Bigg Boss 3 Host: Two More Names Pop Up

For some reason, Telugu celebrities are feeling shocked by Bigg Boss, because they don’t want all the negativity on earth to engulf them in such a short time. Looking at the way Nani got attacked by netizens who got divided themselves into fans of Kaushal, Geetha Madhuri, and Tanish, no big hero is now willing to host the latest edition of this show.
After Nani opted out of the show post the Season 2, the show producers have thought of bringing back Jr NTR, but the star hero has rejected the idea citing that he’s busy with #RRR. And then, they have fallen back on their longtime supporter Akkineni Nagarjuna who has earlier hosted Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu for them.
Reports are coming that even Nagarjuna has cited his inability to host the show for reasons unknown and currently discussions are going on. Apart from Nag, now the team has got in touch with Daggubati Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati as well, to host this show. If not the Daggubati senior, most likely Rana might host this show, says a source.
For the now, Bigg Boss team hasn’t finalized any host, as far as the reports are concerned.
YSRC to win 105 MLA seats, but lose six MP seats?
Ever since the polling for elections to the assembly and Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh was completed on April 11, almost all the surveys predicted that the YSR Congress party will wrest power from the Telugu Desam Party after May 23, when the results are announced.
According to highly placed sources, the Central intelligence department has also conducted its own exit poll studies and reported to the Centre that the YSRC is going to win 105 MLA seats, as against 120-130 MLA seats predicted by various other agencies.
Apparently, the central intelligence indicated that the TDP had given tough fight in several assembly constituencies and it might get 65-70 MLA seats. The Jana Sena Party will either draw a blank or get a maximum of two to three seats.
However, the intelligence reports also suggested that the TDP will fare much better than what was predicted in the Lok Sabha elections.
According to these reports, the YSRC might win 16-19 MP seats, while the TDP will win five to six seats.
The YSRC is expected to lose in Narsaraopet, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Machilipatnam, Narasapur and Kakinada. In Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Vijayawada, too, the YSRC is likely to have a close call.
In any case, there will be some clarity when the actual exit polls results are out on May 19 evening and the final verdict will be any way out on May 23.
TS Inter Results Scam: A Blot on KCR’s Govt!
Everyone knows how important is 10+2 stage in the life of any student. It is that stage which makes or mars the future of any student.
But for Telangana government led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, 10+2 does not appear to hold any significance.
The recent scam which surfaced in the Telangana Intermediate exam results is a classic example to show how ‘insensitive’ and how ‘inefficient’ the TRS government is.
Nearly 3,000 Intermediate toppers, who secured more than 90 per cent marks in exams, that is who scored more than 900 marks out of total 1,000 marks in Inter exams this year, were declared as ‘failed’ by the Inter Board.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. There are several thousands of other meritorious students who were either declared by the Board as ‘failed’ or scored just about ‘pass marks’.
Shocked at this, several students already committed suicides. Over 18 suicides have already been reported from various districts of Telangana since the announcement of results four days ago.
When media dug deep into the issue, it was found that it was the mistake of the Board and not the students. It handed over the job of processing results to a private company, which is ill-experienced.
The result is, the above company declared results making passed students ‘failed’ and failed students ‘passed’.
Thought the scam came to light four days ago hardly anyone from the government, starting from CM KCR to his son KTR or education minister G Jagadish Reddy responded while shocked students and parents are running around Inter Board in Nampally every day to seek clarifications and sitting on agitations to protest the gross negligence of Inter Board.
The Inter Board headed by IAS officer and secretary Ashok initially tried to cover up the issue saying that “it’s common for students to fail in exams. Why media is blowing this out of proportion?”
But when media brought to light specific cases of meritorious students who were declared as failed, the Inter board admitted ‘guilt’ and started rectification measures.
In one instance, a girl from Mancherial district, who scored 96 marks in Telugu paper in Inter first year was awarded zero marks in the same paper in second year. When media highlighted this, Inter board issued revised marks list awarding 99 marks out of 100 to her.
One wonders, how come zero marks became 99 marks all of a sudden in a day.
Then it came to light that there are several such victims of Inter board negilgence.
Despite all this, KCR and his government have kept mum showing utter disregard or lack of concern towards students and their parents.
For KCR’s government, this is not new. When EAMCET scam surfaced three years ago, where question papers were leaked and sold like hot cakes in the market, KCR made tall claims of initiating tough action against the culprits. He ordered CID inquiry into the issue.
After three years, no one knows about the fate of this case. Either anyone punished or any cases booked against the guilty.
This is how KCR’s government functions in Telangana, who boasts of bringing ‘qualitative change’ in national politics by entering national politics after Lok Sabha results in May.
Students and parents lash out at KCR saying let alone bring qualitative change in India, he should try to bring a qualitative change at least in Telangana, who blindly voted for him and elected as CM for two terms.
