Big Numbers By ‘Kabir Singh’
Bollywood movie ‘Kabir Singh’ which came out as the official Hindi remake of block buster film ‘Arjun Reddy’ turned out to be a blockbuster.The movie has made a gross of about 25.50 crore nett collections on Sunday and the weekend collections are around 68 crore nett. Though the numbers are not as big as ‘Bharat’, by the final run, ‘Kabir Singh’ is also doing exceptionally well.
The film has done well in the first weekend and the trade is expecting good numbers even on Monday as well. However, even if the film collections are moderate on the weekdays, the movie still has good chances to score big in the next two weekends. Except for Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ which will release on July 12, ‘Kabir Singh’ has no major competition.
Cine1 Studios and T-Series collaborated and bankrolled this project which is helmed by Sandeep Vanga who wielded the mega phone for ‘Arjun Reddy’. Kiara Advani played the female lead in the movie.
Is Nani’s Movie Similar To Agent Athreya?
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya impressed everyone from the beginning of their promotional campaign. Naveen Polisetty seemed to be one of the best things to happen to the film.He and Swaroop, the director could craft a decent film within the limited budget and twists really made youth go for the film and enjoy it.
After a weekend that saw the theatre count and show count rise, Monday is going as expected for such a movie. All other releases have dropped big time.
Now, the reports from Tollywood insiders suggest that the movie tensed up Nani’s Gangleader team as there are similarities with Agent Athreya story.
Few twists are executed differently but are similar in nature, it seems. Anyways, Gangleader team has no time to really change the script, hence they may change few scenes and editing patterns it seems.
Sye Raa Producers Aiming For Best Trailer Ever!
Sye Raa is the most awaited film of the year and many fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi are waiting for a big blockbuster from the actor.Surrender Reddy and his team are working 18-20 hours a day to complete all the works of the film by September end to have an October release for sure.
Another 20-30 days of shoot is still remaining as per the sources but maximum parts of the film has been shot say the same! Some corrections from Chiranjeevi have been implemented and shot, it seems.
Anushka Shetty completed her part and Tamannah is also expected to complete her portions soon. Already Nayantara and several others like Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeepa, Amitabh Bachchan completed their portions too.
Now, the latest news is that the producers have planned to release first single from the film after World Cup is over in July and then a small teaser in August first week.
They will release theatrical trailer on 22nd August with date, once they can confirm it. This trailer, teaser and song should be off International standards is the ultimatum from producer of the film, Ram Charan to the team, it seems.
As he gave them the deadlines and also the instructions to aim for, the team is taking Baahubali as example and trying to cut trailers as engaging as they can, it seems. Also they have to be able attract Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi viewers too.
Hence, trailer specialists are working with all the footage available from last week and they want to cut at least three versions before August first week, it seems.

Italy Specialists For Mahesh Babu
Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu who has recently scored a decent hit with ‘Maharshi’ movie is all set to do a movie ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ under the direction of Anil Ravipudi of blockbuster movie ‘F2’ Fame.
The movie has already been launched officially and the regular shooting of the film will go on sets very soon. The first schedule of the movie is going to take place in Kashmir and as per the latest buzz, the makers will can some stylish action episodes that features Mahesh Babu as an army man. On this note, the makers have already roped in a special team of action choreographers from Italy for the film. Mahesh Babu is currently getting trained under their supervision. This is going to take place for a week and after that he will join the sets.
The Kashmir schedule will take place for 2 weeks. Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this movie. Senior actress Vijayashanthi is going to mark her come back with this film being bankrolled by Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju.

Rakul Preet who used to be a star heroine in Tollywood has been testing her luck in Bollywood and Kollywood lately. Her previous outing is ‘NGK’ starring Suriya which failed to become a hit.

Charmme Gives a Shock To Bellamkonda Hero
Young Hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has been eagerly waiting to score a proper hit at the box office. But none of his attempts are working out well. Even his recent outing ‘Sita’ also ended up as a disaster at the box office.
Now, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has only his hopes on his upcoming film ‘Rakshasudu’. Touted to be the remake of Tamil super hit film ‘Ratsasan’, Ramesh Verma is helming this project. Also, as Bellamkonda’s market is also not that great, the makers wanted to have a solo release for the film. So, they discussed with the makers of Ram’s upcoming ‘iSmart Shankar’. On this note, Charmme accepted to release ‘iSmart Shankar’ on July 12th whereas ‘Rakshasudu’ movie took the date July 18th. But it is known that ‘iSmart Shankar’ got postponed to July 18th which became a headache for ‘Rakshasudu’ movie unit. When asked about Charmme’s one sided decision without consulting with ‘Rakshasudu’ team, she is just trying to do dodge the question claiming that it happened because of some reasons and she can’t do anything about it.
So, now ‘Rakshasudu’ has to compete with ‘iSmart Shankar’ movie at the box office. But as ‘iSmart Shankar’ is a commercial film and ‘Rakshasudu’ is a suspense thriller, we have to wait and see which movie will become a hit.
Indian Superstar Have No Film In His Hands
It’s been more than a decade since Shahrukh Khan scored his last Box Office success. He hadn’t tasted success after ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ in 2008. Even the much-hyped ‘Fan’ and ‘Zero’ failed miserably. SRK hadn’t signed any new project even though his last flick released six months ago. In fact, The Actor doesn’t feel like signing one.
Shahrukh Khan doesn’t mind saying he don’t have a single film in his hands at the moment. ‘I’m not feeling like I should sign a project. My Heart doesn’t allow Me to do so. Just want to spend time with family, My Son is completing his studies and My Daughter is going to college. I wish to be with them as much as possible, read books, listen to stories and watch movies,’ he said.
May be, The long break could help Shahrukh Khan introspect what went wrong in the past decade. Still, SRK is one of the finest actors of Bollywood. It’s just his choice of scripts has to be good enough for the Box Office success.
While Salman Khan and Aamir Khan had mostly delivered successful films, SRK kept failing to come anywhere close to them. Back-to-back failures kept worrying Fans and they just want Shahrukh Khan to bounce back strongly.
