Anushka Shetty Reacts On Her Injured Rumours

The latest news on Anushka Shetty’s accident on the sets left her fans in worry and upset state. The rumours were rife from the last couple of days that the actress got injured while shooting for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and she reportedly fractured her leg. This news circulated at a fast pace and her fans showed concerned over the same.

However, the actress responded to all these rumours with one single update on her Instagram. She posted a written text photo on her Instagram handle saying that ‘I’m hale, healthy and happy shooting in Seattle. Love you all’. This update gave instant relief to all as the actress herself confirmed her well-being.

The news also spread that she was asked to take bed rest for a few weeks and people started speculating that the shooting would be postponed, leading to the delay in the release of the film. It is happy to know that no scenes have been procrastinated and Anushka is happy shooting for her important sequences in this long-awaited film. Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charn, Sye Raa is all set to hit the screens on October 2 and Megastar Chiru’s fans are thrilled to watch him on big screens after a long gap.

Guesthouses not available on rent for Naidu!

With the demolition threat looming large on his leased residence on the banks of Krishna river at Vundavalli, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has now been compelled to look for an alternative residence.

He asked his party leaders to look for a reasonably comfortable residence in and around Vijayawada, from where he will have relatively easy access to the state assembly or any other place in Guntur and Amaravati.

The TDP leaders have reportedly identified a couple of guest houses – one near A-1 convention centre and another near Novotel Hotel in Vijayawada which are spacious and not occupied.

In fact, these guest houses came up during the TDP regime and were used by the party leaders in the past.

However, when they contacted the guest house owners, they refused to give them on lease for Naidu.

It was a shocking for the TDP leaders, as the same landlords had got several favours from the Naidu government in the past.

Finally, the TDP could find a building near Kamineni Hospitals which was suitable for Naidu’s residence.

Apparently, it belonged to a leader closer to Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu. But it is not known whether this building owner, too, has agreed to lease it to Naidu.

Meanwhile, Naidu also suggested that he would adjust himself even in a smaller house if it is located nearer to Velagapudi secretariat. But the party leaders told him there could be security issues for him in that area.

So, the hunt is still on for Naidu’s residence!

Do we need new Secretariat and Assembly, KCR?

Notwithstanding protests from the opposition parties and the heritage conservationists, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao went ahead with the ground breaking ceremony for the new secretariat and legislature complexes at two different locations.

At 11 am, KCR laid foundation for the secretariat complex behind the existing D block in the existing premises amidst chanting of Vedic hymns. Ministers and other elected representatives including MLAs, MPs and MLCs attended the ceremony.

At around noon, the chief minister laid the stone for the new integrated Legislative Assembly complex at Errum Manzil.

The ceremony was held at Jalasoudha in front of the ENC irrigation office. The new legislative assembly will house the assembly, council halls and central halls.

The new secretariat is being built in about four lakh square feet with an estimated cost of Rs 400 crore. On the other hand, the cost of the new assembly is expected to touch Rs 100 crore.

The moot question here is whether the Telangana, which is facing severe financial crisis now, requires a new Secretariat and assembly, when the present Secretariat and Assembly buildings are in good condition.

Regarding Secretariat, Andhra Pradesh has recently vacated and handed over buildings under its occupation also in Hyderabad.

Now, it is a huge and spacious premises with more than enough space to run the administration of Telangana State.

Similarly, the state assembly is also in a very good condition. Till five years ago, it hosted assembly sessions with 294 members.

Now, there are only 119 members. Moreover, it was beautified and renovated sufficiently in the last five years.

At the same time, the assembly sessions are hardly held for 60 days in a year in three seasons. So, is it necessary to have a new assembly for such a small period?

Telangana is facing many other problems like bad roads, insufficient drainage system, water logging and traffic jams. Why can’t Telangana government focus on them?

Sree Mukhi Confirmed for Bigg Boss 3

Many names are doing the rounds as contestants for “Bigg Boss” Season 3 but so far only four or five names have been finalized.

Rest of them are still having discussions with STAR MAA TV. But our sources have confirmed that Sreemukhi has already signed on the dotted line to participate in the show.

Bigg Boss team has been trying to add more glamorous contestants this season as the second season lacked known faces.

Their attempts to rope in likes of Gutta Jwala have failed. Sree Mukhi would definitely add glamour as she has some good following among the youth.

“Bigg Boss Telugu 3” will be hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni. Promos of the season are already being aired. Nagarjuna will meet the press next month. The show is likely to be aired towards the end of July.

Why BJP leaders are opposing demolitions?

The demolition of Praja Vedika, the conference hall constructed by the previous Telugu Desam Party government on the banks of Krishna river near Vundavalli in Andhra Pradesh was definitely not taken kindly by the TDP headed by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

While YSR Congress party leaders are strongly defending the decision on the ground that Praja Vedika was an illegal construction, a couple of opposition parties like Jana Sena Party and the CPI (M) also welcomed the move.

Surprisingly, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have opposed the demolition of the conference hall.

Former Union minister and senior leader Daggubati Purandeshwari, who is in fact a bitter critic of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, felt that Praja Vedika should not have been demolished.

While admitting that it was not correct to allow illegal constructions, Purandeshwari said it would have been better if the building had been used for other public purposes.

BJP state unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana, too, described the demolition of Praja Vedika by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government as a hasty decision.