Students and parents are now cursing themselves for electing such a negligent and irresponsible government, which cares a damn towards the future and interests of students or any other sections.
‘Alert for F1 Visa students on OPT/CPT/H-1B’
This year USCIS received 201K H-1B applications, which is an increase of nearly 11,000 petitions compared to the previous year.
H1B Lottery favored US Master Degree holders, as there was 11% increase in H-1B advanced degree petitions selection compared to FY 2019.
Well this is a positive news, but being selected in lottery is just the first hurdle. With request-for-evidence (RFE) rates rising to 60% during the first quarter of FY 2019, simply “winning” the lottery does not mean the case will be approved.
Looking at past year approval pattern, early planning is crucial as H-1B process is Employer driven. Starting early allows attorneys to identify potential issues that would take time to resolve and help avoid RFE.
Potential roadblock could be Foreign Credential evaluation, Gap in Employment, CPT and OPT status violations, Evidence of Work experience, Specialty occupation, Wage level, employer-employee relation and others.

Tirupati temple has 9,259 kg gold in treasury, banks
Tirupati: The Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala here owns 9,259 kg of gold deposited with various banks and in its treasury, a senior temple official said on Monday.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which manages the affairs of the country’s richest temple, has 5,387 kg of gold with the State Bank of India and 1,938 kg of gold with the Indian Overseas Bank under gold deposit schemes.
TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said the Punjab National Bank (PNB) returned 1,381 kg of gold on April 20 as the three-year scheme had reached maturity.
In addition, the TTD treasury has 553 kg mixed gold, comprising small jewellery.
A day after the Andhra Pradesh government ordered an inquiry into the alleged lapses into the release and transportation of 1,381 kg gold in the wake of its seizure by the Election Commission in Tamil Nadu, Singhal told a news conference that the PNB had total responsibility for the gold till delivering it to the TTD’s treasury.
The gold was seized in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district on April 17 when it was being brought back from PNB’s branch in Chennai to the TTD treasury in Tirupati.
Singhal denied media reports that the TTD showed documents to the Election Commission claiming ownership of the gold.
He made it clear that they were in no way concerned with the security and transportation of the gold as it was entirely the responsibility of the PNB.
After the seizure of the gold, the Income Tax department asked the TTD to send an official in connection with the investigations. The TTD official only informed the IT that PNB was supposed to deliver the gold at TTD treasury on April 18.
The gold seizure a day before the elections in Tamil Nadu triggered a row with TTD initially denying that the gold belonged to it.
Singhal defended the stand taken by the temple body. “It is the TTD’s gold when it reaches the treasury. How do we know how much gold the truck was carrying and what was its transportation route?” he asked.
On the criticism for transportation of the gold in the midst of elections, he dismissed this as coincidence. He said the maturity date was known when the gold was deposited with the PNB in 2016.
He said TTD had written to PNB on March 27 that gold deposit will be reaching maturity on April 18 and asked it to deliver the gold at treasury along with the interest (70 kg gold).
He said under the gold deposit gold scheme, the banks are paid one per cent commission and 1.5 per cent handling charges which includes gold purity testing, transportation, storage and other costs.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary L.V. Subrahmanyam on Sunday ordered an inquiry in the wake of gold seizure. He asked Special Chief Secretary, Revenue, Manmohan Singh, to find out the specific lapses, if any, on the part of the PNB and the TTD and submit a report on or before April 23.
The inquiry officer was asked to see if there were written instructions issued by the Executive Officer, TTD, and what was the role of TTD’s Vigilance wing. The officer will also report on what special care and monitoring the Vigilance wing of TTD has to take.
Telangana People too wishing for a change: Pawan
After his campaigns for elections in the state, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan made some interesting statements about AP politics and the need for change in Telangana. While speaking to the party candidates and seeking their feedback on the way polling was held in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan’s comments on Telangana shed light on his discomfort and disbelief in the TRS government led by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Discussing about the claims both the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party made over getting voted to power, Kalyan told his party leaders to know about the voting trend after the polling and submit a report to him. He felt that change has started ushering in the elections (due to Jana Sena) and hoped that the same trend should continue even in the local body elections.
Interestingly, he also said that the people in Telangana too are wishing for a change, he said. This is the first time that Pawan has openly acknowledged about the need for change in Telangana which is currently ruled by the TRS party. In fact, in the recent election campaign too, Pawan made shocking statements against TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao for worsening the relations between AP and Telangana and for dividing Telugu people.
However, Pawan’s comments have not given clarity on whether he is trying to boost Jana Sena’s chances in Telangana or pitching an alternative to KCR in the state. Political observers say that this could be his ploy to get the party to make its way into the state and increase its cadre while also exposing KCR’s authoritative style of governance, indirectly suggesting an alternative to the TRS.
