Breaking the shackles, now ‘Hello’ fame heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan want to showcase her glamorous side too. But she’s not getting too spicy and saucy, anyway. Posing for the latest edition of ‘Wedding Vows’ magazine, she looked a bundle of sunshine in that bridal golden dress. The ensemble brought out a bit of glamorous side in the young lady.

After debuting in Tollywood with Hello, Kalyani was recently seen in Chitralahari and will be next seen in Sharwanand’s Ranarangam. She’s seen only in supporting second heroine roles in her recent films and we have to see if she would crack into big league soon.

Sai Pallavi Is Not Naxalite As Expected

The moment this new film got launched, rumours have got intensified that Sai Pallavi is playing the role of a Naxalite in the movie. However, it looks like the radical element in the movie is something in a different movie but she will not be taking a gun into the hand all through.

Directed by Venu Udugula of Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha fame, Rana Dagguati and Sai Pallavi have teamed up for a movie now. The film is tentatively titled “Virataparvam 1992” and it deals with the story of a journalist played by Sai Pallavi who loves to take the lives of tribals as is, to the people.

And at the same time, Rana will be seen as a part student and part teacher in this movie revealed a source. And how the situations force these two interchange their paths and then they unite a societal evil is the rest of the story.

Though there is a bit of rebel element in the film, we hear that Suresh Babu asked the director to tone it down as too much of radical element is not connecting with people these days.

From the last two days, if one could notice, ace director SS Rajamouli is being mercilessly trolled by Mahesh Babu fans on Twitter. And one wonders why this sudden trolling of the director as they are clueless about why Mahesh fans got hurt with this leading director who was supposed to do a film with the superstar in the near future.

Recently when Rajamouli tweeted about TANA event, expressing that he is there in the USA for a personal thing but not for the NRI conferences, Mahesh Babu fans started confronting him on the micro-blogging site. And their blasting is due to Rajamouli’s non-tweeting about events related to Mahesh Babu.

“Rajamouli has time to tweet about TANA, but he neither spoke about Maharshi movie nor anything on Vijayanirmala’s death”, some Mahesh Babu fans are seen posting on the director’s Twitter page. In the first half of 2019, Rajamouli tweeted about various films including that of Jersey, Game Of Thrones, Saaho, Manmadhudu 2, #RRR and some promotional requests like Brahmastra and Bandobust, but haven’t spoken about some movies.

But Rajamouli speaking about anything is entirely his choice? Why is he obliged to speak about every single film?

The joining of veteran Congress leader and former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Nadendla Bhaskar Rao into the Bharatiya Janata Party came as a surprise to many people, but analysts say there is a strategy behind it.

Nadendla has been away from active politics for over three decades now. In fact, nobody in the present generation politics acknowledges him as a leader.

Only seniors remember him as a person who served as the chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh for a period of one month, when he dethroned legendary actor and Telugu Desam Party founder-president N T Rama Rao.

He floated Prajaswamya Telugu Desam Party after he came out of the TDP, but it lost deposits in all the places. Later, he rejoined the Congress but has not been playing any role in the party.

Now, the question is what would Nadendla gain by joining the BJP at this stage? And what would the BJP gain by admitting a leader who is a spent force and has been away from politics for several years.

Sources say the BJP is trying to lay trap for Nadendla’s son Nadendla Manohar, former speaker of the assembly and still a popular leader in Andhra.

Manohar, who quit the Congress a few months before the assembly elections in AP and joined Jana Sena, has gone silent after the debacle in the elections.

Apparently, the BJP wants to lure Manohar by first attracting his father. If Nadenda family joins the BJP, it will give considerable strength in Guntur district, the party leaders hope.

Let us see what Manohar will do now.

Oh Baby has not only opened to glowing reviews but also generated positive word of mouth that is translating into good collections.

Oh Baby opened on a solid note across multiplexes, A Centers and in overseas. It is set for a fabulous first weekend and fetch the first solo hit for Samantha.

Burrakatha that released along with Oh Baby has turned out to be a dud with critics giving it the thumbs down. Spiderman: Far From Home has taken the multiplexes by storm.

Brochevarevarura turned out to be a good hit among last week’s releases.

Last few weeks have been fruitful for Tollywood with movies like Agent Sai Srinivasa Atreya, Brochevarevarura and Oh Baby clicking at the ticket windows.

Blunder: Jaya Prada teaches wrong spelling to students

Actor and BJP leader Jaya Prada has been caught in weird incident teaching wrong spelling to school students. Jaya Prada visited a government run school in Rampur from where she unsuccessfully contested recently. Checking with students, Jaya Prada wrote “India is my contry” on the board instead of country.

This video of Jaya Prada committing a blunder is going viral and netizens are laughing and trolling her. The other shocking thing about this episode is the school teachers were also present when Jaya Prada misspelled ‘Country’ but did not object or correct her.

After Jaya Prada’s visit, the Basic Education Officer of Rampur said the word was later corrected and students were taught the proper spelling.

Piracy Is Not A Threat, Critics Are -Arjun Reddy Director

In what could be termed as the most sensational description anyone would ever give about critics, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame has ripped critics apart. His jibes are targeted at Bollywood critics though. Despite some famous critics giving 1-2 stars to Kabir Singh, the film collected more than 215+ crores already and here comes the director unleashing his fury on the Bollywood critics.

“Okay, these critics didn’t like me, that’s fine. But why do you talk about only one single aspect called feminism? Other than my directing and writing, there are 22 more crafts including terrific visuals, colour grading, sound design, background score and else. Why don’t you talk about them?” asks Sandeep Reddy, as he further added, “These type of pseudo-intellectuals are a threat to the film industry”.

He further compared piracy and critics, hitting a final nail into the coffin. “At least the piracy guys are a bit honest because they watch piracy film out of curiosity. But these type of critics who are parasites on film industry literally try to spoil the experience and kill it”.

During his interview with popular critic Anupama Chopra, the director made these comments and he has criticised the likes of Rajeev Masand and Sucharita Tyagi who have given terrible ratings to Kabir Singh.

Karnataka crisis: 13 MLAs Resigned

The coalition government appears to be heading for a split and also for crash. Nearly 13 MLAs belonging to the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) parties have sought Assembly speaker’s appointment to submit their resignation. Among the 13, two are from JD(S) while the rest 11 are from Congress.

All the lawmakers have reached Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar’s office on Saturday afternoon. As this news hit the headlines, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee chief called on important leaders and trying their best to pacify the upset MLAs.

If the speaker accepts these MLAs resignation then the coalition government strength will come down to 105 and to stake claims of government, the magic figure is 116.

Meanwhile the BJP is closing observing this political developments. The saffron party has 105 MLAs in assembly and one of the leaders said BJP has nothing to do with Congress and JD(S) MLAs quitting. However, they did not make any comment what if the coalition government collapses.

Agent Athreya Director Finds The RIght Hero

Reports are coming out the much hyped ‘item song’ from Prabhas upcoming movie Saaho has come out pretty well. Shot in a posh pub at Austria, the song features Bollywood starlet Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. It has her flaunting her sexy avatar and some crazy dance moves as well. Also, the song will have Prabhas posing in a suave avatar and matching a few steps.

The makers of Saaho are said to be hoping that the film’s item number will be one of those chartbusters of 2019 and will become a big hit. Early Jacky’s hot numbers like Ek Do Teen remix in Baaghi 2 or Sau Tarakhe in Dishoom are very big hits and Saaho item song will be no lesser than that, says a source in the know.
