Babu Furious With Lingamaneni?

Share

The name of businessman and TDP politician Lingamaneni Ramesh is associated with illegal constructions on the Krishna, and the residences of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan in the new capital region.

When Pawan Kalyan helped the TDP come to power, everything was smooth for some time. But later, Pawan started to feel that he was not getting due prominence.

At this stage, Lingamaneni apparently told Pawan Kalyan that he would get his respect from the TDP only if he criticized them.

Pawan then started a vicious assault against Lokesh and the TDP accusing them of corruption.

Alarmed at these developments, Chandrababu asked Lingamaneni to meet him. But the latter avoided Chandrababu and said he would explain everything in due course.

But later, things spiraled out of control and eventually, the Jana Sena contested on its own and ate into the vote bank of the TDP.

Had the Jana Sena supported TDP again, the yellow party would have put up a far better performance in the recent elections.

Therefore, Chandrababu holds Lingamaneni responsible for his electoral debacle.

Guru Brahma!, say Yellow batch

Navayuga Engineering Private Ltd led by C Vishweshwar Rao is one of the contractors for Polavaram.

This man was in the good books of Chandrababu Naidu but with YSRCP winning the election and there being large-scale allegations of corruption in the Polavaram works, naturally, Vishweshwar Rao is a worried man. So, what does he do?

He goes and meets the head of Saradha Peetham in Vizag. Now, it is common knowledge that KCR and Jagan believe in the Saradha Peetham and look to it for guidance.

Therefore, by getting into the good books of Saradha Peetham, maybe Vishweshwar Rao is looking to retain his contracts or prevent any inquiries against his firm.

He also has the support of Eenadu as recently, his son got married to the granddaughter of Ramoji Rao. But that is the latest trend.

All yellow businessmen are actively running after seers and spiritual heads believed to be close to YSRCP and TRS to extricate themselves from any possible acts of vendetta.

Popular Heroine Passes Intermediate With Distinction

Share

At a young age, this heroine has not just gained national attention but won lots of awards too. She is none other than Rinku Rajgaru, whose acts as a lead girl of super hit Marathi movie ‘Sairat’ got all the fame and name.

Despite the fact that she’s into films, the actress is actually studying and passed her SSC in 2017. And now in her intermediate, she has excelled in studies as well like how she shined on the silver screen. She has scored Maharashtra HSC result with highest marks in Geography, while got good marks in Political Science as well.

We have seen how heroines like Tamanna Bhatia and Alia Bhatt have quit their studies after their 10th standard such that they could pursue their acting career. While some heroines like Kangana have finished studies through distance education, some never feel the need to earn a degree. But it looks like Rinku Rajguru is hellbent on finishing her studies. Wish her more luck folks.

If CM Seat Is On Mind, Jr NTR Has To Wake Up

Share

Going by Jr NTR’s comments, as said in social circles, that he got upset with the arrangements made at NTR Ghat other day, one wonders if the talented star hero is contemplating to become Chief Minister one day like his grandfather. At a time when Telugudesam cadres’ morale is low due to the recent defeat in elections, Junior raising his voice sounds like some political thoughts are on his mind.

In case if Junior has such aspirations, surely this is the time for him to wake up, quit films and join full-time politics. If you start (or join) a party before elections, cinema glamour might help get TV and social media coverage, but that reception won’t turn into votes. While people stormed to polling booths for a cinema star in 1983, that doesn’t happened in 2009 when Megastar Chiru made an entry or in 2019 when Pawan Kalyan is in the fray. What more examples Jr NTR will need to understand that cinema glamour is of no use to political ambitions at this moment?

Majorly, Pawan Kalyan’s inability to turn all the fan energy into votes, explains how the voters are actually thinking. One has to tour the state like anything, meet people, and find resonance with them. Then only he could emerge as a mass leader and end up winning massively like YS Jagan. Telugu voters have become so independent and intelligent that they are rejecting incompetent politicians outright, even though if the person is a famous celebrity.

And if Junior wants to tackle Telugudesam, then first he has to sort out the unspoken issues with Chandrababu and Balakrishna, before taking a plunge. There is no chance to start up a faction-war inside TDP now like how Hari Krishna did it earlier because already morale of cadres is quite weak. Also, cadres might not rally alongside Junior because he has no political experience. And if NTR is willing to join the league started by his grandad, then he will be in Top 5 eventually, but not emerge as Top 1 contender with Naidu calling the shots.

Jagan’s Secularism Is Going To Win Hearts

Share

During his massive Pada Yaatra program, YS Jagan has got closer to many sections of the society and that’s why they have showered immense love on him during the election. And then, there are rumours here and then that the YSRC President sidelines with one particular religion. However, Jagan is breaking such myths.

