Pawan Predicts The Seats Janasena Will Win
Other day, though every politician is spending their leisure time well, with Chandrababu resting in Hyderabad, Jagan at Lotus Pond and others going on holiday, many thought even Pawan Kalyan will also fly abroad.
While his vacation plans are kept under the wraps, other day Janasena president is said to have held a meeting with his trusted aides at Hyderabad party office. Reportedly Pawan is said to be quite confident that the party will win a good number of seats in the recently concluded election whose result will be revealed on May 23rd. The Janasenani is said to have predicted nearly 15 seats for the ‘tea tumbler’ and even named the constituencies that they might win likely.
A good number of seats in Godavari districts and North Andhra including Vizag are on the mind of Pawan, while he’s said to have named a couple of MLA seats in Rayalaseema region, especially Kurnool. Though some of his party members pointed out at the surveys conducted by few top level companies and media houses, which predicted 1 or 0 seats for Janasena, Pawan asked them to ignore such stuff.
‘My constituency election expenditure is Rs 50 cr’
Anantpur MP JC Diwakar Reddy is an open minded politician and doesn’t hesitate to talk on any issue. This time, JC has targeted the public. Oh yes, you read it right, JC criticised people for becoming too commercial especially during the elections.
“When I contested for the first time for MLA position, the election expenditure was Rs 7 Lakh. The second time was Rs 25 Lakh and after three decades, the expenses are in crore of Rupees. Not just politicians, intellectuals and public should also blamed for this. People who couldn’t afford food for one time in a day are demanding Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 per vote these days. Such is the plight and in my constituency, Rs 50 crore was spent during the elections,” said JC.
The Anantapur MP then felt sorry for AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who despite introducing 120 welfare schemes, had to beg for votes but nobody recognised his work. “He launched many welfare schemes, inter-linked rivers to give water to the public. None appreciated them. But ‘Pasupu-Kunkuma’ and pensions to senior citizen had played a major role,” added JC.
About the election cost going up, JC said very soon he would hold a meeting with politicians, intellectuals and others to talk about this. This menace has to end as this is not a good trend in politics, concluded JC and left from Chandrababu’s residence in Erravelli.
After Two Years Gap, Shruti Wears Makeup Again
It has been a long wait for actress Shruti Haasan to sign a film. From rumors like her marriage to boyfriend Michael Corsale to a pregnancy gossip, she got stuck with many in the last two years. But finally, she’s back to the silver screen.
In 2017, Shruti has appeared on the silver screen in three films, each in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. While Katamarayudu is her last Telugu film, Singham 3 is her last Tamil flick and in Bollywood, she has done Behen Hogi Teri in the same year. After these films released, she’s out of the tinsel towns and didn’t even responded to any film call.
But today, all of a sudden Shruti appeared at the pooja event of Vijay Sethupathi’s next flick titled ‘Labham’ which has her in the leads. Sharing the news on her social media handle, Shruti wrote, “Started work on an exciting new project today. Excited to start a new film with one of my favorite actors! Such a lovely team. positive, progressive and fun”, along with a photograph.
Well, in that case, maybe Shruti will comeback to Telugu films as well within no time.
Sita Postponed to May 24
Teja’s ‘Sita’ has completely been pushed to next month. The film featuring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Kajal Aggarwal was to release this weekend. It will now release on May 24.
The film has failed to create buzz due to its uninteresting teaser. Even the so-called item song by Payal Rajput has not helped it much.
Given this low buzz, the team has decided to release it next month so that they can promote it aggressively.
Producer has given the movie’s theatrical rights to Abhishek Aggarwal but it has no takers in Andhra and Nizam markets.
Bellamkonda Srinivas’s films are not working in movie theaters though he is bringing good openings.
Bharat Trailer: Saviour of the Nation
Salman Khan is back to rule the hearts of cinegoers with yet another period drama– Bharat. Through various posters, set in different timelines, Salman has been constantly building anticipation around the film and making apparent that his character’s journey will unfold over several decades.
Now the trailer of the much awaited film has dropped and watchers are definitely in for a treat with this one.