“It might be an unauthorised construction, but it should not have been demolished. Instead, it could have been converted into a hospital or used for other public purposes. Public money worth more than Rs 8 crore has gone down the drain,” he said.

One wonders why the BJP leaders, who should have been happy with the troubles created to Naidu, were so disappointed.

Inquiries revealed that several constructions that came up on the banks of Krishna river belonged to the BJP leaders.

For example, former BJP MP Gokaraju Gangaraju has a huge farmhouse nearer to Chandrababu Naidu’s residence.

He also has a share in the massive building that houses the nature cure hospital of Manthena Satyanarayana Raju a few metres away.

If Praja Vedika is demolished, the government will have go in for demolition of all those illegal constructions. And that was the reason why the BJP leaders have become panicky!

Pictures of Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani’s over 200-diamond encrusted Hermès Himalaya Birkin bag, worth over Rs 2.6 crore, has gone viral on the social media.

In the images posted on the social media, Nita Ambani is seen wearing a white ensemble and carrying the Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag. Bollywood divas Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are also seen in the photograph.

According to christies.com, Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag is considered the ‘Holy Grail in a Handbag’ collection. It has more than 240 diamonds on its 18-karat-gold hardware.

Back in 2017, the white Himalaya crocodile diamond style bag fetched $379,261 at auction with Christie’s. With the deal, it became the most expensive bag ever sold, it was claimed.

The auction house had described the bag as “an exceptional, matte white Himalaya Niloticus crocodile diamond Birkin”.

According to christies.com, the Himalaya Birkin is crafted from Nile crocodile hide. The mention of Himalaya does not apply to the origin of the bag, but to the gradation of the colour.

Named after the actor and singer Jane Birkin, Birkin bags are famous for their price tags and celebrity owners.

The Indian cricket team will wear orange colored jersey when they play against England in the on-going ICC Cricket World Cup. Though the images of jersey images are not officially revealed by the BCCI, speculated pictures are making waves in the social media.

This has caught the attention of political parties and they have found fault in it. Congress and Samajwadi Parties are opposing the orange colored jersey and demanded to change color immediately.

“PM Modi wants to color the entire country with saffron. There are other colours in the Tricolour, why choose only orange?” questioned a Samajwadi party MLA from Maharashtra. He added the Tricolour should be respected and national harmony should be promoted.

100 Cr Defamation Suit On Popular Telugu News Channel

Of course, slapping legal notice, that too a defamation suit, has become quite fashionable these days. Anil Ambani slapped defamations suit on Congress party only to withdraw later, while an update on hero Nani’s defamation suit against actress Sri Reddy is not known. And now, one of the leading Telugu TV channels has received such suit.

A ‘pan masala’ producing company has taken to a severe objection regarding the airing of a special news-reel where this TV channel mocked down the brand’s product saying that it might contain carcinogenic compounds that cause cancer. The program is aimed at how Hyderabad’s pan shops are still selling pan, gutka and others, even though they are banned by the government.

This ‘pan masala’ company has now filed a defamation suit to the tune of 100 crores, where they have including the names of company’s MD, newsreader of that episode, editor-in-chief of the channel, a reporter who spoke from ground, as the accused. And then, the case was publicly announced through a newspaper ad.

We have to see where this ‘defamation’ suit will end.

Superstar Krishna and late Vijaya Nirmala was one of those strong couples who remained faithful to each other despite all the hurdles in life and seem to have loved every minute of their togetherness. Jagan’s stand on River Front constructions in Amaravati has become huge talking point in political and media circles. Especially, Jagan’s move to demolish Praja Vedika has brought a lot of doubts on his future moves pertaining to Chandrababu’s lease house and other prominent bungalows in the River Conversation Area in the Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA).

While speculations are also rife that Naidu’s lease bungalow that is situated next to Praja Vedika is the immediate target, the talk doing the rounds is what will be Jagan’s stand on the likes of Gokaraju Rangaraju and Manthena Satyanarayana Raju. Gokaraju Rangaraju has a posh guest house in the CRDA region. The guest bungalow is very close to the river and in fact it is less than 100 metres from the river. Whereas Manthena Satyanarayana Raju has a multi-storied health care centre that is also close to river Krishna.

While these are a handful, many big shots has properties, constructions that are close to the river. Close on the heels of Jagan’s decision on buildings in river conversation area, the big shots are said to be worried over their buildings. This is said to be the reason behind Jagan slowing down on Naidu’s bungalow.

The moot question is that will Jagan stick to his stand and continue to take action on all the bungalows that fall under River Conversation Area? Or Will Jagan government take convenient decisions on case-to-case basis? Let’s wait and see.

Sensational Move: AP Govt To Return Lands To Farmers

In a sensational decision, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to return lands to the farmers who wants their lands. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has corroborated that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the decision after 3 hour long review meet on CRDA (Capital Regional Development Authority).

According to Botsa, CM Jagan said no one’s land should be taken forcibly under Land Pooling and hence, the government is going to return land to the farmers who want their lands back. It is learnt that Jagan told CRDA officials and minister Botsa that the people should know that something good is being done.

Alleging the previous government of massive corruption, Botsa said they found that the previous government had practiced corrupt practices at every stage of the Land Pooling Scheme. “It is corruption everywhere in land pooling, capital development works and land allotments,” said Botsa confirming that another review meeting with CM and CRDA officials would take place soon.

With this, the capital works of Amaravati are expected to take a hit and the capital works would slow further.