Today morning, along with his family members, YS Jagan is visiting holy Tirumala temple and will offer prayers to Lord Balaji early in the day. Already Tirumala priests are said to have made grand arrangements to receive the Chief Minister designate. Later, Jagan will be flying to Kadapa, where he will be visiting the Sufi shrine Ameen Peer Dargah, popularly known as Pedda Dargah in the region. He will be offering Cheddar and pray at the shrine. Then he will head to CSI Church in Kadapa, to take part in the special mass.

Isn’t this enough to showcase how secular Jagan is? Many of the Yuva Neta’s fans are feeling quite happy for these happenings, as that is not only going to give a positive start to Jagan’s tenure as Chief Minister but will also spend good message across all sections of the society about their leader.

YSRCP To Move Court On LS Polls In Guntur, Srikakulam

Share

The YSR Congress is planning to move the court with regard to Lok Sabha polls in Guntur and Srikakulam constituencies. A decision to this extent was taken by party chief and Chief Minister-designate Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. The YSRCP would approach the court in a couple of days, according to Modugula Venugopal Reddy and Alla Rama Krishna Reddy.

Venugopal Reddy said that he had discussed the issue with their party chief and would challenge the victory of Galla Jayadev from Guntur. He alleged that 9,500 postal ballot were not counted. He blamed the polling officials for his defeat and found fault with them for declaring the result without counting the postal ballot. He said that he took the issue to the notice of the returning officer. ‘However, the RO did not pay attention to my words,’ he said.

Of the total 25 MP seats in the state, the YSRC won 22 leaving the remaining three to the TDP, which won them with a slight majority. The Lok Sabha constituencies won by the TDP include Guntur, Srikakulam and Vijayawada.

In Srikakulam too, the TDP won with a very thin majority and hence, the YSRC is planning to approach the court seeking recounting of votes in this constituency too. The two YSRCP MP aspirants are confident that they would emerge victorious if recounting is done and hope that the court would do justice to them.

However, the TDP leaders did not make any comments regarding the issue. After the humiliating defeat in the polls, the TDP leaders are preferring to be silent. Before counting and after the polls, the TDP raised its voice against tampering of electronic voting machines. The party chief, N. Chandrababu Naidu, even drew support of all the regional parties in the country regarding the EVM tampering and fought with the Election Commission of India.

He even filed a case in the court regarding the same. However, after the humiliating defeat in the polls, the TDP leaders are not voicing their opinions. In fact, the party supremo called for a meeting on May 29th with the MLAs to analyse the reasons for the rout.

Revanth Reddy Denies Rumours Of Party Switch

Share

Having elected as Malkajgiri Parliament member, Congress leader Revanth Reddy had sent signals to the ruling TRS that he could still play a major role in leading an anti-KCR front. On Tuesday, Mr Reddy was felicitated by CPI leaders at their party office in Hyderabad. It’s known that CPI declared its open support to Revanth Reddy in Lok Sabha polls.

Speaking at this event, Revanth Reddy said: “I am blessed to win from Malkajgiri Parliament constituency which is considered to be a mini India. People of Telangana taught a good lesson to KCR who tried to ridicule Democracy with his actions.” Also, the former Telugu Desam leader said that he lived up the expectations of the party and President Rahul Gandhi, with his victory.

Iterating that he will pitch for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the star leader of Congress denied the speculation that he’s leaving party. He said that there’s no truth in those rumours. By defeating M Rajasekhar Reddy, TRS candidate, in Lok Sabha polls, Revanth Reddy is back in the headlines after staying away from media since he lost assembly polls in December.

Beard days are back for Balakrishna!

Share

Nandamuri Balakrishna, one of the three TDP MLAs elected from Rayalaseema, has on Tuesday attended NTR birth anniversary celebrations in his Hindupur constituency. The actor, who was accompanied by wife Vasundhara Devi, thanked the voters of Hindupur for keeping their trust on him again.

Balakrishna also assured that he will continue to do the develop activities for Hindupur and went on to urge the TDP supporters to not lose heart for the party’s debacle in elections. Hundreds of party members attended the event to celebrate it along with their MLA.

Apart from his speech, what caught everyone’s eye is the fierce look of Nandamuri Balakrishna. His thickly grown beard, with a little portion of it in grey, has brought a raw aesthetic to Balakrishna. However, we do not know if it’s for his upcoming project with filmmaker KS Ravi Kumar. On the other hand, rumors are rife that Balakrishna could be elected as leader of opposition in the state assembly.

Saaho Talk: BGM Okay, What About Songs?

Share

After the exit of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy from “Saaho”, fans of Prabhas are eagerly waiting to see who will be given the music mantle. Of course, names of both Thaman and Ghibran are being heard in this connection, but that is what worries cinema lovers.

