He is My Rakhi Brother: Rakul
Actor turned director Rahul Ravindran has directed “Manmadhudu 2” that is hitting the screens August 9.
Featuring Nagarjuna and Rakul in the main roles this romantic drama has already generated lot of news thanks to Nagarjuna’s liplocks and Rakul’s glam show.
Actress Jhansi who also played key role in the movie has commented that Rahul has soft corner towards Rakul.
However, Rakul and Rahul have revealed that they have brother and sister bonding.
“I met him long before I entered in Tollywood, I met Rahul. Since then I have been trying Rakhi to his hand. He is my Rakhi brother,” she revealed.
Rahul also said his buddy Vennela Kishore started teasing him on the sets as I was so flabbergasted with the performance of Rakul.

After the underwhelming performance of Devadas, Nagarjuna is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Manmadhudu 2.
Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film stars Rakul Preet, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore in the lead roles. Samantha Akkineni and Keerthy Suresh have been roped in for cameo roles.
When a love-struck Rakul Preet enters his world, he faces new challenges. He doesn’t want to become a parent even if he gets married.
What will his decision do to Nagarjuna and Rakul’s relationship in Manmadhudu 2 forms the rest of the story.
Manmadhudu 2 will release worldwide on August 9. The rom-com also stars Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Rao Ramesh, Lakshmi, Devadarshini and Jhansi ins supporting roles.
Rains: Hyd Roads Turn Ugly
The incessant rains for the past few days have created major havoc and mayhem in the city of pearls. Hyderabad roads have turned uglier with the lashing of rains. The commuters are gripped in fear and risking their lives. Several parts of the roads are completely damaged and water-logging has been observed.
Besides this, traffic snarls have become a common phenomenon during rains due to waterlogging, inundation on bad roads. In addition to this, fear of manholes left opened is worrying about the commuters.
Several key roads, streets in the city have been drastically affected. Already several roads were in dire need of repairs. Rains have added to the woes of commuters who were already having a bumpy ride on the bad roads.
The worst-hit roads were seen in Madhapur, Kondapur, Nizampet, Manikonda, Puppalaguda, Narsingi, Beeramguda which are completely damaged and pose a major threat to the commuters. In the nights, the situation is more dangerous.
KTR’s Twitter account is flooded with the spree of requests from people from the above-mentioned areas complaining about the bad roads and the urgency to pay attention. GHMC is yet to take action on the bad roads in the city.

Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu on his Twitter timeline, posted a picture of himself clicked at Goa Big Daddy Casino. While the actor said he was enjoying at the casino and asked twitterati to wish him luck, Rahul Ravindran and few others wished him all the luck to earn millions.
There were rumors earlier that Jagapathi Babu lost his assets and properties due to this habit of casinos, but the actor denied all of it saying that he lost money because he trusted some people who he should not have.
Buzz: Incessant Rains Hampering BO Revenues
Other than mass film Ismart Shankar, there are not many successful movies running at theatres for Telugu film lovers to savour upon. But then, Telugu audiences are the types who even watch average-rated movies for their love towards cinema. And that gives edge even for flop movies.
Despite the fact that other days’ releases like Rakshasudu and Guna 369 got average ratings, the films are not able to pull massive crowds to theatres. This is not because of any other factor, but merely due to the incessant rains that have left no part in Telugu states turning wet. Massive traffic jams and waterlogged roads are actually preventing movie lovers from stepping out of theatres in cities like Hyderabad and Vizag.
As they are witnessing lesser footfalls, surely exhibitors are not able to latch up major box office revenues. With rains hampering revenues, small budgeted films that depend on collections are going to face the music. If there is relief from rains at least from Monday, surely collections will improve. Else, Amazon Prime and Netflix will be benefitted.

The talk of the town is cinematographer Ratnavelu’s new and brilliant technique being used for Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. Buzz in Tollywood is that Ratnavelu has used a new technique laced with technology for Sarileru and the word has gone out in the market where industry people are curious about this update.
For the CG works, usually, the makers have to wait for the final CG output. And the unit has to shoot keeping the CG work in mind. The actors, cinematographer and director have to visualize the CG output in their respective minds and shoot accordingly. But in a revolutionary change, Ratnavelu had got the CG plates ready before the shoot. With this, it comes in handy as the unit could see how the final output would actually shape up based on these CG plates.
Ratnavelu has done this for Sarileru Neekevvaru and Mahesh is said to be quite happy and excited with this. It is buzzed that Ratnavelu is getting a lot of inquiries on this from industry folks and other producers who want to adapt this to their films. This is indeed a big step forward in filmmaking in Tollywood, all thanks to new technology.
Gali’s batch is back in business?
After many twists and turns in Karnataka politics, the former state Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has finally achieved CM chair. This development seemingly gave a humongous boost to Yeddy’s close friend and former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy’s batch.
As long as Congress-JD(S) coalition government was ruling Karnataka, the impact of Gali’s batch was very meagre. But, once Yeddyurappa is back as CM, the mining baron’s team became active in Karnataka. Gali is undoubtedly one of the biggest funders for the party and with BJP coming back to power, the time has come for Gali Janardhan’s batch to show their potential. In the past, mining baron was able to become minister in Yeddy’s cabinet and now, Gali’s close aide B Sriramulu is more likely to become deputy Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Sriramulu presented his strength with a huge gathering while paying tributes to Bellary Raghava’s statue. Making this event as an occasion, Sriramulu has said: “Many people are saying that I would become deputy CM in this government. But, I never expected any position and I’ll take up any portfolio that is given to me.” This event was attended by Gali Janardhan Reddy brother, Bellary MLA Gali Somasekhara Reddy and many BJP karyakartas. Sriramulu further said that ‘I don’t belong to just one district, because I get love from all parts of the state.’
The former MP also said: “Karnataka will begin to progress in the leadership of Yeddyurappa” and he foretold that BJP MLAs will emerge victorious in all assembly segments, if by-polls are held in 17 constituencies where MLAs have resigned.
