication that they have buried every political party that is being run by the family.He said that Jaganmohan would also face the same fate if he misses the logic in the coming days.
Addressing the party membership drive programme-Sanghtan Parv-here on Sunday, Chauhan said that BJP is the only party that is being run without any family affiliations.He said that no one in the BJP would get an opportunity to rise just because of being the kin of some key leader.
He said that parties that worked for their own family, religion, region have all faced dust in the recent elections.He said that people have shown the door to SP and BSP even after joining hands chiefly because the parties were led by family groups.
He said that TDP had faced a humiliating defeat in AP as Chandrababu Naidu dreamed to make his son Lokesh chief minister.He said that Naidu too wanted to become PM by roaming around the country without knowing the ground reality.
Chauhan asked the party leaders to strengthen the party in such a way that it would compete with the YSRCP in the next elections.He said that BJP would not have an alliance with any political party in the state and contest the next elections on its own with its own strength.
Party state president Kanna Lakshminarayana, Daggubati Purandeswari, Sunil Deodhar and other leaders were present.Former TDP urban wing president Chandu Sambasiva Rao, Arya Vysya Association state president Sidda Venkateswara Rao joined the party in the presence of Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan.
Jagan for US next month, to meet NRIs
YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will be flying to the United States of America next month, according to sources close to the party.
Sources said Jagan will be leaving for the US along with his family after August 15 and spend a week over there. This will be the first foreign tour of Jagan after taking over as the chief minister.
Soon after the polling was held on April 11, the YSRC chief went on a tour to England along with his family to relax after hectic electioneering and also to see his daughter Varsha Reddy who is pursuing her under-graduation in London School of Economics.
This time, too, Jagan will be going on a persona tour, rather than official one. He is going to the US to get his younger daughter Harsha Reddy admitted to a university there for higher education.
However, sources said Jagan will be attending a meeting with Telugu Non-Resident Indians in the US, who had supported the YSR Congress party in a big way.
Apparently, the NRIs have invited him to the meeting, which is most likely to be held in Detroit, where Telugus are staying in large numbers.
No other programme has been confirmed so far.
“But he is likely to make a couple of courtesy calls to the Indian officials in the US, besides some possible investors,” sources said.
Ravi Prakash Working on R Plus!
Ravi Prakash, the former CEO of TV9, who had an unceremonious exit from the channel, is all set to launch a news channel with the financial and political support from BJP central leadership.
Ravi Prakash recently was granted anticipatory bail in the case filed by TV9 new management.
Even while he was working as CEO of TV9, Ravi Prakash floated several companies like “R Factory”, “Mojo TV”, “Toli Velugu”, etc.
While “Toli Velugu” has been scrapped and “Mojo TV” has been taken over by Alanda Media, Ravi Prakash is now said to be working from his “R Factory” office in Banjara Hills.
He is now working with some of his former colleagues at this office to launch the news channel.
Speculations among the media circles are that he will name the channel as R Plus. He will now take on KCR’s government with the help of BJP that is eying for power in 2024.
Till he was in TV9, he put all his efforts to tarnish the image of Modi and BJP and he did all the drama when Sabarimala episode was going on using Mojo TV. Ironically, he found shelter in BJP.
