Allu Arjun As A Software Engineer!

Except playing the role of a smart software engineer with a bit of conning to his characterisation in Arya 2, Allu Arjun hasn’t appeared as an IT guy in any of his films. But it looks like director Trivikram wants to turn him into that most hype profession for their next movie.

Apparently, some pictures of Allu Arjun that were allegedly shot at the shooting spot of his next film are doing rounds on the internet now. The pictures show Bunny slipping into formals and wearing a ‘tag’ around his neck. Though he’s not wearing any footwear in this particular picture, it looks like the actor will be seen as some corporate office employee in the movie, whether it is an IT job or not.

According to the grapevine, currently the romantic track of Allu Arjun and dusky beauty Pooja Hegde is being filmed. And then the likes of Tabu and Sushanth are also taking part in this shoot, which is being carved at a jet speed by Trivikram. At the same time, Thaman is said to have given a terrific tune to film a superb song in the office location.

Two Flop Heroines In Talks For Sai Dharam Tej

After director Maruthi refuted rumours that Malvika Sharma is the leading lady of his next film that features mega menalludu Sai Dharam Tej in the lead, here comes another surprising news. We hear that two heroines are in the consideration for the leading lady role now.

Firstly we hear that Sai Dharam Tej wants to borrow his cousin Allu Sirish’s ABCD heroine Rukshar Mir Dhillon. And then, Maruthi is looking at a glamorous angle and is said to be pushing the name of Savyasachi and iSmart Shankar fame Nidhie Aggerwal who flaunts her glamour like anything on the silver screen.

Guess what, both these heroines have acted in two films each in Tollywood and they scored only flops till date. That’s fine, but a director like Maruthi should look at how these girls will be able to perform on the screen. Those who have seen Ruskhar and Nidhi’s work could easily say that both the girls haven’t shown any acting prowess till date.

On the other hand, while the makers originally thought of naming this film as Bhogi, now they are considering ‘Prathi Roju Pandage’ for the title.

#BiggBoss: KA Paul And Bandla Ganesh Says No

Injured Nani Back To Shoot

Nani is a dedicated actor who seldom takes break from his shoot. In fact, even before the release of Jersey, Nani had started working on his next film Gang Leader without taking any break.

However, during the shooting of Gang Leader, Nani had recently hurt himself. While shooting for a scene, Nani had accidentally hurt his leg. The sources on the set revealed that it was minor ligament tear. Although doctors had advised him to take bed rest for a week, Nani is back to the shoot in three days. Nani had joined the shoot of Gang Leader couple of days ago.

Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the film is tipped to be a romantic family entertainer. It also features Karthikeya, of RX 100 and Hippi fame, in a negative role. Priyanka is cast opposite Nani for his love interest. The film has PC Sreeram’s camera and it is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

Dorasani Gets Her Second Film Already

Hero Rajasekhar’s young daughter Sivathmika will be debuting as a heroine very soon with the film Dorasani. As the teaser and songs of this film are already out, here comes an interesting now.

Though Dorasani is yet to release and Sivathmika is yet to score marks as an actor, reports are coming that she’s already underway for her second movie. Like how she paired with hero Vijay Devarkonda’s brother Anand, now she will be joining hands with late actor Srihari’s son Meghamsh in her second outing. A newcomer will be directing this film that will be produced Meghamsh’s debut film Rajdhoot producer.

Many star daughters including the likes of Manchu Lakshmi, Niharika Konidela have tried their best in Tollywood, but haven’t clicked much. So we have to see if Sivathmika will be creating flutters with her arrival and goes on becoming a happening heroine like her mother Jeevitha.

AP to get conditional special status?

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has proved a man of strong willpower and that he is hell-bent on achieving what he has in mind.

Jagan is aware that his party has come to power riding on the sentiment of special category status to Andhra Pradesh and that the people believed him and not Naidu, who had taken a U-turn after compromising with the Centre and accepting special financial package.

But soon after coming to power with a landslide majority, the YSRC chief sought to create an impression that it might not be possible to get special category status to AP as the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre had got huge mandate and it might ignore repeated pleas of the state.

Yet, Jagan said he would continue to pursue with the demand and hoped that it would materialise one day or the other.

Apparently, when Jagan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tirupati on Sunday evening, he is understood to have got a pleasant assurance from the latter that the Centre might consider granting of special category status to AP, subject to certain conditions.

It is learnt the Prime Minister has agreed to concede the demand, but suggested that instead of a blanket permission for the entire state, the special status could be given to certain backward areas of the state, wherein special incentives would be given for the same.

In all probability, there would be special status to Rayalaseema zone which would comprise four districts of the region, besides Prakasam, Nellore and parts of Guntur.

“There is also a possibility that the status could be given to all backward areas of the state except two or three major cities and municipal corporations,” sources said.

It is learnt there might be some clarity on the special status at the Niti Aayog governing council meeting to be held in New Delhi on June 15.
