Komatireddy all set to join BJP today
The Telangana Congress is having a hard time. Many leaders have already joined the ruling TRS and leaders who are not interested in KCR party, are looking at BJP. On that note Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy in all likely will join the saffron party today.
During the weekend, Komatireddy made sensation comments against the Telangana Congress and also on the in-charge Kuntia. He even blamed Chandrababu Naidu for Congress party’s poor show in the assembly polls. Taking Komatireddy’s comments into consideration, the Telangana Congress might serve show-cause notice to him. If this happens, as soon as Komatireddy receives the notices, he would announce that he will join BJP.
This clearly looks like plan by Komatireddy himself but what about his brother Venkat Reddy, who won as an MP from Bhongir on behalf of Congress. Political observers says that Venkat Reddy will take his own time but for sure will end up in BJP.
Targeting the 2023 elections, BJP is doing ‘Operation Akarsh’ on Reddy community leaders in Telangana. Whoever is left in Congress, the party wants to pull them off and is expected to one as the face of CM candidate.
‘Rahul should get married to become stronger’
The Congress President Rahul Gandhi has received an unsolicited piece of advice from Ramdas Athawale, who is the Union Minister and the president of Republic party. Athawale said that Rahul should get married to become stronger. The advice came out immediately when he was asked what should the Congress chief do to strengthen the party after a massive loss in the last Lok Sabha polls.
Ramdas quoted “Rahul should now get married to become stronger. Rahul is a good friend of mine and I have seen him working hard during elections”. The topic on Rahul’s marriage has been raised by many leaders earlier and Rahul gave a savage reply for that too. He said he is already married to the Congress party.
The advice by Ramdas is generating mixed reactions and memes on the internet as it was given just when Congress has held a few meetings to introspect on its poor performance in the elections. Moreover, after Rahul’s adamant decision on resigning the post has received unanimous rejected from all the leaders and left Congress in a confused state.
Currently, no party leader is ready to take over the top post of the party. This also includes Venugopal Rao and AK Anthony who denied taking the post.
Sharwa’s Shoulder Surgery Lasted For 11 Hours
Yesterday we heard reports that hero Sharwanand fractured his shoulder while skydiving in Bangkok and he returned to Hyderabad for medication. Today morning, Sharwanand underwent a surgery and it was a successful. A team of four ortho surgeons of performed this operation for nearly 11 hours.
At 5 PM this evening, Sharwa has been shifted to ICU and he will remain under doctors scrutiny till tomorrow morning for the next four days. The doctors have said that Sharwa’s injury is quite severe and so the surgery took time but it was a successful one.
Also the doctors have advised two months of complete bed rest for Sharwa and then he can be back to work.
Overall, Sharwa needs time to recover and hope he will get back soon.
Opinion: Admitting Failure Will Not Be Enough
In recent times, many heroes and directors got habituated to this habit of admitting to the failure of their film via social media. From Ram Charan after the release of Vinaya Vidheya Rama to Allu Sirish after ABCD release, from Teja after Sita release to Karthikeya now, as he spoke about Hippi, everyone is busy admitting that their last outing is a flop.
But these heroes who promise that they will come up with better films to entertain the audiences often end up repeating the same mediocre content, rather than reinvent themselves or focusing on pulling out creative content. So, merely saying that ‘they are honestly admitting a failure’ is not enough. More than admitting, they have to learn from it.
Not to name any, but after Brahmotsavam failed, Mahesh tried to figure out what really went wrong but still, Spyder didn’t do. And then he took time to carve out Maharshi, which gave him relief. Now he’s planning a perfect masala entertainer with Sarileru Neekevvaru. Maybe such planning is needed for heroes who are busy admitting that their last film didn’t work.
However, our heroes have another quality too, as they admit about the failure of their previous film only when they are promoting their next one. That’s like they want some sympathy or so.
Thanks To The Trailer Success, He Got Saaho Contract
The makers of Saaho have maintained huge suspense about the music composer for the film after the trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy left the film citing creative differences. Though the names of Thaman and Ghibran are heard the big time, there was no clarity over that.
It looks like Saaho makers want to test the pulse of audiences by giving a chance to both Thaman and Ghibran regarding the background score as both have scored already for the making videos. And then the trailer’s impressive background score got all the attention for its peculiar sound and treatment. Guess what, that made the composer win the contract.
Run Raja Run and Jil movie fame Ghibran will be now scoring the background score for Saaho which is set for August 15th release. For the kind of output, he has given for the trailer, surely Ghibran has raised the expectations bar of the fans too. And going by his previous outings, surely this Tamil composer will deliver something top notch we have to say.
Manmadhudu 2 Is A Remake Of This French Film?
Many admire the film “Manmadhudu” as one of the classics delivered by Nagarjuna and Vijayabhaskar-Trivikram duo. However, the film’s plot is straight away grabbed from the Hollywood movie, Mel Gibson’s ‘What Women Want’, and only give a local touch, removing some fantasy elements.
From the advertising agency theme to eavesdropping on women, from hating women to stealing colleague’s ideas, everything is copied line to line from the Hollywood movie. As there’s no vast internet availability then, probably Nagarjuna and his team escaped the criticism. But now, it looks like it is not so easy for Manmadhudu 2 to do the same.
