Telangana debts up by 159 percent!
Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the debts of Telangana state have gone up by 159 percent in the last five years. As of March 2019, the total value of debts is Rs 1,80,239 crore. When the separate state was formed the outstanding debts were Rs 69,517 crore.
In response to Congress MP MA Khan’s question, Nirmala revealed these figures in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. The Finance minister also said, the government has raised the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) limit to all the state for once and so Telangana government took a loan of Rs 8923 crore to take over the Power supply providers (DISCOMS) for the year 2016-17.
Balayya’s relative quits TDP, Joins BJP
The defection of leaders from TDP to BJP is not stopping yet. Four Rajya Sabha MPs followed by former MLA Ambika Krishna have already taken up the saffron party. Even before this episode is over, one more TDP leader has quit the party. The more shocking news is, this leader is close relative to Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.
He is Krishna district’s Potluri Krishna Babu from Pamarru constituency. Along with his wife, Krishna Babu have joined the BJP in the presence of Incharge of BJP Mahila Morcha, Daggubati Purandeswari. It is being widely discussed that Purandeswari is heard to be playing a key role in pulling TDP leaders to BJP and we might expect more leaders in future.
There are also allegations that Balakrishna is doing no efforts to contain his relatives who are already in TDP since ages from leaving the party. Looks like BJP is doing ‘Operation Akarsh’ on TDP with full force.
Do You Know? This Heroine Got Married
Remember this heroine who has impressed with the movie ‘Okariki Okaru’? She’s none other than Aarti Chabria, the Mumbai based model who has done a couple of Telugu films like Intlo Srimathi Veedhilo Kumari and Gopi, Godameedha Pilli. She has also featured in an item song with Venkatesh in Chintakayala Ravi movie.
Other day, the 36-year-old hottie got married to her lover Visharad Beedassy in a private ceremony at a five star hotel and later shared the pictures of the wedding herself. She captioned them “Guess who just got married! Please give us your blessings”
On June 24th, Aarti got married to Visharad, who works as a CA in Mauritius and he’s said to be hailing from that country only. While nothing much is known about this love life of Aarti, she is actually making some YouTube videos and giving motivational speeches these days, while she tried her hand at directing movies too.
Back then, Aarti was known for her hottest looks and sizzled in two dozens Hindi movies too. However, she hasn’t catapulted to a bigger stardom.
Will Chiru get adjusted in BJP?
For the last couple of days, there have been speculations in the social media on the possible entry of megastar and former Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi into the Bharatiya Janata Party.
According to these speculations, some senior BJP leaders from Delhi have been holding negotiations with Chiranjeevi and offered him plum positions in the party.
Though there has been no confirmation or information from the megastar, the BJP leaders are said be optimistic that he would definitely join the saffron party.
If these speculations are true, then it is definitely a sensational news in Andhra politics.
The BJP, which is desperate to gain a footing in Andhra Pradesh, will make full use of Chiranjeevi’s charisma to grow in the state.
Already, it has roped in four Telugu Desam Party MPs and a host of party leaders like Ambika Krishna.
Apparently, BJP hopes to capture the vote bank of Kapus in Andhra by bringing Chiranjeevi into the party.
It is learnt the BJP leadership has offered to give him Rajya Sabha ticket besides making him the state BJP president.
But, one wonders whether Chiranjeevi will adjust himself in the BJP, which he had criticized strongly in the past. Secondly, one doubts whether Chiranjeevi still has the charisma to win the votes for the BJP.
After seeing the miserable performance of his younger brother Pawan Kalyan and the Praja Rajyam fiasco, it is unlikely that the people will believe the mega brothers again.
The voters have become more practical than emotional these days!
Koratala Siva Looking for a Different Actress
Now that Megastar Chiranjeevi has wrapped up the shoot of “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”, director Koratala Siva has begun pre-production work of his next film in serious mode.
Koratala Siva will direct Chiranjeevi in a new entertaining movie that also is loaded with social message.
He has not finalized female lead for Chiranjeevi yet. Koratala idea is to cast an actress who would suit the age and image of Megastar.
For Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu”, he went all the way to Mumbai to consider several new faces and has finalized Kiara Advani. He always looks for fresh pairing of female stars with his lead heroes.
Initially, Koratala Siva has considered the names of Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara and Shruti Haasan but now he is planning to rope in a fresh face. The film will commence its shoot in August and will be released on 10 April 2020.
Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi’s film will be produced by Matinee Entertainments and Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions.

Kabir Singh: Shahid gets his first Rs 100 cr-grosser
Kabir Singh is rock steady on Tuesday as it has a very limited drop from Monday.
The film should collect in the 16 crore nett range on Tuesday which would mean the film has hardly dropped 5% from Monday which is fantastic trending at these levels.
This will take the film to around 104 crore nett in just five days and looking at the trend so far the film could go anywhere.
The drop on Tuesday was at the bigger multiplexes while mass centres showed no drop and some even went up.
It has already crossed the first week business of all releases this year barring one in just five days and this includes some films which had extended eight day first weeks.
The only film of which it has not crossed teh first week business of Bharat but it will be no surprise if it crosses the lifetime business of that film considering the first five days of this film.
Kabir Singh is an official remake of the 2017 Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy that featured Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey as the lead pair.
The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed the original. It narrates the story of an alcoholic, brash surgeon who takes the path of self-destruction after his girlfriend marries someone else.
The positive portrayal of the lead character has received criticism from several quarters. Most film critics found it “disturbingly misogynistic” and “violent.” The negative reviews, however, have had no effect on the film’s business.
Chandrababu Will Be In Jail Within 2 Years!
If the moves of BJP government at the Centre and YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh are any indication, TDP chief and former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu will be sent to jail within two years.
Most probably, Chandrababu will have to lead TDP in upcoming 2024 Assembly polls from the jail itself, provided TDP remains till then and party reins remain in the hands of Chandrababu.
The indications to this effect were given by none other than Sunil Deodhar, AP BJP incharge, known to be very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure as CM from 2014 to 2019 was the most corrupt regime in the entire country. Chandrababu and TDP leaders looted public money left, right and centre.
“Chandrababu can’t escape jail for his corruption. The countdown for sending Chandrababu to jail has begun. Within two years, Chandrababu will be in jail. This is bound to happen. There is no doubt about it,” Sunil Deodhar said.
He indicated that BJP government at the Centre is on the job to fix Naidu through Income Tax, Enforcement Directorate and CBI.
These instituions are going all out to gather solid proofs to establish Naidu’s corruption, misuse of office, money laundering and evasion of taxes to book cases against him.
In any case, the Centre is keen to put Naidu behind bars by May 2021.
In AP, the YSRCP government is doing its bit to book Naidu in corruption cases pertaining to allotment of lands in Amaravathi to his henchmen for throwaway prices, corruption in awarding contracts of irrigation projects, highways, roads and buildings etc.
AP CM YS Jagan ordered various departments to submit reports on how public money was looted by Naidu during the last five years.
This apart, the cash for vote case against Naidu in Telangana is already under investigation and KCR wants to pursue the case vigorously to put Naidu behind bars if he chooses to settle in Hyderabad.
The noose is tightening around Naidu’s neck with Modi, Jagan and KCR keen on not sparing Chandrababu, come what may.
Samantha In Aggressive Mode!
Actress Samantha Akkineni is going all out for her upcoming movie ‘Oh! Baby.’ This film is slated for July 5th release and as the date is nearing, Samantha is promoting the movie quite aggressively.
Also this time, Samantha is giving away television interviews to the national media, so that there will be a wider reach for the film. Apart from this, the promotional events are being planned in Vijayawada, Vizag and Tirupathi cities.
The pre-release event of ‘Oh! Baby’ will be held on June 29th in Hyderabad and after that Samantha will fly to the above mentioned cities for promotions.
Not just this, they are also promoting the movie in all platforms leaving nothing. Samantha is personally looking after the promotions too.
With a superb response to the trailer and songs, the film has already garnered good buzz. So Sam is leaving no stone unturned to make ‘Oh! Baby’ a box office winner.