Both these composers have failed to deliver interesting songs in recent times, while their background scores are top notch. But already we have seen visuals of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor shooting for a song know? Who composed those songs then? Maybe Shankar Ehsaan Loy gave a couple of songs and they have exited from the balance work. Some sources revealed that Thaman is giving up a couple of projects to take up Saaho, whose release date is already announced.

There is no denial about Thaman’s terrific background score, which recently saved some films like Simmba (Hindi) and Majili, and made them blockbusters. But he stopped giving those soul-stirring and foot tapping songs long back. Let’s hope he delivers this time.

Bangalore Girl Vs Mangalore Beauty, For The Crown

Share

With Samantha getting married, Kajal ageing up a bit, Rakul Preet running after Bollywood, there came a huge vacuum in the ‘star heroine’ slots. And surprisingly the likes of Kiara Advani and Pooja Hegde filled it quite easily, while Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi limited themselves to certain films.

And recently, after Vinaya Vidheya Rama debacle, though Kiara Advani was offered many films, she hasn’t signed any. This is because she has almost four films in Bollywood now, including Kabir Singh, Good News, Shershah, Laxmi Bomb and Indu Ki Jawani. With four films lined up, it’s tough for her to sign Telugu movies, due to which she gave up Mahesh-Anil Ravipudi movie.

With Kiara out of the race, Mumbai girl Pooja Hegde, who has roots in Mangalore, remains that biggest option for star heroes as she has Allu Arjun -Trivikram movie and Prabhas’ film lined up. But then, Bangalore beauty Rashmika Mandanna is now breaking into this big zone after working with the likes of Vijay Devarakonda, Nithin and Naga Shourya.

As Kiara decided to drop from Mahesh-Anil Ravipudi film, now Rashmika signed up for that movie. Though she’s offered the film earlier as well, at that time she failed to adjust dates, it looks like now she made the adjustments.

Cinema observers could say that the competition for the top slot and the crown is between Pooja Hegde and Rashmika only.

BJP’s Fresh Shock To Mamata Banerjee!

Share

West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress party is yet to recover from the damage made by BJP in recent Lok Sabha elections. The saffron party has gained 18 out 42 seats in West Bengal and emerged as a strong force against Trinamool Congress in state. Now, Mamata Banerjee has received a fresh shock from BJP.

As per media reports, two legislators of Mamata’s party, a CPI MLA and more than 50 Councillors have joined BJP in New Delhi. BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya welcomed them into party by offering party scarf. The Suspended TMC leader Subhrangshu Roy also joined BJP. Not just these MLAs, many leaders of TMC are said to be in touch with BJP bosses and they are not happy with Mamata’s leadership.

It can be recalled that Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi, during his election campaign, warned Mamata that several of TMC members are in touch with him and waiting for his signal to switch sides. Now, it will be interesting to see how the chief of Trinamool Congress will react to this poaching from Bharatiya Janata Party that came back to power in centre for the second consecutive time.

AP To Get New Districts under Jagan Rule

Share

The successor state of Andhra Pradesh is going Telangana way. Taking a cue from Telangana which had formed new districts soon after the state has been carved out in 2014, new districts are likely to be formed in AP under Jagan’s rule. Although the proposal to create new districts has come before thrice, it hadn’t taken a shape back then. But Jagan is said to be keen on forming new districts to bring ease in administration. It is buzzed that 12 more new districts are under consideration in addition to existing 13 districts. As per reports, the new districts could be formed based on parliamentary constituencies.

Presently, AP has 25 parliamentary constituencies. Considering this, Jagan is toying with the idea of increasing the districts of Andhra Pradesh from 13 to 25. It can be noted that YS Jagan had promised during the polls that he will make every Lok Sabha constituency into a district once he forms the government. As Jagan is all set to form the government, his team is working on the creation of new districts. Officials have started the home-work regarding the proposed new districts. Once Jagan sworn-in as the Chief Minister, the file of new districts will be presented to him.

New Districts (Tentative)

Araku (currently in Visakhapatnam district), Anakapalle (currently in Visakhapatnam district), Amalapuram (currently in East Godavari district), Rajahmundry (currently in East Godavari district), Narsapuram (currently in West Godavari district), Vijayawada (currently in Krishna district), Narsaraopeta (currently in Guntur district), Bapatla (currently in Guntur district), Nandyala (currently in Kurnool district), Hindupur (currently in Anantapur district), Tirupati (currently in Chittoor district), Rajampeta (currently in Kadapa district)

Tribal District

As Jagan had promised to form a Tribal district (Girijana Zilla), there is some confusion on which will be announced as a Tribal District. While a few senior leaders of YCP want Jagan to announce Araku as the Tribal district, few others want the Agency region between Srikakulam and Vizianagaram as Tribal district with Parvathipuram as the Centre. It is said that Araku will be formed as a separate district and Agency region in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram will be made as a separate district.