Going by some inside reports, Manmadhudu 2 is said to be a freemake of 2006 French film “Prete-moi ta main”. It deals with the story of a 43-year old man who gets forced by 7 members of his family to get married, but he ends up only having sexual relations but no love for any. But finally, he brings his friend’s daughter to act like his lover and escape on their marriage day but falls for her.
If the teaser of Manmadhudu 2 is anything to go by, it looks like ‘inspiring’ from this French movie is indeed true. But some say this Nagarjuna-Rakul starrer is not a freemake but an official remake only. Let’s see.
Seriously, This Would Have Worked Out!
On June 21, Manchu Vishnu’s controversial film for the sake of differences between hero, director, and producers, is finally hitting theatres. As ‘Voter’ is set for a release, the trailer of the film is getting a different kind of response from the audience.
Whatever may be the differences between hero and director, and their producer, it looks like ‘Voter’ is a thought-provoking film with lots of fun and satire induced. As the film takes on various political outfits and how politicians these days are making a mockery of voters, surely it is attracting all the attention. For this kind of content, surely the film would have worked out well had it released before the elections.
Probably that is what Manchu Vishnu is saying all these days as he feels that the film’s release timing would have fetched him well. But even now, if the film is well promoted, then the result would be favourable. With just release date four days away, we have to see what will happen.

Like many says, the fate of heroes, heroines and directors changes every Friday here. If we look at some heroines like Rakul Preet and Tamanna, they have planned in such a way that their initial flops haven’t bothered them. And they kept ascending to the throne in a strategic way.
Here comes our lady of the hour, Priya Prakash Varrier, who has shot to fame with her ‘wink’ act on the internet. This young girl however got offers flowing all her way from Tollywood back then and even Dil Raju offered her couple of films. But by demanding crores as her paycheck, she scared them all.
And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, she’s approached for a second heroine role in Nithin’s upcoming film that will have Keerthi Suresh in the lead. Well, whether the film happens immediately or not, getting a second heroine chance is something Priya is not anticipating.
That’s why, one has to cash on the offers that come their way initially even at a low price, such that they will get the attention first. Then they could demand what they like.
Kajal And Her Godly Director Teaming Again?
Heroine Kajal Aggarwal has revealed many times that she has always respected Teja as a godly figure and godfather to him in Telugu industry as he introduced her to Tollywood with Lakshmi Kalyanam movie. And recently, this duo has come up with Sita movie, which failed to click at the box office.
Reports are coming that Teja has narrated another female-centric script to Kajal recently and the actress got pretty excited about it. Also if all goes well, this will be her maiden production venture too. But as Sita failed to do well, they want to start this new film only after people forget about Sita, says a source.
On the other hand, it looks like Teja wants to regain his lost glory at any cost and he’s spinning stories so faster than ever. However the director has to make sure that his stories will suit the tastes of present generation audiences.
‘Ali-Babu’ and 23 ‘Dongalu’
YSRCP minister Anil Kumar Yadav came down heavily on Telugu Desam in the Assembly. In counter to former minister Atchannaidu, Anil Kumar Yadav said, like ‘Ali Baba’ and 40 thieves, TDP has become ‘Ali-Babu’ and 23 ‘Dongalu.’
“The TDP MLAs are still in the hangover that they are in power. They have to come to reality and analyse why people have rejected them. Still they claim that they did everything for people’s welfare in the last five years. I will tell them what they did in their tenure. Under ‘Neeru-Chettu’ initiative, they looted Rs 18,000 crore of money and they should be credited for shooting up the estimates of Polavaram dam from Rs 16000 crore to Rs 56000 crore,” said Anil.
Then Anil criticised TDP for hosting ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’ in New Delhi for ‘Special Status’ before the elections. “They staged a protest with Rs 500 crore of public money. That is why people gave the seat of opposition. They did not leave anything in the last five years,” stated Anil.
Jagan gets new convoy of vehicles!
Even as the Telugu Desam Party leaders are raising a hue and cry over the withdrawal of pilot and escort vehicles for their party president and leader of opposition N Chandrababu Naidu, the Andhra Pradesh government has provided brand new vehicles to YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On Monday, a batch of new vehicles have replaced the earlier ones in the convoy of Jagan Reddy. As many as six black-coloured high-end Toyota Fortuner cars have been inducted into the chief minister’s convoy.
The vehicles in the convoy were allotted a new number: AP39PA2345. All of them have been made bullet proof cars at huge expenditure.
The decision to provide new cars in Jagan’s convoy was apparently taken by the chief minister’s security authorities in the police department keeping in view the security requirements of the CM.
The earlier batch of cars being used by Jagan till now have been sent to Hyderabad and would be used for the chief minister, whenever he comes to Hyderabad.
In fact, compared to the new fleet of cars procured by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the new cars acquired by Jagan Reddy are not very expensive.
The Telangana chief minister had acquired as many as 10 high-end Land Cruiser Prados and Fortuners into his convoy after coming to power for the second time in December last. This new fleet replaced earlier batch of Toyota Fortuner cars he had bought in 2014.
So, within five years, he replaced his cars twice!