The trailer opens with Jawaharlal Nehru’s Tryst with Destiny speech, but Salman interjects with his bold proclamation that his life has been one roller coaster ride.
The first journey shows Salman’s thrilling time with his circus troupe, where he dances and performs stunts to please the audience. This part also reveals his co-actors Disha Patani as a fellow performer and Sunil Grover as circus master.
‘Bharat’ is an official remake of a Korean film ‘An Ode To My Father’. The film depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man.
‘Bharat’ is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. It is slated for an Eid release this year.
All set for Congress LP to merge with TRS?
Telangana CM KCR’s intention of wiping out the opposition from the assembly, seems to be going as per his plan. 13 Congress MLAs reached the assembly on Monday morning and met at TRS Legislative Party (TRSLP) office and discussed about the possibilities of merging Congress Legislative party (CLP) with TRSLP.
Either today or tomorrow, the 13 rebel Congress MLAs are expected to meet assembly secretary and submit a letter about merging. They are awaiting for the appointment confirmation. Speaking about this with the media at the assembly premises, Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah said, TRS is very strong in the state and will become even stronger. People want KCR’s visionary leadership and we are ready to walk in KCR’s direction. When asked about merging of CLP with TRSLP, he replied that there is time for everything, you will see it in the coming days and about Congress, Lingaiah said, there will be only three leaders left in Congress i.e, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP chief Bhatti Vikramarka and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy.
One of the 13 MLAs said they are talking to advocates and taking legal opinion on this. “Once the legal experts give us appropriate suggestions, we would take our next step,” said a MLA.
Ahead of the ZPTC and MPTC elections, this is a new headache for Congress. The MLAs are not even willing to talk to TPCC to give a second thought.
Where is Mudragada Padmnabham?
With polling in Andhra Pradesh ending almost two weeks ago, prominent Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham seems to have disappeared from the elections scene altogether. Even during the high-voltage campaigning season in the state, he wasn’t seen anywhere in the whole episode nor was his voice heard.
His deafening silence has been a surprising revelation for those in AP’s political circles. As someone who has constantly opposed the Telugu Desam government and had written letters conveying the anguish of Kapus over the Kapus reservation issue, his vanishing act comes as a shocker to many.
As someone who has self-proclaimed himself as the torch-bearer for the Kapu community and also was alleged to be the one responsible for the Tuni train-burning incident, many are wondering why he has not even come out and asked people to vote.
His anti-Chandrababu stand is well known in the political circles. However, a few months ago, when asked about his interest in joining a political party, he said that he was in touch with all political parties but did not reveal whether he would join any.
On the other hand, political observers state that Chandrababu-led government’s announcement and passing of 5% Kapu reservation in the 10% EWS Quota could have silenced him as the government has made a provision and implemented its promise.
This could have been one of the reasons for Mudragada, whether to support or oppose it as the latter could put his own stand directly in conflict with his demand for Kapu reservation. Therefore, putting him in a fix through AP government’s announcement, political observers say, is a good strategy for the TDP.
However, will he make his stand clear following the election results on May 23rd is something we need to look forward. Well, the D-Day for AP polls results will surely open a Pandora’s box in the state.

Prabhas Landed In Mumbai

The final schedule of Saaho is being shot at some popular locations in Mumbai. The action entertainer has Dubai background and the film’s principal shoot was shot in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Italy, and Hyderabad. Various action episodes were aesthetically shot against the backdrop of skyscrapers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi.
Now, an action-packed schedule is underway in Mumbai. Neil Nitin Mukesh has taken a selfie with gorgeous Shraddha and director Sujeeth from the location and posted on his Instagram. With this, Prabhas fans are happy that the film’s shoot is progressing at a fast pace as the film is going to hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi simultaneously on August 15.
Huge Craze For Avengers: Endgame In Telugu States
After theatres in India have opened bookings for superhero ensemble film ‘Avengers: Endgame’ today, the fans are going crazy and excited. The Marvel Studios movie will have Iron Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, Hulk, and Captain America which depicts the amalgamation of the 10-year journey in the story. A few Avengers on board is giving all thrills to the fans and people predict it to shatter box office records.
